Ok, so some of you replied to a post I made a while back about missing Whumptober, and people gave me lots of options for drawing challenges to do in the meantime. There were some great ideas but nothing in particular that jumped out to me.

BUT WHAT IF---

Instead of doing my own personal prompts, I think it would be really fun to draw 1 color drawing each day that corresponds to a scene in an LU fanfic!

So, for example, I would find fics that I've read and like and pick a scene to draw, then post it and tag the writer(if they have tumblr) and link the story!

This way I get to have fun reading and gifting art, writers get more exposure for their fics, and people get recommendations for LU fics they may not have seen!

I could probably do it in July, that way I have time to find 31 fics and pic the scenes. And ALSO get a head start on drawing, cus man, monotone sketches everyday in October was hard, color drawings will be even more time consuming, so I would need to hard core prep.

If I do this, would people be willing to give fic recs of their favorite stories? Granted I would reserve the right to pick and choose which ones I do. I wouldn't want people to feel sad if I didn't do their fic, but regardless, I think it might be a fun idea.

I asked chat GPT to tell me a werewolf story.

And this is the story it told...

In a small village nestled deep in the forest, there lived a pack of werewolves. They were known to the villagers, who feared and respected them. The werewolves were a peaceful lot, keeping to themselves and avoiding any unnecessary interactions with humans.

One night, a young man named Jack was wandering through the forest. He had heard stories of the werewolves but didn't believe in them. As he walked deeper into the forest, he heard a rustling in the bushes. Suddenly, a werewolf appeared before him, its eyes glowing in the darkness.

Jack froze in fear as the werewolf approached him. But to his surprise, the werewolf didn't attack him. Instead, it spoke to him in a deep, gruff voice.

"You are not from around here, are you?" the werewolf said.

Jack nodded, still trembling with fear.

"Listen carefully, human," the werewolf continued. "You have stumbled upon our territory, and we do not take kindly to intruders. But I sense something in you, something different. I will spare your life this time, but you must leave and never return."

Jack nodded again, and the werewolf disappeared into the forest. Jack ran back to the village, telling everyone of his encounter with the werewolf. But no one believed him.

Days passed, and Jack couldn't shake the memory of the werewolf from his mind. He decided to return to the forest to see if he could find the werewolf again.

As he walked through the forest, he heard the rustling of leaves behind him. He turned around and saw the werewolf approaching him once again.

"I warned you, human," the werewolf growled. "Why have you returned?"

"I...I don't know," Jack stammered. "I just had to see you again."

The werewolf looked at Jack with curiosity. "There is something about you that I cannot ignore," he said. "Come with me."

The werewolf led Jack to a clearing deep in the forest. There, he transformed back into a human, revealing himself to be a young man named Liam.

"Liam," Jack repeated in surprise.

"Yes, Liam," Liam said. "I am a werewolf, as you can see. But that is not all that I am. I am also a healer, and I sense something in you that needs healing."

Liam placed his hand on Jack's forehead, and Jack felt a surge of energy flow through him. He felt his fear and anxiety dissipate, replaced by a sense of calm and clarity.

"What did you do to me?" Jack asked, amazed.

"I healed you," Liam said. "But there is more work to be done. You have the potential to be a powerful ally to our kind. Will you join us?"

Jack didn't hesitate. He knew that he had found his true purpose in life. He nodded, and Liam smiled.

"Welcome to the pack, Jack," Liam said.

And with that, Jack became one of the werewolves, using his newfound powers to protect and heal both his kind and the humans of the village.

Genuinely terrifying, watching this thing generate. I didn't know what to expect, but it honestly wasn't this. Was half expecting it to go a little sexy at about the midway point, but it chickened out.

I give it a 3.5 out of 10.

The prose was a bit bland. I enjoyed the fact that the werewolf had a gruff voice and glowy eyes. Didn't like the whole healing magic angle... but you know what? You do you, Chat GPT.

As always, I enjoyed interacting with a non human entity, even if that entity is just a word prediction machine.

But... yeah...

If you want to read werewolf stuff written by a human, I have a book, and a game coming out veeerrrryy soon.

I don't chicken out.
