author's note: I'm not a fan of what I did here and I wouldn't even feel bad if y'all hated me for it bc it's just shit in my eyes, but I also don't have the capacity to change it or write it anew but I also didn't wanna leave it unfinished. that's all.
part 1 part 2 part 3
◃▹◃▹◃▹◃▹◃▹◃▹◃▹◃▹◃▹◃▹◃▹◃▹◃▹◃▹◃▹◃▹
You don't want to move to the OBX, but it's what your father expects of you and it's a promotion. You'll be in charge of the division, hiring new brokers, taking care of business. It’s a huge step forward from all the number pushing you had to do the last year since Florida was opened.  But, just like you predicted, it had been worth it, and now you're supposed to actually bring in good numbers from the island strip.  And on top of that, you are sure that you're over him. A whole year is a long time after all.
“And the beach is just gorgeous,” you tell your friend Parker, who helped you move. You're both standing in the new office building, looking out of a window, not noticing Rafe's approaching behind you.  “That wholly depends on what side of the island you're on,” Rafe comments, and you turn around to look at him. His polo shirt hugs his muscles perfectly and the shorts sit a bit low. It's in stark contrast to the very formal rosé colored suit you're wearing.  But the worst part of it is that your heart starts fluttering just a little when his blue eyes rake over you.  “We'll find out soon enough,” you hit him back and take Parker's hand, intertwining your fingers, and to your own luck he just goes with it. You had been friends for too long for him to question your moves, and he also knew way too much about what had happened between Rafe and you.  “Good,” Rafe smiles and turns to walk into his office.  “Okay, y/n/n, I get it, but you're also crushing my hand,” Parker laughs lightly, and you let go of him.  “I'm gonna be so okay. Yes. I'll just be okay. Right?” you tell yourself and walk into your office to set it up.
When you go out for lunch, Rafe simply joins you uninvited. You focus on Parker, on pretending that you're with him, not just because you have to keep your mind from slipping to Rafe. But mostly because you want to know if he's going to be jealous.  And from the way his jaw clenches when you kiss Parker's cheek, it seems to be working.
However, it's only working for a week, because your friend has to go back home and the moment he's gone you jump headfirst into work. If you won't let your mind rest, it can't think of Rafe. That's your strategy.  It's a flawed one though, because after three weeks of excessive paperwork and hiring new staff, you find your desk empty, nothing left to do. At least not enough to keep you occupied for more than a few hours each day.
“There's an issue with the Campbell property,” Rafe says while walking into your office, not having knocked. “I thought you might want to look at it before I make a decision.” He hands you the papers, and you look over it, but you can't find any mistakes on it.  “And what's your verdict?” you ask, hoping that it'll help you figure out what might be wrong, because even after reading the notes a third time, you still can't find the problem.  “You work too much,” he shrugs and you drop the paper.  “What?”  “Nothing. It's a numbers issue, see,” Rafe points at the yard size. “They say it's 0.7 acres, but it's actually just below 0.6 acres.” “How do you know that?” “Because I've been to that house. Do you want to risk us getting sued?” he cocks his brow up and you sigh.  “I'll send Darryl to measure it out. Anything else?”  “Your boyfriend isn't around as much as I thought he'd be.” Rafe lets his fingers run over the glass of your desk, and you bite the inside of your cheek to not smile. The small glimpse of jealousy makes your heart skip a beat. It's stupid, really, because you don't know each other, you shouldn't feel like that for a guy you had slept with twice over a year ago. And yet, you still did.  “Parker has his work, and I have mine,” you smile politely.  “I see. Well, the Campbell thing,” Rafe notes before walking out again, and your heart is still pounding like crazy after the small interaction.
You keep working, trying to keep your distance and he does the same. Only talking when it's really necessary to keep the office out of the reds.  You don't notice that he keeps eyeing you when you're not looking, that he makes sure that the kitchen is always stocked with your favorite snack. And you don't know that he notices how the small packets only ever go missing when you have a rough day or had an unplanned call from your father. And that you dress more so provocatively when you have a showing than when it's just an office day. Or how you strip off your heels when you sit at your desk for more than five minutes. He picks up on all of your little antics, and he doesn't even want to, he's over it just as much as you, but he can't help it either.
And for the brokers open two months after your start in the OBX he makes sure that the caterer has a non-seafood option alongside the tiny lobster rolls and crab cakes. Because he knows you don't eat it, and he wants to get on your good side again, although he's aware that food won't be the way to do it.
