6. au day (streamers/long distance friends) - (ladynoir)

if this one gets enough love, i might turn it into a regular series! i love the idea of this and have so many ideas so please let me know if you’d like to see that!!!

“Carapace, you better revive me this instant or we’re breaking up,” Rena Rouge screams through Adrien’s headset, virtually rendering him deaf.

“There’s a guy on me, Rena. I’m trying,” the other boy on their team huffs, which doesn’t dissuade Rena’s yelling at all.

In fact, she gets even louder. “Cara, he’s literally dancing on me, oh my god if somebody doesn’t save me before I get fully killed.”

“We’re on our way,” Adrien tells her, though he’s not exactly telling the truth.

Him and Ladybug are sitting in a small box they’ve built after finishing a fight with other players. They were about to go help their teammates when Rena started her rampage on Carapace and they decided it was more fun to sit back and watch them struggle.

At Adrien’s words, Ladybug does an emote that makes her laugh and her character sounds like a donkey wheezing its way through a fit of giggles. Adrien copies her, and before he knows it, the two of them are laughing into their headsets which spurs on groans from Rena and Carapace.

“Well maybe if the two of you wouldn’t have gone ahead of us without telling us,” Rena grumbles sourly.

“Oh stop being such a crybaby, Ren,” Ladybug tells her through her laughter, her and Adrien quickly exiting their box as Nino gets hit and loses damage. “Just because you died to fall damage again and got carried into a box by another player to get danced on—”

Rena makes an inhumane noise, her character spinning on the screen as if she’s thrashing her mouse around. “Let me live, Ladybug! Not all of us have the grace you do when it comes to playing this game.”

“True,” Ladybug agrees, managing to make her way into Rena’s box before Carapace does—Rena’s not going to let him live that down. “If you want me to revive you, say Ladybug has a thick ass and Chat Noir doesn’t.”

It’s Adrien’s turn to groan now. “Hey, that’s not nice, Bug! My ass is thick and you know it.”

It goes silent for a few seconds.

“Do I, Chat? Do I really?” An ounce of amusement is evident in Ladybug’s voice as she talks, Rena’s health counter ticking close to her death. “You wish,” she says, instead.

Rolling his eyes with a grin, Adrien drops the conversation and playfully pouts after Ladybug revives Rena once Rena says her silly phrase. “Rena, I thought you loved me,” Adrien fake-cries with a pout, knowing his chat will clip it and send it to Rena. “I thought what we had was special.”

“Sorry, cat. Carapace is the only man for me. If he ever leaves me, though,” Rena trails off, fully healing her character.

“I’m going to build up and jump off if you keep talking like that,” Carapace replies, building up three times before Rena knocks it down, blowing a kiss at him in game.

“As if I’d ever trade you for a furry, babe.”

The whole furry talk is so funny to Adrien, because he knows he’s not. All four of them picked animals to go by—Ladybug’s being the exception. Adrien’s secret identity is a cat, Rena’s a fox, Ladybug’s is self explanatory, and Carapace is a turtle.

Letting go of his push to talk button, Adrien regards his chat for a moment, sending a pout their way. “I’m not a furry, right chat?”

As always, their flood of yes doesn’t surprise him.

“Traitors,” Adrien hisses, his character getting the last kill to win the game. “The lot of you. Every single person in this chat room is a traitor."

Hundreds of variations of love me, senpai’s scroll over his screen. “I’ll turn off stream, you nasties!”

That only encourages them more.

Ladybug’s laughter immediately fill his ears as she picks up, settling the worry lingering in Adrien’s chest. “You didn’t think I was actually crying, did you kitty?”

“It’s hard to tell through messages,” Adrien murmurs a bit embarrassedly, rubbing at the back of his neck, even though she can’t see him. “I wanted to make sure, okay?”

“God, you’re so sweet,” is what she replies with, in a fond tone that sinks its teeth into Adrien’s heart and does weird things to his stomach. She’s just a friend. She’s just a friend. She’s just a— “One day we’re going to meet, and I’m going to give you the biggest hug.”

