TFP bots of your choice reacting to an earthborn bot. This would have some interesting implications given the fact they would likely, like humanity, be considered an 'offspring' or 'spawn' of Unicron or at least have a connection to him due to being earthborn. They also likely wouldn't have any idea of cybertron or cybertronian history and would be one of the youngest bots, probably younger than even bumble bee. All of this is wildly interesting conceptually to me.

This is an interesting idea, I’ll give you that. Idk if I executed this very well though, and I don’t remember all the details of the episodes I set this in. These ended up pretty damn long for HCs, but I don’t think you guys will mind. I’ll try to do a part 2 to this later, there’s probably gonna be more interactions with the bots in that one

•Unicron made you or you were born of him at least, you’re not really sure yourself

•You’re still young and you don’t know about anything the life outside unicron

•You were born in the earth’s core so you’ve always lived inside unicron 

•The dark energon doesn’t affect you like it does cybertronians, since it’s all you’ve ever had in your body, it’s just normal to you

•If you were to use normal energon though, that might have some adverse effects

•Those flying things that work as unicron’s defense system, are also protective of you, because they consider you to be a part of him

•But when they suddenly start acting strange and all heading in the same direction, you decide to follow them

•You always thought there wasn’t anyone like you, because you’d never seen anyone else and you had no idea a place like Cybertron even existed

•So when you see a group of five robots walking around on one of the bridges, with the flying creatures attacking them

•You keep an eye on them, following the group as they advance towards the core

•You’re very interested in where these fellow robots could’ve come from, there must be another place, a place with others like you

•So you followed them and when they got to the door of the core chamber the yellow one noticed you while he was looking around

•He didn’t shoot at you, but he alerted the others to your presence

•You were too curious about them to try to get away, because you wanted to go with them, you wanted to see what else was out there

•Maybe they would take you with them?

•Bee was obviously pretty spooked to see another cybertronian in a place where it was supposed to be impossible

•You didn’t seem to be affected by the dark energon either, even though you looked younger than him and smaller too

•You slowly came out from behind a pillar and approached the group

•They were all shocked to see you and when they noticed you had purple optics everyone but Megatron was on guard

•He doesn’t think you could possibly be a threat, you look small and weak

•You’re actually much stronger than the average cybertronian due to the dark energon, but you’ve never had a point of comparison so you wouldn’t know that

•Arcee was probably the most on guard, because she figured you were another unicron manifestation or something

•You want to ask them so many things, but the flying guard creatures don’t leave them alone, so you command them to do so, which they do even if hesitantly

•You’re not exactly into the idea that they’re going to hurt your creator, but you’re also very keen on getting to whatever else is out there

•Optimus approaches you first, asking if you’re okay

•You look at him a bit weirdly and tell him “Of course, why wouldn’t I be?”

•You talk in cybertronian instead of english, since that’s what unicron knew and what you know too

•They can all understand you of course, but you also speak sort of weirdly and in an old-ish way compared to how they would speak cybertronian

•You’re not going to be able to hold back the guards forever, you can already feel them resisting, trying to break free

•So the consensus amongst the autobots is something like “what in the name of primus is this?”

•Megatron doesn’t really care, he just wants to get the job done and get unicron back to stasis

•You don’t even know where to start with your questions, but the situation changes and unicron takes control of the guards and the fighting continues

•You eventually end up following the remaining autobots through a whirling hole in space, after the two bigger mechs disappear through the same kind of portal

•You’re in some other place now, surrounded by the robots that are all now pointing their blasters at you

•And there are some weird looking little creatures on a platform next to you

How about someone who was recently turned into a Cybertronian and Team Prime tended to and comforted them? They have a lot of adjusting to do! 👀

TW: A bit of implied disassociation because, holy shit, suddenly you're a giant metal robot and that's kinda hard to wrap your newly non-organic brain around.

Team Prime comforting Reader, who just got turned into a Cybertronian, would include...

Optimus reassures you from the first moment that you have a safe home with Team Prime, should you choose to stay with them. Of course, you do. He makes sure you have the time and space to adjust and be comfortable with your new body before jumping into anything. He's just there if you need him, which some days is more helpful than everyone's else's efforts to offer unsolicited advice right off the bat.

Bumblebee helps you adjust to having wheels by challenging you to races that double as training whenever possible. He is almost certainly going easy on you, but nobody ever tells you as much.

Bulkhead is the first to realize that maybe you just really need a damn hug right now, if only because he's not very good with words. He hugs you and reassured you that it will be okay, and you're amazed how warm and fuzzy you feel afterwards, even though you're fairly sure your new body doesn't actually feel such minute temperature changes.

Ratchet tries to be "comforting" by explaining how your new body works... in detail that goes way, WAY over your head. But eventually, you get him talking about Cybertron's history and culture, and realize that your two species aren't all that different after all, which helps more than an anatomy lesson ever could.

Smokescreen is quick to remind you that you don't have to go back to your boring human school/job/house/whatever. Depending on how much you liked/disliked your old life, this is either incredibly helpful or incredibly irritating. If you get upset with him though, he's quick to apologize, and it's hard not to be comforted by that well-meaning smile and a servo patting your shoulder.

Arcee might somehow be even more protective of you than she is of the humans - she knows what happens when bots overestimate how much they can handle, and she figures that's really easy to do when you go from being a tiny, fragile human to a giant robot. Sometimes it's hard to hear her remind you that you're still mortal, but she means well. "Okay Mom, I get it."

Wheeljack, like Bulkhead, isn't very good with words, but he's also not very good with affection. What he can do, however, is listen. He's there the first time you get frustrated with the rest of the Team - not because they truly did anything wrong, but because being cramped into a tiny base with people you've just met will irritate anyone - and he never breathes a word of what you vented to the others. The Wreckers had their spats too - he knows you'll all be cool at the end of the day.

Oh Primus help Ultra Magnus he doesn't have a comforting servo in his body, but at least he's honest about that. In fact, he's the best bot to go to when you're ready to have things less sugarcoated.

Knock Out doesn't understand what the fuss is about - why would anyone ever want to be a squishy, gross organic when they could be Cybertronian? Humans couldn't turn into cars, for one, and couldn't be polished. He gives you a fresh coat of paint and polish and tells you how much better you look now - it does help, in a way. Being able to pick out new paint makes you feel a little more like your new body is really your body.

But honestly? Your biggest comfort might just be Jack, Miko, and Raf, if only because they will remind you any time you so much as frown just how cool being a giant robot is. And then you remember, yeah, it is pretty cool, actually.

Buddy was starting to think that maybe these little portals were going to become a thing for her. If it was, she was going to start a personal log for it.

Earlier…

The Decepticons had found the location of their base.

They needed to leave.

Optimus was instructing everyone to go their separate ways until they could regroup.

To avoid any call to attention, each Autoboot was to go their separate ways.

That meant Ratchet and Buddy would be separated.

Buddy was nervous being away from her family.

Away from her father.

Buddy holding Ratchet’s servo as Prime activates the groundbridge.

Ratchet’s hold tightens a bit as the swirls grow brighter.

Buddy takes one last look as she looks at the Prime in front.

She slowly let’s go of Ratchet’s servo and walks to the portal.

She takes one last look at her family before running through.

If she went any slower, she would have surely turned back.

She stepped into a mountainous terrain. Perfect for hiding from anyone.

Buddy spent two weeks in the rock formations, constantly looking out for anything familiar or any contact.

She did cry a couple nights wondering what had happened to her team and father.

She missed them all dearly.

That’s when she saw another portal.

Too shocked the portal sucked her in without a second thought.

When Buddy woke up, she looked at an unfamiliar ceiling.

A medical room’s ceiling to be exact.

She slowly lifted her helm.

“Don’t do that. You hit your helm hard when you came in through the portal.”--Ratchet

Buddy turning towards the voice to see… Ratchet?

“Ratchet?”--Buddy

Ratchet turns around and walks towards her with a data pad in his servos.

“I’m guessing you have a Ratchet in your universe.”--Ratchet

Buddy nodding slowly.

“…You’re taking this strangely well. This your first time dealing with this type of thing?”--Ratchet

“Actually, I have dealt with dimensional stuff before. Though they came to my universe instead of me to theirs.”--Buddy

First Aid, Ambulon, and Velocity walked into the room.