“Old fashioned?” Rafe holds the glass out for you, and you take it with a hushed “thank you.” “That's what you had the-”  “I remember,” you look up at him, his hair is cut back to a buzz cut, and you don't know if you like it as much. It does accentuate his features though, which isn't a bad thing at all. The sharp nose and high cheekbones, the crooked smile he always greets you with- No, you can't let yourself think of him again. It was hard enough as is, to survive living and working so close to him.  “You look good,” Rafe nods at you, and you don't know what to reply. The short black dress is showing off more than you intended to, but your best friend Claire convinced you to put it on anyway when you called her earlier that day.  “Uhm… thanks,” you mumble and let your eyes run over him, half buttoned shirt and suit pants. He hadn't dressed up at all and the fact that he didn't need to, and your heart was still racing, was speaking volumes. “You clean up nice too,” you tell him and look away again.
You try mingling, networking a little and gossiping a little less. But when you overhear a broker from a different brokerage talk about Rafe you simply can't stop yourself. The words coming out of her mouth won't add up to the Rafe you know and try to hate.  She talks about dark escapades and less intriguing things but follows them up with a harsh comment on his person. Maybe she is jealous, you choose to believe that rather than what she keeps talking about. There's nothing less believable than all the atrocious things she mentions and yet when you look at yourself in the mirror of the restroom later that night, you think it doesn't matter. Everyone has a past after all.  “He's not like that anymore, right?” you ask yourself quietly after freshening up your lipstick.
You see Rafe standing at the side, not wanting to talk to anyone, and you start to realize why. You start to understand why he never ate lunch in the kitchen with you or the team.  “Networking is part of the job,” you remind him while placing yourself next to him.  “Not with this folk,” he replies dryly.  “You shouldn't care what they say.” You look up at him and meet his gaze.  “I don't. Do you?”  “I don't think it's possible to do this job if you're not a stone-cold killer at heart.”  He flinches at your wording but he nods. “Are you?”  “Have to.”  “You don't though,” he seems almost sorry, but he turns away again, nipping on his drink.  “Didn't get a choice much,” you mumble absentmindedly.
“Contradictory,” Rafe huffs a laugh.  “What?”  “You. It's contradictory. You saying you didn't get a choice after telling me you made the choice freely,” he looks at you again, eyes scanning your face.  “Didn’t think you'd remember,” you mutter and turn around, wanting nothing more than to vanish into thin air, but his hand shoots out to grasp your wrist.  “Don't go, please.”  “Why?” you turn around to look at him sternly. “I'm sorry, about all of it,” he apologizes, and let's go again.  “I'm over it,” you lie.  “You're really not,” he whispers and steps closer. “And it's my fault, all of it. I'm sorry, sugar.”
“Are the stories true? The shit they talk about you behind your back?” you ask and he nods.  “Okay,” you say and he furrows his brows.  “You don't care?”  “Not really. I mean, that was then and now is now. I know the crazy shit people do when they're high,” you shrug, and he looks a bit confused. “And the daddy issues on top of that. I mean, I get it. We've both got our fair share of daddy issues, right?”  “Right,” Rafe drags out the word, he truly didn't expect you to not care about it at all. If anything, he thought you might run again, and the fact that you don't is confusing him.  “Do you wanna get out of here and get hammered?” you whisper, and a grin spreads on your face when he takes your hand and pulls you away.
That's how you find yourself bent over your own desk, mind hazy and a moaning mess as he fucks you.  “Too much,” you cry but Rafe just laughs. “I know you can take it, baby.” And you know he's right, but you love to be told over and over again.  “You're so good to me. So tight, sugar.”  “Gonna cum,” you moan, and he stops, pulls out and makes you turn around.  “Sit up, pretty girl, and look at me.” You follow the order, sitting up and moving to the very edge of the table before he pulls your legs over his shoulders and enters you again.
His hand presses down on your stomach and you groan. It's all too much, and he's making it worse, moving to press on your clit with his thumb before drawing harsh circles and your eyes roll back in response.  “Cum for me, baby,” he rasps into a kiss, biting down on your bottom lip when your orgasm rips through you, squeezing him so hard that he can't hold it in anymore and shoots his hot cum into your pulsating core. “Fuck, you're perfect. So hot. Missed you so much,” Rafe pants, still buried deep inside of you and not ready to actually let go.  “Forgot how big it was,” you whisper and feel him twitching inside you. It’s just a silly little note, but it's all he needed to get hard again and fuck you again, not caring about the mess you were making.