Allowing a smile to form on his face, Adrien hums, tapping his fingers into his desk. “You’ll need a step ladder to reach me, Bug.”

“That’s it, I’m hanging up.”

Welcome to my ted talk.

So I just watched Catalyst episode(now one of my favs this season whole series) and I just wanted to share my thoughts about it and how this episode foreshadows certain things that might happen in the last episode..

Marinette faces the task of doing a “heroic deed” (even though she is Ladybug) for her classmates during heroes day. She makes promises to them about preparing an “effortful” tasting of different foods for the whole school (something about cakes, pastries,fruits and stuff..I just based it off the subtitles lol)

Of course the whole class is enticed by her idea especially Adrien (the smol bean really took the time to ask his father if he could go😭)

She tries to convince her parents to help her bake the pastries but their hands are also tied up as well (LB cake for the Mayor) and they couldn’t do anything about it. Marinette doesn’t want to be a disappointment to her class since she has promised them that she will do it.

“I made a big commitment to my class... Now I’m going to disappoint them all.”

Her mom advices her: “There’s still some time to tell them the truth. Your friends will understand.”

She replies along the lines : “that wouldn’t be heroic though”

But her mom tells her this:

“Having the courage to face your mistakes, that’s heroic.”

Instantly she replies back saying:

That’s right! There’s time for me to make these macaroons myself! (Not listening to what her mom just said, she ends up having burnt macaroons for the class. Yum)

My point is this:

Throughout the whole show, we’ve seen Ladybug performing the impossible, doing things her own way and never giving in to other’s opinion. There may be times that her actions depends on other people’s opinions especially when she is Marinette.

In certain episodes, Marinette is also naive and indescisve of her own actions. She tries to either ignore, forget or hide her mistakes which shows her being “human” at some point. SHE AVOIDS CONTRONTATION.

Like in Befana, she doesn’t want to disappoint her grandmother so she decides to hide her true feelings about going to the party while being unaware of the consequences of her own actions to her grandmother.

Or her descision to chicken out last minute when it comes to confessing her feelings to Adrien.

Or her indesciveness when it comes to choosing between Adrien and Luka (you had two hands gurl. CHOOSE BOTH XD. Or just be with Kagami instead XD)

This is contrast to her persona as Ladybug who always seems brave, confident and somewhat decisive in making choices.

And almost all of the time, as Ladybug, she plans things and does things her own way. Although Chat Noir does help her out (even Carpace, Rena Rouge and Queen Bee), she always in control from planning to capturing the akuma.

But unknowingly, a storm is brewing.

This is where Catalyst comes in. The episode initiated change. It is not the change itself but the one merely responsible for it.

This episode poses as a sudden threat to not only the mircaulouses but also to that promise that Ladybug made in the first season: “protecting and keeping Paris safe from harm”.

This will be the starting breaking point that will initiate and foreshadow all conflicts in the last episode of the season which I believe is to happen at the “gala” mentioned by Natalie to Gabriel in the latest episode.

Basing from the current episode, my prediction is that the part 2 “Mayura” episode will begin where it last ended: the heroes may have prepared something for the occassion (of course) in the last scene of Catalyst.

In Mayura, this is where we begin to see Marinette’s shy and indecisive persona mainly emerging from Ladybug as the heroes try to defeat Catalsyt and Hawkmoth.

During S1&2, Ladybug, with Chat noir by her side, had to save and defend Paris from any impeding threat especially Hawkmoth. From a simple task: That’s a heavy burden to carry.

Until now, she faces a much bigger threat and she has all of the heroes by her side (which is awesome since this is the first time we meet them all together in one scene).

Yes, although there would be more hands to help her defeat Catalyst and Hawkmoth. There is also an increase chance of casualties present within the circle.

ThINK OF It. If ever any of them is captured/seized, one miraculous could become a major point for Hawkmoth’s side. By just seizing one of the heroes, hawkmoth could find a way to rat out the others thus, endangering not only themselves but also their families and even the whole of Paris!

