Okay, so let me see if I can get this right: Without his glasses, if Ralsei's scarf and irises are pink (though his scarf was supposed to be red in the beginning of the game), then his counterparts' (from Paper Trail) irises are the same color as their scarfs. Elsira = Red irises. Alseir = Blue irises. Irales = Yellow irises. Sareli = Orange irises. Lairse = Purple irises.
ambiguous-me asked: Oh! I forgot to include their horn colors, since their horns would also be the same color as their scarves and irises! 🤦‍♂️
If the other princes are following along with that trend with Ralsei, then yeah, that sounds about right!

Styling in My Mahabharat
I am a person with wild dreams. And one of my wildest dreams is making my own Magnum Opus on Mahabharat, which focuses specifically on Abhimanyu & Uttara. The story is being written by me, and I am doing my best for all of it. Styling, is something that I am focusing on, as it makes me happy.
I am not the biggest fan of the clothing in Star Plus Mahabharat because:
The clothing was too simple. Only the borders had designs.
The clothing was repeated a bit too much, where was the variety?
The jewelry clearly seemed...phony. Rich n royal=/= heavy gold tbh.
So, I watched some styling videos of many period films, and here I am, with my ideas!
First of all, we need to incorporate materials like silk, cotton and muslin. These three should be the primary, and the difference b/w the three can clearly show a difference in hierarchy. Muslin can be shown to be worn during the night/summers.
We have Banarasi and Kanjivaram sarees, we have Bandhni and Patola prints, we have zari work. I would def include these in the costumes.
For jewelries, simple, but designs from various parts of the country will look good. One or two heavy necklaces are enough, IMO, to show the grandeur of the era. Plus other jewelries like hair ornaments, earrings, bangles, armbands and kamarbandhas are here.
Different designs of armor for the men are a must, probably modelled after what Arjun wore in Star Plus Mahabharat. His armor suited his body type, and looked very good on his figure, over all.
Hairstyles have to include flower ornaments like gajra. They are not worn on "wedding nights" pls, how do these ppl find flowery stuff romantic when someone else is wearing it?!
And now, I shall style my main characters, Abhimanyu and Uttara. If this is successful, I shall do the others too-
Abhimanyu
This is gonna be pretty short. What are the main things for styling a male?
I imagine Abhimanyu with long hair, not too long, but till his neck. Not completely straight, slightly wavy.
One thing I love about StarBharat is the tilaks they have done, for the Kuru men, with the moon and other designs. I will keep that one for sure.
Since Abhimanyu has lived majority of his life in Dwarka, some traditional prints/jewelry designs of Gujarat/Maharashtra will be a great inclusion.
As for ornaments, nothing particular is necessary, except two bracelets, one neckpiece, and two earrings. My headcanon has Abhimanyu wearing an armband, and a single ring.
And colors...hmm, purple is a good option, as that color is associated with royalty. The color blue is a great choice, since it symbolizes freedom and sensitivity, as well as faith and stability. Red is a must, as it is associated with bravery, and dark red means vigor, willpower, and rage. Abhimanyu is canonically short tempered, his name means "extremely wrathful". And red is associated with sacrifice as well, so it is def his color.
As I am going to show Abhimanyu be 21, his headpiece in the armor from StarBharat goes away, as it gives him a boy-ish look. Without it, however, changes his look completely, and I don't want anything in his outfit making him seem boy-ish.
Uttara
Uttara's details in my mind are far different from what is shown in StarBharat. I have kept the same cast as they look cute together in my story, yes, and I hate Uttara's styling.
Her clothing is exquisite, just like her mother's. Matsya is canonically rich, and her maternal side is from Kekaya, what do you expect? Uttara's clothes are flowy, to allow easy movements.
The material of the fabric will be silk, with Kanjivaram, Zari and Banarasi type of embroideries on them. I am showing Matsyadesa to have a riverine trade route, so she should have access to all types of fabrics. Some traditional Rajasthani prints have to be there too.
Jewelry is not too much, but well made and designed. Uttara is interested in dressing up, and it is obvious that she shall have a large collection of ornaments.
The colors shall be pink, as it symbolizes innocence and softness, off white and yellow, which symbolize purity and joy respectively, and blues, lemons and greens as well. Her color scheme rarely has dark shades, as it is symbolic.
Her hairstyles range from a braid, to a bun and a bun with a braid coming out of it (kind of like the typical dance hairstyle).
Sindoor is a must, and there are no veils here. Uttara does own various mini-chudamani style ornaments, which she wears from time to time. Blouses are strapless mostly, some times some of them have straps.