“Oh! She’s awake. I’m First Aid and this is Ambulon and Velocity.”—First Aid

Ambulon waves as Velocity gives Buddy a warm smile.

“Wow… I haven’t seen another medical bot in forever.”--Buddy

“What do you mean by that?”--Ambulon

“In my universe it’s just me and Ratchet.”--Buddy

Ratchet now looking concerned.

“Just you and my alternative? What group were you two sent to?”--Ratchet

“Group? We don’t have a group. It’s just the last eight of us.”--Buddy

“…Eight as in a squad, right?”—First Aid

“Eight as in the only Autobots left.”--Buddy

Ambulon drops his datapad, Velocity lets out a large gasp, First Aid and ratchet flinch a bit.

Ratchet places a servo on Buddy’s shoulder.

“Well, you’re safe now kid. At least until Brainstorm finds a way to take you back.”--Ratchet

Buddy nods and vents a bit.

“What’s your designation?”--Velocity

“Buddy.”--Buddy

The medical team raised an optic.

“Buddy?”—all the medics

Buddy crosses her arms a bit.

“My first father gave me it. Before the war started.”--Buddy

“First father?”--Ratchet

“The war? That’s been over for a while now.”--Velocity

Buddy slowly moving her helm towards Velocity.

“What…”--Buddy

“The war is over in this universe kid. Megatron surrendered.”--Ambulon

CLANG!

Buddy faints on the med slab.

“…”—All the medics

“At least she was here when she fainted.”—First Aid

“Kid, appreciate the optimism, but now is not the time.”--Ratchet

Eventually when she recovered from the shock, Buddy put on a brave face and followed Ratchet and First Aid to the main bridge.

Ratchet felt Buddy hold his servo with a death grip when she saw Megatron, but he had to give it to her, she had a pretty good brave face.

She even managed to take her servo out to shake it to the former war lord.

Megatron, a bit surprised, shakes his servo.

“Thank you…”--Megatron

“Buddy. My designation is Buddy.”--Buddy

“Buddy? That sounds like an earthy name. Were you named on Earth?”--Rodimus

“No sir—”--Buddy

“Please call me Rodimus, Rodimus Prime, Co-captain of the Lost Light.”--Rodimus

Buddy’s optics widen as she lets go of Megatron’s servo.

“Prime?! You’re a Prime!?”--Buddy

Rodimus puffing his chassis a bit.

“Yes, I am—”--Rodimus

“Is Optimus okay!? What happened? Is Orion okay?!”--Buddy

“What—”--Rodimus

It was going to take a while longer than expected for the portal to Buddy’s dimension to work, but Buddy didn’t seem to mind it too much.

Yes, she was worried for her family back at home.

But this beat staying alone in the mountain range.

Buddy naturally met Drift soon enough after spending so much time with Ratchet and Rodimus.

Drift and Buddy got along like a house fire.

Buddy got excited to see the samurai bot every time he came by the med bay.

“Iffy, its kind of hard for me to get. But I’ll get it sooner or later.”--buddy

Drift accidentally stepping on a wrench.

Meanwhile Ratchet on the other side of the med bay.

“…Why do I get the sudden feeling of pride?”--Ratchet

So many bots found themselves starting to get soft spots for the new member of the Lost Light.

And it wasn’t intentional.

Buddy was one, soft spoken and gentle in nature. And two was the youngest bot on board.

It was only natural that Buddy would get some special treatment.

“What else do you want to know?”--Buddy

“Your fuel levels were pretty low when we checked, care to explain?”--Whirl

It was a tearful set of goodbyes from everyone.

Especially from Ratchet and Drift.

“Yeah, yeah, now go on. My alternative is waiting for you.”--Ratchet

Buddy smiles and jumps into the portal.

When she got out of the portal, she was back in the mountain range.

This time her comms and messages were flooded with unread messages and missed calls.

Buddy let out her SOS button and sat down on a nearby rock.

She would be with her family soon enough.

Sorry this is so late but I’ve got so much going on I’ve ended up going through my requests at a snails pace lol.

I haven't done transformers requests in 3-4 years so hello pls don't beat me up over this but here we go anyway:

Warnings: Character Death (Reader), Heavy Descriptions Of Gore And Violence, Themes Of Grieving And Depression

Autobots: (This is mostly Optimus-centred but I included most of the Autobots reactions because this first part was already too long to repeat for each separate character – I’ve also made it platonic)

Also PLEASE keep in mind that I’ve only seen short clips of G1, which is why I don’t write for them often, so the characters may seem a little OOC – if they are I apologise but it’s the best I could do

Ooooh boy, they’re not gonna like that

Let’s say you’re Optimus’s bestie (along with the other autobots ofc)

And let’s keep in mind that G1 Optimus is not as calm/ level headed as TFP Optimus and not as ‘death/kill/angry/rage’ as Bayverse Optimus

So he’s not gonna go round on the battle field murdering left right and centre

But he’s also not gonna just stand there

He’s more likely to turn towards the loud gunshot behind him and watch as your body hits the ground and take a moment

Like it’s not gonna click instantly

He probably thinks you’ve been shot in the leg and he waits a second for you to scream or writhe around in pain

But then your body lops to the side and he sees your eyes frozen wide in shock, with a gaping bullet hole still sizzling and steaming away in the middle of your forehead

And when I say it hits them all

It hits them

HARD

Optimus sort of just stumbles for a moment cuz he can feel every part of himself short-circuit

He also thought his audio receptors had stopped working

But no

It’s the battlefield

It’s dead silent

Everyone seems to have just stopped

He can’t see (cuz he literally cannot take his eyes off your body) but Prowl and Ratchet are nearest

And they’re desperate to run to him but the fact that he’s so still

Ratchet doesn’t dare go near you for a hot minute because it’s not normal for Optimus to be still for that long.

Prowl’s too busy trying to see who shot you, and eventually he spies the steaming barrel of the gun from across the field and he’s instantly seeing red

The decepticon that owns said gun doesn’t look any better

You can practically hear him from how much he’s shaking

Eventually, the dead silence is broken

“What did you do?”

It’s Megatron

He might be Optimus’s sworn enemy

But he knows when to not cross a line

As in murder Optimus’s closest friend

Megatron only murmured it since he was only frozen in place a few metres away

But it was loud enough to break whatever spell Optimus was under

Both decepticons watched in terror as Optimus’s head snapped towards them, his optics wide and glowing brighter than ever

And you know what’s even worse?

His face guard is gone

Sheathed away and full face on display

Now, let’s clarify that you, are the only person in the existence of ever, to know what he looks like under the mask

And the fact that everyone can see his full face right now shows exactly how out of control his emotions are right now

He’s heaving, he’s shaking, and there’s coolant streaming down his face because guess what cybertronians can cry

In his millions of years fighting wars, Megatron can’t recall a time he’s ever seen such despair on a bots face

Let alone on Optimus

The sounding of creaking metal brings everyone’s attention back on Optimus

And it takes a moment for everyone to realise where the noise is coming from but soon enough they watch as his servo tightens even more around his axe, the creaking noise becoming louder

And all of a sudden everyone’s like:

Oh shit

The decepticon that shot you is like

Shit shit shit shit

And Megatron accepts he’s gonna be a Con down after today because looking at the state that Prime is in he knows it’s not worth it

He looks to the Con who is pleading for help with his eyes and just shrugs

“I think you’re on your own now :)”

Megatron along with everyone else takes a step back as Optimus begins to move

He’s not running, no

Just walking

His optics not moving from the con in front of him as he strides over.

