Hello Anon, this is your Oldie Chinese Diaspora Anon™️. The topic of the “Dream Fairy” dolls by DBS is going to be one of those controversies that will not fully die. There are a lot of grounds to cover here.

One thing I cannot do is to “weigh in” in the sense of putting a line in the sand. I prefer to present the facts as they stand; it is up to the individual to make the decision that they believe is right for them. To the best of my ability, I will run as succinct a summary for you as possible.

Dream Fairy is one of the many lines from DBS (DeBiShen Ltd. A Chinese toy factory.) The company works like a Mattel with different lines of dolls. Each line has the same facial sculpt with the differences focused on individually separate fashion designs. Think “different Barbies, same sculpt”.

This company known to plagiarize other BJD sculpts as the basis of their vinyl/ABS molds. The face sculpts from the 1/3 line is plagiarized from AS’s Liu Ruishi

The 1/12 blind box seems to have taken their inspiration from Obitsu. But there are no direct 1:1 “original” found, yet.

There are suggestions that the facial molds were “transcribed” from legit BJD to counterfeit BJD into vinyl. Details are scant, however.

The original 1/3 bodies were highly similar to the YeL0Li (Night L0lita) bodies.The original ¼ bodies were most likely original to DBS. The new 1/3 is an enlarged version of the ¼, with minor changes.

The original 1/6 bodies were found from multiple factories. It’s tough to say who came up with it first.The “original” part of any Dream Fairy doll is the ensemble. Since they do not sell their clothes separately, people have bought their dolls for the clothes.

Best considered as “large Barbies”, their price point is a lot cheaper with similar capacity for customization, which is what makes them attractive. DBS’s history of plagiarizing other dolls has been noted by several different vendors and a good number of doll collectors. Since the release of their MT Blindbox series, several proxies have refused to carry them due to DBS’s history.

If price point is the hook, there are several Chinese MJD companies that are completely original: Xinyi, Kurhn, YeLoLi and Monst are the examples I can think of on the top of my head that are not V0lks. If the facial sculpt is what you are interested in, there are the resin “originals” at a higher price point available. At the end of the day, whether you want to buy a DBS doll or not, the choice is up to you. They are, just as I’ve suggested earlier, a kind of “Controversial Doll”. They are not totally legit but they are also not an out-and-out recast.

As someone said, whatever you do with your money really is your choice. How other folks in the hobby decide to see you is their choice as well. Legality should never be the bottom line when it comes down to morality, after all.

Seriously. I'll be venting about a serious problem in this fanbase which is just not being able to enjoy small things because seriously, if you don't know... Digimon Con is not for big announcements.

It's to celebrate the franchise and promote new things. And really, we had something new in the end -- more details about Liberator, the announcement of a novel version of it with a different protag & mon, the announcement of Digimon Comic website section and more manga coming -- including a new one from Yabuno-sensei.

We had watched the joy of the VAs from Agu-Gabu-Piyo having fun with the new Digivice 25th, also their stories about the works they were involved in the past...

We had the 02TB boys gushing about digimon and games, and SINGING Target together, we had a Wada Kouji medley with the first 4 series' OP songs in a wonderful 25th Anime Anniversary video that made me cry when i saw everything being listed from year by year, Miyazaki's Digimon Evolution medley was also so cool!! And AiM singing Various Colors made me cry inside because this ED is so pretty and happy (also according to her, it's in Rui's POV) it was a perfect way to end the show -- which started with Butter-Fly original sung by Miyazaki, and ended with 02TB which is the current newest Digimon anime entry. The game piano Medley also made me got chills by listening to Survive & CSHM tracks playing on piano ok!!?

And gosh, we had the opportunity to talk with AGUMON in real time!! I'm sad the subs weren't present in this part but man... Agumon said "Obrigado" in the end, and many Thank Yous in different languages. We had him being this cute-like mascot i'm still crying.

Anyway, if you're not aware... I was having a tough time too and this DigiCon brought me joy by watching it. I don't care about big announcements (if there will be one, it will be coming around big events like DigiFes or JumpFesta) i care about having FUN and enjoying small things.

Things like watching Sakamoto Chika shaking a toy with her own voice on it, as an example, or Arthur saying he was hoping that Gabumon and Agumon were on the top 10 of the popularity survey.