Hi!!! This is the-cat-and-the-birdie 😁😁😁
I just wanted to ask - and sorry if this is weird! But I know Maitreyi is Indian as are you, and I know Diwali is coming up soon. I just wanted to know if Maitreyi celebrates Diwali, and if so does she do anything with Hobie?
I just thought Hobie participating in Diwali would be beautiful so I wanted to ask! Anyway, I love your work and think you're an amazing addition to the fandom. Can wait to read anything new you put out 🧡 thanks for all your effort
Because she was taken away from her family when she was young, she never really got to participate in celebrations like Diwali and considering the fact that there aren’t really any other Indian superheroes in her universe, she couldn’t share her culture with them or really go to any events.
I like to think that Pav invited her to his family's Diwali festival for the first time, which his Aunt Maya usually hosts, and he convinced Hobie to come too (he ships them like crazy) so they could both have that experience.
Maitreyi was hesitant at first, cause she wasn’t sure if she’d fit in well but when she found out Hobie was coming, she decided she’d go (cuz she’s a simp)
Pavi took her took her to get a red saree (for valor) to wear and got her measured and everything. She acted like she wasn’t interested in it but she was actually really excited to wear one.
Hobie wore a gold kurta (for prosperity) cause Pav forced him to, while Pav himself wore a lighter yellow color (happiness) Gayatri wore a simpler pink lehenga (love) and the two of them matched pretty well. But he was only able to see Gayatri for a while before she had to leave to celebrate with her family and because Inspector Singh doesn’t like Pav :(
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Maitreyi's saree on the top left, Hobie's kurta on the top right, Gayatri's lehenga on the bottom left and Pavitr's kurta on the bottom right! Disclaimer: I'm not saying this is what they look like, I'm just saying this is what the clothes would look like.
Side Note: Hobie would look so freaking good in a kurta like do you guys see my vision? Can someone draw him in a kurta I'm literally begging 😭. This tall ass mf would pull it off so well!!
When he saw Maitreyi in her saree for the first time, Hobie was a tiny bit awestruck, cause he doesn't see her in much other than her suit and streetwear and even then, she's very reserved and quiet around him. He kind of let out a soft "you look beautiful" when he saw her and she got so nervous she was barely able to respond. He was just trying to be nice cause he genuinely thought she looked really pretty, but she probably felt like she was going to explode. She was able to croak out a simple thank you but acted like an idiot (all sappy and dorky) around him for the rest of the festival. (She's so silly I'm totally not projecting)
While Maitreyi and Pav did rangoli in front of his house, Hobie was busy lighting all the lamps and candles and getting out the firecrackers. Pav had a lot of family over but none of them minded Maitreyi and Hobie being there, despite being a little confused by Hobie’s presence. What was a British punk doing in India?? Lmao
During the actual celebration, Hobie went kind of crazy over the firecrackers. Controlled explosions? The perfect combination of chaos and command tbh. He lit up more than half of the supply and at some point Pav had to ask him to leave some for the rest of his cousins to play with. But even then, Hobie stayed with those cousins and helped them light the firecrackers too cause a lot of them were young and scared (he’s so good with kids 😭). Like I could imagine him seeing a little kid who was holding a little matchstick in his hand and slowly trying to approach a firecracker and being like "hey mate, y'want some help? S'not scary at all, promise, lemme give you a hand" in his deep voice.
Maitreyi loved the Diwali sparklers, the ones that looked like incense sticks but when lit would burn and crackle. She would wave them around and create these beautiful patterns of smoke in the air, gracefully twirling the incense stick to draw these complicated designs that only lasted a part of a second. Hobie and the rest of the little kids would watch her in awe, excitedly asking her to draw different patterns to which she gladly obliged. Hobie was acting more like an excited kid than the rest, asking her to write his name with the smoke and more (Let the traumatized man release his inner child!) She found it cute.
When he decided to give it a try, she held his hand and helped him calmly (even though she was basically screaming with happiness on this inside), gently moving his hand in different directions and helping him create the same patterns. He's a bit clumsy, and his hands are fairly shaky so she'd kind of hold his hand firmly so the lines he drew into the air would be straight and so his movements would be a little more fluid. What she didn't realize was that he was staring at her with a smile the whole time while she was focused on the sparks. (I'm getting butterflies just writing this omg 😭)
Tumblr media
This is what the Diwali sparklers look like in action!! When you move them around, the light stays behind for just a split second and makes it look like you're drawing. People usually wave them in circles or in zig zag lines for fun, but you can also make really quick shapes like squares if you're fast enough. You can even write out the letters of your name!