Eventually the con drops his gun with a cry and frantically runs into the woods behind him

But Optimus keeps his speed at walking pace

Which is even more terrifying

Megatron just moves aside raising his hands in surrender as he passes

Because a heaving, blank-faced, mask-less Optimus unconsciously dragging a weapon behind him is not something he wants to try and pester right now

Soon Optimus disappears into the woods after the Con

And everyone remains silent and unmoving as they listen

Pedesteps every now and again are heard from within the trees

Minutes pass and no one is yet to move, too occupied with straining their audials for a noise

Though it isn’t long until everyone flinches as a terrified shriek rips through the air, causing the birds to scatter

A string of frantic pleads of help follow

Until they are replaced with screams as loud clangs of metal on metal are heard

But soon the screams are drowned out by the clangs and soon enough the sounds of the Con are no more

But the clanging doesn’t stop

It just keeps going in a steady rhythm

Until one final loud smash reverberates through the air

And it is silent once again

Everyone else takes this as their cue

Megatron instantly transforms and takes off

And it isn’t long before the rest of the Decepticons follow, leaving the Autobots to themselves

The following silence is soon broken as Ratchet finally moves towards your body

Wiping the coolant that won’t seem to stop streaming down his face, he kneels down to scoop your lifeless form into his arms

Prowl drags himself over to you both, his pedes never feeling so heavy

With a dark solemn look on his faceplates, he stares at your corpse in the medics arms

After a moment, he slowly lifts his servo towards your face, where your face is still frozen in a terrified expression

And as gently as he can, he takes two digits and places them above your optic lids before sliding them closed

That seemed to be a tipping point for Ratchet as he broke down in heaving sobs

His frame trembling as he tried to keeps both himself and you balanced as everyone around looked at him in both surprise and pity

This is a first because Ratchet is probably the least likely to react so emotionally to death

He been witnessing it almost every day for the past few million years after all

But you were someone special

Someone he thought would be the last person to die so suddenly

Someone he thought he would have time to save, and time to grieve

But that’s what war does

It has no mercy with anyone

No matter who someone is and how special they are

And Ratchet thought he had come to terms with that idea

But the scene he gave showed everyone he hadn’t quite accepted it fully

Prowl wanted to break down too

He wanted to scream into the heavens and beyond, cursing out those who took you from them but also hoping you could hear him

A sign to show that you were still here with them

But he knew it would prove useless

And with Ratchet gone too far into his own mind

He knew it was his turn to be the level headed one

Now wasn’t the time to flip tables and punch walls

He didn’t want to show his emotional instability in front of the others

So he joined Ratchet by his side, a servo slowly soothing up and down the medic’s trembling back struts.

He noted that Optimus still hadn’t returned from the woods

But that wasn’t who he was concerned about at the moment

As if on cue, three sets of bouncing footsteps along with energised voices were heard as they got nearer

Everyone tensed at the sound, and slowly turned towards the outstretch of cliff nearby where the voices owners would soon be revealed

Prowl left Ratchet’s side after one last reassuring pat, leaving the now slightly calmer bot to cradle you

Turning the corner, he was met with two bright sets of yellow and one red

Bumblebee, Sideswipe and Sunstreaker had returned from their reconnaissance, playing and shoving at each other joyously after a seemingly successful mission, ready to hear what had become of the fight they missed

Though that all halted when they caught sight of a silent Prowl who was suspiciously not scolding them for returning so late

Coming to a stop, they eyed him, Sideswipe talking first:

“We just saw Megatron and his goons flying away! Did you flip enough tables to scare them off or something?”

That set the three of them into another fit of giggles

But coming to a stop again at the sight of Prowls door wings not springing up in frustration like they usually do

“Say Prowl, what’s got your tailpipe in a twist?” Sunstreaker piped up

Prowl opened his mouth, and got exactly one vowel out before going silent again. He did this several times before eventually giving up.

Ok this was different

Prowl always has something to reply with

“What happened.” Demanded Bumblebee

Despite being a joyous bot, Bumblebee knew when it was time to be serious, and Prowl being lost for words meant that only the worst could have happened

Prowl tried to reply again, but his voice box betrayed him for a second time

Without a second thought Bumblebee strode ahead, brushing aside Prowls outstretched servo and rounded the corner

At a first glance all he could see was every bot crowded around something, but when he called out they all parted to reveal something he wished he could never see

A pained cry of despair echoed throughout the forested valley, and Sideswipe and Sunstreaker didn’t hesitate for a second as they sprinted around the corner to their friend with Prowl hot on their heels

The sight before them was the one thing they never wanted

Bumblebee was being held back as he tried to reach for whatever Ratchet had in his arms, howling and crying out as he stretched his arm as far as he could

The two bots rushed to try and help the others in restraining him, but both stumbled in shock as they caught sight of your lifeless corpse

Soon the bots had to be divided as they wrestled the three young bots that were wailing in anguish for their friend

Bumblebee had given up at this point, his head on Prowls shoulder as he stared at you with a glazed unmoving expression

The twins were worse off, crying and screaming in everyone’s faces until their voice boxes gave out, demanding what had happened and why they weren’t able to save you, why Ratchet wasn’t able to save you, but all the bots and the medic could do was look down to not make any further eye contact.

Not long after the screaming match another set of footsteps were heard getting nearer, and a hush fell over everyone, including the twins after pleas from the others, as they all stared at the silhouette emerging from the foliage

As the bot moved into the sunlight, everyone’s optics widened at the sight

Optimus had returned, but he was barely recognisable

Well

You could still tell it was him

But his paintjob was almost unidentifiable

Blue and red peeked through the streaks and smears of pink and magenta, the energon from the unlucky con splattered all over his frame

The worst parts were on his axe and up his arms, his paintjob covered almost entirely with energon still dripping from those areas along with chunks of metal that slowly slid down his frame, looking suspiciously similar to the con’s paintjob

The most horrifying part, though, was his axe

Which looked like it had come straight out of a horror movie

Through the energon and bits of metal that covered the blades, one half seemed to have bent, the blade curving in a way that would fit a cybertronians head shape after hitting it with the force of a mountain

Which is probably what happened

It’s also probably what made that extra load bang at the end

But no one really cared about that

They were too busy trying to figure out what Optimus would do next

Which was a bit difficult considering he was just standing there not saying a word and just staring ahead into the distance

A beat passed before shuffling was heard and Bumblebee broke away from Prowls embrace and rushed towards the Prime

Despite everyone wanting to stop him, they were too scared of going near Optimus at this point

Reaching Optimus, Bumblebee threw himself around him, not caring about the height difference

This seemed to bring Prime out of his trance, half lidded optics looking down at the smaller bot

Though it wasn’t long before Optimus gently pried Bumblebee’s servos away, holding them in his own

The bots watched albeit tense as the taller bot stared down at his smaller companion

All it took was for Bee to look up whilst blinking back tears of coolant for Optimus to drop his axe with a clang and scoop him into his arms, their helms buried into each other’s neck cables, and Bumblebee’s sobbing started up again

After a minute, they pulled away from each other, and Bee tried to say something through the hiccupping of his voice box, but the Prime stopped him with a servo on his shoulder and a small smile that was far from reaching his optics

Which everyone could see since he had yet to re-engage his mask

But they made sure not to bring it up

Soon Optimus was back on his pedes and picking up his axe, gently leading Bumblebee back to the group

Reaching Ratchet, he placed a servo on his shoulder

“Let’s get them back to the ship old friend."

Decepticons: (This one’s a bit shorter I’m afraid – I struggled with coming up with anything for anyone else so this is more headcanon-y)

Warnings: Character Death (AKA YOU), Heavy Descriptions of Gore, Themes of Grieving and Depression.

