Never Have I Ever - A Fic Tease
A/N - Honestly, I don't know what this is and I'm not sure if it'll go into a story at all or remain a Fic Tease for life.
This iteration of it is currently set 6 months before Nowish. Could change. Still not sure if i like it.
Oh, it's also fully unbeta'd, so none of this is @tiny-maus-boots fault.

“Never have I ever… had sex in the auditorium.”
Turning from Stacie’s wickedly pleased grin, Aubrey watched, absolutely fascinated, as Beca’s expression went perfectly still, her smile dropping away and taking all the color in her face with it.  Then Chloe gave a hum of pure satisfaction, taking a drink of her wine as Beca’s cheeks flared in a very impressive blush.
The four of them were celebrating Beca’s 23rd birthday – albeit a few days late. Aubrey had made Beca’s favorite dinner, Chloe had taken care of dessert and now they were lounging on the sectional couch in the Posen-Conrad living room.
Beca steadfastly refused to look at anyone as she drained the glass Stacie had just filled. Clearly pleased with herself, Stacie picked up the bottle and filled it again before settling back on the couch next to Aubrey.
“You did what in the auditorium?” Aubrey didn’t know if she was scandalized or amused. “That’s – you…” A mix of both, she decided, unable to stop smiling at Beca’s obvious discomfort. But really, the auditorium?
“Don’t give me the ‘It’s a sacred Bella space’ speech, Bree.” Beca rolled her eyes and looked up, ignoring the blush still high on her cheeks. “It’s just a room on a college campus with a bunch of horny young adults.”
Aubrey blinked – that had been exactly what she’d been about to say out of pure reflex, but it surprised her that Beca knew her well enough to anticipate it.
“Don’t be embarrassed, Becs.” Chloe bumped their shoulders together. “I’m sure countless generations have snuck in there for the same purpose.”
“Ew.” Beca’s face twisted. “Why would you say that?”
“You’re the one who said it, Beca.” Stacie topped off the rest of their glasses and shook the bottle. “Going to need another, I’ll be back.”
“Doesn’t mean I thought it through.” Beca shuddered as Stacie went into the kitchen. “Now I need a shower.”
“Need a hand?” Chloe blinked wide innocent blue eyes when Beca just arched a brow at her.
“Wait.” Aubrey looked over at her wife when she came back in the room. “How do you know about it and I don’t?”
“Chloe’s got great volume.” Stacie set the bottle on the table to let it breathe a little. Beca groaned and grabbed one of the throw pillows and tried to smother herself. To Aubrey’s shock, even Chloe started to blush through her grin. “I happened to be outside.”
“Pure chance. Mmhmm, right.” Aubrey looked at the three of them. “There’s more to this story, isn’t there?”
“No!” Beca’s yell was muffled from behind the pillow. “I am not drunk enough for this conversation.” She let the pillow fall to her lap. “I will never be drunk enough for this conversation.”
It was a testimony to how much she trusted the other three that not once did Aubrey become worried that she wasn’t in on the joke. While Past Aubrey and her insecurities weren’t entirely gone, she trusted the women in this room with her life and knew they would never keep anything from her with any malicious intent.
Besides, she knew eventually one of them would spill the details, they always did.
-------------
This definitely came about purely from "You did what in the auditorium?!" popping into my head yesterday before bed. Not quite the direction I saw it going once I had it down, but thought I'd throw it out anyway.

Darkest of Nights pt 19
Happy valentine's day, nerds.
Beca
All in all it hadn’t been the worst first meeting of the parents. At least. She didn't think it went that badly. Beca didn't really have anything to compare it to since there had never been anyone in her life to warrant a meeting of the folks before now.
She had learned a few things from them, however. Important things that had eased her mind being in the heart of a vampire stronghold.
The first being that every vampire there had defied the council in some way to protect or hide werefolk, humans, and fae to escape the Blood Guard. That counted for a lot in her book and forced her to change the way she was viewing vampires in general. Not that she truly trusted any of them besides Chloe and Aubrey but they had a stake in this fight for their own freedom.
All of them were as good as dead if the Council were to find them now. The necromancer pondered this as she turned on the shower to a deliciously warm spray and stepped under it. She sighed as she considered everything else she had heard too.
They would be safe there but only for a time. The blood guard would track them down eventually and all those vampires were now just sitting targets. Einar promised that every last one would fight for their lives but would they fight for hers?
Beca didn't think so. It wasn’t anything against them really. They didn't know her, and they were scared of what she could do to them. What she had done to them already. It weighed heavily on her as she lathered her hair and worked out the grit, sweat, and dried blood.
