Say what you will about Fallout 76 but they have the best damn looking Pipboy in the Pipboy 2000

Those lines, that clean look, the vac tubes under the mesh. I may end up buying a working one.

But what about the others?

Fallout 1 & 2 both have a version of the Pipboy 2000.

More or less a tablet instead of an arm computer but you can see where 76's Pipboy 2000 took design from.

Although on the arm would be incredibly akward.

Fallout 3 & New Vegas have the Pipboy 3000

Also comes with a glove withna dial. It's not as refined as 76's. Wider screen, bigger dial but all in all kinda meh.

Fallout 4 has... whatever the hell this is

My least favorite. Chunky and small at the same time.

Fallout 76's is definately the best looking Pipboy.

Just spent 4 hours modding FO3,

I wanted to install a radius mod, because i thought the pipboy 3000 was getting old and i like the mod in FoNV… well… issue… i tried uninstalling it and now my pipboy is missing AND when i press tab it just shows the hand like its holding the radius

Stella of Vault 21: 1, The Sea of Sand.

A girl roams the endless sea of sand in search of food, water, shelter, anything. As the sun sets she begins to become more and more hopeless she drinks the last of the purified water as she crawls under a rock outcropping. Taking out her blanket and lay down in the small alcove. she turns over and sees the lights of New Vegas. A tear rolls down her cheek. She thinks of her past home the only place she knew, Vault 21. She misses it, her family, her friends, her home. She remembers how her family would roll dice every night to see who got the extra food ration. Her first job was at the general store. Her Nuka Cola Collection at this point she tried to stop herself from crying to prevent herself from getting dehydrated but she couldn't. She soon fell asleep.

Waking up sometime later she realizes in the alcove is a door, this door leading to a vault entrance, Vault 11. Hoping someone is inside she activates the intercom. "Hello," she says "Is anyone in there" "I'm from Vault 21 please answer" Nothing She asks once again but no response so out of desperation she loads up her Pipboy 3000 and opens the door. With a loud screech of rusted metal and steel, the door opens. She cringes back trying to cover her ears. Now open she realizes something is off. "Next time on Stella of Vault 21: Will she find food or water within this derelict vault? What horrors await inside? Tune in next time to find out. This is Radio Mojave signing off" *Click*

It's Fallout's birthday! By coincidence, I also repainted my PipBoy 3000 Mark IV today! I had it way too brown, but the other half had this green so I gave it a try.

I feel like the lighting or my camera makes it look lighter and more blue than it is. But I'm really happy and was able to tape off the buttons and they still look great. Just needs a little weathering and assembly now.

I also have what will be a Vault Tec University jacket, which I will take a better picture of another time.

I think right now it's a Riverdale jacket, but with those colors, I couldn't say no...

Needless to say, I think my Sole is coming back for Halloween. I don't think I'll have time for anything else once I get the kids' costumes done. And that's okay!

WAR...WAR NEVER CHANGES

After making a fallout inspired minigun out of some cheap pool toys, wich I will post pics of later. I thought I would take a crack at something I've always wanted my own pipboy.

So turns out spirit Halloween sells a pretty good replica for 20 bucks or so. Using that as a base I modified it to not only fit my giant forearms. I also added led lights and while it comes with a cool screen decal that shifts from 3 different screens depending on how you look at it. I decided to go the extra mile and carve it out so I can put my phone in and run the pipboy app from fallout 4.

Its pretty Jerry rigged because I had to use what I had on hand but it works. Just need to finish weathering it and add some final touches. Then I'll post more pics and maybe a video of it working with the phone.