Overall they all really enjoyed the celebration and Maitreyi made Pav promise to invite her again next year!!
thank you so much for this ask, I had a lot of fun writing it and I love the way it turned out even if I went a little overboard with the details 😭! @the-cat-and-the-birdie
Btw I love your spider-Sona, Diane, I read all your posts about her and Hobie and they’re literally the cutest. Maitreyi would definitely think Diane was the coolest and feel so safe around her because of what a strong, badass woman she is 😭

3. Fairs.
Unedited
Masterlist
It was a very good week for Y/n. Since that night, Ram was staying home. He took an extended leave from station to work on something. She wasn't sure how that happened, how he got the permission but he did.
He was also spending more time with her and Akhta; for however many months they've been married for, Y/n had never seen him latch onto somebody like that.
"Bhabhi! Anna sent this for you!"
Just like that, Akhtar would burst through the doors at any point of the day either to eat or to meet Ram or to give her something.
"Ha bhaiya! Keep it on the table!" She yelled over the sizzling onions and tomatoes that she just put in the kadhai.
A few minutes later Y/n emerged from the kitchen wiping her brow. "What has he sent today?"
She absolutely adored the way Akhtar's whole face would light up as he would speak. Y/n had never seen a more expressive man.
Or she was just spending too much time around the man who wouldn't be able to spell the word emote for his life, if asked.
Ha.
"Khas ka sherbet, he said you love it! Also! Also, he asked you to get ready for the fair!"
Shaking his head enthusiastically, Akhtar quickly went in the kitchen.
Y/n picked up the heavy glass bottle and shouted, "If you're hungry, tell me, I'll serve!"
"Na bhabhi, you get ready, bhai will be here soon!"
She quickly went to the wooden almirah and opened it's squeaky doors. A bunch of sarees were stacked neatly in compartment, and next to it were Ram's clothes.
She took out a nice pair for him and a red one for herself.
"Don't you have to get ready? Eat fast."
Akhtar's hand stopped right in front his mouth, and he laughed. "What will I do there? You guys have fun!"
Y/n frowned. Quickly putting their clothes aside, she came out to the veranda.
"What do you mean?"
"Y/n you better be ready!"
Ram's voice resounded in the home; he stepped in to see his wife frowning at Akhtar, and Akhtar poor guy looked wide eyed like a deer.
"Kya Hua?"
"He said he won't go to the fair! Did you say only two of us would go?" Y/n pointed to Akhtar.
Ram looked puzzled, "No! I said we'd all go," Ram quickly moved to Y/n's side and looked at the curly haired, forever hungry man child.
The two of them looked quiet intimidating looking down on him as he sat on the floor, his hand that held the Plate slowly lowered and he set it down.
In his mind, Akhtar knew he should have simply went with them and slipped away when they got lost in each other. Ram had told him multiple times how engaging Y/n's talks were.
But he had chosen to go the road that lead to him getting scolded by two very disgruntled adults. He already felt sorry for the kid they'd have.
"Okay okay bhai, I'll go!"
Slip away Akhtar, when the time is right- he told himself.
Satisfied with him, Ram turned the woman on his left, "Why aren't you ready yet?"
"Ah, I'll get ready in no time but tell me this, I cooked food. Who will eat it now?"
"Tomorrow morning," Y/n watched him as he washed his hands and feet. "We can eat it tomorrow, besides how long has it been since I took you out."
Thinking back to the day when he got a leave and took her shopping, Y/n shook her head, "Too long, I don't remember!"
She quickly got him a towel. He looked at the pink bangles on her hands, "there's fresh pair on the bed, go change."
"Tumne to kaha that ki you don't like pink bangles?"
She was already going upstairs, "I don't!" Ram looked on as she turned back abit to look at him. "But any other color doesn't go with the saree."
Smiling to himself, he clapped Akhtar's back, "Jao, get ready."
He then stepped in their room, there was a beautiful red and pink saree lying on the bed and next to it were his shirt and pant.
"Ram!"
Suddenly he heard Y/n shout his name form the floor above.
"Y/n!"
He made a dash towards the stairs. "Are you okay? What happened?"
Y/n turned to look at him, and he was just there skidding slightly before his legs stopped. He stared at her, she looked unharmed. Showed no signs of distress except a concerning frown and slightly downturned lips.
"What happened?"
