Have you heard of Wordle? 🌿FERNS is a 5-letter word. Maybe you’ve been playing or maybe you’ve not heard of it. If you like word games, you might enjoy Wordle! 📱 Players have 6 tries to guess the 5-letter word of the day—usually through the process of elimination 🔤. It’s rewarding to solve the puzzle. 🧩 Josh Wardle created the game for his girlfriend & made it public 10/21. A month later, there were fewer than 100 people playing, but 2 months later the number of players grew to 300K. It caught the attention of the New York Times 📰 which decided to buy it. If you’re curious, you’ll find it on the NYT website 🌐. Lots of people (besides me) are playing & it bonds people from all walks of life who endeavor to find the daily word. 🥳 WORDLE STRATEGIES: 🎯 Start with the same word each time (Mine is a color) 🎯 Start with a different word each time! (HUH?) 🎯 Start with SLICE, TRIED or CRANE 🎯 Start with a vowel-heavy word like ADIEU, AUDIO, LOUIE or OUIJA 🎯 Skip using correct letters when trying to identify 5 usable letters 🎯 Form Words Using Commonly Used Letters. Here’s GameRant’s list from most to least common: E, T, A, I, N, O, S, H, R, D, L, U, C, M, F, W, Y, G, P, B, V, K, Q, J, X & Z 🎯 Use a database of 5-letter words. Is this cheating? Pixel Watch 2 is launching on the same day as the Pixel 8 phones. The wearable is expected to bring several upgrades over its predecessor. For starters, it will bring new security features and use Fitbit’s stress management system that will use body-response tracking to detect stress in the user’s body. It will likely offer the same 24-hour battery life as the Pixel Watch.

As for the Pixel 8 Pro, it will get a 6.7-inch LTPO OLED display that offers QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will be powered by a new Tensor G3 chipset along with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage. It is expected to feature a triple camera setup on the rear with a 50MP primary sensor, a 64MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 48MP telephoto shooter. As per a recent leak, the Pixel 8 Pro will start at $999 in the US.

I made lobster tails for Valentine’s Day🦞. Do you like them? They were OK, but I don’t think I’ll do it again🙄. In any case, I hope you had a great day💝! Recently, a few friends who are blogging on Instagram🤳 have asked me questions about visibility🕵️‍♀️. Independent blogs benefit from a niche📥 & IG can work similarly. Sometimes we love a subject & want to only share that topic🤗. Like, if I see @musicol.mandalas, I know I’ll see mandalas💮. Or if it’s @straycat1957, I expect to see a fantastic variety of tarot cards🎴. If we show too much variety 👨‍👩‍👧 🥘 ✈️, it’s hard for IG to understand who would enjoy our posts, and our content isn’t offered to as many of our friends as we’d wish 🚫. A visual niche helps, but sometimes it’s a head-scratcher🤔. I recently posted a photo of my classic 1976 BMW 2002🚘 . I share it infrequently. It had more traction than any of my posts since last fall🚘 & even landed on the explore page🧭. But WHY? The evidence points to a few things. FOR GOOD TRACTION, POST: 🔝 a good photo of a subject that has a large, devoted audience 🔝 a caption that introduces the image, & 🔝 popular hashtags that are regularly searched I was surprised😲. I included a screenshot of the data in the carousel above📊. The photo was taken last minute as I left a car audio shop in Ballard. I wasn’t even planning to post it🤷‍♀️. Although IG’s algorithm predicts what we want to see🔮, & hides other content, lately, I’m seeing long-time friends who vanished from my feed 🥰. It’s great to see them again! The days of seeing all our friends in chronological order are gone forever, but maybe IG realized we want to see anything our friends post👫. Or could it be the algorithm is getting a bit more human🤖?