Now with the decepticons it can be a little different

Depending on what kind of relationship you’ve formed and with who

The Autobots are all tight knit in some way

Whereas with the cons

You could’ve been working with them for eons

But if you’re just another soldier that has been recruited

Then those higher up aren’t gonna bat an optic

They might notice your posts being replaced

But that’s it

However

If you’re higher ranking and have formed some type of relationship with them

Then things are going to go down differently

Soundwave would be inconsolable for a while

The only ones allowed near him were his minicons

Who would scuttle out his berthroom to grab some energon for their robodad, before quickly disappearing back into the dark room

He wouldn’t come out until Megatron demanded entry

And the minocons along with a few others would wait around the corner in the corridor

Tying to get within earshot but failing nonetheless

Megatron then walked out, not bothering with the troops who scattered as soon as he appeared

It would be another day before Soundwave would emerge

But he wouldn’t answer anyone about how he was

He simply got on with his tasks as he did before

Overworking so much that he would have to be dragged to recharge

Life would resume as normal

But during his weekly spying sessions through the security cameras

Starscream would note the pauses the quiet con would take

Each time in the exact same spot

Standing in front of the doors to the comms room where you had worked

Staring in as if he was looking for you to spring out on him

But you never did

Speaking of Starscream

It’s a bit of a 50/50 with him

You could be any rank

And considering how desperate he is to overthrow Megatron and lead the Decepticons

There’s a chance that he could be so obsessed and caught up in his scheming

That he just doesn’t have the spare time to get to know you or basically care about you in any way

But if we went with the other half

And you were someone he had befriended and roped into his overthrowing plans

Then your death would throw him off track big time

It would take him forever to comprehend the fact that the one con he could trust properly on his ship was in pieces that were now drifting somewhere through space

To the other cons he was just being himself after your death

So just annoying

Complaining how he now had to figure out how to achieve the tasks he had set you for universal dominance as well as his own

But the heaving sobs and wails that echoed through the ships corridors late at night said otherwise

Ravage made the unlucky mistake of walking in on Starscream as he curled up underneath his desk

Though not much time was spent inside as Ravage high tailed it out of there, narrowly dodging something being thrown as the seeker screamed for them to get out

Skywarp and Thundercracker had a hard time as well

Feeling the immense grief flowing through the bond of their trine mate’s spark as they watched him brush you off as just another accomplice in front of everyone else

Now

Onto boss man

Megatron would practically explode

He would be throwing himself into every battle and every autobot he can get his servos on

The one commander, apart from soundwave, he could trust with his life

Gone

In a puff of smoke

Well..

More like an explosion

AKA you were blasted to smithereens before he could pull you free from the collapsing power reactor

He would be frozen in place, your decapitated servo still grasped in his own

Bits of wiring and armour plating surrounding him on the floor

Along with the pink flames of your energon that had ignited as it hit the burning debris

He doesn’t quite remember what happened next

All he could recall were flashes of the bodies of other autobots as he tore them apart

And he found himself sat in the medbay, glaring unfocused at the metal floor

And now, in his berth room eons later, he still finds himself staring at the floor

Feeling as useless as the glass case that sat upon his shelf

Where a single servo laid, refusing to rust

TFP reacting to you coming to the base with an injury (more specifically a leg injury)

Authors note: I may or may not have fell through my porch (stop laughing how dare you) and injured my leg rly bad, i am in pain lol and this is how im coping

Optimus Prime/Ratchet:

Optimus was working and discussing something with Ratchet when they saw you hobbling towards the stairs like some elderly person

Immediately asked what was wrong and if you're alright

You nod and wave it off as nothing, but your hesitation to walk up the stairs said otherwise

Once they realize something's up with your leg, Ratchet quickly goes into medic-mode and Optimus wants to know what happened, how it happened, and if your ok

Now you have two old bots asking a billion questions at once

After you've sat down on the bottoms steps and reassure them you're alright, you explain what happened

Both of them are like :0

Ratchet goes into medic-mode AGAIN, grumbling something along the lines of "how have humans survived this long" and "cannot believe humans use wood for architecture when it's such a safety hazard"

Optimus is calmer now knowing that you're ok, but still watches as Ratchet makes sure you're 100% not dying

Eventually they settle down, and lift you up very carefully to the couch area where you can rest

Don't you even THINK about touching those stairs.

Bumblebee:

Freaks out for a second

*panicked beeping noises* "WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU FELL THROUGH THE FLOOR WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR LEG ARE YOU OK!!??"

You calm him down, explaining that it was just your leg that went through and all you got were a few splinters and some nasty scratches

He'll do whatever he can to make you feel better

Video games? Absolutely !! TV? Yes ! Taking you on a drive? Yesyes

Figures that if he keeps you busy (but off your leg), it'll distract you from the pain

and it works, but you do eventually need to rest and he'll be there if you need help with anything

Arcee:

"You what"

Kind of the same reaction as bumblebee but 10x calmer (at least on the outside)

On the inside she's worried bc you just told her you hurt your leg, yet you're WALKING still (wouldn't even call it walking, more like shakily limping around)

Arcee's not gonna baby you but she is gonna make sure you're ok throughout the day

Which means she's probably gonna stick by you a lot more

You don't mind it though, the two of you chat and chill most of the time

If she has to go on a mission while you're still recovering, she'll put you on the couch in the base and says if you even think about moving she'll fuck up your other leg (not really ofc but her "arcee-ness" tone makes you listen anyways)

Bulkhead:

Sweet bot i love him so much <33

You explain what happened in great detail and if cybertronians could get queasy, he would most definitely be

If Miko was there she would be all ears though LMAO

"Was there a lot of blood???!!!" "MIKO!"

Ofc asks if you're ok and how long it'll take until you get better

Probably'll ask Ratchet or June if he can do anything to help, and June says to make sure you change your bandages every few hours, and put medicine on so there's no risk of infection

Bulkhead states that humans need to be wrapped up in what the kids called "bubble-wrap" 24/7

Ratchet agrees

Starscream x Reader

Brush it Back

It has been a while since you first ran into Starscream. He's rude and loud. An overall foul individual. You normally wouldn't bother with such a person. Except.. he's also a giant supposedly alien robot.

Obviously, you kept coming back, if only to look at him.

You're pretty sure he was going to kill you the first time, but in a pathetic attempt to protect your life, you complimented him.

He liked it... you think.

He doesn't like you, you assume. Sometimes it seems like he does. But.. then he'll call you some sort of expletive in an alien language. So you're not too sure. But he doesn't kill you, at least.

Currently, you're sat on a large tree root as you watch him pace. He vents his troubles to you. Whenever you meet up, you can barely get a word in.

He doesn't touch you. He thinks you're sticky, squishy, or… something like that?

At times he switches to different languages to better express himself. You have no idea what he's saying, but it doesn't really matter. You feel like a therapy animal or something. Maybe that's what you are to him?

"Are you even listening, human?!" He flares up, his voice growing particularly nasally as he yells. That's another thing about him, he can speak totally ASMR worthy at times. But other times.. he sounds like this.

"Well?" He taps his pede, shaking the ground and causing you to feel slightly intimidated.

"I'm listening, I promise. You just switched to another language.. again.. so I couldn't keep up." You try to sound placating, so he doesn't throw a fit.

It seems to work because he just huffs and looks off to the side.

There's a few minutes of no movement and awkward silence, but then.. he bends down. You're not sure why at first, but then you see his large servo reaching for you. You yelp and quickly back up. "What are you doing?" You exclaim, unsure if you've upset him or not.

"Oh relax, pitiful mammal. Just hold still." He doesn't grab you, he just reaches for your bangs and flips them back with one of his long and sharp claws. When your bangs flop back in your face, he scowls.

It would've been sweet, or friendly if he weren't giant and scary at times. Sometimes he's funny, but he's still.. him. And rude.

"Why must these strands defy me.." He mutters to himself. You pretend to not hear it. Because the way he refers to your hair 'defying him' is.. absolutely hilarious.

"I can brush it back, next time." You offer, but his scowl just deepens.

"Don't seek to cater to me like some organic youngling!" He flares up, but then he slackens slightly. "That's not the point, fleshbag." He grumbles, almost a growl.

It makes you wonder if he just wanted to play with your hair. But you don't ask. You just sit and watch as he stands back up and wiped imaginary dust off of himself.

"You better not leave, got that human?" He sneers.

You're not sure if he cares or not. Maybe he's just lonely and desperate. But you nod, and that seems to be good enough for him.

I just wanna say I really liked your Optimus father figure headcannons and Ratchet grandpa figure headcannons! It was really nice!

I was wondering if you can do a oneshot of those headcannons with a Non-binary reader? I think it'd be really wholesome and nice to see ^^

I was staring at this ask for a very long time and man I wish I had time to answer it quicker, because it hits some buttons. I'm happy you liked my headcanons btw. Still being probably months late, I still hope you enjoy this.

Dad!Optimus & Grandpa!Ratchet & NB!Reader It had been in no way your fault, but nonetheless you still found yourself shrinking into yourself as Optimus looked at you with a disappointed look in his bright blue optics. As the oldest of the humans on base, you had taken to watching over the three younger ones. Which as a result lead to you being equally in trouble, when they got in trouble and like in moments like this had broken something. You had been busy with yourself for a few minutes, so there was no clear way to say who had started it, but by the time yells and screams had drawn your attention they were running around the base, chasing each other with water guns.