"Look at the sky! The clouds are so dark, it might rain. Ram help me get the clothes, jaldi!"
Poor guy facepalmed and walked towards the string. "You didn't have to scream, devi."
"Oh."
Y/n hadn't realized that she shouted. Quickly she got the bedsheets and pillow covers while Ram took down everyday clothes.
"You know if it rains while we're out, we are so getting drenched."
"Y/n you're not getting out of this. You'll love it, I promise."
She was a weird weird girl, Ram thought. By no means did she hate going out but always came up with excuses to stay in.
They had rarely gone out to enjoy since they married, and he didn't want to be that guy. Enough people hated him already, there was absolutely no need to add Y/n's name to the list.
He watched as wind blew through her tendril-like curls. Her pallu threated to slip off her shoulders.
He watched her as tried to tame her hair, her saree with her hands full.
Before Ram could think, his feet moved and his hands took the sheets from her hands. "Come on, sun is about to set. We don't want to be late."
Quickly fixing the pallu, Y/n tried to take back some stuff but he was already halfway down the stairs. A small smile made way on her face. How lucky was she to get such a caring husband.
There was a time when her fear and anxiety knew no bounds, she prayed day and night to not get a husband like many of her cousins and aunts had.
It seemed like Mahadev had indeed listened.
"How far is it?"
Setting everything down on a takhat he turned to her, "Very far! Come on go! Get ready!"
It wasn't actually too far.
Sometime later Akhtar came in all set for a fun evening, "Bhai, let's go. I'm ready!"
Ram deadpanned. "Your bhabhi isn't."
Ah. That explained the look on his poor brother's face. Sometimes, Akhtar thought, Y/n purposefully took so long to get ready, to annoy Ram. Which wasn't always super fun; this one time Ram got annoyed at Y/n and didn't listen to her for two full days. Meaning he neither ate properly nor he slept. He kept giving them both sharp looks. Why poor Akhtar was subjected to those, he didn't know. He understood that irritated Ram doesn't difference between who he's directing his frustrations on.
"Y/n jaldi Karo, or he won't eat or sleep again!"
"Almost done, bhai," She came out with a maroon shirt, "you did not wear this?"
Ram looked up from his hand, "mhm?"
"Ha this shirt was clean enough, so didn't change."
"But this maroon one goes well with my saree!"
Akhtar watched as they stared at each other, in earlier days of his friendship with Ram he used to wait for him to start complaining.
He quickly realized that Ram would get annoyed, irritated even but not exasperated.
"Y/n is right bhai. It will look good on  you."
Ram knew he wouldn't win if he took up this as an argument.
After short few minutes, all three of them set out. The only evidence of sun was the light in the sky which was slowly dimming.
The bustle of the market was refreshing change from their usually quiet home.
The vendors argued and chatted away merrily with customers. The children clung to the pallu of their mothers. Girls stood at the panipuri stall and looked around as they waited for their turn. There was a group of boys standing at the Chai stall. Some elderly were walking through with their grandkids.
The noise was pleasant and welcome to Y/n's ears.
Sharp horns of motor bikes, and the clings from the bicycles. Fresh and red tomatoes, and aroma of dried chillies. The street looked like a painting.
"This way," Ram's hand found the small of her back. He gently asked her to turn left.
A quick stop for juice later, they reached the ground. "Akhtar! You know my father took me to a fair like once when I was a kid," Ram looked at Akhtar, who had quickly come really close to his heart, "my younger brother cried when baba didn't get him his favorite kulfi."
His head shook fondly at the faded memory. He no longer remembered his brother's face or voice, but he remembered this. He couldn't see his brother anymore, he still felt him just as much though.
Suddenly he felt a little pressure on his arm, Y/n stood close to him with her head bent down and almost resting on him.
His head turned right, Akhtar stood close to them, his own eyes moist. Did his chin quiver a bit? Ram's affection for him swelled, he was lucky to have them both in his life.
Sure he missed baba, his brother and ma but Y/n and Akhtar were a pretty good family.
They hadn't been with him for too long but still understood him and above all loved him, somewhere in their hearts.
"Chalo, we can't keep standing here," his breathy voice made the Y/n's hold on him tighter.
Ram placed his hand on hers, "Chalo, kitne Dino baad tumko lekar aaya hu, we'll miss the fun."
Akhtar heard him use the gentlest voice with his wife. His heart melted a bit, he thought. How could they not see the affection they had for each other.
"Ha bhabhi, I see a shop and they seem to be  making some nice chhole."