Welp, now I feel inclined to tell you about my Monster Hunter oc who I tossed into LU because we all seem to like making crossovers like this.

This oc is specifically based off of the mc from Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, though she has traits from the other games in the franchise. The Stories series is a spinoff from Monster Hunter in which instead of going out to hunt monsters, you can now befriend and ride them. And also use them to hunt other monsters but that's besides the point.

Oc goes by Huntress, her mount is the Razewing Rathalos from the game whom she affectionately named Piyo. She is what is known as a rider, which if you hadn't guessed is the people who ride monsters. They do this by using this funny maybe magic rock called a kinship stone to establish a bond between a rider and their monster. Riders will also refers to their monsters as monsties because it's a term of endearment.

Anywho, Huntress works for the Hunter's Guild as an ecological researcher specializing in monsters themselves. She was out investigating a strange disturbance in a forest only to come across a strange glowing portal that definitely shouldn't be there. Long story short, she was jumped by the shadow, Piyo didn't like that, Piyo almost puts the shadow on a shirt, and now they've both been flung to Hyrule.

Huntress would blend into Hyrule easy enough, being half human and possessing pointed ears from her wyverian side (something I'll explain later). But it's much harder to hide an enormous two ton wyvern that breathes fire and flies at the speed of very fast. So she often sticks to the rural parts of Hyrule, only going into towns or cities if need be and having to hide her monstie just far enough to be out of sight yet close enough so he can hear her whistle to summon him.

But of course, word does get around about an adventurer who rides a flying beast. May or may not be from merchants who have seen her and Piyo flying overhead or the one traveler who was saved by them. Either way, it's not long before the rumors reach the listening ears of the Chain and they find the incentive to follow them.

Okay, I'm tired. I'll tell you more about it later when I'm not.

Had a slightly sad thought about Nozaki...!

Spoilers for VIVANT episode 10!!!

(big spoilers. Don't even try— I'm referring to a big spoiler from the episode too)

So, Nogi bets paid off big time and he ended up with a deeper trust in Kurosu and Nozaki and he cemented his relationships with both of them (as spies). Their bonds are way too powerful. TVs are in danger. Every time I think about what happened and how they all support one another, I'm like "aaaaah my heart this is too beautiful 😭".

Anyways, my point is this:

While it's fantastic that Nogi's trust in his junior, Kurosu, became deeper and stronger, Nozaki was ultimately betrayed horribly by his junior/work partner he trusted (and whom he was likely mentoring or had mentored), and he was left "alone" at the end of the story on that front.

I dunno, if I were Nozaki, I'd be sitting in my big boss' office wondering how I managed to miss the signs as a veteran intelligence agent.

(wait— I wonder if "losing" Shinjo means this is his second failure after whatever it is that happened to Liu Minsheng)

While I think he's a tough guy, I'm sure that were it not for the fact that he's got his bond with Nogi, I'm realizing that he probably would've ended the series on an even far less "happier" note? Idk if that makes sense.

(the ship aside—from an intelligence standpoint, he gained an ally in Nogi and maybe Beppan. And maybe he was willing to lend a hand in covering up Beki's, Batlaca and Piyo's deaths) or maybe he doesn't know and just helped move the Former Public Security official and his family to a safehouse.

Also: best moment with Uehara was when Nozaki was doing his mostest to mess with him and basically told him "I will not tolerate any kind of slander against my boy Nogi." then planted in him the thought that someone from Beppan might do something to him if he's not careful about his words lol. (What I wish his line to him was : With all due respect, sir, I'd seriously punch you in the face. Only I won't because I'd likely lose my job *The Nozaki Laugh*. But seriously though —")

What a troll, Nozaki 😅.

(At least in the end he was able to work and speak with the "true" Nogi. ("In the end, looks like the one who got dragged into the whole vortex was me!") Not only that, but Nozaki and Nogi were able to drop the struggle to maintain their facades that crept up in the last half of the series (and there was that growing distance 😭) and work together as their true selves. I think that's beautiful)

Ok, fine, Nozaki has Tojoh's company over a beer and some good monjayaki. I love their friendship too. Tojoh's probably tried and failed to get him into Ultraman, I bet.

five good things

time for a follow-up! things have improved a bit since I made the last one of these. Let's see...

