Well. i have 2 move some farms around #ik my ranch isnt efficient or whatever... i also dont have any largos bc largos freak me out i dont like them. so i only have single types #and i have each type in individual pens... #n like. BUT see bc odd onions grow with carrots #i feed my pinks with carrots yk. sooo i figured. since i have my crystals in the grotto itd make more sense to have my pinks there since. #carrots and odd onions... so ya thats why i switched them SO for my like garden zones i like to have a silo obv so the drones can harvest #n i was gonna have the garden for my lab slimes (so oca oca + silver parsnips + phase lemon + prickly pear) in vks workshop #BUT that only has 4 plots so i wouldnt be able to ermm. have a silo but the lab has 5 plots so i just switched them around :] YAY! so i jus #need to get my erm. gardens from my main zone into the lab and then switch all the crops around so its all set...

All in order of favorite to least favorite.

Mikey: Hunters (his favorite cause same <3), tangle, honey, tabby, and pink -- the type of player to just have an entire enclosure of pink slimes and tried to keep tarrs as angry pets. My friend said Mikey would try to feed the echoes to the slimes to see if they would glow and would squish them till they make farting noises. Oh also has all the outfits for the little guys!

Raph: Sabers(After that all of his largos were saber combos) crystals, rock, tabby, lucky, tabby, and puddle slimes(2nd fav) -- the completionist only second to Donnie, collected a bunch of puddle slimes, goes out of his way to give all the slimes toys, and feeds all feral slimes they come across.

Donnie: Glitch and Quantum slimes are his favorite cause the slimy texture of any other slime is icky(same bro same). His ammo other slimes are rad, dervish, and rock. -- seriously...? ugh science guy def cosplays Viktor and he's his favorite character, has all the blueprints unlocked and the entire map is covered with inventions. Number 1 Completionist has everything to 100% and spent way too long trying to find gilded ginger (cries into my singular glided ginger that took 10+ hours to get)

Leo: Phosphor (he says it's mosaics but he gets blown up too much they make funny faces tho), mosaic, quicksilver, fire, boom, crystal slimes. -- has all the damaging slimes and just kinda runs into the enclosures absent-mindedly and just dies (sweats profusely) filled the grotto with echos, and also tried to feed them to slimes.

Yet another Au!

So, I had mentioned a slime rancher au in the bowuigi discord, and soon enough me and a couple others were just brainstorming and slapping it together, and this is (one of) the results!

(also tried a different artstyle. its kinda a mix of my usual style and canon lmao)

So Essentially, the bros move in to their own ranch, and their neighboring ranches being home to Bowser, Peach, and Daisy. Daisy and Peach share a ranch, with Peach usually handling the basic care of the slimes and plants (hence why I gave her a more gardener-kinda outfit) while Daisy usually goes exploring for new slimes. their Neighbor, Bowser, mostly specializes in Boom, Fire, Crystal, and Rock slimes, preferring the more volatile ones since they can’t really do much to him. (he’s still a koopa here, mostly cause I just didn’t want to make him human lmao) He’s also best friends with Peach- no romance there or anything.

He ends up meeting the bros when Mario ends up disturbing his boom slimes somehow (either with extremely loud music or something else). The two end up in an argument and there is Immediate dislike between them. Luigi, knowing how intense and... dense, his brother can be sometimes, decides to come over to Bowser’s ranch and apologize for it, and Bowser ends up thinking “alright, his brother’s not bad, so I guess I can tolerate them being my neighbors” and they just slowly befriend each other over time.

As for the slimes, there’s bits of ideas on those too!

Mario seems to attract literally every cat-like slime in existence. He goes for a nap under a tree and then wakes up under a pile of tabby slimes. You turn your back on him and when you look over again he’s got Hunter slimes all over him. He has a single Saber slime that is his baby and definitely spoiled named Pawline. (I headcanon Mario with a Calico cat named Pawline, so this is her in the au I guess XD) Luigi tends to be swarmed by batty and phosphor slimes, mostly as a reference to the Luigi’s Mansion games, but also because Batty Slimes are cute. They don’t swarm him as much as the cat slimes swarm Mario though. He also has a Yolky Slime named Sunny. When the two first saw Sunny Mario wanted to try and cook them because they looked like a giant egg. thankfully, Luigi said no and took Sunny in (and away from the stove). Sunny usually just sits around in the chicken coops, though every now and then you’ll find them Hiding in Luigi’s hat.

Peach has a bunch of Pink Flutter Largos... I don’t think I need to explain my reasoning there LMAO And Daisy has a bunch of tangle slimes, mostly because she thinks their cool, but also their one of the few plant slimes, and well, plants, flowers, daisies... you get the idea... XD

Bowser, since he’s a koopa and essentially heatproof, just isn’t affected by boom slimes and fire slimes. he’s also too big for a vacpack, so he just. picks up a handfull of slimes whenever he needs to move them around. At one Point Luigi is just. watching, as Bowser moves a bunch of boom largos, completely unaffected by the largos exploding in his arms. We were a bit(?) torn on what to do with the Koopalings and junior? Someone suggested that their a bunch of boom slimes that Bowser babies, though Personally I prefer them still being his kids. Maybe at the start of the au their all on a trip with their grandpa kamek? I just find the idea funny that during their talks, Bowser mentions he has kids to Luigi, but doesn’t mention that he has eight. So when they do get back from their trip, Luigi is just stunned at the sheer amount of kids he has lmao

Anyway yeah, that’s.. essentially it I think. I have other ideas so we’ll see if I make more lmao. I won’t write anything for it though, aside from maybe a oneshot here or there. (though I do think there’s at least one person from the server who is writing a fic for the au. Memory ain’t that great...)

