Shit ton of info abt the au under cut

SO.. its pretty obvious the au is taken from vol 10's alternate cover from the special edition

I also looked to the background to know which gems were present around that time (Ruby and Padpa)

Apophyllite's design was in the chap 95, and i had to guess that they were apophyllite (someone on hnk wiki mistook em for pinkto, but pinkto has longer and curlier hair). 

Aquamarine and Pinkflo were covered by speech bubbles so I drew over them without thinkong, only what first came to mind.  Sphalerite was from the squished gem page 😢 also pinkflo takes care of winter cause thats the gem used for taking antarc to the moon. And apophyllite reacts harshly to heat so i thought itd be good for them to work winter with pinkflo

Now off of that, the main protags are topaz, Bluezo, and chryso. The deuteragonist is Lapis Lazuli. Padpa doesnt have any holes, and Rutile is younger so they have a rebellious personality (i think it was mentioned in the manga once)

With this au, itll have canon divergence. Most gems wont get taken to the moon, phos wont suffer huge trauma, etc. Cant guarantee theyll keep all of their limbs tho 😔

Context on the lapis and phos page I did: Lapis has a dream about Phos, well before they were born (as well as some other gems) and they keep this within their mind. Lapis wont tell Ghost, but they'll mention it to Chryso. 

There will be two gems thatll be referenced from time to time who were the eldest and were taken to the moon, they do have canon designs but one had half of their face covered by a speech bubble and the other I had to line pictures together to see front and back (had to see which gems surrounded them too). Cant gurantee their classification will be the same as if miss ichikawa adds onto their characters

Heliodor, and most present gems will not be in the storyline until much later, as I see them as younger. 

Ghost will not die, but cairn will be transfem cause i accept that BUT they will not be manipulated by stinky moon man because i hate his ass