Placebo were absolutely awesome, they played so many of my favourites, and my friend and I got almost to the front at one side so we could see pretty well too. It was utterly sweltering, and we had to queue for an hour to get out of the car park so I didn't get home until 1.30am and was utterly wrecked for the rest of the week, but it was so very worth it. I've adored them since they first appeared on the scene, and so many of their songs are woven into my soul; it was so good to see them again.

I had my doctor's appointment yesterday, and depending on the outcome of the blood tests I have to have in a couple of weeks (which may explain some of the other things that are bothering me - or they may just be further symptoms of Age-Related Loss of Plot, so we'll find out one way or the other) I ought to be getting onto HRT fairly soon. Which will hopefully sort me out, thank fuck for that. I used to be sunny-natured and happy, but I haven't felt that way for longer than I can remember - I want that back. And then if the HRT doesn't sort me where that's concerned, we can look at other solutions. Phew.

I have a four-day weekend this week, as I did two days at job number two last week (on top of the Placebo gig, it nearly broke me), so I've spent today chilling out and attempting to be less exhausted, having not slept particularly well for days.

I've finally finished (I think!) the reincarnation AU from @piyo-13's glorious artwork, so once that's beta'd I'll get it posted. Super excited about this one!

I treated myself to a couple of Hobbit Lego sets secondhand off ebay, having been inspired by @mastererestor's Imladris adventures (I'm still eyeing the Rivendell set but I want to work up to it, not having done anything but tiny sets for about 35 years) - I have Mirkwood Elf Army, with Thranduil and Tauriel, and Attack on Lake-town with Bard, Bain and Tauriel, so I have both of the bi widower dads :D :D :D and have made a start on the Mirkwood Elf Army, it has a catapult!

We watched the Full Monty TV series over the last couple of days, and it's all cheeky larks but the underlying tale of Horse falling through the gaping cracks in our deliberately austerity-filleted so-called welfare system is utterly, tragically heartbreaking and I cried a lot. Which I probably needed...

I still haven't been out on the bike, because the battery was flat when I went out there last week and it took us a couple of days to get it charged, but it's ready now and I'm getting it MOT'd tomorrow so I can tax it and renew the insurance. So that'll be the first time I've been out since last autumn, and it's only up the road but it'll do.

I'm rereading Fellowship and really enjoying it (it's been so long since I've had the energy for reading an actual book), and I'm also listening to the Andy Serkis audiobook, which is brilliant. He does all the voices (I'm only up to Gandalf telling Frodo about the Ring, so I haven't heard most of them yet) and it's just so enjoyable. Who knows when I'll have time to listen to the whole thing through, but whatever.

Right. That's enough for now, I think. If I can only get some proper sleep I'll be sorted...

Shen Wei’s second eyebrow climbs up his forehead.  They haven’t really gone shopping together since he helped his twin put together his first wardrobe on Haixing.  That had been an experience for both of them, and a realization that though they both had sensitivity to fabrics, their tastes and styles differed.  “Zhao Yunlan likes the way I dress.”

SOFT Shen Wei looks up when he hears a knock at the door to his office and can’t stop the soft smile that creases his face.  “Didi.”

“Gege.”  Ye Zun walks into his office and closes the door behind him before lounging in the chair on the other side of the desk.  Crossing his legs brings attention to the silver boots that complement his lavender shift dress.  Shen Wei feels a warm squeeze in his chest at how comfortable Didi is in his own skin these days.

ALWAYS “Which one are you trying now, Gege?”

“Impatient,” Shen Wei scolds.

“Always.”

That makes Shen Wei snort in amused agreement, and he’s glad that his twin can’t see his involuntary smirk.

My name is Bianca L. Buchanan. I have autism and I’m legally blind. I’m the voice of Piyo and many others on the YouTube preschool webseries of short animations called “Piyo Dreams of the World”.

The series focuses on a 2-year-old (later 3-year-old) hamster named Piyo, who is curious about the world around him. Piyo lives on Yamaguchi Farms with his barnyard friends and his owner, Mariya, a 6-year-old girl.

“Piyo Dreams of the World” is a series of short 3 to 4 minute animations targeted for ages 2 to 6, it teaches both academic skills (such as numbers, colors and shapes) and life skills (like manners, sharing and hygiene). Kids will love the adventures Piyo and his friends go on to know why these things are important.