It didn't hurt. The necromancer frowned and gingerly touched all over her scalp but she couldn’t find any wounds that had occurred during her struggle with Billy Bob Pimp. Or the blast in the crypt. Her fingers trailed down her neck to brush over the delicate marks where Chloe had sunk fangs into her. There was no scabbing, only the smooth, slightly raised skin of scar tissue.
The brush of her fingertips over the bite marks caused a rush of heat to burn its way from her neck to parts decidedly lower and she had to inhale quickly to stifle the moan before it could slip past her lips.
Beca leaned against the cool tiled wall and focused on breathing. That was new. Not exactly unpleasant newness, but definitely unexpected. When she was sure her knees wouldn't buckle under her, she pushed off the wall and hurried through the rest of her shower looking for wounds that had already healed to unmarred flesh.
Finally wrapped in a luxuriously plush robe courtesy of Chloe, she leaned forward and looked into the mirror. No cuts, no bruises, no marks. Except for Chloe’s bite she was back to her usual resting bitch face with none the wiser about what she had just been through. Nothing had changed but she knew she was a different creature entirely than the woman who had been abducted from her caravan days..or weeks before. Honestly she wasn't even sure how much time had passed. It felt like a lifetime.
“Beca? Are you okay in there?”
She pulled back from the mirror at the knock and tightened her grip on the soft white terry cloth at her neck like the literal robe clutching prude that she was. Beca shuffled to the door and opened it a crack to peek out. Aubrey hovered just outside the door full of concern and holding a folded stack of clothes.
“What’s all that?”
“Chloe’s wardrobe is a little more…colorful than your usual style but I did find some things you might v-vibe with?”
God, did she have to be so fucking adorable all the time? Beca smiled and opened the door wider. “Still figuring out what the cool kids say, huh?”
“I feel as though I’m speaking a new language comprised of words I already know but no longer understand the meaning of.”
Aubrey handed over the folded stack of clothes with a soft frustrated sigh. It was hard to reconcile this gentle and confused woman with the crazed ax wielding demon vampire she knew the blonde could be.
“Well you're doing great. And you look like you feel better.”
The blonde gave a slight nod and self consciously brought her hand up to the side of her face that had been burned. There wasn't even a hint of redness now.
“Thanks to you. You seem to have healed as well.”
Aubrey reached out a tentative hand and grazed a fingertip along her jaw, tipping her head to the light. A cool hand cupped her cheek and Beca leaned into it. It was an almost perfect feeling standing there together. The air around them shifted as Chloe’s body filled the space beside them. Her pale arms slid around Beca and Aubrey, closing the circuit between them. Now it was perfect.
Power hummed up around them without the intensity they had called up in the van. This was something much softer and it swirled and eddied around them as though they were caught in a current. Their connection wasn't just magic that flowed between them, it was a part of each of them bound together in a way mere bodies could never achieve.
And the Council would never let them have this. Not without a fight.
Beca sighed and pulled back only enough to look at the two vampires. Now that she had whatever this was she intended to keep it. And as much as she wanted to sink into Chloe’s bed with them and do things that absolutely would get them arrested in several states and totally murdered by the Blood Guard, she knew they needed to plan.
“Can we talk?”
Chloe’s arms dropped from around them in resignation and Beca felt a tiny stab of rejection through their connection. The redhead mastered her tone and smiled just as airily and bright as always and it made Beca wonder how many times Chloe had done that before for her. Always accepting the rejection and only offering a teasing smile in return.
“Of course Bec. I'm sure you'd like to set up some ground rules for us…”
Confusion furrowed her brow at that. Rules? Beca opened her mouth but closed it with a click as she eyed them carefully.
“Wait…rules?”
“For our behavior.” Came Aubrey’s prompt reply.
“For your behavior?”
She felt like a parrot just repeating back what she was being told but her brain couldn't seem to wrap itself around what was being suggested. Chloe took pity on her and gestured vaguely around the apartment.
“So you'll feel safe here with us. We won't bite. We promise.”
Beca couldn't explain the way that made her feel. It was in their nature to bite. To feed. To take because they could. And yet for her, they would resist. Had resisted for days even with her leaking blood like a sieve after every injury.
“Oh Chlo…” How did she even begin to explain to them that biting wasn't even on her list of concerns? Beca reached out and took Chloe’s hand in her own, drawing her in closer. “I don't need you, either of you, to follow rules to make me feel safe. I trust you. Safe words for kink on the other hand…well we can get to that later.”