Edit: Chat Noir could be a likely candiate for being one of the casualties in the last episode since he didn’t appear in the S3 poster👀

So just think of the burden and pressure that Ladybug has on her hands. Everything has to be perfectly planned out. A single blip, miss/error could practically ruin their chances of winning the game.

So, in Mayura, we could possibly see Ladybug and her gang following the plan to capture and defeat Hawkmoth. Everything goes perfectly but then-

the plan goes wrong.

A rising confict they didn’t expect, has happened.

Whether it is a reveal between characters/ Mayura being introduced in the episode/Natalie or Hawkmoth taking advantage of the situation

this idea might happen before the gala & the gala might be the cliff hanger for season 3. im calling it but i dont want that to happen

Inevitably, the heroes’ plan fails.

Similar to the incident wherein Marinette promises to make the food-tasting a reality in the catalyst episode.

We also begin to see Ladybug in a state of denial during the Mayura episode. She tries to keep everything under control but the plan goes horribly wrong. She tries to convince the heroes to keep on fighting but they couldn’t do it anymore. Similar to the response that she recieved from her parents, they simply can’t commit to do it. Fighting the akumas and saving Paris has come to a maximum limit.

Then, we begin to see the main breaking point: ladybug conflicted, once again, if she is really upto the task of defeating Hawkmoth & Catalyst.

Like in zombizou, now, the task is entirely upto her to fix the situation.

REMEMBER WHAT HER MOM SAID: “There’s still some time to tell them the truth. [They] will understand.” AND “Having the courage to face [it], that’s heroic.”

This is a long shot but I think her mom’s advice will help her at a crucial moment. Because this time, in order to resolve the problem: defeating Hawkmoth. First, she has to confront him. This is where the leaks of Ladybug with Hawkmoth in the secret basement perfectly fits. The episode will slowly unravel long-awaited truths the fandom has all been dying for since the first season. Ultimately, preparing the journey for season 3.

Ladybug gathers up her remaining her strength. Somehow, she captures Hawkmoth and seizes his Miraculous, but not realizing he and his akumas are just the cherry on top. Now, she has to look for the creme of the crop. The queen behind the King: Natalie Catalyst Mayura

While some of the heroes are looking catalyst (who somehow managed to become Mayura at this point), seeing that they have accomplished so much: uniting against all odds and “finally” defeating evil, they decided at some point to call off the search for the mean time as they decide to celebrate (thru the gala) since this time, they have captured Hawkmoth. (Not knowing her true powers) and besides, it’s heroes’ day!

Once again, Paris is now at peace and thanks to the heroes, everyone is safe from harm.

Or at least it seems to be.

As the gala begins, Mayura makes her debut as she disrupts the event, causing chaos

Sounds depressing right? But seeing the latest episode. Chat Noir uses cataclysm on himself... is this even a kid’s show? I won’t be surprised if they pull of a cliff-hanger that will leave the fandom devasted. (I call dibs on this)

But I hope her pals would step in to help her and use all of their remaining strength and power to stop whatever brewing storm may be in the last episode and everything ends with a happily ever after. i dont want a cliff hanger pls

So basically my theory for the Mayura episode:

The episode will focus more on the heroes’ journey of defeating and discovering Hawkmoth’s true identity while setting up Mayura as the main villain for season 3

Details about the Miraculous, Gabriel’s motif behind the miraculous and Momma Agreste will be further revealed

This might be too early but i still want this to happen There will be a crucial point wherein heroes/villains may reveal their real identities to each other

The gala will either be the next main location in the episode wherein the heroes’ plan will take place or it will be the place wherein Mayura will be revealed after Hawkmoth is initially defeated by the heroes—cliffhanger for the next season

