- the delicious sweet potato, cranberry, walnut & chickpea salad I had for lunch IN THE GARDEN bc it finally stopped raining
- the fact that I can do a 20 second side plank now. When i started I couldn't even keep it up a second
- having learned that when I am busy and stressed and feel too tired and cramped for time to run, THAT I SHOULD GO RUN. It's worth the time. I can cope with everything much better after having gone out.
maybe this is an obvious statement but I only just realized it, but you know that thing where you're planking, and the first plank is really easy and the rest are significantly harder? it's because you're going into the rest of the planks from laying down. it's so much easier to start from the crouching position and fall down into a plank than to start from laying facedown on the ground and push up into it. again, if you already know it, give yourself a pat on the back, but if you don't, i hope you find this helpful!
