You have no idea how much you mean to me. Even saying your name feels like I’m praising the beauty of nature herself. Your touches feel like the warmth of the rays of the sun. You have made me, a man of darkness, smile truly, from the inside out. You are my light, my very own shining star in angelic form.

I’m not perfect my love. I’m a lonely, complex, and at times, dark and bitter man. I’m definitely far from being the ideal lover you wanted. You chose to see all sides of me, and still accept me for who I am. You saw me at my very worst, and there were times I felt so much guilt from that. I couldn’t forget those times I did make you cry, and it haunted the very tresses of my soul. I still have traces of my cruelty and a sick sense of humor from those times. Still, a part of me couldn’t bear to hurt you anymore.

I swore to you that I’d protect my princess, and I’d be the very example of a knight in shining armor. I’ll protect you, even if it is from yourself. I know you have as many haunting moments from your past as I do. But together, we can overcome these obstacles, one by one. We can build each other’s faiths and lift each other up no matter what. You made me believe that Gillian, through your kindness, patience, and non judgemental side of you.

You were also there for me when I pretended to be a chipper mask of something else. You, like me, didn’t care much about facades and broke right through me. You, my dearest, also made me truly laugh and feel something deep down. I know it’s surprising I’m so flowery and poetic on this day, but...I really do mean every word I say.

I know I love to joke about suicide, and you don’t like it at all. I understand though, haha! However, you should know me by now that I don’t really mean it. My sweetest lady, I love you. You are my belladonna, my baby, and most importantly, my reason to live. Happy White Day my dearest.