“Bet he's not fucking you like that,” Rafe pants, and you don't know what he's talking about, but you let it slide, too focused on the pleasure he was giving you.  “Mine. All mine,” he rambled, lips attached to your neck, nipping at the skin and leaving a plethora of open-mouthed kisses on it.  “Yours, daddy. All yours,” you moan and hold onto him tighter, pressing yourself against him to try to force him into you deeper.  “Soak me, pretty,” he breathes against your lips, one hand holding your jaw, the other between your legs, rubbing your clit. And his blue eyes are barely visible as he stares into yours.  “Make me,” you hush but scream when he pinches your clit before rubbing it again.  “Don't be a brat, sugar. Come on. Soak daddy's dick,” he grins, drops of sweat running down his toned body, and you swear you'd lick him clean all over if he let you. And when his tongue once again entangles with yours, your eyes roll back and your legs tremble. Screaming at the high he managed to give you and far past it as he fucks you through it and empties his load into you for the second time.
And the next few weeks you spend the same, pretending like nothing happened while letting him fuck you every single night. You don't want to talk about all the things that you should clearly talk about.  Like the fact that he still believes that you have a boyfriend up in New York, or that he keeps staying longer until he falls asleep next to you, and you don't have the heart to kick him out.  But you groan when you wake up and see him try to get ready as quietly as he can.
“What are you doing?”  “Didn't mean to wake you, sugar,” Rafe apologizes and leans over you, placing a kiss on your lips.  “Don't go,” you whisper as he hovers over you. “I don't want you to go.”  “Are you sure?” he asks and you nod again. It takes him less than ten seconds to strip himself of his pants and jump back into bed.
Your head is nuzzled into his neck while you hold onto him, somewhat scared that'll it's just a dream.  “I think you should break up with your boyfriend,” Rafe mumbles.  “Boyfriend?” you pull away with furrowed brows.  “Yeah. Not really fair to him. Not really fair to us,” he doesn't look at you as he says it.  “Us?” It's not that the term itself is confusing to you, but more so the fact that it's coming from him. That he's saying it so casually.  “Yeah. If you didn't have that Parker guy, I could actually take you out, show you off,” he whispers and finally lowers his eyes to see your awestruck face. “What?”
“You want to date me?”  “I would yes. Is that hard to believe?”  “I'm me, and you're… you,” you answer, but he just kisses you, hoping to smother all your doubts with it.
“Rafe?” you whisper and he nods. “Parker isn't my boyfriend, I just wanted to make you jealous,” you admit with a whisper and to your surprise he starts laughing. “What's so funny?”  “I didn't even think of that,” he laughs and starts plastering you in kisses. “So smart. So perfect. So pretty,” he says in between kisses.  “Do you really think so?” you ask, and he nods repeatedly, a smile playing on his lips.  “You're so beautiful, y/n.”  “Okay,” you blush and try to hide under the sheets, but he pulls them down to kiss you again and again, and you don't think he'd ever want to stop, and you wouldn't tell him to either.

Jessie Fleming x Reader
Summary: Sometimes you forget Jessie’s an engineer. A very thoughtful, but shy one at that. One who feels more comfortable renovating your apartment than telling you she likes you.
Warnings: No warnings.
A/N: I'm hearing some fluff is in order. Hope you all enjoy!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Where do you want this?" Jessie asked as she stood holding a large box in the doorway to your new bedroom.
You looked over your shoulder and pointed to the walk-in closet. "Over there would be great. Thank you."
"No problem," Jessie replied as she walked over and set the box down. She looked around as she stood. "Are you doing anything with the shelving in here?"
"Oh yeah," you said as you got up and joined her. "I'm going to move these shelves up and add another set here to create more storage."
"Smart. That'll be good," Jessie affirmed as she scanned the space.
You tried not to stare, but her profile, curious eyes, and the way her baby hairs stuck to her face after several trips to and from the moving truck made it challenging.
"Hey, I think that's everything."
Both you and Jessie turned when Janine's voice filtered in from the bedroom, seeing Kelli standing beside her.
