contrary to popular belief i have original characters that aren’t the cast of phineas and ferb (first two are made by @herbi-cide but we co-parent) here’s the guys while i’m in webcomic development hell
A small tool carved from a fruit tree seed. Energy to power the enchantment has seemingly run-out long ago, and the method of recharging is unknown - but, based on the appearance, it's very likely that this was once used for detecting magic. Usually, looking through the glass center would highlight areas of higher magical energy concentration present in the viewer's environment, even if they were otherwise obscured to the naked eye. While this form of enchantment itself is highly advanced, the craftsmanship of the item is far less neat or complex than what might be typically seen in similar devices. It may have been made as part of training/practice, or as a hasty replacement for a previous tool that had broken.
realizing my main Type in characters is just absolute fail losers in a tie. doesnt matter the gender just . that fucking necktie is the only thang holding them together
Beam Saber update: here’s the first draft of Sunlith’s frame! I still need to add weapons and design the hatch mechanism that accommodates and connects to his exopod (the floating ‘suit’ some uplifted dolphins wear to get around outside water - if you look closely you can see Sunlith inside the pod!)
I know we all joke about it, but the meme got me thinking about how in Elden Ring Melina comes to help you in battle!! It'd be rad if Dolly could assist with bosses in the Hunter’s Dream :)
the fact that dr. owens knew about henry and still disregarded will talking about The Evil that he'd encountered in the upside down that wanted to kill everyone except for him is so ..... crazy to me lol. he's the director of this lab. he knows what's happening, what has happened, was still working with brenner, knew that the gate was still open and spreading into their world at a rapid pace, and said that he'd been dreading this for some time. the lab records were never destroyed—all of the evidence was there and he was in charge of it. like. holy shit.
and the way he interacts with will versus eleven is so telling, too. with will, he grew a little colder / put up a front when first faced with this information before waving the byers away, telling them not to worry or think anything of it. and then with el in season four, he's chummy with her and has full faith in her from the very start. i don't know if anything would've changed had owens acted when will first told them what happened, but... it just makes everything so much more tragic to me.
will tells them the truth and what is coming and they call him a schizo and want to go ahead with the burn fully knowing and not caring that it will kill him. he's nothing to them. will was right and he wasn't believed, they didn't even want to hear him out until hopper and owens forced them to.
will has always been right there banging his fists on the wall and crying out for help, and yet no one sees or hears him. everyone puts this on eleven and doesn't see that will is right there and that they need him if they want to stand a chance. that he knows things they don't, that he has an advantage that they need but never utilize until it's too late. eleven closed the gate, but will is the one that spied back and told them to in the first place.
like. that's always the problem. they push eleven into things before she's ready and before it's even time, and they never listen to will when he first foretells this story or do anything to help him until it's already way too late. they look to her and only her, when he's always been right there. he has always been "R-I-G-H-T-H-E-R-E", trying with all his might to be seen and heard and acknowledged, and yet... it doesn't work. he rolls the dice, and tries his best, and it isn't enough. it always gets him. always.
something i'm starting to have suspicions about and that i wish i had ever seen discussion of in disordered-multiplicity spaces: the idea that executive dysfunction, combined with the way certain neurotypes respond to it and the unique kinds of sustained, repeated trauma associated with that process, can result in DID (or its variations/cousins).
for a long time i thought it was just a matter of my having shitty memory in general, and i don't doubt that's contributed, but like. 'this is Too Fucking Much. for the sake of self-preservation it is going in the memory hole/happened in a Different Plane of Reality/happened to Someone Else. there are a lot of the latter, and being able to go 'hey who's in charge of this bit/who was around when it happened and was relevant' makes me function much better when i do,' among many other things, sound...... familiar lmao. and i'm starting to feel like the shitty memory is a contributor to that because the part of my brain that's Inclined to Do This has a quick and convenient way to dump this stuff somewhere and hide it from me.
i really, really wish there were more discussion of this kind of thing out there. and i wish it were easier to find resources and tools for working through the disordered part which come from sources i trust (more) not to be ableist, overly pathologizing, and wildly uneducated about this shit in the way that only psychiatric institutions can be. augh.
if u made a picrew would u rather create items based on characters u know, ur own ocs or just cool clothes and hair and things u want ppl to use
fun fact for u a few years ago i started making one but i got tired of coloring the same thing 700 times & didnt know about color adjustment settings so now its just sitting barely finished on my puter.
anyway to answer ur question i would do my options for funsies and not really base it off any charas in particular. but the amount of options i want to give it is a little too ambitious for my own limits.
every day I wake up and it’s just like. gideon nav is still in love with harrowhark and she still can’t admit it out loud. but also she’s confessed it a hundred times.
