The Windenburg Museum of Art is a distinguished institution run by the Landgraab Foundation. Very well known because of the name of its owners, the organization funds numerous projects and annually gives prestigious fellowships to encourage young artists. Its influence on the art world is huge. At the WMoA, you can admire beautiful contemporary creations. It’s also the perfect place to take painting classes if you’d like, or enjoy a drink and good food with a friend.

Situated in the Windenburg historic district, this traditional provencial house has everything you can dream of: 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and even a little garden where you can enjoy sunny afternoons and listen to the river nearby. The property went on the market a few years ago and was purchased by Liv Morgan, a renowned veterinarian. She’s also the owner of the local vet clinic (just a few minutes away on foot). She lives here with her husband and their three children.

Whether the rumor is true or not, one thing is sure: this is the best restaurant in Oasis Springs to enjoy a good burger (and improve your roller-skating skills).

This might be a modest house, but it’s rich with character. Located in southern Willow Creek, it’s home to a joyful bunch of students that decided to share it so they could enjoy a nice space while saving money. Their neighborhood feels like a small village. Each Friday night, they invite every neighbor for a barbecue. Here, everybody knows and help each other. You need some flour at 3 a.m.? No worries, someone’s got you.

Waterside Avenue is one of the most lively streets in Willow Creek. Locals and tourists come every day of the week to shop, browse the aisles or enjoy delicious pastries. Here, there are lots of things to do. In these old historic buildings, you can find a coffee shop, electronics and appliance stores, a hair salon and even a movie-themed bar and a supermarket.

This old farm is impossible to miss if you come to visit Henford-on-Bagley. Situated on a hill, it dominates the land. With its overgrown roof and surrounded by beautiful trees, the house seems to emerge from your most ethereal and pastoral dreams—an enchantment for the eyes. It’s home to Granny Winifred, her son Archibald and her granddaughter, Ivy. Together, they take care of the crops, animals and sell their products every Sunday.

The Windenburg Arts Center is a public institution, open to everyone. Here, you can paint, play instruments, create music, take care of plants, read a book, enjoy beautiful art, sing your heart out in the karaoke room and even see a good film in the cinema. There’s also a cool bar on the terrace, and a stand to eat some food with your friends, just next to the water. It’s really a great place to go on your free time!

Gisela Greenhill wished to have a quiet place to live with her animals, so she built it. Deep into the woods, this house is like her sanctum, away from the rest of the world.

This charming little house is home to Arzu Bayat and her dog, Lovely. Here, they live with a roommate, Ben Noble, a dear friend who chose to dedicate his life to taking care of the environment. He sometimes helps Arzu with her beautiful garden and to prepare everything for market days. Being near the Brindleton Bay lighthouse, they love to take walks and chat, always enjoying a good rainy day for reading.

Situated in the modern area of Windenburg, this recreational complex is a place for everybody – even for the little ones! You can obviously enjoy the big public pool, but also go to the gym, do yoga, have a coffee or a drink, surf on the Internet and take care of the collective garden. Plus, there’s a rooftop movie night every Friday, a perfect occasion to go out with friends and family.

First, it was a spellcasters cemetery, but now, it’s a place of everybody. Here you can find peace and quiet, pay your respects to the ones you miss and spend time alone to think.