"Oh amazing. Thank you so much, all of you. I'm sure your coach would have my head if he knew you helped me move, but I'm very grateful. And hey - no injuries! Knock on wood. I guess you all still have to make it home in one piece," you joked.
"Anytime," Janine said as she crossed the room and gave you a hug. "The new digs look great. Condo ownership looks good on you."
You laughed. "Thank you. And it's even better when highly trained athletes do all the heavy lifting for you."
"No unpacking though," Kelli joked. "That's where I draw the line." You held up your hands in mock surrender.
"I can handle that part. Thank you. Next round of dinner and drinks are on me."
Once everyone left and you continued the tedious task of unpacking, your phone dinged with a text. You retrieved it to see Jessie's name on the screen.
"Hey. I hope unpacking is going well. I just wanted to say that if you need any help redoing your shelves I'm happy to swing by. I like projects like that."
A small smile tugged at the corners of your mouth.
"Sometimes I forget you're an engineer. You've done so much as is - I already rolled the dice by getting you to help me move furniture and precariously packed boxes. I don’t want to push."
"I really don't mind! And setting up shelves is a lot less risky than holding the bottom end of the couch on the stairs while Kelli and Janine argue about how to angle it through a doorway."
You laughed recalling the scene in your mind. She had a point. Plus, spending some time alone, just the two of you, wouldn't be unwanted.
You'd met through Janine a few months back and had become friends in your own right since then, but it was still the norm that you typically only saw each other with Janine. This could be a nice change of pace. And, you know, if seeing her work in such a capacity would turn out to be eye candy - so be it.
"Alright. You've convinced me. When are you free? And please, please know that if you change your mind it's really not a problem at all. Please don't feel pressured or obliged."
"Excellent! Does next Sunday work for you? I'd say Saturday, but we have a game that afternoon."
"I'm aware lol. I'll be there, after all. Sunday sounds great."
"Right lol. Okay, Sunday it is! Let me know if you need me to pick anything up prior. I'm happy to."
"You're too sweet. See you then."
-----
"You brought your own drill set?" You asked with an amused smile. The blush on Jessie's face was immediate.
"Well, I didn't know what you had." Her voice rising in pitch. "And I have a spare battery. There's nothing worse mid-project than running out of a charge."
"Nothing," you mocked affectionately and she averted her gaze as her cheeks grew redder. You smiled at her and ushered her to the walk-in. "Okay, well, between the two of us I think we're all set. Let's get started."
It didn't take long for it to become Jessie leading and you helping. Going in, you felt you had a decent grasp of what to do, but as the work progressed, you realized how good it was that Jessie was here because she guided things with confidence and ease that you had to admit you probably wouldn't have had in her absence.
You were expecting this to be an all day venture, but with Jessie at the helm the work went by quickly and smoothly.
"Hand me that last shelf, please," she instructed calmly as she double-checked her work.
You were ready with it and handed it up to her. You watched in what you hoped was subtle appreciation as she set it in place.
She stood perched on the ladder, wearing her black hat and her shirt was tucked in. The tape measure was hooked onto her pocket and she wore a soft look of concentration on her face. When she took the shelf, her biceps popped as she lifted it and set it down on the brackets with ease. The pencil tucked behind her ear was the cherry on top.
Once she was confident the shelf was secure, she turned to you with a bright smile.
"All done! What do you think?"
"It's fantastic," you relayed, forcing yourself to refocus. And it was true. Not only was her workmanship thorough, but she'd tweaked a few things in your plan to optimize the setup even further. "Thank you so much. This is better than what I could've imagined. I owe you big time."
She shrugged and focused on her feet as she stepped down off the ladder. "No, it's all good. It was fun."
"Well, I really appreciate it. Truly," you went on, seeking eye contact, but she seemed to readily avoid it as she began cleaning up her tools. Eventually, she looked to you with a small smile.
"Don't mention it. Thanks for letting me help."
You rolled your eyes teasingly. "You're funny. Can I at least order us in some dinner and make you a drink or two?" You saw her begin to hesitate, a blush creeping up on her cheeks as she fidgeted. Early on, you would've immediately backed off, fearing you were making her truly uncomfortable, but by this point you knew she was just shy. And a bit skittish. You went on gently. "Consider it a small token of my appreciation."
She gave you a crooked smile as she distractedly readjusted her hat before seeming to catch herself and clasped both hands in front of her. "Okay, sure. That sounds good."
