Pride Pandas!!
I don't know what else to do with these lol so I'm posting them here, some pride pandas I did!! This is part 1 out of 2!! Feel free to use for icons and stuff! :]
[Sticker ID: digital art of pandas on a transparent background. It is just a panda head with the panda having its eyes and a nose. The markings around the eyes are different blurred pride flag colors rather than black and has a black border around them with black swirl designs on top. The actual eyeball shown inside the markings is pure white with a black border around them. What pride flag variation each is will be in alt text. End of ID.]

6 stripes + gilbert baker diversity stripe. i use either this or GB's 2017 flag. this one's easier to draw.
diversity matters, and actively talking about it matters, but boiling diversity to just race (and ignoring other forms like nationality, age, gender, disability, religion, culture, etc.) does a huge disservice to the community.
Yes exactly. Having a stripe to symbolize diversity is great, because being LGBT isn't limited to any one type of person! But to equate diversity with black and brown skin tones IS a huge disservice.

Daily reminder that the current Progress Pride flag was made by a non-binary artist and saying it was made by a corporation is erasing non-binary representation.

has anyone made a progress flag that doesn't have the ugly pastels? in fact i think it would be neat to see a progress flag that reintroduces the original magenta and turquoise stripes (removed for production price factors that no longer exist) as the pink and blue for the trans progress triangle - at least that wouldn't introduce random pastels and keep everything one coherent color palette!

Second time in about 48 hours that I have gone into the search mines to bring out a specific pride flag for my blog only to be met with either long or thoughtless posts about how x flag is the most inferior or y flag is the most superior while shitting on other flag designs. Like, I am all for making as many flags as you want — the more the merrier no monopolies here. I would just like for people to keep in mind:
Which communities (including geographical and cultural!!!) specific flags come from and why they were created.
You do not need to be represented by every single stripe for the flag to be applicable to you.
If a flag is featuring a specific identity there's probably a reason for that, I don't care if it's ugly.
Please cite sources and inspiration! Flags represent communities and usually come from community involvement and influence.
Seriously unless a flag was made purposefully to demean or alienate others it's probably fine. You don't have to use it or prefer it and you can be annoyed with it but it doesn't mean it's the end of the world.

Bruh I hate the Philly flag, it's so ugly aesthetically. I also have issues with how it embodies a really US-cwbtric view on "race" (ethnicities) and skin colours... It all feels like USAmericans thinking their views and identity politics are universal and then they have the gall to say someone is "sus" for not using the regular rainbow flag tbh. Same for the trans triangle one... Black, brown, and trans people are all included in the rainbow flag by default. I don't know. I feel like it's so performative.
Exactly ^^^
