"Sir, we were decrypting the enemy craft when what appears to be an enemy booby trap went off."
"A booby trap?"
"Yes, sir. The fighter went haywire, and had I not been able to get control of it and aim the missile at the doors, something worse might have happened."
"Is this true?"
"Uh, ye--yes, sir. That is what happened, no doubt."
🤦♀️😆😂

“Okay, break time is over. Get back to work!”
The droids have breaks.

The Clone Wars S4E7-E10: The Umbara Arc
Me, the whole time rewatching these episodes: “Oh god oh fuck it’s happening noooooo”
*hugs all of the clones*
This arc is intense from start to finish. It’s dark, gritty, emotional, and Umbara as a planet serves as a shadowy backdrop to all of that.
Rex is put in a really difficult position, torn between his loyalty to his commander (who, in this case, is Krell) and to his men. Ultimately, he chooses his men, but it had to have been a really difficult decision.
The most heartwrenching moment of this arc is when the clones realize that they’re firing on each other—it hurts to see that, to realize that Krell cares so little for them that he’d just do that just to have clones die.
Krell calling them by their numbers and not their names is awful. He’s awful.
Anyways, I’m a bit of an emotional wreck at the moment but I’ve gotta get ready for work. I’ll rewatch the Kidnapped arc tonight; see you then!

Fun facts!
The procedure that Dr Loboto received, I do believe was never specified to specifically be a lobotomy, just a procedure of the brain performed with an ice pick (presumably through the eye). The word lobotomy is never used and it can be inferred, but it’s entirely possible for it to have been something else, maybe even something related to where psychic powers are in the brain.
Having said that it may not have been a lobotomy itself, given the timeline of popularity of lobotomies as a reference point, and assuming the game takes place in the 80′s-90′s mishmash Tim Schafer envisioned, Loboto would have been lobotomized around the same time as the fall of Grulovia, in the 60′s as lobotomies were starting to become a hot button controversial issue. That would also place him around the age of Augustus and, assuming his kid is one of the campers, having had his kid at around the same time as Augustus and Donatella had Raz.

Honestly i loved how in da2 i could romance anders and have 100% approval with him and yet tell him outright that my hawke didnt agree with things he said or what he was doing and that wouldnt be at all affected, unlike a certain guard captain who'll punch you in the face if you rightly call her out for actions lol.
The writing of anders leaves a lot to be desired but you can see where he is actually someone that holds himself accountable and holds a lot of guilt and ultimately he is interested in hearing other people's opinions and wont punish you for airing them, and i think thats more real and more important than any character being "flawless".
And this is why it annoys me when people go uwu he did nothing wrong because hes done so many things wrong and openly acknowledged that he has and he has this ability and willingness to listen and all youre doing is erasing that. I dont think it helps that a lot of people miss this in game because they dont want to lose approval but 9/10 times calling him out doesnt net an approval loss and if it does its hardly anything which again, shows that he has no problem with people speaking up and with facing his mistakes.

You know, I don’t entirely understand how Bungie is supposed to get around this supposed sin of putting a person of color in some kind of antagonistic role when 99% of the NPC cast are POC.
Like, in regard to the last two seasons, 1) what non-POC character do you place in an adversarial role who 2) also makes sense for the story that Bungie is trying to tell that season?
Amanda Holliday?
The entirety of Vanguard & City leadership is either Awoken, a POC, or racially ambiguous.
I do not understand how you expect Bungie to be able to tell a coherent story with the characters at hand and still make these folks multidimensional characters with like inner lives and junk.
Like, welcome to an (apparent) downside of having a diverse cast of characters: Occasionally, somebody has to be an antagonist.
