They even managed to tie him to a chair! It was probably Azul's idea and they got Floyd to help because his twin thought it would be hilarious.

"You know very well why you're here," Vil scoffs, crossing his arms.

"I see... Jealousy is truly powerful, isn't it?"

"Hey, man, no hard feelings," Cater grins, not looking apologetic at all. "We're all just a bit... Bitter that she's only really interested in your card after all the effort we put in our outfits."

"You don't seem to share the same feelings towards mr. Vanrouge, despite I remember her very clearly declaring him as a 'fave'."

"Lils is sneaky, he sneaked past us when we were looking for you."

"I figure. He has not stopped talking about being set in the main menu."

"Azul, I hope you are willing to at least give me a raise."

"Don't even think about freeing him, Ashengrotto," Vil sends Azul one of his icy glares. "It was hard enough to bring him here, and get Jack out of our tails."

Jade can only chuckle, feeling the ropes around his wrist silently snap.

another novel I am desperatly manifesting: local master thief from the gutter (tm) breaks into rich heiresse’s estate just to discover that her highly secured safe, which is rumored to contain a fortune in gold and diamonds, is in fact completly empty. As she is still trying to make sense of it, the heiress enters, wearing an over the top silk gown and holding a glass of wine, confesses that her family has been broke for a long time and that she inhereted nothing but debt, but simply found it funny (and way too easy) to scam her fellow aristocrats. Now, however, she is in serious need of actual money (since some very powerful people grew suspicious) and suggests a team up, leading to a series of increasingly high stakes heists (and maybe romance)
