My dogs my beloved dogs!! The first line of beastial spirit vine soldiers from my LoK AU. Created by Baatar when during experimentation, he discovered the spirit energy after being condensed causes the vines to react strangely to machinery and processed material. Turning the inorganic to organic.
These soldiers are comprised of spirit vines that have mutated in reaction to the condensed activated spirit energy and adhered themselves to the suits. Similar to "mimics" in a way, they can conceal their mouths fully so they're indistinguishable from human soldiers, though very astute earthbenders may notice they neither breathe nor have a heartbeat.

Honestly I am VERY worried about Dandelionfall's kits, the effects of nuclear fallout can cause some really weird stuff to occur. There's frogs near iirc Chernobyl that rapidly evolved to have increased amounts of melanin to help against radiation. They went from bright green to all black in a very short amount of time for evolution, and it's actually really neat imo.
Can't wait for book three, to be honest. I def will start liveposting again once it's complete! Especially since you seemed to really enjoy it. I like talking about stuff I'm reading about but worry I'm perceived as annoying, so it's nice to be encouraged, especially by the author.
"There's frogs near iirc Chernobyl that rapidly evolved to have increased amounts of melanin to help against radiation. They went from bright green to all black in a very short amount of time for evolution,"!!! this!! this is what i'm talkin about. I also have some stuff about trees and plants from siberia from nuclear testing there. it's also interesting that after Chenobyl they found radiation in sheep from Wales but there was no recorded negative effect. it really is just luck of the draw- what mutation is 'natural/'by chance'/would have happened anyway, and what mutation is because of the radiation? what happens to the living cats, never mind those not yet born???
and don't ever worry about ''being annoying'' i can tell you everyone on tumblr loves getting and replying to asks (and those who dont probably dont have them on or just dont response) im so glad you wanna livepost bk3 i will have to start work on it asap!!!!

Ultra-Angel-tober #6 : Radiant
soo i interpreted it in multiple ways
first off as radioactive - which is why i gave the angel multiple arms to the multiple set of wings
secondly as bright, brilliant - thats where the glow comes into place
and thirdy - flourishing and blossoming, dictating the vibe, color fo the wings and additional plants
i absolutly love how it turned out, and am so proud of the shading in this piece qwq!
participating in the Angeltober from @ultrainfinitepit
