For those who don't know, the US Supreme Court just ruled that states are allowed to enforce trans healthcare for minors. Undoubtedly, this will trigger a wave of other states that either hope to pass or have already passed policies to do the same. This is going to kill children, and harm more in long-lasting ways.

So, how can you help?

FUCKING VOTE. I don't care if you don't like Biden, he's not the only one on the ballot. Vote representatives into your city council who will turn our city into a sanctuary city. Vote for governors and state reps who will, even if they don't pass new protections, oppose bans being pushed through. Chsllenge and kick out conservative incumbents who are banking on their races being obscure enough for people to not vote in.

Anyone telling you voting is useless is either lying to you or grossly uninformed and think saying this is the edgy new take that will make them look hip and informed. Yes, the system is broken. But short of burning the whole thing to the ground (which personally I'm not a fan of as I quite enjoy having like. Roads and the FDA) what we can do is to change it for the better, by starting with the local races and working our way up.

I'm just as radical as you; I'm a proud member of the great Social Democratic Party of Germany! I don't know what the crazy communists are telling you, but Paul von Hindenburg is our only hope to defeat the Nazis. After we elect him, then we can discuss other politics, but this is the BARE MINIMUM, and if you don't vote for him, you clearly have this crazy purity test that'll bring us all to fascism.

I know you might be worried about his "senility" and "failing health", and I know you may not like him because of his push to the right, and I know you may be worried about the brownshirts, and the recent persecution of Dr. Hirschfeld and his work, and maybe you STILL haven't gotten over the whole Rosa Luxemburg stuff,

but none of that really matters! We need to keep the SPD in power, or else Hitler will get in charge! This is the most important and most basic thing you could do to help Germany stay a democracy. In 6 years, then maybe we can find a better candidate, but no matter what you think about von Hindenburg, he's the best shot we have at keeping the fascists out of power. We can totally push him left!

BREAKING: Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell makes the shocking confession that Republicans are intentionally sabotaging the border to help Trump win the 2024 election.

It’s astonishing that he would admit to plotting something so truly indefensible...

For months, Democrats and Republicans have been crafting bipartisan legislation that would tighten immigration restrictions and also provide much-needed aid to Ukraine.

Now, Republicans don’t want to move forward with it after all of that work because they’re afraid fixing our immigration problems would help Biden in the election. They’d rather let the problem worsen then let Biden get credit for anything.

During a closed-door meeting with Republicans this week, McConnell suggested splitting the immigration and Ukraine funding initiatives into different bills.

“When we started this, the border united us and Ukraine divided us,” said McConnell, according to a source knowledgable about the remarks.

“The politics on this have changed,” McConnell went on, explaining that a chaotic border situation is advantageous for Trump. The ex-president can’t run on fixing immigration if immigration is already fixed.

“We don’t want to do anything to undermine him,” said McConnell. “We’re in a quandary.”

Clearly, despite all of their ranting and whining, Republicans don’t actually care about the border situation. They care about exploiting it — and the suffering that flows from it — for cheap political points.

Republicans love power more than they love this country. It’s that simple.

Why voting for Biden is Crucial for 2024

Right now, we're suffering an alarming issue. Next year we will be voting for the presidential election. It will be Biden vs Trump again. One problem. Biden has made some decisions that weren't popular. Because of that, people are somehow saying he's not deserving of their vote. Okay, I want everyone to remember the last time we had a flawed presidential candidate. Hillary Clinton. Like Joe, Hillary spent 8 years working with Obama and helping him heal America. in 2016, she ran against Trump. But she wasn't squeaky clean. So people decided that they would feel better staying at home or tossing their vote. So not only did we fail at getting the first female POTUS? We got trump in the WH and all that hard work Obama did over 8 years got undone. Those who fail to learn from the past are doomed to repeat its consequences. We vote Biden in for 2024, he and the Democrats can continue their work of healing America, and Trump can no longer run, and the GOP will self-destruct. Or? We repeat the stubbornness of refusing to vote for a Democrat who is flawed, Trump gets into the office again, and we basically lose America to religious fundamentalists. "But Joe is enabling Genocide!" If Trump gets elected, the genocide of women, POC, LGBT, and atheists will happen in our own backyard! Focus on what's happening right in front of you before you focus on a region 3,000 or so miles away. We can deal with the middle east in full after we make sure that there is still a democratic America left to deal with the Middle East conflict. You can't have your cake and eat it! Compromises are one of the things a leader has to make. And we have to decide what we want to compromise. You have the ability to learn from 2016 and make the right decision this time by voting for Joe, flawed democrat or not. I beg of you...please take it! America's future? Or short-term gratification? Choice is yours. Please don't cut off your nose to spite your face.

On "lesser evils"

For the people saying things like "Biden isn't perfect" lets look at what he actually is.

He has done nothing for any group you might care about, be it the working class, queer people, or people of color.

He has/is overseeing the same concentration camps as trump.

He is a rapist.

He is objectively right wing in all of his views.

His existence has pushed the left out of American politics and put a stop to progress.

His right wing policies face no pushback.

Broke strikes (and then was praised when his attempt to break the strikes failed.)

Didn't do anything to stop abortion bans.

If you want to vote for him based on lesser-evilism, then at least understand that you are voting for someone on the political right. And if you don't want to protest him, and still defend him once he's in, then you are accepting the right on the basis that it isn't as far right as possible, or is polite enough for your sensibilities.

I'm not voting for him, on the principle that I will never support a rapist getting into power, no matter what.

Stop acting like he is left wing because he's more polite than trump.

It's a plan created by the GOP to ban abortion, end social security, remove all legal protections for lgbtq+ people and people of color. Environmental regulations would be completely tossed, any alternative sources of energy would be stopped.

All government agencies will be disbanded, like the EPA and Department of Education.

Businesses will be completely unregulated.

Russia would be aided to invade Ukraine.

Israel would be aided to destroy Palestine.
