The chemicals that are traditionally used in developing film photography are extremely toxic and harmful for human and more-than-human life. for this reason, many lovely people around the world are looking for sustainable alternatives and exploring developing these films at home using parts of plants and accessible, non-toxic things like salt, vinegar, and else. To learn this gave me such a powerful sense of clarity regarding where do I want to take my practice. Many dots inside my head finally joined together to form this picture that I'm now committed to realize. I want to actively contribute to making photography and print-making more sustainable in whatever way I can. I believe that Photography as an Art form can serve as a catalist for change in so many different and important ways aswell. I would like for its moving force to lead us not towards further destruction, but to a more harmonious and life-giving relationship with Life and space and time which are also Life. I want to contribute to directing this power towards good, and I want to dedicate myself to that fully. In order to realize this, I need funding, and there are many ways you can help me with making my research and practice possible: I have prints on photographic paper and cyanotypes available, I'm on Patreon, and I accept direct donations too. If you would like to help me with this project of mine, please feel free to reach out. I appreciate the kindness and will be very grateful for the support.
