The line is so blurry. #Chilchuck less so but whatever is going on between Shuro and Laios & Kabru and Laios is giving strong: #“dude if you were a girl I'd date the hell out of you”. And from the genderswap extra's that sentiment is canon for BOTH. #This was made prior to the translation of the Laios & Kabru & Shuro restaurant date comic and honestly I am just feeling vindicated. #I don't even know what to call this dynamic other than a situationship. There is so much going on between all of them. #Even on a purely platonic reading - the miscommunication and male yearning for friendship hurt so bad. #When we got the Big Hug scene in the epilogue arc I was whooping and hollering! Pure catharsis moment! #I also don't like hugs very much so I really felt it went Shuro ('hates being touched') went in for the bear hug. #Do not get me started on the agony of 'always lying' Kabru telling the truth (I just wanted to be friends) #and 'always believes' Laios thinking it's another lie and brushing him off. #I am once again supporting dungeon meshi day by posting art. looking after hobie brown with a split lip and an almost black eye and he won’t stop touching you. it’s extremely distracting and you’d tell him so but you’d hate to see the look on his face when you admit he’s flustering you. so you let him be and scrub at the stream of blood trailing from his lip to his chin. you shuffle up his lap (yeah, you’re in his lap, and what about it? he was the one who put you here. he hadn’t given you much of a choice. insisted it was easier to reach and pulled you into him before you could protest) to get a better angle and his fingers press harder into your hips, his grip on you tightening as he tugs you up his lap, somewhat helpfully. you try to ignore the way it makes you feel. the way you’re now practically chest to chest and he can probably hear your heartbeat, it’s so damn loud.

and then, the very tips of his fingers dip underneath the hem of your shirt and brush your warm skin, and you decide you just can’t take it anymore.

“hobie,” you chide, soft and entirely too flustered.

“what?” he says back, dripping with ignorance, and you’d think he was genuinely clueless if you didn’t know him so well. he pushes his hand further up your back, his rough calloused fingers practically burning a mark on your already hot skin.

“quit it”, you say, though you don’t sound very convincing at all.

“quit what, babe?” hobie presses his palm to the small of your back, forcing you ever so closer. you gasp, pressed up against him, your hands braced on his shoulders, but he only smirks knowingly. “m’only helping you out.”

“…pardon?”

Wakatoshi’s olive eyes peer over his book at you, brow cocked in confusion as you stand above him, your hands on your hips. You don’t look any sort of remorseful or upset; just mildly bored with the fact you’ve just walked up to him and said you’d have to break up.

Like telling him it was raining outside.

You sigh, “we’re just not compatible.”

“Do… you feel that way? Have I done something?” Worry crosses his features, trying to map out what he’s done to upset you, if anything.

“Oh! No, not at all,” you say, and when you provide no other context, he raises his brow and you must notice his growing annoyance because you shrug at him, “my horoscope says we’re not compatible. And I just don’t want to waste my time if we’re not going to make it.”

This, has wakatoshi chuckling. He closes his book and gently shifts to make himself comfortable in the dip of the cushions. “Make it?”

“Look; our signs just aren’t compatible right now.” You smile at him softly, “maybe one day we’ll be there.”

“Im sorry, you must tell me more.” When you flash him a look, he scoffs, “I was reading my book perfectly fine, now you’re telling me we’re not going to be together anymore. I need help understanding.”

You unlock and pass him your phone, his big hand taking it from you before looking at your astrology chart, furrowing his brows as his eyes glaze the contents.

“Non-compatible with leo’s, it says.”

“Yeah,” you confirm.

“And… I’m assuming I’m a leo?”

“Sure are.”

“You’re not seriously about to leave me because the stars said so, correct?”

You cock your brow. He rolls his eyes.

“That should not surprise you,” you say, and he sighs and flicks his eyes up to you.

“It shouldn’t, but it does.”

You scoff, “how august-leo of you.”

“I swear to all of the gods, benevolent and not, do not start using this against me.”

“It’s not me, it’s you, toshi.”

The lamb has been sending weird offerings lately

All of the offerings as of late have been golden, many found on crusades or purchased from local traders.

One of the offerings stands out; a small bell on a simple golden chain. Narinder remembers seeing it through the crowns eye for many months now. The lamb had been painstakingly crafting this very bell in almost a reverent manner. It had been melted down and reformed countless times, and the quality clearly surpasses the assortment surrounding his servants.

He will let Aym and Baal amuse themselves with the rest. The bell practically drips with devotion, so he will keep it.

I saw a post on here a while ago and wish I could find it again but basically it was about how OP doesn’t think wincest is unrequited so much as it is unspoken and I haven’t stopped thinking about it since. because like .
