12. What are their date nights -- or secret trysts -- like?

They usually dine at Dante’s, or at a similar exclusive restaurant, and there they decide where to spend the rest of the evening. They don't always plan in advance, they prefer to see what the city has to offer. After dinner they like to stroll around Veilgarden to see if there's anything new in the bohemian circles. They are both interested in art: the Deviless adores to attend poetry readings and Hiram enjoys all kinds of theatrical performances, and if they plan to go the theatre he always reserves two seats at Mahogany Hall. Their first date was at a concert, and they've canonically been to many dances and private soirées at the Brass Embassy.

They like to be in a busy place together, it makes them gravitate towards each other even more, and the Deviless particularly appreciates the background hum of a crowded place, but they always end their evenings in a quiet place, to spend the rest of the night playing music or slow dancing together, they value their intimacy. They both have a piano and a phonograph at home, but Hiram's townhouse is bigger and there's more space to waltz around so they prefer to go to his place.

Hiram doesn’t sleep much and the Deviless needs to sleep even less, she always remains with him until he falls asleep. Sometimes she stays until the morning comes, and he never has nightmares when she does.

he's the type of guy who'd buy you random gifts or give you some flowers that has special meanings behind it.

dinner dates or any type of dates that you prefer. yes, he loves to spoil you.

list all the things that you want, he'll get them for you. even if it is impossible, he'll find a way.

he gives everything to you. his love, his trust, himself, literally everything.

he might be a man of a few words and very awkward during the early stage of your relationship but he'll warm up later.

i can actually see him being a bit clingy here, specially when he overworked himself for the past few days. he'll definitely not let you go even if you squirmed and whined, reminding him that he has to wake up or he'll be late for work.

overall a very caring, kind, polite and a bit clingy type of lover. so take care of him please 🙏

he probably doesn't allow you to visit him when he's in dragonspine too much because he's worried about you.

but when you do visit him though, he'd ask you to sit down on the chair he provided while lending youb a hot drink to warm yourself up.

this little visit would often turn into study dates. when he sees you curiously observed his movements, he would ask you to come to him as he lends you his notes and explains to you what is his goal and so on.

yes, he won't just leave his job for you. but he'll talk and try to start a conversation with you just so you won't feel lonely and such. what do you expect from a workaholic anyw

would make some things that he thinks you'd like from alchemy and gives it to you.

a date in the tavern.

him flirting like crazy with you as you turned red and shamelessly flirt back. Diluc often kicks your drunk ass and your boyfriend out of the tavern because of this though.

if your're not the type to enjoy alcohol or doesn't like the idea of getting drunk with your boyfriend in the tavern as a date though, then don't worry ! this lil boyfriend of yours got it covered.

would probably try and convince you to sneak out and join him stargaze.

while you're both stargazing, he'd summon his lyre and plays with it while humming a soft tune that'll make the night much more comfortable and enjoyable.

you both would play around like kids afterwards, making some of the monsters notice your presence but venti would take care of them though ;)

during random times, he would just stare and admire you silently.

A/n : I know it's short and everything but I just lost the fire I had in writing stories. I really try to better me!

Masterlist

You try to breath slow and steady. You really try but it seems to doesn't work. You were so nervous.

It was your first time singing in front of a crowd. It was the audition for the lead singer of the band in Hogwards. And it was big thing. Many tried their luck but weren't good enough.

The rest of the band would hear you sing. The band had a guitarist, Fred, a pianist, George, a second guitarist Cedric and the manager Mattheo Riddle. The manager organiser there concert. He had an importent role too.

You look at the clock and you saw you had five minutes till you were going to have you audiotion. Your breath good heavier and you suddenly could feel a thight knod.

However it wouldn't go away. You were scared and nervouse and happy at the same time. Suddenly tears ran down you cheeks. You wete scared. REALLY scared. Suddenly you feel arms being wrapped around you from behind. You turn around just to face Mattheo. He was your friend and the one who said you should give this whole thing a try.

*Shhh. It's going to be ok* Your breath got a little slower but you still couldn't breath normally. He cupped you cheeks and suddenly kissed you. You wete irratedet at first, but you melt into it. You had a crush in him since you werr young. You didn't thought he would feel the same. In your stomach was flying 1 000 Butterflies. He moved his face a little to look into your eyes.

I think it's your turn now darling. You suddenly heard someone calling your name. You looked at him in shock and he just smirked. You smile at him. Before you could get on stage he called your name and yoh turn around. "The stage is yours" he says while walking away. You suddenly fell all the power you need to pass this audition.

You get in stage and start singing the song you wrote. You dang with all your love, anger, sadness and happiness. After you were done you bow for them and get down from the stage.

You see Mattheo staring at you like this:

You blush hard. And he gets to yiu and kiss you.

*1 year later*

*Nervous?* You look at Theodor and shoe him you tongue. Yoh couldn't believe it. After you got into the band the band was even more hyped then before. Leading too all the Hogwards students coming to your concerts and even students from other schools. It was a big Honor. And you knew that. You wete still nervouse before concerts.

But now you had your best friends/band collouges and Mattheo your boyfriend. You got on a piar of dates before you decide 11 months ago you would love to be with each other.

It was really romantic. It was on a sea with a picninc. But I think this is a story for another time!

I guess this letter is my way of saying, it is okay if you are not like me. If you are a woman of patience, reason and discipline. Or if you are easy going and do not really care about what is surrounding you. It is okay to be who you are. In fact, I would be honoured to meet you and to get to know you. Just the way you are.

Now, I am going to be honest with you. I did not have the best childhood myself. Girlhood felt extremely hard and I felt so disconnected from it, for the longest time. Not because there was something wrong with me, no. My discomfort had a lot to do with other people and their subjective views of what a girl should be, how a girl should act. And that is precisely the thing I want to protect you from. Girlhood is a sacred experience and I would like you to go into it as comfortable and ready for change as possible. It is going to be hard, I am not going to lie. But it is also going to be the most life changing experience. You will realize how important you are. How much you matter, how extremely amazing you are - for being a woman and not only. It is a priviledge that you get to experience and you should be beyond proud. Do not let anyone dictate how you feel about yourself. Do not let them dictate what you do or do not do to your body, what you wear, how loud you speak. This all makes you, you. Be unapologetic about it, embrace it, whatever ''IT'' may mean to you.

Whether you would like to be a pilot one day, an academic, a rock star or a neurosurgeon, you will have my unconditional support. After all, it is your life that you have to make incredible. Make your life amazing by your own standards, set your own goals, or do not. I will love you either way.

Something about your life that you will learn eventually, is that you have been brought here without your permission. You are the result of somebody else's decisions. And I am sorry about that, but I hope you are happy and you have found something to live for.

I hope we can spend time together. I hope we can read together, watch movies, talk about anything and everything that comes to mind. I hope you will know that you can tell me or ask me anything, I mean it. I hope we can go on shopping sprees, exchange opinions and laugh a lot. I hope we can grab coffee anytime and have an amazing time. I also hope that we can talk about the inevitable, serious things in life, to make them more bearable , to share the burden, for it will be lighter this way.

I hope we can get tattoos together, of things that only we know the meaning of. I hope we can create together, express ourselves, embrace ourselves. I hope we can do our make up together: I will teach you some things, you will teach me others. I hope we will go on picnincs, to read and explore everything and everyone around us.

Even if we don't, however, it is okay. I will still be happy to have you. We can do anything and be perfectly content.
