The one sad thing about your plant babies growing big, is the moment they no longer fit in that one fabulous planter.

These baby rubber trees' roots needed some extra space so I finally repotted my Ficus Elastica. After some musical chairs, but with outer pots, he now sits in this tiny basket and I think it looks wonderful on him.

Sprenger’s asparagus fern, Asparagus fern plant, Asparagus meyeri, Fox Tail Fern, Emerald Fern all names for this glorious beauty. This plant can attain a height of 2′ to 3′ feet and a spread of 3′ to 4′ feet. Evergreen needle-like leaves on attractive arching stems and fern-like, but this plant is not actually a true fern. So what’s not to like about this beauty, well when the leaves shed you will have a bed out yellow pine needle like carpet on the floor. Over sun exposure causes this plant’s leaves to yellow and drop off overnight. It produces very small white flowers that transition into bright red berries. For some reason I thought it was a cute idea to grow different types of oxalis from seed. Now I have a coffee table filled with tangled oxalis leaves that are looking more and more like alfalfa sprouts 🤦🏻‍♀️ it’s not that I hate growing from seed but it takes up so much space and I haven’t been able to really give them the love and attention I would prefer to provide. I’m lucky that they seem to be sprouting up on their own despite the neglect. I bought them over the summer but was instructed to pot them in the fall/during cooler temps. They ended up telling me when they wanted to be potted because they started sprouting right in the bag I had them in. I wouldn’t consider myself an oxalis expert at all but there are some things I’ve noticed that they seem to love or even thrive in. I notice mine love bright light high humidity and like being moist from humidity rather then wet from soil. I water everything on a weekly basis but I feel like these seedlings could use some extra water during the week. Ain't she a royalty ♡. My Epipremnum Marble Queen gives me so much joy. I remember reading somewhere one calls it a Snow Queen when leaves grow as white as this.

But a lack of chlorophyll can be troublesome for future healthy growth, so I'm watching her closely. As for now, I will simply admire her beauty.

I thought this calathea medallion was a goner. I had her for months and she was gorgeous but then winter came and it was very dry. I tried putting her next to a humidifier, misted her leaves, etc. She just kept dropping leaves though. Finally, I moved her downstairs (to a less sunny location actually) and put her on a pebble tray. Game changer!
