what drives me crazy is how randy and benson kind of become the inverse of each other by the end of the movie. like yeah it's something you probably see all the time in other movies but it's really something since randy begins to take control of his life through the diner and apologizing to ms beard while benson begins to crack and you realize along with randy that benson isn't this cold and calculating guy, but someone who seems to have very little going on as well and it terrifies him.

something I really like in contrast btween Ed and Lings designs is their color palette and clothes complimenting each other. Like, Eds clothes are black but has a gold theme/color palette, and Lings hair and eyes are black but his outfit is yellow. Does this even make sense? I have no idea but I really like it. Also, especially in the manga, I like how Ed is short and has a roundish face but Ling is taller and has a longer more narrow face, their designs contrast so well aesthetically <3

I'VE ACTUALLY TALKED ABOUT THIS BEFORE !!!! during my brotherhood rewatch on twitter i found out that ed and ling's colour palettes are practically inverted and it led to a bunch of necessary yin and yang jokes lmao