PS if my speculations are wrong, at least this idea could be a potential fanfic or something LOL

and llike don’t even get my started on the other few shoujo anime I’ve watched :’v It’s a very specific type I don’t know. For the most part, I like seeing edgy characters act a different way – or seeing how they can change or learn how to be around people. It’s always an endearing story arc for anyone who has that Edgy loner type trope – (in my opinion – Personally, I enjoyed Zuko’s and Keith’s arcs the most, learing to accept team avatar or team voltron as his new found family and all that shit blah blah)

Same goes for Zoe & Kayn. I ship them cos of that? Also cos I feel like Zoe is one of the few champions that can QUITE POSSIBLY MAYBE (just maybe) reverse what rhaast did (which is what i’m trying to do in my comic. I really love that). We can say hey yeah well the other aspects can do that too and aurelion and the other cosmic skinned champs. Well sure! Yeah ofcourse they can – i just chose zoe cos she’s naturally curious and she likes making friends. Among all of them, I feel like she’ll be the most probably one who’ll want to ask or even talk to kayn. I don’t really see leona, diana or Panth rushing to talk to some random shadow boy with a demon arm. COmpared to zoe’s who’s just off looking going on adventures, wanting to make friends. On kayn’s side. I don’t see him like bowing down to authority apart from Zed’s. He sees himself as the best and the only reason why he has this great respect for Zed was because Zed took care of him and in a way fathered him. IThey have a bond. A relationship that in itself, is respectable. Apart from that, i don’t see him bowing down to any form of authority. It’s another reason why I think he’d actually bother with Zoe? She doesn’t really blow off that “authoritative” aura figure that most champs might give or even demand. She’s just the “Hi, Hello, WHo are you? Wanna be my friend?” Casual champ.

I see their first meeting as kayn going who the fuck are? doesnt matter, gonna kill you now. Zoe evading his attacks and Kayn getting annoyed enough to run away from her,realizing she’s this crazy weird ass psycho that he should probably avoid. And zoe realizing oh he’s actually kinda cool … kinda cute too… he’s not scared of me? Is he trying to kill me or play with me? Oh i think he wants to play! Okay lets play 1234 ready of not here i come —– And here and there. Eventually gets used to her being around cos she just wont leave him alone and she’s not really doing anything wrong. And then one day rhaast took over cos he got too complacent, she tries to save him, not for the sake of saving him but for the sake of showing rhaast that she won’t lose to him and … and then so she goes on this crazy journey, meets up with lux, talks to yordles, hears what varus has to say and then (SPOILERS LALALA WAIT FOR THE COMIC TO FIND OUT THE REST) For the most part, it sounds like puppy love and the way I see them is somehow like that anyways.

So yeah. Long story short, The two has a potential story to be told. Okay sure, not as romantic as say Ezreal and lux, Lux and jinx or xayah and rakan – but like, even as friends, they have some sort of story to be told and I guess that’s why i like it. They’re two vastly different and complex characters that are somehow similar in some sort of way and the stories you can create about them be it romantic or friendly or sibling-y — its nice. They have that going on for them. Pls honestly, they’re a funny pair. so comedy’s always nice to tell when it comes to ships. I don’t really care if the end game of this ship isnt marriage or a family. Frankly, I just enjoy creating content and stories about them as is. Every ship doesn’t even HAVE TO end with marriage :v FRANKLY LOTOR AND ALLURA ENDED IN DEATH :’V (yes I’m still salty about voltron season 8)

as for the age thing i’ve explained my side once. Short and sweet. I don’t see zoe as a kid. that’s it. If i was so into the idea of pedo shit, I’d draw zoe to be as small and childlike as annie or Kayn to be as bulky and stocky of a man as graves or braum (older in general). Frankly i draw zoe with curves and Kayn looks like a teenager when i draw him. End of story.

a vancouver native, her mother died giving birth to nicole, so the only family she’s known her whole life are her siblings, who she’s fiercely protective of, and the father she refuses to have any sort of authentic relationship with due to his sporadic absences. just a few months after her thirteenth birthday, papa potter up and moved their small family across the continent to a trailer park in california, where he left them at unannounced times to fend for themselves. while it wasn’t an ideal situation by any means, in a way it gave nicole purpose; taking care of herself and helping take care of her siblings as she matured. not to mention the added responsibility they all shared in paying rent and surviving in general.