Chloe’s smile was slow and wide and Beca definitely felt her heart do flip flop things she hadn’t felt before. The redhead gave her a quick peck on the cheek and nudged her back into the bathroom.
“Put some pants on, Necromancer, or that talk is going to happen sooner than you think.”
Beca grinned and shut the door on them so she could dress. Not that she needed the privacy but she also didn't want to tempt Chloe into mounting her. Yet.
When she came out Aubrey was predictably hovering with nervous tension by the door.
“If not our behavior then what do you wish to speak to us about?”
Beca took in Aubrey’s small frown of confusion and reached out her free hand to the blonde and led her to bed where Chloe was patiently waiting. It felt better touching them both and she settled in between them, content to just be held.
“Our plan. Which seems like a stupid topic when we're all canoodled up like this. How are you warm right now?”
Chloe giggled at Aubrey’s obvious discomfort at the question and Beca was surprised to see a faint blush rise to the otherwise porcelain skin.
“We fed while you were showering. Aubrey is just a little embarrassed about breaking the fridge.”
“It was an accident.”
“You were drunk.”
Beca's eyes went wide. “Do I want to know?”
“She thought the stainless steel fridge was a can of sardines.”
“It has no handle! I didn’t know how to open it! What kind of contraption has a sealed door with no discernible handle?”
It started as a Muttley snicker that turned into a full on belly laugh that she couldn't seem to stop. Every overwrought nerve she had released its tension and she laughed until she could barely breathe and her sides hurt.
And they let her. Without her needing to explain why her hysterical laughter had turned to uncontrollable sobs. They simply held her between them and weathered the storm of Beca’s emotions with gentle kisses and soothing caresses.
“I'm sorry.”
“For having emotions? Bec, you're totes allowed to have all of the feels right now. You've been through a lot, we all have.”
Beca rubbed her face with both hands and sat up a little bit straighter. Having a break down was a luxury they couldn't really afford. After a second she was able to pull her wits together and face Chloe and Aubrey who were sitting there looking at her like…
The necromancer lifted her head prepared to see at the very least the shadow of cringe in their eyes. But she only found compassionate understanding from beings she never before thought capable of any such thing. It almost started another round of inexplicable crying and she had to look away quickly and clear her throat.
“Thanks. For you know, whatever.”
Aubrey’s head tipped to the side as she considered Beca carefully. She was sure the blonde ws secretly reading her mind with that assessing gaze.
“What? Is…is there something on my face or?”
“I would like to kiss you now.”
It started a sputtering laugh out of her and Beca found herself subconsciously stroking a thumb over spot on her arm that Aubrey fed from. Chloe's gaze tracked the movement and her lips pulled into a slow smile.
“I think we both would like to kiss you now.”
Beca opened her mouth to argue that they needed to plan their next steps, to prepare for the war they would bring to the Council but Aubrey’s warm hand cupped her jaw and gently guided her forward into a gentle kiss. The connection between them swelled at the first brush of lips against her own and it stole her breath away.
She pulled back and blinked owlishly at the blonde as she tried to order her thoughts and regain her focus. The necromancer cleared her throat and opened her mouth again. This time it was Chloe that guided her into a kiss and once again she was swallowed by a wave of magic and emotion so intense she could only make a helpless needy sound until the vampire pulled away.
“Okay rude.”
Aubrey’s brow furrowed in confusion. It was clearly not the reaction she had expected. Beca could feel another laugh starting to bubble up and tugged Aubrey forward into a smiling kiss.
“I didn't tell you to stop, Horny.”
They could wait to plan. Right? The Bloodguard couldn't be that close to finding them that they couldn't take some time for them….right? Chloe’s hand slid over her thigh and flicked her tongue teasingly over the scar she had left on Beca's neck. Fire shot down her spine and settled between her legs. Well. She was probably totally going to die anyway so why not go out with a bang?

Was listening to the Pitch Perfect soundtrack again and the finale got me thinking about further details.
Like maybe that they initially prepare the performance with Lena singing Becca's part, but after Lena pops off and insults singing/music (because she's stressed and can't figure out how to cope with enjoying it so much when she should be focusing on "more important" endeavors), Lena drops out and Kara keeps her distance-- because Lena managed to insult Kara in the process.
So when the song goes to Nationals, Kara doesn't expect Lena to be there. Except with the rest of the group's help, Lena hides backstage and slips on stage with them as they go on to perform. So Kara starts the song totally bummed out-- until she hears Lena start "Won't you, come see about me..."-- at which point her head whips around and her entire face lights up with happiness.