To a degree you could understand them, the summer was hot, and even the base could grow uncomfortably warm at the height of the day, but to use water guns? Around a lot of technology? An exasperated sigh had left you, and you had to move to stop them, yelling after them. Alas, too late, an over enthusiastic shot from Miko had missed its intended target of Raf and instead hit Ratchets workstation. You watched with bated breath hoping it would do no damage, relaxing as it seemed to be fine and turning to the equally frozen kids, when there was a crackling noise and just as you turned back around the previously lit display darkened.

As the Bots returned, the children and their guardians were quickly sent on their way to bring said children home, which left you alone with Optimus and Ratchet. Ratchet had not left his damaged station since returning, attempting to fix the damage. Optimus on the other hand had turned to you. Which was what had led to this moment. The big bot wasn't angry, but the disappointment in his optics was far more disheartening in your opinion. Disappointing Optimus never sat right with you at all, not that you had been at this point very often before. No, rather, you were far more commonly sitting on his shoulder and conversing with him.

"(Y/N), I'm very glad that you watch the younger ones when you're alone at base, but if you need help than please do tell me. I would not want you to be overwhelmed by watching three other humans by yourself. I am quite sure, leaving one of the others at base to help you, would be manageable.", his voice was as gentle as always and perhaps the fact that he was seemingly more concerned for you than the damaged equipment and even considered leaving someone at base was worse. With the Deceptions being more experienced fighters and having no qualms, leaving someone to watch would be impractical. While usual Ratchet was at base, he was ready to leave base when necessary, so to stop that would be impractical.

Still you nodded and watched, still hunched into yourself, as Optimus joined Ratchet to look at the damage from the equipment. Coming to a decision, the next day, when the Bots and the kids left base, you made your way towards the workstation and had a closer look at the damage. It was quickly clear why such technically minimal water damage made this much trouble. The cables were sized for humans and while it must have been hard to connect when building the station it had no casing then and no it did, making it even harder for big cybertronian hands to work half hidden small human cables.

It didn't take long to get a torch and a few tools from your back, something you carried with you just in case, since you had started to get along better with Ratchet, often listening to his stories and grumbled life advice. Once back at the workstation, you turned the torch on and climbed into the casing of the workstation and working along the few small cables that needed to be fixed. Fixated on your work, it only registered that Optimus and Ratchet had come over, both not out with the others, when they began to talk, or well you assumed began to talk as you hadn't registered it before.

"It's almost amusing to watch you, how do the humans say it, mother hen them.", the sentence made you slow in your work with curiosity, wondering if they were talking about the other kids, your curiosity mirrored by the confused tone of Optimus. "What do you mean, old friend?" "Hah, it's obvious. (Y/N), you talk like you're their creator.", the way Ratchet said it was not judgemental, rather it seemed genuinely amusing. "I-", Optimus began, but was cut almost off immediately by a yelp. Both bots snapped their helms around, looking around, pinpointing the origin just as you crawled out of the casing of the workstation, your finger bleeding where you had slipped at the answer of the medic.

Before you could even fully get over the hem of the workstation, Ratchet scooped you up and walked off with words of chiding for injuring yourself. As much as Optimus had been caught off-guard by the words of his old friend, reflecting on them proofed them true. But alas, at least he was not the only one, he mused quietly as he watched said old friend fret over your cut with a rare care in his optics.

Hello! I wanted to say AMAZING job on that platonic yandere autobot post- yandere posts with the kids in them always put a pit in my stomach but I can admit you wrote it really well!

Though that makes me wonder what would happen with others that are either new and don't have a 'sparkling' or ones that have already been there (Ratchet and Optimus) who technically don't have a sparkling of their own? Like I know it's unlikely but I can't stop imagining smokescreen or wheeljack randomly snatching a human in their mid 20s and going "this is my kid" and no one fighting them on it

I think if it's a situation where the 'sparkling' isn't taken care of by the whole team, Ratchet would be the most overprotective of his human sparkling. Like, you're not going anywhere without him there. You're not leaving the base even. You're lucky if he trusts the others to take care of you, or else he may just lock you in his resting quarters while he's away.

It's not that he means to punish you. You have to understand. He's just… Terrified. He loves you so much and it's terrifying. He can't lose another one. Please. He can't lose another child. It'll break him. Please, please, just understand. He loves you too much to let you be hurt again.

And it's not all bad! He loves to pick you up and hold you in his arms, pressed against his chassis. It's one thing he misses most about losing his little ones… He also enjoys playing games with you or indulging in interests and projects. He loves nothing more than to see a smile on your face and know how much you and your passions mean to him. Though, he has the tendency to go a bit overboard.

If he's delusional enough, he may believe you're somehow his child or grandchildren reincarnated. He'll tell you the memories he has of Cybertron with his family to try to jog your memory.

Despite his unconditional love for you, Ratchet is a grumpy old mech and has a tendency to be stern when need be - and even if not. He may raise his voice at times, but is quick to apologize and swoop you up into his arms.

Optimus' affection is more reserved than Ratchet's, but that doesn't mean he loves you any less! His adoration is usually expressed through praise and words of encouragement. I imagine The Matrix would try to curb this increasingly possessive parental attachment toward you, but perhaps Optimus can simply… Bend the rules just a bit?

It's only natural to see you as a sparkling, is it not? You were significantly younger and smaller than him and he'd taken on a protective role toward you, if anything, it'd be odd if he didn't see you as one. And it was his duty to protect the lives of humanity, especially against the Decepticons. He was doing this because he must. He must keep you safe. You're so small. So fragile. So young.

If he must keep constant communication with you to assure your safety, so be it. If he must disrupt your daily life to protect you from Decepticon attacks, he will do it gladly. And it hurts him to do so, but if locking you within the base is what stops Optimus from losing you, it is the price he is willing to pay. 

At some point, something glitches. Why should he be remorseful for his actions? You were family, after all. His sparkling. And he would do anything to keep you safe.

This glitch in his Matrix may also extend to Bumblebee, but perhaps less so because Bee is much less fragile than you. Optimus would love if the two of you began bonding. Not just to cement you as family, but it means another set of optics on you, as well.

Love the idea of Wheeljack either randomly being like "my baby now" with you without realizing Bulk was doing the same, so when they both go to show their kids off they get so hype because !!! Same wavelength! OR Jackie seeing Bulkhead getting his own Sparkling and being like 'hell yeah this planet has free kids' and zooming off to get his own.

Jackie would try to be as fun a caretaker as possible. Would love to joke around with you, play games, let you climb on him or sit on his shoulders. Also likes to tease you, usually about how small you are compared to him.  What? It's cute!

But, his patience can wear rather thin if you keep begging him to let you throwing tantrums, and while his punishments aren't physical in nature, they can be rather cruel.

For instance, if you're so insistent that he let you go, surely you wouldn't mind him driving you out into the desert and leaving you there, right? I mean, its basically the equivalent of what he'd be doing if he abandoned you when Cons and other dangers are everywhere on this planet! He'll drive out a couple miles before circling back and asking, rather smugly, if you got everything out of your system and were ready to come back to him.

Also! Two dads for the price of one! When he knows he's gonna be going down some dangerous roads and needs someone to watch after you, Bulkhead is the mech for the job!

I feel like Smokescreen would be more of an older sibling figure! No less protective of you than the others, but more of a different dynamic.

For instance, he really, really wants to impress you. He'll go out of his way to do tricks if it means your eyes are on him and smiling up at him. He loves to know you're happy and being the one to make you smile. He hopes you can look up to uim the same way he looks up to Optimus!

And for that, he's also hit very hard at any sign of conflict or disappointment from you. He doesn't really like the idea of punishments. You're far younger than him, you don't know what you're saying. You're confused and upset and so you're lashing out. It's okay, Smokescreen understands. If he ever does feel like you're purposefully trying to hurt him, he'll simply give you the silent treatment.

He loves scooping you into gentle hugs or holds, carrying you around the base. Also loves taking you out for car rides and just talking together.

And if any Decepticons even think about laying a claw on you, he'll make them wish they never existed <3

I just had a silly thought... what would Bayverse!Optimus do if a human friend stuck embarrassing car magnets on his bumper without him realizing at the time, but then one of his fellow Autobots does when he transforms into his normal self (let's just say Crosshairs cuz I feel like he'd be an ass about it).

