Mammon’s gifts are always surprisingly thoughtful. He really favored giving you outfits (which were so tailored for your body you had to wonder if he took your measurements and ordered them special), or gifts with sentimental value to your relationship. You’re always guaranteed to get something expensive when he hits the jackpot while gambling, showing that he’s always thinking of you even while indulging in his favorite hobby.

🌻daisy: what is their love language, both giving and receiving?

Mammon is good at gift-giving, he knows what you want and what will mean the most to you, the only issue that ever arises is having the money for those gifts. He’s proven that he knows how to work hard when it’s toward a goal that really motivates him, and making you happy was certainly one he was willing to fight for.

Mammon’s got a little bit of a praise kink and he also loves physical affection, but above all he can’t say he’d ever turn down a gift. The Great Mammon really just likes being worshipped which meant dedicating all your time to him as well, so really, you can expect to give a well-rounded dose of love to your needy demon. He liked to say he wasn’t that spoiled but the fact he was sleeping over in your room, spending all the time he possibly could by your side before you were even dating, had you keeping your opinions to yourself as you couldn’t argue with a man as stubborn as him.

🌻red chrysanthemums: how long does it take for them to say ‘i love you’?

You would think with how tsundere he acts that it would take him awhile to spit it out, especially since Mammon was the king of backpedaling when he thought he was being too mushy. But it’s not like he wants you to think you’re unloved or that he dislikes you, he just has a hard time thinking about confessing his love only to have it thrown back in his face if you don’t feel the same way.

🌻red rose: what turns them on the most? 

Just telling Mammon you need him is enough to drive him up a wall. He always cursed your name because you were so aware that you had him wrapped around your finger, and even when trying to rebel he could never commit because it felt too good to be loved by you. Copious amounts of praise heaped on him has the same effect; he’ll be smug about one or two, but if you keep going he feels the butterflies in his chest shift to a heat in the pit of his stomach and he finds himself craving more than just your words.

Prompt: Date Night

Eddie opens his eyes, straining against the too-bright lights of his hospital room. He’s been drifting for god knows how long, flitting in and out of consciousness after waking up here in perhaps the biggest shock of his life. He really thought he was a goner, thought they all were. The party, Dustin, Steve. Eddie stiffens. God, where is Steve?

“I’m here,” Eddie hears to his right. He can’t really move his head when he tries, but he doesn’t need to. There’s only one person who can read Eddie so clearly.

“Steve?”

“I’m here, Eds. Don’t worry, love, I'm not going anywhere.”

Eddie hums, reaching out a hand in search of his boyfriend’s. He feels it’s weight against his own like an anchor, keeping him from floating away on the tide of pain meds coursing through him.

Slowly, Eddie finds himself slipping back into his body, registers the room around him. There are flowers on the table to his left— a little planter of black and red pansies, his favorite. There’s a light offering of Wayne’s homemade chicken soup on the rolling table by his feet, tea candles with little pieces of orange paper in place of flames.

“Yeah, they uh, they wouldn’t let me actually light them, but leaving them unlit didn’t have the same effect.” Steve rubs the back of his neck sheepishly as he explains.

“What is all this?” Eddie asks. He knows the answer, his chest feels lighter than it has in hours? days? (he really has no frame of reference for how long he’s been here) to see it all laid out in front of him. He still wants to hear it anyway.

“It’s Friday, baby. You had to know I wasn't going to let you miss date night.”
