I just self published my first Academic paper NOT related to my Tertiary education or research.
https://www.academia.edu/resource/work/107548963
Check it out, covers some pretty interesting topics!
:Update: Feeling ambitious, I published an additional eight papers yesterday and I can't take back the consequences now.

I think what most impressed me about Noddings, though, was how she took ideas that most of us regard as uncontroversial, if not self-evident, and then either teased out their radical implications or pushed us to ask whether they really made sense at all. An example of the first move was her book-length consideration of the fact that “children (and adults, too) learn best when they are happy.” (She also observed that “happy individuals are rarely violent or intentionally cruel.”) This led her to pose a series of questions about the intellectual, psychological, and moral costs of schooling that not only ignores these simple facts but seems to be rooted in a glorification of suffering and a belief in original sin. Indeed, we could have predicted how the standards-and-testing movement would undermine meaningful learning just by virtue of how miserable it makes kids (and teachers!).

Do you guys feel like you do everything wrong? Like even if you do something “right” something else comes up and everyone wants to point that out other than that good thing you did? Yea me too.
Life can be so frustrating. I feel so alone in those moments like did you completely miss me doing that totally awesome thing but point out the small thing I missed.
I can’t catch a break it feels. Like I’m being suffocated; I can’t win even though I am but at the same time I need to improve and winning isn’t good enough.
I think that’s a big thing in spirituality; you can’t force any of it, it just happens and you experience it. You choose to give it meaning.
With life you think putting your foot forward on some stuff will help but then it falls through and your like um did none of the stuff I did matter? Am I just wasting my effort and hope on something that will just flop? Funny thing about that is if I didn’t try I wouldn’t have known if I could. If I didn’t put in the effort I wouldn’t know if it could be done by me especially.
What am I even trying to say with this post? Maybe that at the end of the day we are the ones who give meaning to our lives, and yea someone can point out a flaw and that can infuriate you but does it really take away the win if others don’t see it? Celebrate yourself. Huh typing this post made me feel better🤣 Life moves on even if you can’t. I think that gives me some hope that one day I won’t feel like I need to do better anymore. I can just be me.

just wondering how long have you been in love with you soul mate? I've trying to get over mine as well. Hoping it doesn't last for ever
Throughout life I've spent years at a time getting over people I thought were my soulmates aka "the one." Then some day, someone new comes along and changes everything. They are kind and everything you didn't think your soulmate would be. You don't think they're for you and end up pushing them away because you stubbornly hold onto the idea that someone else is your only soulmate. Holding on to the idea that someone is your soulmate or the only one for you is the worst thing because you miss out on all the amazing people who the universe sends to heal you and bring you happiness.
Now at this time in my journey, I think back on several people and how they've changed my life. I don't think we'll ever get another chance to be together... so I just try to accept the good we had and that it has become a part of me.
There are so many more people out there in the world who can love you, who you can love. Happiness is still out there if you can just let go and open your eyes just a bit more. Happiness isn't just one idea or one person. The world has so much in store for you. Getting over our idea of our soulmate takes time. I hope peace and happiness finds you soon.

Heuristic for Transforming Mental Events into an Ontological Equivalent to Base SI Units
I was curious about if it was possible to model cognitive activity as a physical system so I just created an equivalent qualitative metric to at least be able to have some degree of relative quantification of mental phenomena. Obviously these units are optimal for how I experience subjective reality but I hope that it will at least be interesting and maybe even useful to someone
Internal/External Objective|Subjective|Abstract reality => IEOSA
Totality of perceivable or mentally reconstructed reality|possible worlds
00 Standard SI units and Conversion to Neural Wireframe Substrate
Tumblr media
01 S (Second) -> (CT0))
02 M (Meter) -> (One Relative MR Length)
03 KG (Kilogram) -> (Vividness of MR Qualia/Intensity of Focus/Attention)
04 A (AMPERE) - > (Spontaneous Fluidity of Emergent Properties/Associations))
05 K (Kelvin) -> (Stability and Half Life of MR Entity)
06 m (Mol) -> ( n=(Amount of Nodes, Edges, Planes, Modules, and Axioms) present in a n)
07 cd (Candela) -> (Prominence of Focus of Pure MR over External Subjective Reality Sensory Input)
CT0 -> minimal resolution of a timeframe of active conscious perception
MR -> Mental Reconstruction; Directed Mental Visualization
Due to how the brain is neurologically wired, subjective experience is relative to itself or another phenomena so the key to deriving M is to just to visualize two points in your mind and their existence in themselves defines one M, it doesn't have to be a static distance.

"Everything that lives is designed to end. We are perpetually trapped in a never-ending spiral of life and death. Is this a curse? Or some kind of punishment? I often think about the god who blessed us with this cryptic puzzle… and wonder if we'll ever get the chance to kill him." - 2B
These are the opening words that you will hear when you load into Neir Automata. Which, and I mince no words with this, is one of the greatest games to have ever been created, and this quote sets the tone for what the player is about to participate in.
N:A, in its totality, is an experience of and expression of philosophical discussions about the meaning of existence while simultaneously providing a response to that within the playing of the game itself.
2B ponders if we will ever be able to end the ongoing cycle of life and death and the pain that is found in the whole system. And while the prime storyline of the game weaves the player through exploring multiple responses to this question that has been submitted by some of history's greatest philosophers, the player themselves is in something of a loop.
On one level this is played out within the structure of the game as it requires that you play the game from start to finish three separate times, which each play through offering a different perspective or progression to the storyline.
But on a more practical level than that, the play is in what is commonly known as a 'gameplay loop.' This is a feature of every game ever made, and it refers to a cycle of actions that you repeat over and over within a game. Shooter game? control character, shoot enemies, collect ammo, proceed to the new area and repeat. Minecraft? knock down blocks, build items, to known down more blocks to build more things to go to new areas to.....you get the idea.
N:A incorporates this loop into its philosophical response and turns the question on its head. That asks the player directly if they want that play loop to end and if they are willing to pay the cost of that. And what is that cost you might ask? ...well it's pretty obvious.
You stop playing.
