So I did this for my compositing class, I'm sitting on a lil mushroom. I hope this actually looks plausible, because I was in hell trying to use After Effects

Just your ordinary, everyday family photo. Skull nun girl, gold-arm bltch, and a variety of four extremely elderly jerks~

So I wanted to share a before and after piece. Most of what I do in digital art is photo composite. The warm lovely image on the left is a free to use adobe stock image. I love the look but I also love to reimagine places like this even more so the photo on the right with the rich blue tones and deep shadows is my vision of it in another world.
Lots of layers of course. Which included removing some glass windows, breaking the street lamps, and of course I removed all the people. A bunch more layers of dirt and grime.
I really should've done a screen record of this process but I didn't. I usually don't just because this is hours of work and for now I still feel so much pressure when screen recording to get things done quickly.

"We have people like that in society, too. They hang there and every time they break it entertains us. And when you shine a light on them it's this glittering, fantastic thing. But then, a lot of the time when the spotlight isn't on them, they're just still there, up on that pedestal... but no one is watching them."