while she picked up the odd job at a convenience store or gas station as a teenager, the eldest potter girl had a fascination with the dark web. at a young age, she was incredibly adept with programming and knowing the innards of computers in general, and the internet was like her playground. it started off very innocent, scamming people across the globe to deposit money into her account ( whether it be out of pity, infatuation, or sheer stupidity ). but after toying with malware and developing her own cryptic coding techniques over the years, nicole became something of a little hacker, which is now her main source of income for the family. posing as a cam girl, she coaxes the information needed out of her ‘ clientele ’ before springing an unforeseen attack on them. she doesn’t completely drain their accounts ( unless they’re disgusting pigs and she’s feeling spiteful ), but she certainly walks away with a large chunk from their savings.

in school, she did absolutely stellar with her grades but “didn’t fully apply herself” according to the majority of her teachers, who frankly weren’t incorrect. nicole didn’t give a shit about her education, deeming high school as a ploy to train young minds to live by the same routine, day in and day out, once they graduated and moved onto the real world. however, despite her practiced skill in technological stealth, she couldn’t exactly bring in all this money without everyone in her small neighbourhood growing suspicious of the formerly poor potter’s newly formed middle class wealth.

sO homegirl ended up applying to university anyway, getting accepted into nyu with a computer science major. she packed up her shit at the age of nineteen and moved across the country into the apartment complex she’s now been residing in for a little over five years. of course, nicole still pulls some trickery online with her faux cam girl stunt, but she’s genuinely enjoying school and the internship awarded through her program’s work placement.

Onii-chan, mitte mitte!

Whooo! Before I totally bombarded this post with my fangirling side, again, I'm asking you to feel free to scroll it down if you haven't watch Oni-chan, Episode 10 of MLB.

Soooo yeah! I've noticed so much in this episode and I can't stop laughing last night as I watched this.

1. Lila in the Agreste Mansion - Yeah I know she pulled some strings, make up lies just to go to Adrien's house but that's not my point here. The fact that Adrien lets her in and entertained her idea and lies are the ones I wanted to talk abour here. I'm kinda annoyed to Adrien at that part but at the same time, I can't blame him. He knows for the fact that Lila demands for attention. He's trying to understand her by befriending her. Look at here, guys! That's how charming and innocent our Adriend is! He wanted to understand Lila by spending some moments with her. But then again, poor Adrien, he just drag people in trouble bec of his naive side and his "perfection".

2. Marinette-on-the-Go! Speaking of dragging people into trouble, here's our first victim: Marinette Dupain Cheng. She followed Lila and Adrien on their way and even tried to trespass in the Agreste mansion by building up a trashbin ladder (like seriously, HOW. DID. SHE. DO. THAT?!) The Dupain Chengs never cease to amaze me. Anyways, Marinette told her story to a fireman and got his sympathy and booyeah! Saw Lila's picture with Adrien that she almost lost her cool once again. Sigh! Oh dear Marinette!

3. Kagami as Oni-chan - upon seeing that photo, Kagami bursts into tears and anger that's why she got akumatized. Guys, I want you to focus on this. Kagami. Shed. Tears. Because. Of. Adrien. I mean, is that the normal way of reaction after seeing your crush's photo with another girl? So much tears already??? This shows that Kagami's feelings for Adrien is more than a crush. She liked him very much to the point that he wanted to protect our Adrien's innocence and perfection. Oh, and "Oni" in Japanes means "demon". That's why she implanted a growing horn on Lila's forehead.

4. Oni-chan meets Hawkmoth - Pfffftt... Sorry! I still can't stop laughing upon remembering how Hawkmoth mentioned Oni-chan as he introduced himself. In Japan, "oni" is demon, but they also have "onii-chan" which means "big brother" it's morw of an intimate endearment of sibling love. So yeah, now you understand why it's funny to think how Hawkmoth called upon Oni-chan. Pffffttt!!!

