Hot take, but i see Zenyatta's and Ramattra's dynamic like Ahsoka's and Anakin's dynamic. Looking at their story, their interactions, the lore behind Null Sector and the lore with Zenyatta. Both are warrior monks, one takes the other under his wing, but the duo eventually finds the dogmatic approach of the temple restrictive and unhelpful for truly maintaining peace. One finds their own path to resolving conflict, individual and distinctly separate from the temple (Zenyatta, Ahsoka), the other proposes authoritarian control to maintain peace and order, rejecting the temple, and hurting those they wish to protect (Anakin, Ramattra). Ramattra is fighting due to fear and anger, scared of loosing those dear to him (Anakin vibes). Zenyatta is fighting due to a desire to help peoples find peace, and to find his purpose (Ahsoka vibes). With that said, I could be completely wrong, but Ram and Zen really do seem something like Ahsoka and Anakin's dynamic to me, like found family siblings, brother and sister, mentor and mentee, eventually breaking away from each other in a tragic loss, and that's why I cannot for the life of me ship Ram and Zen under that interpretation lol. They are brothers, both in the monastic and found family sense.

spectragus dont get enough credit for being a sun and moon ship but like. destructive sun and moon ship. sun and moon ship but they're the forces of nature the sun and moon actually are. the sun is harsh and relentless and unpredictable in its evil but also it's kindness, the moon is sharp and cold and cruel, a harsh light that doesn't allow you peace, but can also guide you, a light in the darkness. even on nights with a new moon, with no light in the sky, the moon is always reflecting the sun, and it'll be that way until they come to their end.

#just thinking about how good stray was again #listening to the stray ost while playing cp2077 #trying it again after all the bug fixes and im having more fun with it now but like.... #its such a futile game #i love the genre in theory but so much of it is just so unnecessarily gritty and edgy #where is the hope #whats the point in having a backdrop of despair and grit and struggle of there is no hope to contrast it #also where is the love. where is the community #cp2077 is mostly about saving yourself. which is futile #i said back after cp2077 came out that the outer worlds was a better cyberpunk game #because it still sticks to the late capitalist/corp owned/exploitative/tech advanced/dystopia of the genre #(in space) #but its also a game about hope. your character is literally a passanger from the ship named the hope #and the goal is to save the other passangers (who were left in cryosleep bc the corps didnt care about saving them) #and to hopefully save the planetary system from a slow painful deaths at the hands of corporations who only wish to save themselves #plus all the other smaller main missions in the game. edgewater. monarch. and how u choose to get factions to work together #i just see so many people praise cp2077 for its despair and edginess cuz its 'fitting for the genre' but eeehhhhhh #sorry but thats boring. give me hope please #cyberpunk as a genre needs more hope in it tedtalk over #it speaks

*sigh* I feel like my fankid designs just aren’t that good

I mean the designs themselves aren’t like, horrible or something, I mean more in the sense that they don’t feel like fankids, they feel more like I take elements from two characters and make another character from them

I dunno, maybe it’s just because I don’t have time to really think about the characters I make and what should go into their designs. Last I counted, I’ve had approximately 65 requests, plus the 4 I’ve personally added, and I try to get 1-3 done every day (well aside from weekends and breaks, but even then I feel guilty if I do that) because I don’t want to keep people waiting. As such, I just don’t have the time to think about it too long. And I don’t have the time to really understand the ships or the dynamics that would come from them, and how that’d affect the hypothetical kid, so I just come up with whatever I can think of. Honestly the thing that tends to take the most time is figuring out what to name them after, and even then I don’t think I do enough. I just find something that’s either a combination of the two or is just a variation of one

Maybe I’m being too hard on myself, but recently I’ve seen some other people make fankids for their ships and they look really cool and creative, and I feel like mine comparatively just aren’t very good. I mean granted for those people those fankids were for ships they actively ship and make stuff for, so they probably have a much better grasp on them than me, also they’re not cranking out 5+ on a weekly basis, so that probably gives more room for creativity and thought
