Red, a look at growth🐼🟠🔴
YO! some time ago, when Disney's newest movie came out on their platform I couldn't help but notice that many of the reviews I got came from gentlemen or adults (mainly men) who said it sucked, full of lame jokes and nonsense that had no head or tail.
So my interest in the movie diminished a bit, of course, I would still watch the movie because there are different tastes and I also heard other reviews saying that it was a cute story of kids learning to grow up.
I totally agree with these reviews.

First of all, yes, it is a kid's movie that has very embarrassing moments but isn't that the point, we all went through that stage, where we would fall in love with someone and do embarrassing things, hang out with our friends and look to be someone our parents would be proud of.

The movie shows an objective fact that some women (not all of us) go through growing up, not even exclusively to women, it's just a story about being someone you yourself are proud of and not being trapped in a bubble forever.

My favorite parts:

The story has many moments that I really identified with and can now look back on fondly. Among those moments we have:
Meilin is a responsible girl and does everything in an efficient and responsible way.

Meilin's moments with her mother, those moments where they both spend time, either at the temple or at home.
Meilin and her friends at school, being them, happy and full of energy and desire to grow.
When the girls go crazy for a concert and that is the moment when they will finally be women.
The moment when they discover that they are short of money for tickets if one doesn't go then none of them will go.
When Meilin discovers that her mother was once like her, they can both accept each other with their flaws.
These are some of the moments I liked the most, I may be missing some.
In conclusion:

It's a good story, it's not a masterpiece but it has a good message and a very nice animation, obviously, it's not a movie for all audiences, but it's a correct one for people who once could be a Meilin.
