cannot describe how much I hate the tendency to speak about things like internalized homophobia or compulsory heterosexuality as though they're like, medical disorders one is afflicted by instead of descriptors for the way aspects of oppressive systems are internalized and often aggressively self-enforced

also vale and his relationship with injury has been discussed a lot but NOT ENOUGH! marc has got to be a masochist or something why does he not care if he's in pain how does he ignore it (answer: he's insane) BUT vale forcing him to be careful always making sure he's not hurting himself even more letting him feel good...
he DOES care that he’s in pain he has restructured his entire LIFE around that pain and he made an entire hagiographic DOCUMENTARY in order to process that pain and like. present the bad things that have happened to him in his life (vale hating him, sepang fallout, his arm) as a narrative that MEANT something. it can’t be so bad all these things happened to me because i came out the other side having learned something. and he says this white-knuckling the counter in his bathroom and staring into the mirror covered in motivational slogans

Drawings I made during my philosophy mock exam that I totally failed :33
I created an alternative universe where everyone is normal except Dean and Castiel who turned into ponies :D
Dean would be an earth pony and his cutie mark something like a cowboy hat with a gun (I wanted to fit a reference to the Impala but I couldn't find something good :/)
Castiel would be a pegasus and his cutie mark a heart with wings? Idk I wasn't really inspired :( His wings would be broken or burned to represent when the angels fell and lost their wings!
I also drew Rowena, she would be a unicorn I think + normal Cas that looks weird + the Great Eliatrope Goddess from Wakfu + some other random drawings!

you know, i think there's going to be a while post-canon where eiffel and hera and minkowski are all, like... too nice to each other. and that is going to be the worst period of time for their collective friendship. minkowski is going to be extra considerate about eiffel and hera's circumstances, and feel responsible for them. hera is going to have a lot to adapt to, and also, probably... separation anxiety and a fear of abandonment. and i don't even know where to start with eiffel. when they start to realize they're all kinda pissing each other off, and that they're fine with expressing that? i think that's when they're going to start behaving like themselves again, and that's the first step towards everything being actually kind of alright.

concept: akita in the administration. girl who was raised in a small community in a forest in a whole mystical realm just gets transported into a corporate office. forced to follow nonsense orders but doesnt even know about her whole life and family she spent years fighting for. now going after the people she loves just because she’s told to becoming the person she dedicated her whole being to going against. bi-weekly fights with jay over printer ink.

I think the reason I like the 5 Eccentrics so much is that it's just such a good depiction of the….variety of friendship. Because it was a group literally created to be destroyed. It was, in other words, a forced union of 5 people who might have never or barely interacted. Yet even with that, even knowing that, they all chose to have a meaningful friendship with each other - they chose to be friends and remain friends even if their union was forced, even if the very reason that they met was to be taken down. It's almost the arranged marriage trope but it wouldn't work as well like marriage because it really isn't that. It's like the family system (brought together by chance and a common identity) but it's still different. Because they didn't HAVE to be friends even if sharing the same label, because they didn't have to keep sticking around each other and become a real family. They chose to be friends in spite of all odds, chose to be grateful even amidst their destruction, and forged a precious bond that not even their predetermined fall could break and in this essay I will -