They sing together, grinning dopily into each others eyes, and continue the performance with renewed vigor. When they get to the back half, Lena grins.
"Grab somebody sexy tell em hey--" Lena thrusts an arm towards Kara, who takes it without hesitation and tugs them together with a spin. They're not the only ones who pair off and dance, but they're front and center in this section, and no one can take their eyes off them, even after they spin apart to continue the choreography.
"I put my haaaaands uh-uh-uh-up!" Lena's voice rings out loud and clear. Gone are her inhibitions, her reluctance to commit to a song let alone a person. Kara watches her friend move around the stage, looking as though she were born to it.
"We might not get tomorrow, let's do it tonight!"
Lena and Kara are meant to strike their final poses side by side, but at the very last moment Kara wraps her free arm around Lena's waist, swinging her close. Lena moves with the motion more readily than Kara anticipates-- they nearly bump into each other, and only just manage to hit their final beat facing each other, their hips flush amd chests heaving with exertion.
The applause that follows is deafening. Kara has never heard more than polite clapping for the Bellas since she joined the group two years ago-- this is something else. But even that falls away to nothing as Lena's gaze flickers to Kara's lips.
It's not the right time. Kara doesn't want their first kiss to be in front of hundreds of strangers. She settles for throwing her arms around Lena's neck and hugging her tight as the group releases and begins to celebrate with the audience.
"I love you!" Kara shouts into Lena's ear.
Lena laughs breathlessly, pulling away with joy in her eyes.
"I love you too!"
The words are nearly swallowed by the noise around them, still intimate despite their volume.
Little do either of them know, but a certain older brother sits in the audience, watching them both with a keen eye.

I listened to nearly all of the 3 pitch perfect soundtracks recently and here's the idea I got before falling asleep
The daggers having acapella groups
The girls- The Flying Bellas (like the Barden Bellas, Lyra and Cassidy came up with it)
The boys- The Flyboys (Maverick did it)

Darkest of Nights pt 21
A/N: thank you thank you always to @chloes-yellow-cup for always doing the thing and @kimmania for listening to endless hcs.
Beca
“Are you sure you wish to do this, Little Necromancer?”
Beca looked up at Chloe's dad and flapped her hands under her arm pits in an attempt to dry the copious moisture gathering as they waited for Cahira to let them know the rest of the vampires had arrived. At least. The ones brave enough to accept Beca's invitation to speak.
“What? Face a few hundred vampires that would probably like nothing more than to burn me at the stake?”
He gave a rumble of a grunt and stroked his braided beard thoughtfully.  She could tell he wasn't as afraid of her anymore which was a plus. Probably. Maybe.
“Yes.”
Beca shrugged and finally settled for a meandering anxious pace around the room. She really wished Chloe and Aubrey were there with her now but they had gone to check on defenses. She was pretty sure that was an intentional move to give her time alone with Chloe's parents. At least for the moment.
How could she face hundreds of vampires if she couldn't handle facing just this one? Granted it might be easier if she hadn’t just banged his daughter like a Salvation Army drum.
Okay who was she kidding? She was definitely the drum. This time. Next time she had serious plans to be the one doing the banging. Lots and lots of banging.
Heat rose to her cheeks at Einar's intent gaze and she suddenly wondered if mind reading was a vampiric gift. If so she was screwed.
“I'm sure.”
“May I ask why, Little Necromancer?”
She had to smile at that. There could be worse nicknames.
“Because, Big Guy, I took something from them and I should explain myself.”
“You mean apologize.”
Beca thought about that. There was expectation in his tone and nearly imperceptible shift of his attention that was meant to intimidate. The weight of his age and power flexed around her, making her bones ache. It was impressive and would have worked maybe a month ago.
But she had seen some shit since then. She had done some shit since then. And she knew who she was now. Love hummed through her bond and she stopped her pacing and faced him directly, unafraid. She didn't bother to call up her power to push back, it wasn't necessary. Her conviction that she had done the right thing was enough to straighten her spine.
“I did what I did to save Aubrey. I'm not going to apologize for that. If they don't like it, tough tits. All I can do is explain how dire it was and hope they'll respect that.”
“Respect or fear?”
It was a valid question and she gave herself a moment to honestly answer without her usual sarcasm.
“If I wanted them to fear me I wouldn't bother to explain why I had to do what I did. I didn't want to hurt anyone but to protect or save Aubrey and Chloe I will be ruthless if I have to.”