Beginning: Moon went with his brother to do as much research as possible, he is very serious about his work and won't let up either. He left earth to support and help his brother while also maintaining a nice stream of info in their database.

Middle: As everything kept changing and the world got a bit bigger, he was happy he had Sun, and now even Y/n with them, even if him and Y/n weren't on the best of terms, they both liked each other enough.

End: Moon was content, no more secrets or big mysteries, he wasn't left in the dark anymore and that made him so much happier. His brother and both of their partner would even help with his research!

First impression on Y/n: Skittish, secretive, oblivious, suspiciously good with slimes...

How they met Y/n: Moon had met

Y/n in the overgrowth, them doing quite a bit of "wandering" in a not so safe area, but any time a slime got angry or aggressive, they would just do something to calm it down??? Even feeding a feral largo to stop it from biting him!

Summary: Moon is an observant, cunning, moron at times kind of person. They are a slight workaholic, but Sun keeps him at healthy limits, even if it's difficult. Moon can either quickly catch onto something or be completely blind to the answer. He's serious and stern, but that doesn't always come in handy for them, unlike hjs 7 feet in height.

Appearance: His basic form is still the 7 foot cannon version, except that he wears a vac pack and baggy clothing since he doesn't do a lot of running around, his clothes can differ a bit but stick mostly to a black turtle neck sweater with navy blue pants and light blue slippers.

Beginning: Sun loved the thought of running around and taking care of cute little creatures as well as leaning about them, so why wouldn't he want to go to the far far range to fo just that?

Middle: Sun has come to realise this isn't all as simple as say and do, but it was actually a very complex thing... but that would not deter Sun from making slimey friends! Especially with a certain rancher now able to help him through it all so he doesn't put the slimes (or himself) in danger.

End: Sun, now sharing a lover with his brother and a large understanding of the far far range (and even beyond that) is overjoyed to have that not so simple little life in the stars, he doesn't regret for a second leaving earth.

First impression on Y/n: Shy, inexperienced, humble little bean, slimes love them!

How they met Y/n: Sun was running around the dry reef, playing with a few pink slimes, when Y/n had fell off of one of the cliff areas they were using as a shortcut, landing on a pink-tabby largo before getting smothered by it. Sun automatically squealed in response to the adorable scene which caused Y/n to quickly look over since they didn't recognize his voice, leading to quite the... awkward encounter on their end, Sun was happy with it himself though.

Summary: Sun is a bubbly extrovert that loves slimes, games, a hugs! He is about 7 feet tall with flexible limbs, making it quite easy for him to get around. Sun can be a bit naive with his positive thinking, but that childish like wonder just makes him easier to get to know!

Appearance: Sun is in his basic cannon glory, but wear the vac pack with orange overalls with a pocket in the front (for snacks), a white t-shirt, and brown boots. He is still 7 foot in height, with his noisy bells with dark red ribbons.

Gender & Pronouns: Neither, they/them.

Species: Human.

Occupation: Slime carer and protector. (Slime rancher)

Favorite Slime(s): What’s yours?

Relationships: Lots of slimes, every type. Sun and Moon.

Beginning: Y/n lives on rainbow island, however likes to go explore every area at least once a week, unfortunately that meant the occasional accidental encounter.

Y/n definitely doesn't trust Sun or Moon, especially once they find out that they are researchers since Y/n has seen the horrors of what some researchers try to do to those poor slimes. The thought made Y/n feel sick, even feeling bad for Tar slimes...

Middle: Y/n took a while to open up, but once Sun and Moon finally gained their trust Y/n showed them more of the far far range, showing them every trick in the book and even eventually showing them their home too.

End: Y/n, falling in love, most would call someone who said that crazy! But it did happen, and it made Y/n so god damn happy.

First impression on Moon: Serious, hard worker, threat.

How they met Moon: Y/n was walking around a specific area, looking for some mint mangos at the time before running into Moon nearly getting chomped on, quickly feeding the slime since they knew what to do, but he apparently did not.

First impression on Sun: Bubbly idiot, probably easily manipulated, threat.

How they met Sun: Y/n met Sun on accident, hating every second of it except for when a pink-tabby largo smothered them with affection, although they felt bad for the poor slime having to break their fall moments prior, they were more irritated that Sun checked if they were okay but didn't check on the slime.

Summary: Y/n can be a very understanding yet judgemental person, once you gain their trust fully then it's a hard thing to lose, and if you manage to fully lose it... let's just say you won't get that level of trust back. Y/n is around 5'7 give or take a few inches, which can be frustrating but great for slime cuddles! They travel to and from rainbow island by boat, never leaving the boat out in the open. Since they basically grew up on the far far range and rainbow island, they have an almost encyclopedic knowledge on slimes and the different areas, knowing everything like the back of their hand! Which does mean they don't know a lot about earth, but they aren’t planning on going anytime soon.

Appearance: Y/n is about 5'6 in height with medium to short hair that is often worn in twin buns for convenience. They don't wear the vac pack, unlike Sun and Moon, but they do wear a black tank top with a red jacket, baggy brown pants, and black & white sneakers (that are usually badly tied).

Overall Summary: Sun and Moon are two ranchers that have come to the far far range, wanting to explore the new world and get away from the whole chaos of earth. However within the next couple of months as they settle down into their new home they meet another rancher, among the many, who stick out. With a few secrets tucked behind their sleeves and much more experience than them the adventures are endless!