You two talked fairly late into the night and you noted how Jessie relaxed into the evening. Conversation was easy and naturally weaved from the light and fun to the more serious and heavy without getting uncomfortable or awkward. The night only came to an end because you had to work in the morning.
"Thank you again for all of your help," you told her as she stood at your front door, shoes, jacket and backpack on. "Not only does the closet look great, but it was a lot of fun - thanks to you. I can't help but think about projects half that serious that I've done with exes and they've turned into all out brawls. So, thank you."
Her posture straightened slightly and as she blushed with a nervous laugh. "Well, what can I say. We work well together." If you were right, the flush of her cheeks deepened. She averted her gaze, shuffling her feet a bit before she shoved her hands in her jacket pockets and nodded over your shoulder.
"You said you were going to change out the lighting fixtures in the living room, right?" She asked. Her smile morphed into a smirk. "I mean, I'm not an electrical engineer, but a couple lighting fixtures is no big deal. I could come over next week and help with those."
You gave her a smirk of your own, unknowingly looking her up and down.
"If you'd really like to. I certainly won't stop you."
The easy confidence she was trying to channel a moment ago flickered before she gave you a nonchalant shrug.
"Sure. It's not a problem."
"Alright," you accepted. "I'm looking forward to it. Thanks again, and good night." You leaned forward and pulled her into a short hug - something you hadn't done before - and it seemed to catch her off-guard as she very belatedly put her hands up around you as you were already beginning to pull away, and even then, her movements were stiff and tentative. When you fully broke away her face was beet red.
"Okay." Her voice was high and tight. She gave you a quick, awkward wave before turning to leave. "Have a good night."
-----
The next weekend rolled around and Jessie was yet again up on a ladder in your new apartment. She tilted her head and frowned in concentration as she installed the last set of screws on your new lighting fixture.
"Okay, go ahead and turn the breaker back on," she told you as she stepped down and walked over to the light switch. You did as you were told.
"Okay, done."
The switch went on with a soft click and light filled the room. You watched her before looking up at the newly installed fixture. She smirked.
"Looks good," she said. “How do you like it?”
“It's brilliant. Thank you again. But what I’m really interested in is this,” you said as you closed the space between you two and grasped her hand, she tensed at the contact, but didn’t pull away. You lifted her hand to see the cut on her knuckle.
“I knew it. Let’s get you cleaned up,” you said and at that she pulled her hand back, hiding it behind her back.
“It’s nothing. I’m fine.”
“I know you are, but still,” you told her gently, noting the embarrassed look on her face. “Indulge me. Let me at least put a bandaid on it.”
She grumbled in contemplation but eventually conceded. You smiled to yourself at how her head jerked away when you glanced up from her hand to catch her staring at you.
When you finished placing the bandaid on her you released her hand and took a step back. You waited to catch her eye and spoke, “Make sure you clean that up more when you get home.”
Her cheeks grew pink and she rolled her eyes. You caught the hint of a smile on her lips though.
“Yes, ma’am.”
Jessie stayed for dinner and a drink once more. Conversation flowed even easier, if that’s possible, than last time. You tried to hide the smile over how pleased you were by this since you and Jessie had been texting all week in between. It would've been understandable if you ran out of things to talk about by this point, but you didn’t - at all.
"I noticed there were a couple of dings in the drywall - probably from when we were moving stuff in. Probably Janine's doing - I'm much more conscientious," Jessie relayed with a facetious eye roll. "I could patch those up for you. I imagine the previous owners left some of the original paint or we could just get it paint matched."
You smirked at her from across the couch.
"You know, we could always just hang out - no reno job required. You don’t have to do something every time."
She blushed and took a sip of her drink.
"Oh, well, you know. I don’t mind."
"Well, how about we just hang out next time. If you are desperate to repair the drywall even after that, well, have at 'er. But maybe a work-free, normal hang out would be nice," you told her with a soft laugh. She nodded, blush fading as she returned your smile.
“Okay, that sounds like a plan." She swirled her drink, looking down at the churning liquid and speaking into it. "You could come over to my place? I could make us dinner. Or whatever." She finally mustered up the courage to look back up at you.
Now it was your turn to blush. You fiddled with your glass and offered her a hint of a smile. "Okay. That sounds nice."
