Day 15 of Inktober : Sunflower Magical Girl
I'm really proud of the design and posing of this one. Particularly the seeds petticoat 😋

30 Days of Outlining: Days 8-11
From this
>What details of the plot/characters have you left to discover as you write or revise in future drafts? Why?
I know I’m going to discover a lot as I do a lot of discovery writing. Some of how Ardi discovers things I’ve left to discover. Most of Sachet’s character I’ve left to iscovery. If a relationship will develop between Korin and SIlas. The role Kaitlyn will play at the end, how she feels about things, how much she’ll show up.
For future drafts though— I’ve realized looking over the last 2 books that there’s a lot to build on and add more to. I think focusing on a character arc for nanowrimo is useful as it lets me get to the heart of the story, but I’m hoping to add more complexity and details to future edits
>Create a “timeline” chart that demonstrates the pacing in your story. Describe the pacing trends and how this serves your story. Are there any points you would like to space out or condense?
I’m not uploading a chart, but I have basic idea of the first third of the story being about Ardi deciding they no longer want godhood, and then the last third about regainning it— both marked with pinch points. I don’t have a solid idea of plot points quite yet
>Make a five sentence summary of your story. One for each of the major stages of a story; Exposition, Rising Action, Climax, Falling Action, and Resolution.
Exposition: Ardi navigates their newly-escaped life, conflicted in whether or not they should return or stay hidden and who they need to hide form
Rising Action: Ardi decides to give up godhood, cutting themself off from the flow of knowledge
Climax: Unsure on exact event, but thing boil over and Ardi realizes the true purpose of gods
Falling Action: Ardi regains connection to knowledge
Resolution. Ardi comes out of hiding
>How do you resolve your major conflict, and how does this resolution provide payoff for the built tension?
I’m not really sure how to answer this question. I know because I’m keeping the outlines fairly loose so I can explore while writing, but since it will be character based I’m planning on it leading up to an epiphany about what it means to be a god, to serve the people, and accepting that role that Ardi’s been rejecting
