Josh, however, has never been one for subtlety or grace. And so he lets out a low whistle that only causes the flush on the unnamed man’s cheeks to darken.

Clearing his throat, and shooting Josh a glare that definitely goes ignored, Killian asks, “Is this still the home of Eddie Diaz?”

what are some things that ADHD is commonly misdiagnosed as? or like other things with similar symptoms? I'm 90% sure I have adhd but I want to check all the boxes and make sure before I broach the subject of getting diagnosed to my parents so that if they go "well it might just be this" then I can be like "no bc of so and so" you know?

ADHD and Autism can be confused with each other because they’re incredibly similar! But they’re frequently comorbid, which means that people commonly have both.

Anxiety and Depression (especially together) can get confused with ADHD, too.

PTSD and ADHD also have a lot of shared symptoms and can get confused.

And ADHD has quite a bit of overlap with Dyslexia!

okay i don’t know if it’s my like, number one, just because there’s so many factors to consider. but like i ADORE the “you know i had to” “i know you did” scene because so much of their relationship is based on the knowing, understanding, and accepting of each other. of truly seeing each other. and it’s on display in such a small, quiet moment, which says so much about their relationship.

like before buck goes to the hospital, you have him tell hen and bobby and athena that he doesn’t even know what it means to be buck, but eddie isn’t there, and i absolutely think that’s intentional. buck admits to getting lost, of not knowing how to find his way, and you have hen & athena tell them what being buck means to them. but then you have eddie, who needs no explanation other than “i had to do it” because he knows buck. he knows what it meant for him to save saleh, to stay in the factory despite the order to leave. and he accepts it, with full knowledge of the changes to his will. he loves buck because of who he is and what he does, not in spite of it.

and the fond looks they both give each other? the shot lingering on eddie as he watches buck walk away? eddie being the one to greet him as soon as he gets back?

I think that when buck and eddie get together eddie is gonna be VERY physically affectionate bc he's finally allowed to touch buck and he tries to keep it to a minimum in public but he's almost always got a hand on him. and when they're in private he just likes to cuddle on the couch and how could buck possibly say no to that he's wanted it for just as long

okay so be warned i have never done headcanons before so let's see what my ricketyass half brain cell comes up with aldjfaho

when it storms really bad and they've all got the day off to be home they like to cuddle up in the living room in nest of pillows and blankets and marathon movies and eat comfort food while they listen to the thunder and the pour.

when it rains but doesn't storm buck likes to go outside and just be in the rain & eddie stands under the porch watching him and shaking his head and trying to hide a soft smile but it's obvious by the adoring tone in his voice when he complains that buck's gonna catch cold that he's amused. buck likes to take chris out into the rain with him and they dance and tease eddie for being a no fun old man.

Ohhh so I love to learn about lot's of things, I have very broad interests and they do switch out pretty fast sometimes.

BUT

The one thing I love to tell people about? GOATS

My parents have a goat farm and I could literally talk about goats for hours. I've got funny stories, cute stories, sad stories, gross stories and a ton of facts and general information!

ok idk if this is an adhd thing but I literally cannot bring myself to do my assignments until the day they're due (or day before if they're due at like 8am), we'll even work on it in class and I just sit there like "it's not due right now, why should I do it" even if I want it done and have the opportunity to do it before it's due

Yeah, that’s an ADHD thing! One of the symptoms is Executive Dysfunction, which means that we find it very difficult to start tasks, especially when we know we have time before the deadline.

what IM thinking abt this morning is eddie waking up in the middle of the night and watching buck sleep. bucks on his side turned toward eddie, just looking so calm, relaxed, and absolutely breathtaking (whenever eddie tells him that, buck goes beet red bc no one's ever really called him that before). eddie turns to lay on his side too, facing buck, and just. looks. he looks and thinks abt how much he loves buck, abt how long it took them to get here, and how they finally got here. and then, he kisses bucks birthmark and snuggles into buck's chest and wraps his arms around buck's middle, and falls back asleep

see, eddie thinks he’s sneaky. he thinks he can watch him sleep, kiss his birthmark, and snuggle into him without buck noticing. what eddie doesn’t know, is at least half the time he does this, buck is awake. but he stays still, keeps his breathing even, lets eddie watch, lets him press the kiss, lets him bury himself into buck. because buck has never felt so loved, so absolutely cherished, adored, the way he does when eddie thinks he’s not awake.

(it’s something about how eddie does this, not because he wants to show his affection for buck to him, but because the affection and love that he has for buck is so overwhelming that he doesn’t need buck (or anyone else around) to give it to him. eddies love for buck is not reliant on an outside observer, even buck himself.)
