Steve and Robin need to be closer in fic. They are peak platonic. That means Naked no longer has any connection to Sex for them. Just bodies. And since they are one person, of course they're weirdly close about body stuff too.

If Robin freaks out that her boobs look weird, Steve for sure ends up first, bringing Robin porno mags, and when that doesn't make Robin calm down, yes, she's tits out, demanding that he give her an impartial opinion. Steve goes camping with Dustin, somehow ends up with a tick in his pubes, can't see to get rid of it, and yes, of course he calls Robin for help. Of Course she shows up with tweezers and too much information about lyme disease. Robin finds out Steve as a set of moles that look like Orion next to is dick, and uses it as a nickname to remind him that she has his back through anything. Steve has absolutely talked Robin down from the brink because sex ed is garbage in America, and she thought all discharge meant she had an std or something.

Grossly close. That is what I want to see more of. No boundaries, no borders, and so platonic that any potential sexual undertones of what they're doing doesn't even occur to them.

It makes so much sense - his costume designs and colours from Gen 3 on, Dragonite's pokedex entries about benevolently saving drowning sailors in the wild, never mind with a trainer, his proclivity for heroics and proximity to the super-dangerous Mount Silver... I've been holding this one for quite some time and finally can express the amount of pain and suffering I felt for the past years of doing what I love and hate at the same time, and it is - being an artist. When I was young, I first despised art until I realized I could do anything with my imagination and a pen. Years go by - I grow older, all these happy days are becoming less common. I now completly lost in thinking of why I even started to be the one who wields a pen. I used to make so much and now make nothing that sparks creativity and joy, succumbing to the "voices of the crowd" and locking my true feelings forever behind what people interest most. Now burned, tired, and seeing no comfort in drawing what I am into. All the fandoms and things I enjoy don't bring me all that anymore. All I see now is a painting, staying still, with no soul, with nothing to make me happy. I desperately trying to bring my colors but all that happens is me wasting my literal blood, sweat, and tears with no way to bring myself into the scene. Maybe someday the wall will break. But I belive it less and less as time is running out...

For artist Jim Denevan, a paramount element of his creative practice centers on building experiences within landscapes through art and temporary events. Known for his large-scale land works that shape expanses of sand into precise geometries (previously), he allows time, weather, and changing tides to gradually reform the compositions back into natural terrain. Opening today in the capital of the U.A.E., Denevan’s expansive “Self Similar” is part of Manar Abu Dhabi, a new initiative celebrating public art and illuminating the city’s landmarks and vistas with light.