Oooooooooo yessssss, THIS IS SO LATE I'M SO SORRY QWQ

It was cleaning day and you were busy hosing down Optimus' alt form. While he was recharging and you were drying, you slipped a few magnets on his bumper. Trying to contain your laughter, you continued your business and quickly admired your work. There were a few hilarious retro magnets and stickers, definitely something any driver would like while driving behind Optimus.

"All done!" You smiled as Optimus got out of recharge. He hummed softly and transformed. "Good as new boss man." You couldn't help but snicker as Optimus noticed one on his forearm, the leader of the autobot studied it before looking at you.

"(Y/N)?"

"Y-yeah?"

"What is.....'girlboss'?" Optimus asked. The other autobots gathered around, a couple snickering from the other magnets.

"Oh, heh, you know like....you're a boss but you're like a 'girl' boss." You chuckled. Optimus stared at you, the confusion never leaving his optics. "It's a word of endearment."

"Ah I see, then you are also a 'girlboss'." Optimus smiled. You tried your best to hide your laughter, feeling it choke up in your throat as you nodded respectfully at him.

Crosshairs on the other hand, he wasn't too discrete about it. "BAHAHAHAHA, 'SLUTTY WAIST PRIME' AND....AND 'THICCTIMUS PRIME'!" You let out a soft snicker at Crosshairs reaction, the autobot grumbled and stomped off with the others; leaving you and Optimus alone. "Would you subject me to the same fate, Optimus?"

"No, you don't enjoy car racing."

You let out a chuckle. "You're right." Optimus knelt down to meet your gaze. "Well, you're right about me being the culprit, heh, so whats my punishment?"

Optimus placed his hand under his chin, almost replicating the human thinking pose he had often seen you doing. "To go out on a drive with me."

I didn't really feel like Optimus was the type to eavesdrop, he respects the reader’s privacy way too much, so I couldn’t come up with anything. These ended up kinda short because I just couldn’t come up with much and not exactly like you asked, but oh well

~Knockout~

•Knockout loves to gossip and listening in on your conversations with your friends is fun for him

•Sometimes he’s just sitting next to you and you purposefully turn the volume up or put the phone on speaker so he can hear what you’re talking about, depending on the topic of course

•You sometimes have to shoot him a look to get him to shut up, when he gasps a bit too loud or he looks like he wants to comment something

•When your phone call is over, Knockout can’t resist commenting on everything he just heard

•He sometimes speculates a bit too much, but it can be fun to have an outside perspective

•You don’t let him talk shit about your friends, even though he would sometimes really like to, because he doesn’t like something your friend has said to you

~Megatron~

•Megatron couldn’t really help but overhear your conversation, you were literally sitting on his shoulder and talking on your phone

•He had a bit of a hard time hearing your friend’s side of the conversation, but he caught bits and pieces

•When you were done, he asked you what it was about, since it sounded like there was something dramatic going on

•You don’t really explain it in detail, but you tell him two of your friends had gotten into an argument and you had to be a mediator between the two

•His comment is something similar to “Diplomacy is useless, they should just fight it out” which made you chuckle

•You tell him that’s not really an option, and it wasn’t that serious anyway

•Megatron keeps up with how you’re doing with your friends, asking you about it every now and then

LOTS of hugs and pats on the back when the kiddos do a good job. Not to mention every single Cybertronian in this continuity needs a hug I stg

The Earthspark!Autobots recruiting a Femme!Autobot who is a smol, energetic cuddler would include...

Optimus has always been pretty casual about giving his cohorts pats on the back/side hugs/etc, but they don't so often respond to him as enthusiastically as you. They see him as this larger than life thing,  so it makes him really happy that you're so relaxed around him. Between that and how you make sure the Terrans receive physical reassurance, and the two of you become fast friends.

Elita-1 doesn't really initiate hugs, being more of a words person, but once she adjusts to how physical you are she will crush you with affection in return. She immediately gets the sort of bot you are and recognizes your warmth as strength. She will call anybody out who assumes your childish nature makes you naive. Speaking of which....

Megatron has zero idea how to deal with it when you straight up hug him in front of everybody for the first time, and it shows on his shocked face in a way he may never live down. During the war, he never let anybody that close, and while he's mellowed out a great deal now, most bots would be afraid or at least cautious to try being so affectionate with him. He's likely the most prone to assuming your demeanor means you're innocent, even if you've actually suffered from the war as much as anybody else.

Wheeljack ends up asking you for advice on being more open and warm with Twitch - it's not something that comes naturally to him, and he can tell physical reassurance does her a lot of good. You help him out and in return he often has a new gadget for you as a thank you present... to mixed results.

Bumblebee is the most hesitant around you at first - the last thing they need is another child running about, for Primus' sake. Autobots need to be mature and professional. But eventually, he realizes nothing about your sunny disposition keeps you from doing the job at hand just as well as the rest of the team, and from there it doesn't take him long to get attached. 

Arcee is the most like you in disposition AND size, so you two immediately click. She's not as much of a hugger as you, but will respond enthusiastically to a hug by straight up LIFTING you off the ground and swinging you about. The terrans LOVE when you two are teaching, because you're the most encouraging and least intimidating duo of any of the Autobots.

Please, for the love of Primus, give Grimlock a hug. He's not going to openly ask for one, but he needs one badly. He never acts too excited when you hug him but also never backs away or tells you to stop... and you notice the more you comfort him, the more likely he is to come to you when he's had a rough flashback or is otherwise just feeling out of sorts, and not so subtly sit or bend over in a way that makes it easy for you to reach up and hug him.

Lately there had been more Decepticon activity than usual, meaning less time for Buddy to spend time with Optimus.

He tried to spend his free time with Buddy, but he was so tired.

“Hey Prime—Woah…”--Bumblebee

 Optimus faceplanted on a book while Buddy was watching something on the datapad.

“I should probably go get Ratchet.”--Bumblebee

Optimus snapping awake.

“Don’t do that!”--Optimus

“Prime!”—Bumblebee

Startled sparkling noises.

“Sorry about that.”--Optimus

“Oh, it’s okay Optimus. No harm done. Hi Buddy!”—Bumblebee

Buddy waving.

“But please don’t tell Ratchet. I haven’t slept in 2 decacycles and I think he’s onto me…”--Optimus

Buddy soon started to notice that everyone else was becoming more and more tired by the day. Their regular babysitters looked tired every time it was their turn to handle Buddy. Not having much energy to deal with a sparkling. Buddy regularly started spending more time with the Dinobots, which they were happy to have Buddy over.

“Hey Grimlock, I brought Buddy over.”--Wheeljack

But then they started getting called in.

Buddy started being left alone with Grampa Sparkplug and Spike.

One morning Buddy tried keeping Optimus from getting out of the base by holding onto his servo for dear life. Optimus simply put them back into their makeshift crib and patted their helm, gently closed the door, and walked off for his morning patrols.

Prime thought he was leaving Buddy under the supervision of the Dinobots.

He didn’t know that the Dinobots had gone with Wheeljack and Hound to go see the new outdoor museum.

The Dinobots thought that Buddy was safe in the base with Ratchet and Sparkplug.

Ratchet and Sparkplug were out in town with Hoist and Grapple getting some more spare parts for the med bay and future projects for Wheeljack.

Ratchet and Sparkplug thought Buddy was with Bumblebee, Spike, Sideswipe and Sunstreaker.

The four of them were on a scouting mission that Prime had sent them on.

Which brings us back to Buddy.

Buddy for the first time since they had been found, was all alone in the base.

Buddy tried calling for anyone to come and get them.

After a while of calling Buddy started crying.

And crying hard.

Soundwave was trying to collect his thoughts.

He was on a mission from Megatron to get some more intel on Teletran one with his mini’s.

“Man, that was easy!”--Frenzy

“I know right! How many times has that loser Spike fallen for the old ‘lost casseste player’ thing?”--Rumble

Soundwave used his telepathic powers to seek the mind who was in the base.

He was hit with a sudden wave of raw emotions.

Sadness.

Anger.

Worry.

Fear.

So much Fear.

He wasted no time going and seeing who this was.

The closer he got to the room the more he could hear the screams.

The screams sounded like a youngling.

