Here are some of my guidelines for my weight loss plan:
1300 calories a day
PIIT28 workout 6x a week
Bedtime at 9:30pm (10:30pm Fri/Sat)
Up at 6:00am M-F
Up at 7:00am weekends
Limit alcohol, only for social occasions, no more than 2 drinks.
64oz water a day
Herbal tea at night
Read 20 minutes a night

Seoul Searching | Week 1
While being in quarantine here in New Jersey, I’ve been thinking so much and to say I’m handling this well would be a lie. 
These past few months have been such a trip, but this week was by far one of my worst weeks. From my mom testing positive for covid this week, to feeling very stressed, and just overall overwhelmed and like I’m losing myself again. 
I’m just ready for it to be like June-July with consistent 70-90 degree weather. I’m tired of it being in the 40-50′s with maybe every other week we have a 60 degree weather day.
 I’m ready for my mom to fully get better and test again and her results be negative (same goes for my brother, but to remain healthy and safe since both or them are high-risk). 
I’ve decided to take a break from Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. Lately all of those platforms have just been killing my vibe and just filled with so much toxic negativity. It made me start losing motivation and stop focusing on the things I’m passionate about. However, that was my fault for allowing all of the stuff on those sites get to me. 
Tumblr has been feeling like my escape and soon I’ll go back to making Youtube content when I feel comfortable and confident enough. So, I’ll be more active here. 
I feel like what I need is an outlet to comfortably express my thoughts and just vibe, you know? Twitter just feels like a place you can’t do that if you get what I mean. 
Anyways, I’ve also been struggling with some other personal things that I don’t want to go into detail about, but that’s been messing with me emotionally and mentally as well. 
With all that being said, I wanted to get back into blogging/journaling and just doing more creative projects with many other things. Why? because I’m in desperate need of distracting myself with productivity. 
So, from blogging as much as I can (going to try blogging daily or weekly) to studying Korean and for my clep exam (whenever it’s safe to take it) and working out, I’m going to try and focus more on that. 
I’ve slowly been trying to not be on my phone as much and feel I need to just shut my phone off entirely at this point due to personal issues I can’t even put into words. 
I’m just struggling mentally and emotionally and don’t know what to do or how to keep it together. I will say, listening to park hyo shin and many of my other favorite artists has been helping a bit. Just need to focus soley on other things I’ve been putting off and just need to do in order to take my mind off of what I’m dealing with right now. 
I guess we can say this will be Week 1 of me “Seoul” searching since I want to try getting my shit together before eventually moving to Korea.

Perfect time to do PIIT28 😏
I’m speaking this into existence now. I’m almost done with the 100 abs challenge by Blogilates. Even when I missed days, I incorporated those missed workouts into the other days. This is the 2nd challenge I’ll complete. I think I’m ready for this. No. I am fucking ready for this 😤😤😤

Feb. 03. What’s the plan, Stan?
Today was a beautifully lazy Sunday. I watched Parks & Recreation and ate waffles. What could be better? On another positive note, I should get my car back tomorrow *fingers crossed*.
I made eggs (2 eggs + 4 tablespoons egg whites) + 1 cup sautéed mushrooms + 1/4 avocado + a bit of salsa for breakfast. I downed a protein smoothie for a snack. Fell back asleep for 2 hours & then went to the gym. CRUSHED Piit28 1.3. I had sweet potato with garbanzo beans and hummus for lunch & Kodiak Protein Waffles for dinner (mixed in one egg + 1 tablespoon olive oil + topped with 2 tablespoons of maple syrup). I also ate some shredded coconut and almond butter for a dessert/snack. I’m feeling pretty good about today.. nutrition wise.
I applied to a Household/Child Assistant Position that I think I’d be really fit for, but the start date was Feb.1st. I’m not sure if the position is even still open, but it would be fabulous to get an interview. I’ve been thinking loads about my career. There is no doubt how difficult the road is going to be if I stick with my initial plan to work in the television industry. I actually HATE working 14 hour days... standing all day. I can NOT function correctly without a proper amount of sleep. My mental health goes to absolute shit (not starting at high levels to begin with) if I don’t average 8-9 hours of sleep. I know eventually I would move up, but can I really afford (physically and mentally) to be a Set Production Assistant for the next 5 years? I’m going to revisit the idea in March... I want to see if I get to interview for the DGATP again in the Spring. Until then, I’m working on morphing into a fit, tan, brunette surfer girl.

I guess this will be my weight loss blog. To start, I'm a 39 year old mom with a 4 year old and I stay at home with her. After I had my daughter my weight was actually pretty low, but sure to a traumatic house move followed immediately by the pandemic, my weight crept up. I've been trying half heartedly to lose weight only to gain it back with too much wine and take out. I'll try and be accountable here. My plan is to lose 12 pounds in 12 weeks when I go on vacation to Mexico! I'm also trying to finish two rounds each of all three PIIT28 versions which will take me right up to my 40th birthday in March. Wish me luck!

#piit28 journey day 1.7/ 28. What are you doing to better improve your life? What motivates you? 💪 It feels weird posting body pics after my workout I definitely dislike the way my body looks and I can't wait to see the changes. It's going to take dedication, time, and fixing some parts of my diet. I've already completed this calendar once but I never moved onto versions 2 & 3 and I'm excited to challenge myself to do just that. My reward if I can stick with it for the next 3 months is to reward myself with a gym membership. It's important to love yourself but if you don't it's okay to want to change in a healthy manner. #pilates #pilatesintenseintervaltraining #piit #fitness #fitnessforcosplay