Sinopsis & Review Gudetama

Gudetama, telur pemalas yang dengan enggan melakukan sebuah petualangan bersama Shakipiyo. Shakipiyo merupakan seekor anak ayam yang baru saja menetas dan dengan penuh tekad ingin pergi menemukan induk mereka.

Gudetama: An Eggcellent Adventure merupakan sebuah seri adaptasi dari seri manga. Seri ini dibuat dalam sebuah perpaduan antara film live-action dengan CGI animation.

Tidak hanya Gudetama sebagai karakter utama dalam seri ini, ada juga Shakipiyo, si anak ayam yang mencari ibunya. Sebagai film live-action campuran, kamu juga bisa melihat beberapa aktor seperti Akiyoshi Nakao, Sarutoki Minagawa dan Serena Motola yang ikut meramaikan seri ini.

Cerita dimulai di dalam sebuah kulkas yang terdapat beberapa telur. Saat satu telur bergerak, membuat telur yang terkena pun pecah yang dikenal dengan Gudetama. Tak lama, telur yang bergerak pun pecah, namun telur itu berhasil menetas menjadi seekor anak ayam yang mengenalkan dirinya bernama Shakipiyo.

Gudetama merupakan sebuah telur yang sangat pemalas. Sementara Shakipiyo atau Piyo merupakan anak ayam yang energik.

Piyo sangat bertekad ingin menemukan ibunya. Dia juga meyakini kalau dirinya bersaudara dengan Gudetama karena berasal dari dus telur yang sama. Oleh karena itu, Piyo dengan semangat mengajak Gudetama untuk mencari ibu mereka.

Shakipiyo kemudian menemukan sebuah wadah untuk membawa Gudetama bepergian mencari ibu mereka. Saat memiliki kesempatan untuk keluar dari dalam kulkas, Piyo pun bergegas menarik Gudetama untuk keluar. domino99

Namun ketika keluar dari dalam kulkas, Piyo menyadari kalau selama ini mereka berada di sebuah restoran sushi. Tentunya hal itu sangat membahayakan hidup mereka, sebab mereka bisa saja menjadi salah satu bahan hidangan di sana. Piyo pun merasa beruntung karena bisa melarikan diri dari dalam kulkas.

Sayangnya, belum lama ketika mereka keluar dari dalam kulkas, Gudetama dan Piyo tiba-tiba terpisah. Kini Gudetama berada di sebuah piring sajian makanan yang berputar dan bisa sewaktu-waktu diambil oleh pelanggan.

Saat dalam putaran itu, Gudetama bertemu dengan beberapa telur lainnya. Kemudian mereka pun berbincang satu sama lain.

Tiba-tiba seorang anak laki-laki memilih Gudetama untuk dimakan. Saat akan dimakan, Gudetama sempat menepis sumpit yang menuju padanya, sehingga anak laki-laki itu pun menangis.

Melihat kesempatan itu, Piyo bergegas untuk menyelamatkan Gudetama. Namun, saat berusaha melarikan diri, ada seorang pemuda yang berusaha mengincar mereka berdua. Piyo pun semakin bergerak cepat untuk melarikan diri. Namun, kondisi di luar restoran ternyata lebih berbahaya lagi. domino77

Setelah akhirnya bisa terbebas dari jalanan, Piyo dan Gudetama berakhir di sebuah ruangan Perdana Menteri. Di sana, Piyo dan Gudetama berbincang dengan Perdana Menteri yang tampak kelelahan dengan pekerjaannya.

Lalu, tiba-tiba Gudetama berkesempatan menjadi Perdana Menteri, menggantikan Perdana Menteri yang sekarang walau hanya sekejap dan kembali melanjutkan petualangan mereka.

Di sisi lain, Piyo mulai tersadar kalau Gudetama merupakan sebuah telur tanpa cangkang yang sewaktu-waktu bisa membusuk. Piyo pun mencoba mencari cara untuk menghentikan Gudetama dari kebusukan.

Walhasil, tidak hanya ingin mencari induk mereka, tapi Piyo dan Gudetama berpacu dengan kebusukan yang bisa menghampiri Gudetama. Tak lupa pula dari kejaran orang yang mengincar Gudetama.tangan judi rtp
