im a very picky person when it comes to picking me. what does that mean exactly? you want things a certain way, you like things are certain way, you want love a certain. you see, picky. and yet? when are you going to pick yourself or choose yourself.

Pickmes.

Female socialization is hardbaked and difficult to get off. Back when I was a full on Pickme, I legit thought I had to ask out men, that I was ugly, that I was undateable, that men lost interest in me because I was boring. No wonder, I was absolutely englufed by Pickme propaganda. All the messages in media are like "Women need to do this song and dance to appeal to men. Wear makeup. Dress this way and that way." Even my mother encouraged me to act Pickme, and accept less great treatment by other people.

Side effects: shit poor esteem, being walked on again and again, insulation, loss of great opportunities, constant ridicule, ease of being used up.

Everything around us is encouraging us to fold and origami ourselves into 1056 folds to please others. And Pickmes compose the majority of the women's population. They have been groomed from birth, and the majority will continue till death. But some do WAKE UP and notice the major scammery it is.

Everything of Pickme is a major scam for women.

Women aren't empowered going 50-50 on some dusties, women aren't empowered doing bdsm shit for fucked up men to gain some of that precious male attention.

It's the MALE ATTENTION that's the main goal of Pickmes.

They are miserable when single because no man is throwing them attention, no man is "loving them enough" they make male attention their raison d'être. They are panicked the moment their relationship is menaced (man loses interest? PANIC), and will recourse to humiliating way to bring him back. Like doing herculean efforts to please him, making super elaborate dates to impress him and encourage him into keeping her. Or sucking or fucking his brains off without being pleased herself sexually. Neglecting herself to keep men happy and around.

It's all a scam and shitty men will say not a word cuz they like it, obviously they benefit from it.

They're litterally ruining again and again their own psyches, into crumbles, and shitty men will participate in this destruction, strategically breaking down the Pickmes that try to recover themselves up.

And those Pickmes won't see how fucked up their whole clown act is. Because they're so panicked and englufed in their ways. They won't ever question it. You might give them excellent advice, but they won't enact it. Don't mind it, if they don't accept your advice, carry on being an amazing queen. And those Pickmes will see you and decide wether to follow you in your path, or fight you.

Yeah, fight. You doing non-pickme stuff will make them question the whole thing, and for some it will create cognitive dissonance. Like, you being treated well, and not licking men's boots challenges their whole idea that they MUST lick men's boots to get specks of attention.

Some will wake up, some will challenge you. A cognitive dissonance is so goddamn hard to get over. It is like, the opposition of the true desire, the true reason versus the socialization by society. Sometimes, challenging the message of society can create pain, and make one see how everything is so deeply evil. Humans hate mental pain, anguish, they'll try to avoid it at any costs. The Pickmes refusing to see the truth will lash out at you, call you names, attribute you characteristics that aren't true. I've been called cruel, I've been called ridiculous, I've been called misandrist, heartless, for just not tolerating being used up by men. Just that? All those insults?

And those same Pickmes will give you dangerous, harmful advice, and won't give you advice that will genuinely help you as a Woman. They'll always serve men before their own kind, they'll prioritize men above anything. They're traitors. Surrounding yourself with Pickmes as friends is actually so dangerous, because you might start emulating their advice and their fucked up ideals unconsciously, no matter how strong you think yourself are.

Surround yourself with strong women. Or go alone. Cut off the shitty media and magazine advice if you notice it doesn't gives woman-centered advice. You owe yourself the protection of your mind and body.

Good men don't like it, because they know it is exploitative and ridiculous. They'll stay the fuck away from Pickmes. They want a woman that can hold herself up, so they can expect mutual support into greatness. The Pickme will support her man to death, but won't level up herself, thus limiting the man down.

A lot of women will go through ALL their lives in the Pickme hypnosis, and will see nothing wrong with it because it's their normal. They actually see US hypergamous, levelling up women as the weird ones, being so rude, being so strict, being golddiggers for not accepting brokies, et cetera.

Pay no mind and carry on.

Going to sleep with a lump in my throat and sore stomach. It’s so disappointing when you see women you thought were intellectuals and brave speakers jump on the men’s rights activism train, spewing “facts” about male suicide, male incarceration rate, substance abuse, and mortality rate without taking the time to discuss the bigger picture and context behind those things, how they relate to women, and how some of those things are a result of their own actions in societies which they dominate politically.

Incredibly sad I had to see a post like this tonight, and even seeing women I respect who who liked the post. I can’t believe this is the current world for women.

I have made many posts regarding all these issues; the suicide one in particular and how women self-harm more, attempt suicide just as much as men, and have incredibly high amounts of suicide ideation, not to mention women are literally harmed and discarded from family in certain parts of the world for such things.

Also, it’s interesting that I saw this tonight because just a few days ago, I was reading about how these “dangerous,” male-dominated jobs such a firefighters, police, construction etc. have incredibly high amounts of women who worked in those fields but had to leave due to constant sexism and harassment. It was awful to read about. Believe me when I say, context matters with statistics like these.

With the incarnation statistics, it’s not a fair assessment because it’s proven that many men walk free of their crimes, all the while a very high percentage of women are incarcerated for simply defending themselves against violent men. Also, many men are in jail for crimes committed against other men.

Also, there is nothing that can back up the notion that women are shamed less for emotions/crying, or coming forward about abuse. There is not a woman I can think of who has not been ridiculed to death for coming forward about abuse, nor is there a man I can think of who was accused of abuse who didn’t go on to lead a normal if not successful life if they weren’t jailed for their crime. Men are absolutely NOT more systematically or socially oppressed in these matters simply for being men. Men have the same access if not more to mental healthcare as women, too. Someone tried to make a point in the comments that all mental health services and care facilities are catered to women…as if there isn’t a reason for that. As if there aren’t statistics that can prove why that might be!

Needless to say, pretty much all the statistics listed have a much larger picture to take into consideration, especially country to country.

Don’t even get me started on the horror that is the comment section. It’s a pick-me fest, and a spit in the eye from men claiming to care about equality or human rights.

This has been a terrible year for women. Sickening.