Ram looked at him gratefully.
Just a couple steps away was the sources of the most delicious aroma. Ram's hand guided Y/n as Akhtar cracked a few jokes and they walked.
Y/n looked at the Plate, there was chhole with Naan, Chilli and pickle.
She tore a bite and ate it. It was really good.
Ram got up for more chhole while Akhtar went to demand more masala.
He looked at the person who was making the Naan, that guy looked positively easy to jump off the cliff.
Chuckling slightly he grabbed his dear just met brother, "Y/n will make you more in a few days, for now let's just enjoy this. "
Seemingly satisfied Akhtar nodded and they both walked back to the table.
The was a woman sitting right next te theirs and she was talking to Y/n. He couldn't really see her face, but he saw that lady's expressions.
Then he heard her words.
"I wonder where your traitor husband stays all nights," her laugh cracked like a whip, "I mean I can't even blame him for not wanting to come home to this face. Poor guy."
Suddenly all Akhtar heard was his own blood thump through his veins. All he saw was the mock laugh.
He could see the shallow, rapid movements of Y/n's back.
His hand clenched the Plate, his legs felt lightweight.
"How dare you say such horrible words to my bhabhi!"
Akhtar was aware of his voice, his volume. The entire tent fell silent. He saw Ram's Plate fall with a clutter on an empty table.
To see his brother furious, to hear such words for his sister; Bheem could have killed somebody then and there.
Bheem could have. Akhtar could not.
That didn't mean, he had to stand there listen to this slander. So he moved and stood infront of Y/n, shielding her.
He stood there with bated breath, his eyes daring her to go on.
In a way he looked down on her almost wishing she would say something and give him an opportunity to rip her a new one.
"How dare you talk to my mother like that?"
Suddenly a punch came from  the side, which he saw coming thankfully. His hand gripped the fist and twisted the guy's arm. Akhtar willed to break every single bone. Maybe he would have.
In distance he heard a female calling out his Akhtar but Bheem did not care. His blood pumped in his ears. All he heard was the strangled cry of the boy. It was a shame he couldn't do same to the mouth that dared to utter such words.
"Akhtar!"
A strong hand gripped his hand and other grabbed his back, and tried to pull him back.
"Akhtar! Stop!"
They were saying a name. Whose he didn't know, Bheem felt this surge of visceral anger.
How dare they question his brother's pure intentions.
How could they point at the beauty of his sister.
They asked for pain, pain they shall get.
"AKHTAR!"
Bangles jingled near his ear, "Akhtar please, you'll break his arm!"
"Ram!"
Ram. Bheem looked to see Ram as he tried to pry his hands off the poor guy.
"Akhtar!"
He didn't really intend to stop but the barely contained fury in Ram's eyes. He let go. "Bhai! How could she?"
As soon as he let go, the lady scrambled to collect the boy and ran out of the tent.
"Akhtar, please."
He finally looked at her. Her forehead had lines of worry and her shoulders were slumped.
Akhtar couldn't really resist, he bought her in for an embrace, "Don't listen to them sister. You are beautiful, they don't know how lucky bhaiya considers himself. Don't listen to them."
He couldn't keep emotions out of his voice, Ram was standing right behind her. He still looked furious.
"Bhai, they are idiots who didn't know what they were saying. Don't listen to them."
Don't listen to them.
He wished for them, he hoped they didn't pay attention to such stupidity.
Three of them walked home in the dark, in complete silence. Akhtar parted ways and went to his home.
Now that he was gone, Ram felt more stupid. How could he just freeze there and not defend his wife. Years of training, years of instinct and he froze when his own wife needed him.
Keys clang together as he opened their house.
Y/n stepped in and almost ran to their room. If possible his heart broke even more. How?
Why did he let someone hurt his precious ardhangini? His other half. His soul.
She had only ever supported him and lifted him up, and he couldn't do anything for her.
Akhtar was a much better person than he was.
It was late. Most of neighborhood had gone to sleep. He locked the doors behind him.
What Ram was feeling was anger, red hot anger, but he also felt sad and dejected, like he had betrayed somebody.
He wanted to walk upto his punching bag and spend the night ruing the turn  of events. But he had hurt Y/n enough for one night, so his feet turned to their room.
There she was, already asleep. There had been rare occasions when she had went to bed mad at him and it felt like crap. Tonight however, he had a feeling that she fell asleep feeling sad and insecure. That was much worse.
Ram could deal with wife's anger but he had never dealt with her sadness. For the first time he had to see her eyes go blank in shock and he did not like it.