No Autobot would start torturing natives of this planet… right?

The new blast of screams caused him to nearly rip the door from its hinges.

Dad mode was activated.

As soon as he was outside of the entrance, he started hearing some of the younger Autobots coming near. Quickly putting Buddy into his Chassis, Soundwave quietly ran into the night.

Soundwave made it back to the Nemesis where he took Buddy out of his chassis along with the other cassettes.

Soundwave doesn’t know what happened in there, but it turns out the cassettes had made some sort of blood oath to look after the sparkling.

Everyone is crowding around the small family trying to get a look at the sparkling.

The minicons tried forming a protective barrier between them and the sparkling.

“Hey back up Screamer! You’ll scare the kid!”--Rumble

“How dare you—”--Stascream

Ravage and Lazerbeak standing by Buddy’s side daring the Second in Command to come closer.

“Fine… I didn’t want to see it anyways.”--Starscream

“Where did you fine the sparkling?”--Thundercracker

“Autobot base. Base empty. Sparkling only one there.”--Soundwave

“Did you get the information?”--Starscream

“Information gained successfully.”--Soundwave

The crowd was parted when Megatron entered the room. Soundwave stated what happened during his mission. Leaving Megatron a bit disgusted with his enemy.

How could Prime be so irresponsible for leaving the sparkling alone.

They even have humans that can look after the sparkling.

Well maybe not Spike, but the other ones are more competent than that one!

Now Megatron isn’t that dumb.

He knows where to draw the line in his ways, especially with new Cybertronian sparklings.

But at the same time, he wants to teach Prime a lesson.

“Soundwave, you will have custody of the sparkling until the end of the week.”--Megatron

“Affirmative.”--Soundwave

“Listen, my army! This sparkling is not to be harmed under no circumstance! They will be part of the Decepticon army until the end of the week. Some of you will be looking after the sparkling, so you better plant that idea in your processors. Now any questions?”--Megatron

“Yes Thundercracker.”--Megatron

“Are we going to have to give the sparkling a name? Because I don’t want to call them ‘sparkling’ every single time.”--Thundercracker

The Cons decide to agree to one rule: No one is going to get attached.

Right?

You have Con’s who are already building up their emotional wall higher already wishing the week would be over.

Then you have Con’s like Soundwave who are already printing out copies for sharing the custody over the sparkling.

Everyone swears not to get attached.

That is the one thing they all fail to do.

As Buddy guardian during the week, he makes sure that most of his assignments are base operated.

Megatron can deal with it until the week is over.

The minicons are the primary babysitters for the sparkling.

Rumble and Frenzy try to teach the sparkling how to rough house which ends up with both fighting each other over the best way to give someone an uppercut.

Ravage likes to take naps near the sparkling.

Lazerbeak and Buzzsaw together like giving the sparkling little flying lessons.

Ratbat likes cuddling the sparkling when they are deep asleep, he’ll leave as soon as the sparkling starts waking up.

Soundwave entering back to his habsuite after some decoding.

“Rumble. Frenzy. Where is Buddy?”--Soundwave

Soundwave sees a cuddle pile of minicons around the sleeping sparkling on his berth.

Soundwave sighs softly and joins the pile.

The Elite Trine are the ones who really give the sparkling a flying lesson.

The three of them have a timer that tells them when to give the other a chance with the sparkling.

Skywarp warps with Buddy in his arms all over the Nemesis which makes them laugh loudly. He was quickly banned from doing this after he got stuck in a wall again and Buddy nearly dropped to the floor if it weren’t for Soundwave.

Starscream tries the entire time to get the sparkling to say ‘Hail Starscream’. Somehow the sparkling says ‘Hail Megatron’ and ‘Hail Optimus’. Where did they learn those two names? He blames Skywarp.

Thundercracker being the tamer one of the group takes the sparkling out of the base and peacefully flies above the clouds and careful not to fly above Autobot territory.

Two hours into ‘Titanic’ the two Cons are trying to sniffle in the coolant that is dripping down their faceplates and sparkling is laughing at the humans in the funny dresses.

“Umm… why are you guys watching ‘Titanic’?”--Thundercracker

“Oh C’mon! Jack obviously didn’t steal your dumb necklace, Rose! Don’t fall for that lousy trick!”--Blitzwing

Buddy becomes nearly enamored with the sight of Devastator.

The huge bot is just crouching and lightly poking at the sparkling’s belly as it giggles and laughs loudly.

Devestator likes this.

When he goes back into the Constructicons, the adoration doesn’t stop.

Scrapper and Scavenger make little sparkling safe toys for Buddy to play around with. All in green and purple colors. Like the little Construction they are!

Bonecrusher is a little cautious to be near Buddy thinking he would accidentally hurt them. Buddy lies to sit on his lap, where he just becomes as stiff as a statue to not hurt Buddy.

Long Haul looks after Bonecrusher so nothing bad happens to Buddy. Which is mainly fixing Buddy’s posture, so they don’t tumble off of his teammates lap.

Mixmaster is not allowed to be near Buddy without Hook nearby. Hook may not be the strongest member of the Constructicons, but he also knows that there is a higher possibility of Buddy getting a scratch with Mix. As designated medic, he has his bandages ready.

Megatron tries to sneak in extra time from other Cons, but he can’t do it.

Soundwave is serious about having his kid -er- Buddy spending time with everyone equally.

But since Megatron has a lot of things to do he has his scientist build a device similar to what human’s strap on to take their younger infants on their chassis.

So many of his soldiers have to use every amount of will power not to laugh or giggle as Megatron is giving out battle plans as the sparkling strapped to his chassis is chewing on a rust stick.

“We will attack the base here. Then we shall—”--Megatron

Buddy sneezes.

“Aww!”--Decepticons

“As I was saying, we shall then—”--Megatron

Buddy laughing loudly for no reason.

“AWW!”--Decepticons

“…We shall—”--Megatron

Buddy tanks rumbling.

“Buddy: need fueling. Commence operation: Fueling time.”--Soundwave

“…Meeting dismissed...”--Megatron

The day finally comes to return the sparkling back. Megatron is already making plans with Soundwave to get the sparkling next month for another week.

Surprisingly there are some tears shed as Buddy waves goodbye to their new friends as Soundwave takes them back to the surface.

“You take care kid.”--Thundercracker

“Can’t wait for our next movie night!”--Blitzwing

“We’ll watch ‘The Goonies’ next time!”--Astrotrain

“I guess this is good-bye then. Until we meet again.”--Starscream

“I know you’re gonna miss them Screamer. Just admit it.”--Skywarp

“Shut… fine. We will see each other soon, Buddy.”--Starscream

Meanwhile last week at the base.

Everyone was in panic mode.

Someone had kidnapped Buddy, and they didn’t have any video evidence of who had done it.

Everyone is blaming themselves for not being there for Buddy.

But Optimus is the worst of them all.

He had tried calling the Decepticons multiple times seeing if they had kidnapped Buddy and wanted ransom. They hadn’t answered. They had gone radio silence.

Optimus was going through everyone that would want revenge on him and thinking about where they could have taken Buddy. Ratchet and Ironhide have had to sedate him into getting some sleep.

When the Dinobots found out they nearly went berserk.

They are the first out the door looking for Buddy and the last to come back from searching.

Everyone is on high alert.

Back to the present.

Soundwave was hiding behind some tall trees that were near the base. There was a path that led straight to the base if they just continued the path.

“Buddy. Go down path.”--Soundwave

“Path?”--Buddy

“Commence operation: Go home.”--Soundwave

“Home?”--Buddy

“Yes, go to Prime. Good-bye Buddy.”

Soundwave bending down to hug Buddy one last time before placing them on the ground and walks down the opposite direction.

Soundwave looked from his hiding place until he was sure that Buddy was in the clear before heading back to the Nemesis.

Buddy waited a bit then started down the familiar path back home. It was the same nature path Optimus and Grimlock sometimes used when they needed to go for a walk and to get back to the base.

They speed up their little walk as more things start getting familiar to their optics. Especially the greenery around the large boulder.

They spot a familiar red and blue figure sitting on their special boulder and squeal in delight.