Einar's power receded in a slow pull and she felt her spine release tension it had been holding. The door opened and Cahira stepped in with a brow raised in question.
“Husband?”
“There is no lie in her words. The Necromancer speaks truly. She meant only to save the Queen.”
“And?”
Beca looked back and forth between them in confusion. She wasn't entirely certain what was happening but Einar let out a great sigh and slumped his shoulders in resignation.
“I'm sorry I doubted you, Wife, moon of my heart, she who is beauty, grace and wisdom. I am a turd.”
Cahira's lips curled into a satisfied grin and she held out an impatient hand until Einar fished a bronze coin out of his pocket and slapped it into her hand.
“Thank you, Husband.” Cahira tugged gently on Einar's beard until he bowed his tall frame to meet her lips in a soft kiss. She released him and faced Beca. “Do close your mouth dear, they'll think you're damaged.”
Beca's mouth snapped closed with a click and she blinked several times trying to process what she had witnessed.
“Okay wait. What's happening right now?”
“Oh this?” She held up the coin and laughed. “Einar and I have been winning this back from each other for a thousand years. A game of ours.”
“And you make him say that every time??”
“You should hear what I have to say when he wins.”
Her laugh was musical and light and Beca was pretty sure Chloe’s dad had just fallen in love with her all over again if his expression was any indication. She could see where Chloe got it from.
These were not the vampires she understood. These were real people that loved and laughed. They weren't monsters. And neither were any of the people she needed to address. They were just people. Powerful people with the abilty to do alarming and fucked up things. But still capable of being so much more than the things that go bump in the night.
“Wow. Okay. So are the vamps all here?”
“They are. Are you ready to address them?”
“I guess. I mean. Yeah. Yes. Yes I'm ready.”
“Come, Beca. Einar and I will be by your side. Chloe and the Queen will be back shortly. Unless you would prefer to wait?”
She wanted to wait. If only for the support she knew she would have. Beca took a deep breath and shook her head. No. She needed to do this herself. Besides who was going to give her lip with the Big Guy looming over her shoulder?
“Let's do this.”
Something glittered in Cahira's eyes. Something like…pride? Beca wasn't sure but she felt like she was doing the right thing. Einar opened the door in the far wall and gestured for her to go first. If she expected a hallway or a buffer between herself and the other vampires she was disappointed.
Beca found herself on a raised platform with more vampires than she had expected staring up at her. Some with curiosity,  some with hostility, most with barely concealed fear.
“Oh boy.”
She looked back at Chloe's parents nervously then back to the waiting mass. She brought one hand up in a tentative wave and seriously reconsidered her choices the last five minutes.
“Hey. So, I'm Beca.”
There was nothing. Absolute dead silence. They stared at her and she stared at them. Neither one was sure who was the predator and who was the prey. She sighed heavily and the vampires closest to the platform eased back.
“Okay this…this isn't going to work.” She walked to the edge of the platform and dropped the few feet to be on their level. “Look, guys, you don't have to be afraid of me. I don't want to hurt anyone here.”
Some skittered back. A few held their ground. One pushed forward with mistrust blazing in her almond shaped eyes. Beca held her ground and waited for the unmistakable swirl of power to crest over her as Einar's had done but it never came. Or rather, it wasn't as expected.
Power lapped up at her, batting gently like a gentle wave. The trailing edge of it tried to stick and cling to her, trying to find a way to overwhelm and influence her but it was too weak and crumbled away like sand with just the slightest push back from her.
Beca frowned when the woman backed up several paces in fear. A few of the nearest vampires that had stood their ground shifted away. She was getting nowhere and fast.
“I don't want to hurt you.”
Repeating it wasn’t likely to change their minds and she realized it.
“You have already done so, Necromancer.”
She looked for the voice in the crowd that had spoken. Bodies parted to allow a vampire in a heavy cloak to limp forward in an awkward shuffle. He was ancient. Maybe even older than Aubrey but there was something wrong with him.
Her head tipped to the side and she reached up to push the hood of the cloak down. Wisps of brittle white hair fell from an already nearly bald pate. Pale waxy skin stretched translucently over high planed cheekbones and a strong jaw. If she had thought the vampires were scared of her, they were absolutely terrified of this one.
Whispers of verskret hissed through the crowd as they backed even further away. She knew that word. Cursed.
“Who are you?”
“You may call me Athan. Do you deny what you have done, Necromancer?”