5. Chat Noir vs Adrien Agreste - There's a scene where our two heroes knew why Oni-chan is after Lila -- all because of our dear Adrien! And now, Chat was pissed off by his own perfection. And I also like how he got annoyed by himself and even delivered a line "No one's chasing after me.." (As chat noir)Or something like that. And the scene where he was hit by his OWN poster? Haha damn it was funny!

6. First time - this is the first time that Ladybug was victimized by the villain's power first before Chat Noir. And this is also the first time that she was almost defeated by the villain (by wrapping her up on the post). Good thing Chat is there to save the day!

7. Chat Saves the Day! When he found out that Lila hated Ladybug, his eyes were finally open with the truth! He even had the idea of bringing Oni-chan to him using Lila's magical horn. They fought, and I'm so happy that he finally used his fencing skills to defeat Kagami (Oni-chan). Not to mention that he was also taking LB's call while fighting. Hehe

8. No "Pound it!"? So sad that they didn't get to do the "pound it" fist bump bec Chat took Kagami home. He was concerned about her that he set aside LB for a while which hurts a little. There might be a theory where Kagami would be the one to change Adrien's heart but knowinh our innocent baby boy, that's not going to happen!

9. "I trust him" & "No more" - When Lila flirts with Adrien again the next day, Marinette didn't panicked the way she did before. She told Alya that she trusts Adrien. Oh-kay... Where did it come from? What made her trust him now? What made our Marinette changed her mind? Hmmm.... Anyways! On the other hand, Adrien finally cuts off Lila telling her that he can't tolerate her lies especially if she's hurting the "person he loves" which we all know that it's LB (I think? Haha).

10. Gabriel & Lila - I don't like where is this going but on the last part of the episode, Gabriel meets Lila and even shook her hand which shows truce, partnership, etc. Wow Gabriel, you're getting desperate now to the point of sacrificing your son's innocence to be with that lying bitch. Ugh! Ticks me off!

Anyways, I'm looking forward for next MLB episodes. Thomas, pls more scenes for our ships! Haha

A moment, if you will...

So currently Marinette plays the part of “oh gosh golly! It’s Chat Noir! A REAL superhero! Cool! Sugoi!” when Chat is around right? But is really like PFFT. What a dork.

Hilarious. Our leading lady is just letting him eat this shit up and it’s comedy gold because when she does it Adrien is clearly THRIVING on it. And we all remember that “Arch leap into a barrel roll!” moment like....our son is just just one giant anime cliche and it almost hurts to watch LOL

ANYWAY! So consider Chat Noir figures out Marinette is LB first. I’m not going to get into specifics let’s just skip that for now because picture this pls!

Chat goes to see Marinette and she’s like “Oh! The hero of Paris! *back of hand to forehead* it’s Chat Noir! To what do I owe this honor!” like she once again lays it on so thick and internally Adrien is like

THIS IS LADYBUG.

OH MY GOD THIS IS LADYBUG.

MARINETTE IS LADYBUG AND SHE’S TRYING TO ACT LIKE A STARSTRUCK CIVILIAN THIS IS AMAZING. THIS IS HILARIOUS!!!!

So he just eats it up. Let’s her play the part as much as she wants. Just sits there for a moment and let’s her hype him every time he talks to her and of course internally she’s like “pfft silly kitty. he thinks he’s so cool, he’s so fooled” and Adrien is just barely keeping his composure.

And of course now seeing her in this new light, knowing she’s Ladybug, makes this act so ridiculous. And he has his own reasons to be a bit embarrassed. She has no reason to fawn over him, and she’s never been a damsel in distress, not really even as Marinette, so of course he was kinda silly to fall, but MAN the amount of ammunition he has on her....

I can just picture Marinette’s red face when he tells her he knows.

“Never knew you felt that way about me bugaboo!”

“Well of course! After all you’re the savior of Pari-WHAT!!!!”
