i wish i could get rid of this guilt that's been hammered and conditioned into me so hard

my boss called me to ask if i could take over for him today (he's feeling under the weather) but i legit cannot because i have to take my cat to the vets and I have to be there in person bc of my vet tech background, and i cant reschedule because its an issue that needs attention now and YET my stupid brain is like

ALso it might have a little bit to do with the fact that he left me hanging the day my friend killed himself and i wanted to go over to support my friend's fiancee and family but literally every single person i asked to cover for me had an excuse ready.

And yeah im still bitter but i'm sorry 'i have to go shopping with my daughter' doesn't seem like a good enough reason to deny me this once in a lifetime thing that i will now regret not doing for the rest of my life so maybe i dont want to fill in for any of y'all anymore

I had a nightmare last night about my ex that was way too vivid to have been an actual dream

I feel so disgusting. I remember being so drugged up (of my own volition as I was constantly strung out around him to the point of nodding often just to tolerate him), I couldn't even scream out for help or to draw attention to what was happening. I was crying. I just wanted it to stop but he never did.

I tried saying no.

I tried saying please stop.

"Aw, come on, kitty... I know you actually like it."

"Just let it happen."

"You seem like you like it, why are you asking me to stop now?"

Feeling his lips on my skin, how slimey his lips and tongue were... how warm he was but how cold I felt to the core.

I just want peace. I'm safe right now but jesus fucking christ the emotional fucking whiplash is just too much for me rn.

i haven't been on here in sooo long. last time i was on here i was an entirely different person and in an entirely different point in my life..and weirdly enough, i love that. i love knowing that i am a complete stranger to my past self. i love knowing that i have healed and become more in tune with myself than i have ever been. i love knowing that my time away was spent healing from an abusive relationship, toxic friendships and the family related trauma. i love that i found found myself. i love me. and i love all of you.