Beca was fascinated by the power she could feel seeping from him without even conscious effort. But none of it was directed at her.
“No. I did that. I took from all of you and I would do it again if I had to. Not because I wanted to hurt anyone but because the need was seriously fucking desperate.”
“And what could you have so desperately needed with all of us?”
“To heal me. And believe me it was out of desperate need. True death was upon me, I was past the point of healing myself.”
Beca had been so drawn by the vampire in front of her she hadn’t even noticed Aubrey and Chloe’s appearance. A cool hand closed lightly around her wrist and graceful fingers twined loosely with her own.
Chloe's simple touch grounded her and she shook away the thrall of power. Athan's gaze sharpened on her but he didn't push his power. He simply stood there assessing her. His soft hazel eyes drifted away from Beca and over to Aubrey.
“And what could have brought one such as yourself to the brink of death, My Queen?”
Chloe stepped forward, her hand still clasped with Beca's. “The sun, Athan. After full submersion and fresh blood she was still burning from the inside out.”
There were hushed whispers and soft hisses of remembered pain at Chloe's description. The sun was a foe every vampire feared more than anything else. Even curses and necromancers. Athan turned back to look at Beca again, more speculative than before.
“Why would you do that?”
“A lot of reasons. I think Aubrey is necessary in breaking the Council. I think she is honorable and genuinely hates the system of abuse we all suffer under and can make it better. But mostly just because I love her.”
Beca turned her attention to Aubrey and held out her free hand which the blonde took without hesitation. Power pulsed through the room in time with her heart beat and Athan brought a withered hand to his chest with a staggered step forward.
Her power curled around him and caressed his aura making Athan gasp drop to his knees. He looked up at her and reached a trembling hand to her and then pulled it back fearfully and pulled up his hood to hide away from her.
“If what you say is true, and I now believe that it is, then I understand. So should we all.”
He started to ease back into the crowd and Beca felt compelled to stop him. Her magic stretched out to him again wanting to explore and understand his condition.
“Wait! Please don't go.”
The aged vampire turned his head but she couldn’t see his face in the depths of the hood.
“If you think to break this curse, you cannot. Many have tried, all have failed.”
He turned away and slipped through the ranks and this time Beca let him. Now wasn't the time for that but she made a mental note to talk to Chloe and Aubrey about it later.
Vampires stared at her and she stared back. There wasn't much more she could say. It was up to them now, but she suspected Athan's opinion would go a long way in her favor.
“So…we good?”
There wasn't a resounding cheer of support but she didn't expect there to be. It was enough that many of them nodded agreement. Beca let out a deep sigh of relief and looked gratefully back at Chloe when arms slipped around her waist.
“Tough crowd.”
“Hm.”
“This isn't settled yet is it?”
The vampire gave a slight shake of her head, sending soft red curls tumbling over her shoulder.
“No but we don't have time to coddle them. If we survive what's coming we can try again.  For now, leave them to Aubrey and come with me.”
“Okay. Where are we going?”
“To make out, silly.”
Now that was a plan she could get behind. Beca gave their blonde a glance and found her already addressing questions from some of the vampires assembled. Aubrey turned her head and caught her gaze with a quick wink.
“You sure we shouldn't stay and help?”
“Nah, she'll meet us at the garage in a few. Right now I wanna be on you.”
“Well I do hate to disappoint the ladies so I'm in. Let's go.”

and you are not alone in this (1/19)

Summary: When Beca gets the call that it’s time to come home, she’s forced to face all those things she ran away from fourteen years ago, including her former best friend Chloe Beale.
Notes: so here we go again! I feel like I haven’t posted anything in forever, and that’s because I’ve spent the last few months working on this thing. Well, it’s finally finished! Usually I go into my fics with a solid plan but I didn’t with this one. I knew what I wanted the story to be about, and then I just started writing so I could see where it took me. It went in some directions I wasn’t anticipating, but all in all I’m pretty happy with how it turned out.
The full fic is finished, so I’ll be posting a chapter every Monday until it’s all out.
Full disclosure, it's going to be a pretty heavy one. It deals with parental death, and some chapters will contain talk of suicide and alcoholism. I’ll tag each chapter with the relevant trigger warnings, but those are the things to be aware of before you start reading.
It’s also very Beca-centric and two of the major characters are OCs, so if that’s not your bag then feel free not to read.
I think that’s all the housekeeping notes out of the way, so all that’s left to say is enjoy!

Beca gets bored and calls Chloe at work, hoping to tease her, only for it to blow up in her face.