“Oppy! Oppy!”--Buddy

“Buddy!? Buddy!”--Optimus

“Oppy!”--Buddy

“Buddy!”--Optimus

Optimus’s knees give out as he crashes to the ground with Buddy in his arms. He is letting a sob of relief out feeling Buddy’s little servos on his facemask.

Hello! I wanted to request a fluff with Megatron, Soundwave, Knockout! I thought maybe it would be cute if the decepticons reacted to their human being a caring loving mother figure that they probably never had.

Telling the bots to be careful and give them loving hugs whenever the person enters a room (well tries to hug but you get it)

They always give the decepticons head pats whenever the human can and praises them for their work in a soothing way. Just them being treated with the love they deserved for all this time!

Extra (you dont have to): if some mechs get fed up with the human and tries to get rid of them and the human gets taking out the ship and back to earth. Oh goodness when the decepticons find out that their human is missing òwó. Also I know I didnt add a lot of characters, only three. But if you feel like it you can add whoever you want!

Megatron:

- at first he would be very very stiff about you showing him that kind of love and he would probably try to stop you.

- He wouldn't want the other Decepticons to see him as weak because a human cares for him and also, he would worry that you're only doing it to find a weak spot to hurt him. To many people betrayed him already to trust so easily.

- He isn’t used to kind words or innocent touches, so to have someone like you, it would drive him nuts especially because you are human.

- He wouldn’t say he loves your words of affection, your smile and your look in your eyes when you compliment him, when you praise him, when you hug him or when you just cuddle with him, but in fact he does.

- Although he can’t really understand why you’re doing this, why you’re being all that nice to him, cause he sees himself as monster and he knows besides you everybody does that too.

- Whenever he’s feeling down or he’s scared he comes to you, wanting you to pet his head and telling him how proud you are.

- You’re always there when he leaves the ship no matter the time, no matter the reason for him to leave, telling him to be careful.

- Every time he would pick you up, raising you up to his faceplate and promising you to come back alive and healthy.

- The moment he’s back on the nemesis, you’re there to welcome him back and asking him if he’s okay.

- The way you cares for him would warm his ice cold heart everytime

- Your definitely the person he trusts the most and means the most to him.

- He would do anything to keep you save and healthy, no matter the cost

Extra

- Every bot on the nemesis would know that Megatron and you, a human, are very close and that he became soft over the time, or at least, he became soft around you and some of them would hate you for that.

- So some of the bot would plan to snatch you away while megatron is away doing god knows what

- He immediately knows something is clearly wrong when you’re not there to welcome him

- The first thing he does is to look in your room and surprise, you’re not there.

- after that he contacts soundwave to find you, and after soundwave tells him there’s no “human” signal on the nemesis he’s scared shitless

- He knows your not able to get off the nemesis on your own, and he knows since you’re an allay of the decepticons it would be pretty dangerous too to go back to earth without him.

- The only ones who are authorized to take care of you are Soundwave, Shockwave and Knockout so if neither has take you to earth he knows someone took you.

- With soundwaves help he would find the traitors pretty quick

- He would do anything to get you back and the moments he finds you and the bot who took you, he sees red.

-After that you both would comfort each other and believe me when I’m saying something like that would never ever happen again

Soundwave:

- Same as Megatron he would be stiff about that kind of affection at first.

- He would ask himself a lot of questions, like, why are you so nice to him, why all those hugs and loving word’s. He wouldn’t understand you the slightest bit.

- You’re a human, why do you care for him? He’s just a bot, nothing else.

- He would get attached to it pretty fast though

- most of the time he’s on the nemesis, doing nothing but work, so to have you, praising him, cuddling him and petting his head after his duty’s are fulfilled, means everything to him

- He knows your mothering him and he’s done some research on why you’re doing this and if every human does that.

- He absolutely adores it that you care for him, that you ask him how he’s doing, that you hug him when he’s stressed and that you ask him to be careful when it happens that he has to leave the nemesis

- He doesn’t care if some other bot thinks he’s weak, he knows he is not and he also thinks that you’re not weak like some others say. In his optics you’re the strongest and most caring human that exists.

- You’re a role model for him, even though he’s so much older than you and knows like everything, cause even if he’s a huge war criminal who could easily crush you, you never feared him nor did you ever insult him.

-He likes to give you head pats too, just to show you without using his words that you mean everything to him

-because you mean so much to him, one of his little cassettes would always be by your side and would protect you.

Extra:

- As mentioned he rarely leaves the nemesis and if he does, one of his little cassettes watches over you

- So the moment his cassette sends a sos signal to him, he’s on his way to you

- Whoever the bot is that tries to steal you from him, his end is near

- Soundwave would be on his ass the moment he’s leaving the nemesis with you

- Give him lots of love, attention and praise cause he would need that after multiple spark attacks

Knockout:

- He's the one who would be the quickest to accept this new found affection

- Your praise, your kind words, the sweet pats on his head, the innocent hugs and the love you’re showing him would mean so much to him

- You’re his rock, his family, you mean everything to him and he’s willing to show you that you’re his family

- Not like the others, he wouldn’t ask himself why you’re so nice to him, he would simply accept and enjoy it. Way to many years filled with betray and war that he’s letting his chance of having someone like you in his life go

- He would ask you for physical affection all the time, like head pats or a hug cause his kind is just like the humans, it needs that kind of affection.

- He purr’s (only if you’re alone with him)

- Every time he leaves the nemesis you’re there to say goodbye to him, to wish him luck and to tell him to care of himself.

- You’re the only reasons he likes to go back to the nemesis, cause he knows you’re there waiting for him

- To welcome him, to tell him he did a good job, to be there for him.

Extra:

- He loves street racings and even though he knows your worried about him, he likes to go out and attend street races (mostly because every time he comes home, you’re waiting for him. Asking him if he was okay and giving him affection)

- So to come back to the nemesis and it seems you’re nowhere to be found he would be panicking.

- He knows a lot of the other bot doesn’t like humans so he would immediately try to find you (together with breakdown)

- In the end he would ask soundwave to help him to find you and together they would find you somewhere in the desert.

- After you’re back on the nemesis he would need a lot affection and words, cause he’s sure he had over ten spark attacks while you were nowhere to be found.

Ever since you have met Ironhide, you and him became best friends despite him being a robot

He would always protect you from Decepticons, no matter how big or small they are. He would also let you watch as he beats them to a pulp, but at a safe distance

Whenever Ironhide has nothing to do, he would transform into his vehicle form before taking you out for a ride

Since you are very close with the Autobots, the chances of you getting kidnapped, or worse, even killed by Decepticons are very high. But Ironhide would make sure that doesn't happen

There will be times where Ironhide is badly injured from a battle, and you would always fear that the battle will be his last. But he would always assure you that he would be okay, and even if he dies, he would be glad and thankful to be friends with a human like you

You and Ironhide has an unbreakable bond, and not even the Decepticons can break it

Back on Cybertron, you two would hang out as much as possible and go out on rides, race each other, etc.

Of course, you both grew up with a war raging on your planet, so she wasn't always able to be there, but she sure as hell tried

You guys escaped from Cybertron and became apart of team Prime

Would absolutely, 100%, without a DOUBT, sacrifice her life for you

She's got your back, if anyone bullied or hurt you, they would have to deal with Arcee later

She also gives great advice

Calls you nicknames like "kiddo" or something stupid like "squid" (I'm just going off what I call my little brother lmao)

Calls you the nicknames even more if you find it annoying lol, she teases you a lot but not to the point where she'd actually hurt you

And if she did she'll feel bad and take you on a ride or something later

You think she's super badass (she is) and as you get older, she teaches you more and more moves

Yes she'll try to always be there to protect you, but she makes sure you know how to defend yourself and fight too

Optimus and Ratchet are kinda like parental figures to you, with Bumblebee as a brother, and Bulkhead as a "cool uncle"

They always tell you how similar you and Arcee are, even if you don't look alike

You probably hang out with Bumblebee and the humans the most, since they're closer to your age

Arcee's younger sibling = Team Prime's younger sibling

I don't wanna get too angsty (lmao me when I lie), but you were close with Tailgate and Cliffjumper, so their deaths hit hard for you

One thing she's terrified about is Arachnid getting to you. She's lost so many people, she just can't lose you too :(

Might go a little harder on training sometimes because of that, but its only because she loves you and wants to make sure you know how to keep yourself safe