————
“Whoa. That’s fancy,” Jessie commented as you set down a nice bottle of Chardonnay on her counter.
“Well, it’s my first time over. I had to break out the good stuff for you.”
Jessie grinned and retrieved a couple of glasses for you before setting down two plates of food on the kitchen table.
“This looks amazing,” you told her as you looked at the meal she prepared. “And I can’t help but think this just isn’t fair. You did all this free work for me and now you’ve made me dinner.”
“Was it free?” She squinted at you teasingly. “You had to listen to me babble on about metric versus imperial for a solid 20 minutes there.”
“I didn’t mind. I’d listen to that any day. I like hearing your facts and tidbits and about whatever you're interested in,” you assured her and she tried to conceal her smile. “How’d you become so handy anyway? I mean, I know you have this engineering background now, but still.”
She shrugged. “I liked helping my dad with projects around the house. Helping him build stuff. It was just always fascinating to me to see things come together like that and to know you did it with your own two hands.”
“That’s cute. And very sweet,” you told her as you took a bite. She dismissed your comment with a small wave of her fork.
“It’s not a big deal.”
“Well. I still think it’s cute. And I certainly reaped the rewards. Thank you again - seriously, for all of your help. You didn’t have to help me, and I really appreciate all the work you did.”
She took a sip of wine and peered at you over the glass, taking a moment to contemplate.
“There’s still that matter of the drywall,” she joked.
“You’re still on that, huh?” You said with a laugh. “What are we going to do when there are no projects left to work on?”
A faint blush began to form on Jessie’s face and she shuffled around in her chair a bit before taking a bite of food.
“There are always projects to be done. And if not, well, you’re the one who said we could hang out without a project to work on.”
You propped your elbow on the table and rest your chin in your open palm. “And the offer still stands. Clearly,” you gestured around her apartment. “If you’re interested.” Jessie dropped your gaze and flushed a deeper tone of pink.
“Yeah. I mean, we get along alright.”
You snickered a bit before taking a sip of your drink.
“What resounding affirmation," you said dryly and she shot you a bashful look. You smirked. "I guess it’s settled then.”
You polished off the bottle of wine that evening and your conversation carried you late into the night. You made a point of not checking the time and Jessie made no attempt to either. You had to work in the morning, but you just didn't care. You'd deal with the consequences later.
At some point though, an inevitable yawn escaped Jessie.
“Oh, I should let you get to sleep,” you offered, though not yet moving from your spot on the couch next to her. You were sitting across from one another and you were very aware of how if either of you shifted in a particular way, your legs would brush.
“No, it’s fine,” she dismissed. “I’ll get my second wind here in no time.” You chuckled and finally checked your phone. Your eyes went wide.
“Oh shit,” you laughed. “Well, I’ve worked off of less sleep before.”
“You didn’t tell me you were working,” she frowned at you. “Yeah, some clients are in from out of town. It’s okay, I wanted to hang out with you.” You reluctantly rose from the couch and she followed. “As much as I'm enjoying myself, I should go. I can get about 4 hours of sleep if there are no delays on the train.”
“You are not taking the train,” Jessie told you in the most stern voice you’d ever heard from her. It actually caught you off guard and you ignored the stirring in your chest at her display.
“Fine. An Uber,” you conceded.
“No. I’ll drive you,” she countered.
“Don’t be silly.” You waved her off. “You’re tired too and I’m not making you drive 30 minutes across town and back at this hour.”
“Then…I don't know, just spend the night.” She immediately held up her hands in defense. “Not like that. I just mean…it’s super late, getting home is going to be a pain. I’ll drive you home in the morning whenever you’re ready.”
“Jessie…” It was tempting. The logic wasn’t entirely bulletproof, but reasonable enough.
In the time you took to start contemplating, Jessie had run to the closet and started pulling out spare pillows and blankets. You looked at them when she returned and gave her a discerning look. You didn’t feel uncomfortable, you just didn’t want to intrude.
“I’ll take an Uber in the morning.” You told her and she gave you an easy smile as she began setting up the couch.
“I’ll drive you,” she repeated nonchalantly.
“Oh my god. You’re so stubborn,” you complained half-heartedly.
“Sometimes,” she admitted with a shrug as she went to her room for a few moments and came back out with a set of pyjamas.
“Don’t tell Janine. She’ll never let me hear the end of this,” you warned in mock petulance as you went to take the clothes from her. She pulled her fingers across her lips, feigning a zipping motion.
