I’m so incredibly sad to have to make a post like this but I will be quitting my pink manga edits. It’s a very difficult decision but it is one for my mental health. I thought that if it were only reposts of my work, I could ask nicely and have it properly handled. I try so hard with my edits and I want my hard work to be noticed. There are resposts all over instagram, weheartit, pinterest, and of course here on tumblr. I’m okay with reposts, unlike many other pages, I just want credit if it is. Even if it’s just mentioning my name is fine. I know that can be difficult when you’re cultivating your own image to have to credit someone, which is why I tried to teach how to make these edits the way I do. Now people are selling my edits on redbubble and other websites and I can’t do anything about it. It’s not technically my intellectual property, I don’t think, even if it is a lot more than me making something black and white into something pink. I tried very hard to take a break so that I wouldn’t be compelled to look at where my edits where going to. I came back and did so anyway. When I found out that people were selling them, I think I broke a little more. I hope that everyone understands. I still love all of you. Thank you so much for supporting me all this time! ~Meru
