Y’all know those edgy BFDI AUs that all had similar plots about contestants being evil and killing others and it being centered around survival or whatever? Yeah, I did that but with BOTO a few years back. Evil Popsicle. Mildly possessed Pinecone. Shieldy trapped in the dream realm. Broken recovery center. Pizzadog breakup followed by Hotdog dying. Honestly way more fun to do than for BFDI. I had made a few Scratch animation memes about it, my account is long deleted but I think those projects are still out there lol

The story takes place in an alternate universe than the main MCU timeline after the events of "Avengers: Endgame" and before "Falcon and the Winter Soldier"!

Disclaimer: I haven't read the comics so all differences to the main MCU timeline and events are completley out of my mind and I don't know if they are even realistic or not.

⍟ Word Defintion⍟

The Snap is Thanos' snap that made half of the planets' citizens disappear into dust. It happend in Spring 2018.

The Blip (= Tony's snap with the Infinity Gauntlet to get back half of the plane) was in October 2023. This story is taken place mostly in 2024 and deals with the aftermath of the Blip and the returning of billions of people. 

↦ In the MCU they use both words for boths events. But as this is very confusing, I decided to use them for different events as described above.

⍟ Differences ⍟

· Steve Rogers decided to stay with Bucky and help him recover from his trauma instead of going back to Peggy Carter to live his life with her. So he brought back the Infinity Stones and came back as planned

· Sam Wilson remains as Falcon. He and Bucky are not friends yet, but accept each other

· Wanda Maximoff didn't become insane because of Vision's dead. She still lives with the Avengers and grieves in silence. So the whole events of WandaVision didn't happen => But there is a special task force called S.W.O.R.D. that was founded by Maria Rambeau and their main task is to fight againstextraterrestrial threats

· Peter Parker is still known by everybody, so the events of "No way home" haven't happened and the Multiverse does not exist / collapsed 

· Maria Hill is the director of the Avengers and not Nick Fury anymore. Nick is now the director of the S.W.O.R.D task force 

· Clint Barton and his family now live at the Avengers Compound as he realized that is is easier to keep them safe when they are surrounded by superheroes 

· Kate Bishop is part of the Avengers now but has the titel as "Avenger in Training" so she is not allowed to go on missions yet. She has Pizzadog with her and lives in the Compound

· Tony Stark made the final snap with the Infinity Gauntlet and died

· Vision died as Thanos got the Power Stone from him in 2018

· Natasha Romanoff died to get the Soul Stone

Nina Dobrev as Lynn Summers Lynn is the new doctor at the Avengers compound and soon confronted with a lot of problems. When she finds out that Bucky is suffering from nightmares she tries to help. But will he let her help?

Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes The former Winter Soldier is still struggling to find his place in this new world. He's grumpy, secretive and does not trust people other than Steve. Will he be able to open himself to Lynn?

Chris Evans as Steve Rogers / Captain America As new leader of the Avengers he is trying to help people and save the world over and over again. But the biggest fight is to get his best friend Bucky back. To let him get over his time as the Winter Soldier. Will this be possible or will Bucky remain as a broken version of himself?

Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson He supported Steve in every possible way to get his former best friend back. Sam was also by Steve's side when they fought Thanos. But he is still not a big fan of Bucky as he is not sure whether he can trust him or not. Will that change?

There is a fast food place in my town called Pizzadog, where they sell pizza ingredients inside a hot-dog bun.

I got really fucking upset when I learned about it because a pizza is just a frisbee shaped sandwich, then someone had the idea to pick the frisbee sandwich and make it sandwich shaped, now they can ask for double the price.
