Healing yourself by being free

Is it even possible? Spending almost 20 years in the USA and being surrounded by all the slogans:

- Never give up

- Keep going

- You can do this

- Success in life

I have come to the realization that life can be something else. I can actually ask for help. It’s totally okay to not have a job and be okay with that. Accept the fact that I am in the place where I have to be… it’s okay to be confused, it’s okay to feel lost, it’s okay to lose control of your life, it’s okay just to trust the universe, your higher power…

For the last 40 years, it will be my second immigration and it’s okay. There is nothing wrong with leaving the country I don’t feel happy to be in. To leave the aviation industry. To be honest, I don’t feel like I am leaving for good, just temporarily. Until I feel healed. Until I am ready to come back to the toxic lifestyle of the USA, to eat fake food, to hear fake news, to pay high taxes for a government that creates wars in the world, kills people… Why do I want to come back to that? Because I spent $130,000 on my pilot's career… because I don’t want to give up and I want to keep going… to keep going and feel alone by being in different hotels every night, by eating airport food, having this horrible coffee just to keep me going… being a gold member at Starbucks (in all of Bali I saw maybe 2 Starbucks shops) and paying $7-$10 for my Green Mocha Latte… Who cares?

I am ready to give up my life in the USA and start something new… an unknown new life in Bali. Adjusting to a new country, new culture, new traditions… Am I ready? I don’t know… I created my new meditation, just keep saying I don’t know and feel okay with that… I know in western countries you must have a plan and stick to it.. but what if I change my plan for a little bit and if I really want to become an airline pilot, I can come back next year with more energy and motivation to keep going… right now I am taking a pause to feel free and gain life experience living in paradise island.
