Up next for the TinySparrow kits, we've got Pigeonfoot!

Pigeonfoot has no physical description given, so I came up with my own for her. I made her littermates small, but something about Pigeonfoot just made me want to make her a big, stocky, absolute fluffball of a cat. Something about the mental image of how pigeons just poof out all their feathers, and tuck their head into a thick ring of neck feathers, like the fur lining on a fancy lady's coat. I used this image as a reference. Only a few scars, as this girl hasn't seen many battles.

For her pattern, Pigeonfoot is described as a gray-and-white she-cat. I based her pattern partially off of the only native wild species of pigeon in the UK, the wood pigeon. The wood pigeon has a darker head, tail, and wings than the rest of its body, so that translated well into a pointed design, and it has a white splash on either side of its neck and on part of the wing, which I turned into a white neck ruff and white paws/white ringing the outside of the hind legs like how it rings the outside of the wing. She doesn't look identical of course, since my designs hue more realistic and I feel like cats aren't gonna look 100% like what they're named after, more likely they're just a normal-looking cat that the parents then name after something they somewhat resemble or remind them of - like, being named Foxnose doesn't instantly turn a cat into a little feline-shaped fox pattern-wise. But that's just my preference for designs. She has no canon eye color, so I gave her her dad's yellow eyes.

Overall, I'm really happy with how she turned out.

💥 Does your character have any negative habits?

Pigeonpaw has a tendency to be both passionate and well-meaning- and frustratingly stubborn. She can be reckless in pursuit of her dreams- which can get her in a lot of trouble real quickly. As for physical habits, she rambles when she's excited and can talk way too much sometimes- often her mouth gets ahead of her brain and she can wind up saying something she hadn't meant to.

🔥 What gets your character angry? What is their breaking point?

Birchfang has two types of anger- cold anger and hot anger. Both equally as terrifying. She keeps a cool head most of the time and is the opposite of impulsive- but sometimes things can just... push her over the edge. The cold anger is when she's scarily calm, with a look in her eye(s?) that could sear through steel. That sort of self control is intimidating. Hot anger on the other hand- that's when she raises her voice, bares her teeth, and a furious look in her eyes like she wants to flay someone alive. That kinda anger is very very rare- but it definitely shows how she survived all those scars of unknown origin that litter her pelt...

As for what pushes her over the edge? Well... we've yet to see her breaking point.

Moon 138-Leaf-fall

After moons and moons of slow burn romance, rejection, and uncertainty, Peakspots (107) gets up the courage to confess his love to Yuccastar (117).  He’s shocked when they reciprocate and the two become mates.  Moorleg (50) watches this romantic exchange and wonders if her love story can also get a happy ending.  She confesses to Cressfreckle (54) and. . .gets rejected.  He’s barely recovered from the loss of his mates and is not looking for any other romance.  He’s polite about it, but it’s still a rejection.  Also, Cressfreckle has more on his mind than potential mates.  His son has been made a full Healer!  During his ceremony, Gladepaw (14) is visited by his dead mentor, Needlepelt, along with his parents: Airclaw, Graysong, and Yellowcreek.  They assure him that he’ll be alright without them, and that he’s ready for his full name.  Resting her muzzle on Gladepaw’s head, Needlepelt names him Gladepatch, in honor of his resilience.  Cressfreckle could not be prouder of him.  He’s been through so much in his short life, but he’s such a kind and lively young cat.  He’ll do well in the healer's den.  Cressfreckle is also, as always, looking out for the young members of the Clan.  He notices how helpful Pigeonpaw (7) is being around the camp, such as by encouraging the thorns in the barrier to grow.  She’s making the best use of her weak earth-blessing.  Frostheart (41) has been quite invested in the healer's den lately, as her only remaining family resides there. And they’re actually able to communicate with her dead relatives. She annoys Caterpillarmallow (88) by constantly asking the Healers if they’ve heard from StarClan.  She hasn't. Steppemimic (21) has been hearing StarClan voices lately though. . .While on a patrol, Mothecho (17) and Fry (45) come across an injured kittypet named Minha (24).  Her back is broken, and Mothecho can’t help but think about Lilyshade.  Her sister couldn’t survive it, but maybe this cat can.  They bring her back to camp and the Healers get to work.

new warrior cats oc :3 i wanted to focus on color changing with age in this design, so his pelt, collar, and eyes change with age! more abt him under the cut :3

pigeonpaw used to be a kittypet named pudding! she grew up in a very loving home but kept having VERY weird dreams to the point where she found herself sleepwalking at night, traveling a dream-like forest, talking with cats who had stars dancing around their whiskers.

one night she found herself awoken by a Riverclan patrol, who discovered her drowning in the river that she had fallen into while sleepwalking. they brought her back to camp and nursed her back to health, and while she was there she told the medicine cat and leader why she was in the river.

the leader was skeptical at first, but the medicine cat fully believed pudding's story, and begged the leader for her to stay, that Starclan brought pudding there for a reason. Pudding, reluctant to leave her home, wanted to go back to her twolegs, but found that once she was back home the dreams returned, this time more frequent and realistic.

Pudding eventually came back to the clan, claiming that she couldn't deal with the dreams anymore and would stay in Riverclan if it meant sleeping normally again. Pudding was renamed Pigeonkit (if reluctant at first to accept this name) and was brought into the clan.

there was push back at first, bullying pigeonkit for being a fat, wellfed kittypet, but it didn't really bother her. she was just very sweet and kind to her new clanmates and they eventually grew to like her. pigeonkit was especially sweet to the elders, and they were the first to warm up to her, defending the kit if others bad mouthed or bullied her. i like to think this evolved to the clan being protective over pigeonkit, getting to the point where if someone was rude to her theyd be like "BRO... WHAT did she do to you okay...??? why would you say that to her"

pigeonpaw started to train as a warrior apprentice (much to riverclan's medicine cat's anguish). during a border patrol a nasty fight broke out, and during it pigeonpaw received an omen from starclan, urging him to become a healer instead.

riverclan's medicine cat was overjoyed by the news but pigeonpaw was pretty bummed out by it. he loved hunting and going on patrols with his clanmates, and found it uncomfortable to be around the medicine cat all the time

pigeonpaw has the scar on his neck from when he had his collar removed (getting too tight + grimy). he had a fellow apprentice help out, biting on the collar and trying to tear it off. while the other apprentice was gnawing on the collar, it snapped suddenly, and the apprentice's fangs dug into pigeonpaw's neck accidentally, scaring both of the cats.

the wound got infected for a bit but eventually healed over, however it left a very noticeable scar on pigeonpaw's neck. he laughs about it now, and he likes to tell jokes at gatherings about how he got it. the other apprentice who gave him the scar is still embarrassed about it and frequently apologizes to pigeonpaw whenever its brought up.

he doesnt have a warrior name yet but i think im gonna keep it that way teehee :3