Carefully climbing into his bed, he laid right beside her and took her hand in his.
I hope you can find it in you to forgive me.
Her hand felt delicate against his hardened one. Turning to his side, he looked at the moonlit face; never had he seen a more beautiful one.

Sharara Suit For Women Wedding
Tumblr media
Sharara is another bottom style that is loved by every woman who loves to wear traditional clothing. It is also an essential wardrobe staple for every woman who loves dressings up for special occasions where one can flaunt their pretty traditional attires. But there are so many sharara styles to choose from and here are some of those sharara.
Sharara suits are highly popular among everyone and are the best to style for all functions. From haldi to reception you can rely on a Sharara suit. Some of my best ways to style a Sharara suit are:
1. A Saree-Like Look - Ditch your suit and wear a blouse with sharara
2. Heavy jewelry- You can style your sharara suit and pair it with jewelry for that extra look ( This looks best for a wedding)
3. Pop Makeup & colors - If you have a neutral/light color sharara suit you can try a colorful makeup
4. Cardigans /Jackets- A lot of people have started using Indian cardigans over sharara suits for that extra look
Gathered style– Light fabrics like chiffon and georgette are best to use for this style. If you want a sharara in these fabrics then it's best to go for a gathered style to give this silhouette a much-desired flare at the bottom.
Pleated style– If you have a medium-weight fabric then go for fine knife pleats to give the sharara a voluminous look. Fabric-like fine silk is perfect for this look.
Tiered style– If the simple style doesn’t fascinate you then do try the multi-layered or the tiered sharara style where the sharara is done in layers and is gathered at every layer.
Two-layered sharara– The bottom part of the sharara can also be done in two parts and its best to use eye-catchy embroidery here to make the silhouette look more beautiful.
Multi layered– One can add more layers to this silhouette like in the picture. Needless to say that this style looks beautiful while you walk, and in general too the layers add a modern touch to this traditional bottom style.
Salmon Pink Sharara Suit By Abhinav Mishra!
One designer that we blindly trust with our sharara suits would be Abhinav Mishra. This popular sharara suit made of raw silk has won us over. Hand embroidered with zari, sequins and mirror work is simply so GORGEOUS!
Banana Yellow Sharara With Floral Print
The banana-yellow Kurti in silk with floral print is decorated with thread and sequins embroidery in heritage motifs. The suit is further embellished with zardozi, Kundan and buttons on the placket. This comes with a pleated silk bottom and a net dupatta enhanced with pearls and zari lace.
Latest Sharara Suit in Red and Pink Hues!
Painted in red and pink hues this Sharara suit comes with a lehariya printed Kurti in crepe with Gotta Patti embroidery, French knots and sequins embroidered mesh on the neckline and buttis.

Navratri, the nine-night festival dedicated to the worship of Goddess Durga, is celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion in India, especially in states like Maharashtra and Gujarat. One of the captivating traditions during Navratri is the daily choice of colors to wear, each associated with a different form of the goddess. This practice holds deep significance in Hindu culture, symbolizing purity. Let's take a closer look at the Navratri colors to be followed this year and the gods and goddesses they represent.
Day 1: Pratipada - Shailputri
On the first day of Navratri, Goddess Shailputri is venerated, also known as Parvati, the daughter of the Himalaya mountains. The color for this day is Orange, symbolizing energy and enthusiasm.

these two strike me as pretty private people, so i don't think they'd want the wedding/after party to be a super huge affair with a ridiculous amount of guests. probably just a small gathering with their friends / family figures.
raven doesn’t go for the usual white dress. taking some influence from hindu culture here, her bridal saree would probably be pink. ( red is traditional as i understand, but given that pink is canonically one of her favorite colors, she'd probably be drawn to that ) something like this.
both of them trying so hard not to cry when they see each other on the aisle. will's prob smiling like a goof, and rae's smiling so big that her face hurts. and they only just manage not to. but then it's time for the vows & by that point it's total waterworks.
they def had the 'holy shit we're engaged / getting married' moment earlier on, but i think it starts to hit them, like, really starts to hit them once the day is done with.
' did we. did we just get married ?' 'yeah, pretty sure we did.' 'best decision we ever made.'
see, raven can't dance. girl just can't. and i think i saw that you said smth similar about will so like. consider: neither of them being particularly good at it, but they have a good time making the other laugh.
𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐌𝐏𝐓. send me  💒 + a ship for five wedding headcanons ! sent for will and rachel. from @spring-lxcked !
