born on 2 May 1892 and died on 21 April 1918, Manfred von Richthofen was the best fighter pilot in the First World War with 81 shoots. First an enthusiastic rider, he took part in horse races and in 1911 joined the Uhlanen Regiment " Emperor Alexander". At the beginning of the First World War he was stationed in Russia, but quickly came to Luxembourg and France where he acted as a reconnaissance behind the enemy lines. On 30 April 1915 he started his training with the aviation department. Manfred von Richthofen was an excellent tactician who helped him become one of the best pilots. because of his red painted airplanes he was called the Red Baron. On April 21, 1918, Manfred von Richthofen was hit by a bullet during the flight and died shortly thereafter. he was buried with the greatest honor.
