My villain rankings. Generally, the more charismatic or scarier you are as a villain, the more I like you. 😅

Masters definitely helped bumped up several of these, like RR Giovanni (him causing trouble for the other villainous teams and being such a threat that all the other villains joined in the battle to help bring him down was cool), Lysandre (giving him some much needed development with Sycamore, plus the bonkersness of him becoming the first main villain with a known kill count), and USUM Lusamine. (Giving her more attempt-at-redemption/fixing her damaged relationships development she needed in the original games.)

(I will say Masters made me like Rose a bit more too since he doesn't do anything so extreme, mostly just causes something of a minor political dispute, so Masters Rose is more around the "enjoyable" tier. I always had a problem that the original Rose couldn't just wait a single day, like Leon had agreed to help him, and you choose to jump the gun and bring about the apocalypse anyway without your safety net being there?! Him being the antagonist always just felt so forced when he's not really all that evil to begin with.)

Edit: whoops, forgot that I needed to go into ibis to add Volo since the tierlist I used didn't have him 🤦‍♀️

Her name is Duck and she's a duck who turns into a human. Yes her name remains Duck in human form. Nobody is onto her somehow. In Japanese her name is Ahiru, which is not an actual real name, but is just the word for Duck. So yes she's just Duck. Nothing more to it.

- Elegance of The Switch Blade -

We Havenites; have collected and harnessed energy from the Core and placed them into our best weapon made in history. The sword.

The Switch Blade is an elegant weapon founded in the ancient times of Kingshaven history. As the grand hub of trade and advancements whom; the lesser civilizations will blindly label as Witchcraft.

The Blade takes on the simple form of a regular sword upon first appearance. Concealed to appear like a normal weapon. The unique design to the weapon is the piece of Burning Core fitted at the near edge of the Scabbard. When unsheathed, the weapon takes on one of the abilities of The STAB as shown.

While this weapon on display shows; the Tide.

The other parts of The STAB is just as fitting to the weapon with varying effects. The Switch Blade functions much like a normal Melee weapon that also has the function of a range weapon to fire blasts of the STAB.

The weapon also has a limited charge between its Cross Guard section and the Scabbard. Often requiring it to be sheathed to recharge. On the Pommel, lies the Core Bar that shows the user its current percentage.

The design aspect of the Switch Blade varies from the person's personality. The most common customization is the Scabbard of varying designs with matching pieces on the handle. Its a weapon that is famously given to a Havenite child when they come of age (around 14)

Given that the Blade only holds one of The STAB, it encourages users to not only master their STAB but also learn how to work with others as well.

Proton is Archer's personal sleep paralysis demon. (I like to headcanon that the ONLY person Proton respects the authority of is Giovanni. Anybody and everybody else is fair game.)

Courtney gets bored and will wander around the halls at night, has been known to look over her favorite people as they sleep. Has accidentally startled Tabitha several times.

Cyrus probably gets only a handful of hours weekly, when he sleeps, he just crashes, bed or no bed, sitting down, whatever, doesn't matter. (Tendency to sleep with his eyes open btw. Saturn found him like this once and was quite unsettled.)

The real reason why Luo Binghe's sword is so OP is the fact that Xin Mo is actually a plasma sword.

Yes, a black plasma sword with a lot of history...

Specifically it was once known as the Darksaber.

Shen Yuan turns around and smacks Shang Qinghua with the fan when that particular fact is revealed when a large crowd of Mandalorians invades Luo Binghe's castle to figure out just who now has ownership of the lightsaber and whether Luo Binghe is a worthy leader for them.

"Why the fuck has this world now shifted into science fiction?!" Shen Yuan demands.

But it's to no avail. He can hear in the background of the sound of sizzling meat and decapitated limbs fall on the ground.

"This was one of the drafts!" Shang Qinghua sweats. "Luo Binghe got too OP for everything on this planet... so it was time to start pulling out the aliens, to keep this story going, okay!"

Shen Yuan stares, deadeye, into Shang Qinghua's face. "You were planning on my protagonist getting himself a Jedi wife, weren't you?"

Shang Qinghua wisely shut his mouth and didn't say anything.

"I hate you." Shen Qingqiu proclaimed. He looked up at the ceiling in askance, hoping that he could just pretend that this was all a nightmare.

But it was no use. He could practically hear Luo Binghe brain whirling away in frantic joy at the fact that he could plan another wedding - an interstellar wedding just to proclaim to all the Star Wars people that the two were married.

Damnit.

lasbeams are so criminally underdiversified, like it's usually just a lousy on-off switch

where's the flickering to bypass parries, the variable length, the variable shape (dynamic curve modification!), the splitting into multiple beams, the colour changing (including colours outside the visible spectrum, basically making the beam invisible) etc

there's so many things you could do that arent the inane "add more beams"-thing that actively makes the things worse and dangerous to the wielder

So it’s been like two years almost since I last painted and posted a miniature. I know it’s a Warhammer mini but not sure what it was just a random one that I found. But felt like sharing.

Got to say really looking forward to getting my Redgrass games R9 lamp. Right now all I have is my over head light and a window. My hoot lamp got broken in the move I did last winter and I just have not bothered to replace it since. Any way hope you like the mini.
