promt: in which SOMEHOW Steven got himself split up with his gem-sona(?).. please don’t ask me how

featuring: Teen!Steven x Reader x Pink Steven

Steven has been rather off as of late, he rarely came out from his house, not attending any of little homeschool meetings, and became a little distant from you. It made you really sad, so today you decided that you’ll buy him his favorite donut and visit him on his house.

“hey, Lars! how’s the business doing?” the pink haired boy immediately look towards you and smiled once he recognized who it was. “Oh hey __! man its been so long since i’ve seen you. And my business is doing great than ever, the gems really liked my baked goods.” Lars smiled at you feeling happy that the two of you finally saw eachother again after a few weeks. He instinctively look around to see that there’s no Steven following you from behind, it was unusual for Lars to not see his half gem half human friend not following his partner like a lost puppy.

“hey __? where’s Steven? its unusual for him to not holding your hand or following you until the end of the day.” Lars questioned you with his head slowly tilting to the side, you only let out a sigh. “i don’t know Lars.. he hasn’t been out from his house for like three days? four? though i want to visit him today.” you dropped your head only to be patted by Lars.

“its okay __! i’m sure he’s okay, that’s good that you visit him today. Here’s your order, have a nice day!” you took your orders from him and wave at him while walking towards Steven’s house.

you walked towards Steven’s house feeling that something bad must’ve happened to why he hasn’t come out from his house for the past couple of days, your anxieties grew on each steps you took. Once you’re finally at his house you gently knock on the door and opened up the door only yo be met by two Stevens.

“__? wait WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE” Steven looked at you hopefully before finally realizing that you’re inside his house and was looking at Pink Steven. You look at both of the Stevens with wide eyes, yes today you wanted to visit your boyfriend… boyfriends..? but you didn’t expect that there would be two of him now.

Steven could only ran to you and hugged you close, feeling relieved that you’re here now. He’s tired dealing his pink version already, you only laughed softly as you rub circles around his back. You noticed that Pink Steven was walking towards you two but the thing you didn’t expect was him hugging you too from behind. Now you have two Stevens hugging you.

What you didn’t know was Steven sending a death stare to his other half while Pink Steven could only give Steven his usual stoic face. After hugging them both for awhile you finally took a notice of the bags under Steven’s eyes, indicating that he probably doesn’t sleep while dealing of his other half.

“Steven, please don’t tell me you didn’t sleep for the past couple of days..?” you take your hand to put it on his cheek while rubbing it gently, making him to sigh and put his hand on yours. “im sorry, __. But he’s very hard to take care with without him breaking every single thing he touch.” Steven spoke in a soft manner but still gritted his teeth on the last words, you pout at him and turn around to Pink Steven only to see him grab your other hand and put it against his, wanting to feel your warm hand.

your pout turned into a soft smile before sighing and took both of the Steven’s to his(their?) room with you sitting in between of the two Stevens. The three of you are ended up watching a movie. The one scene has a lover kissing their partner over and over again on their face, that leads Pink Steven wanting to try to do that to you since you’re technically his partner right?

you were caught by suprise when you were attacked by kisses from Pink Steven, you could see a glimpse of a darker shade of pink on his cheeks as he send kisses towards all over your face. Steven was flabbergasted at the sight of HIS partner with a version of himself. He take this as a challenge and now begin kissing your face also. You were laughing so much because of how much it tickles with the two of them now kissing your face over and over again.

let’s say that the night ends up the three of you abandoning the movies and went off into a deep sleep with smiles on your faces while cuddling close to eachothers.

-Nervous boy. He’s really scared. He gets all hyped up and ready, but then gets nervous when he’s actually about to do it.

-He was so happy when you said yes, he started to cheer, then getting embarrassed after, but you told him it was fine.

F-Flirting

-Let’s all agree right here, he can’t flirt. Even if his life depended on it.

-Sure, he’ll compliment you and TRY to flirt, but as soon as you start to flirt with him, he just can’t bring the words out of his mouth.

H-Hugging

-Let’s all agree right here right now Steven gives the best hugs. Literally he will stop everything he is doing just to hug you.

-He LOVES to surprise you with a hug from behind. He always does it and will never stop. But, he also loves giving you normal hugs, although, they feel like they always have a little bit more love in them.

K-Kissing

-Gives you the softest kisses ever! He’s so soft with you.

-He liked to kiss you almost anywhere! Especially on your face. His favorite spot to kiss you has got to be on the cheek. While he likes being kissed on the lips.

-He’ll do something called a “kiss attack”. It’s when he sneaks up on you and kisses you a lot. Almost like a tickle attack, just with kisses.

Q-Quaraling with each other

-Getting into heated arguments is rare, but it still happens. When Steven was going through all his trauma, and slowly started to get corrupted by it, he tended to fight with you a lot more.

-He had issues going on so he’d start to argue when you say something that provoked it or reminded him about it.

-He’s scary when he’s mad. Like really scary. And the pink makes it worse. Your cried before and had to stay away from him for a while…he hated that..but understood you needed space.

S-Spending the night over

-He was so nervous the first night he spent the night with you. He didn’t want anything to go wrong.

-For the first few times he’d clean somewhere near you, but not on your bed. No matter how many times you tell him he can sleep on your bed, he denies it, thinking that he’s not ready to do that.

-But after a while, you two do sleep in each others beds. He often comes to your place since the gems can be loud, especially amethyst. But you two do go to his house too.

Steven universe headcanons where he hasn't told the gems about his relationship with the reader. (Not out of malice it was not something that came up) so randomly when he comes to visit (after the end of the spin-off) he brings the reader and the gems kinda like freak when they learn that's his s/o. Is this too much? If you want you can simply ot or just not write it. It can be like a short story if that's easier.

a/n: im not really sure what do you mean by ‘spin-off’, but i just made this after the SUF one. Im sorry if what you mean is after the movie..

it’s been a year since he last seen from the gems and/or beach city. He’s been away for such a long time now.

maybe this would be a good time to visit his childhood place now.

don’t get me wrong, he calls the gems here and now, Steven usually keep his family updated on what he’s doing.

if Steven doesn’t atleast call any of the gems or Greg for one day in a week, they would call him nonstop until he pick it up.

what they don’t know is that he finally found his S/O. They didn’t know that he finally moves on from Connie and find the love of his life.

the gems or Greg has never brought up any kinds of stuff related to his love life, they’re afraid if they set him off while he was still healing slowly from his traumas.

so when he told the gems that he’s finally coming back from exploring the country, they were very happy to see how’s their favorite boy was doing!

Steven told you to start packing because we’re going back to see his family. And you happily follow him.

once the infamous dondai was seen by the gems, they immediately rushed to the car and hugged Steven who almost tripped because of their hugs.

“H-hey guys!- WOAH SLOW DOWN!!”

he chuckles at the gems before looking at his dad who had tears in his eyes.

“Schtu-ball! you’re back.”

Steven smiles before releasing the hug given by the gems. Greg ran to him and gave him a bone crushing hug.

they all seem to have a very nice reunion, while you’re just sitting there on the passenger seat. Looking at his gem family and his dad quite awkwardly.

you don’t know what to do so you just went out of the dondai to say hi to them for the first time.

Pearl was the one who saw you first and was quite suprised to see you. She was also confused on who you are.

Pearl asked Steven on who you are and when he told them that you’re his S/O they have their jaws on the floor instantly.

Amethyst screams in happiness that Steven can finally move on and start ruffling his hair.

Steven could only blushed in embarrassment while Garnet, Pearl, and Greg was still staring at you with flabbergasted eyes.

Pearl was not sure about this until she saw Garnet who is already smiling widely and pulled you into a side hug.

this made Pearl and Greg to eventually let it off and accepted you into the family since Garnet seems so sure about you.

Steven was very happy on how well the gems and his dad take you into the family.