“She wouldn’t let me hear the end of it either, so I'd say we're now partners in crime,” she laughed, but held the clothes back from you. “These are mine. Yours are on the bed.”
“Huh?” You asked, giving her a blatant look of confusion.
“I’m sleeping out here. You take the bed,” she returned lightly and before you could retort she gently began to corral you towards her bedroom.
“Jessie.” You protested. “Are you nuts? I’m taking the couch.”
“Incorrect,” she refuted before giving you one final, soft push into the room. “I’ll see you in the morning.” She looked up at the ceiling, seeming to calculate something in her head. “6 am?”
“Yeah,” you confirmed, still giving her a lingering look of disapproval. Before you could conjure a retort, she went on.
"This is my house, so what I say goes," she said rather haughtily, coupled with a subtle smirk. She was evidently very pleased with herself and her mannerisms had you too distracted, a small flutter echoing in your chest, so you let it be. You rolled your eyes.
“Fine. Okay. Well, if you change your mind - feel free to kick me out. Of your bedroom or the apartment - either is fine.”
“Now who’s nuts,” she quipped. Her light and easy demeanour wavered slightly as she paused in the doorway and ran a hand through her hair. “Um, well, bathroom’s through there. Help yourself to whatever. Good night.”
You were still in vague disbelief about how the last part of the night had unfolded as you lay in Jessie’s bed, wearing her clothes. Had you previously imagined being in Jessie’s bed? Yes. Did you imagine this? No. Certainly not.
All things considered, you slept pretty well. You didn't expect yourself to, so it was a surprise when your alarm went off. It took you a few moments for your mind to reconcile the unfamiliar surroundings, but you quickly came to. You sat up, the first rays of morning light illuminating the room and you observed them in a more lucid headspace than you had the night before.
The room was neat, organized, minimalistic in a way, but still had plenty of things that made it Jessie. A few framed photos of family and friends, her camera, a few, select books neatly displayed, some cute trinkets from her trips around the globe - no medals on display though. How typical.
A sound from the kitchen pulled you from your observations with a frown. You thought you were hearing things at first until you heard a few more faint sounds.
You quickly got changed and tentatively opened the bedroom door a crack to peer out. Not only was Jessie up already, she was in the middle of making breakfast. You opened the door the rest of the way with a puzzled look on your face. She turned to you with a smile.
"Morning! How did you sleep?"
"How long have you been up?" You asked instead. She glanced at her watch.
"I don't know. 30 minutes maybe? So, how did you sleep?" She repeated her inquiry.
"Shockingly well," you replied with a light laugh as you leaned on the kitchen counter and watched her work. "How about you? Miss I-insist-on-taking-the-couch."
She shot you a smirk over her shoulder as she scrambled the eggs in the frying pan. "I slept perfectly well, thank you," she relayed pointedly. "Coffee?" She asked.
"Please."
"Black, right?"
You smiled at her. "Yes, thank you. Can I do anything to help you?"
"Nope, just about done," she told you as she handed you a travel mug with steaming hot coffee. "For the road," she explained.
You watched Jessie as she turned back to the stove and continued making breakfast. For a split second, you pictured yourself as a couple in this moment. Easy mornings together, sharing breakfast and coffee, talking about your day ahead, kissing each other goodbye and going your separate ways until you came home to one another. You cleared your throat and shook out your head subtly as you came back to reality. You didn't want to get too far ahead of yourself.
You both ate a quick breakfast together, and took your toast and coffee to go. Jessie navigated through traffic on the way to your apartment. You scolded yourself internally for how you found something as simple as Jessie driving, attractive. Okay, maybe you really had it bad for her.
"I have to say, I feel like I'm 18 again or something," you joked. "Getting 4 hours of sleep, going through a whole bunch of hoops just to get to school - or work in this case - on time. It's ridiculous. But it was fun." You took a sip of your coffee. "I bet you were in bed by 10 every night in uni - minus late game nights, if that was a thing. But 8 hours of sleep, very responsible, all your readings and homework done."
Jessie shot you a mild glare.
"I've had some wild nights," she countered, not sounding entirely convincing, or even remotely, really. It endeared her to you more.
"Oh yeah, I bet you were a real bad girl," you teased. Jessie rolled her eyes.
"Oh, and like you were."
You sat primly and gave her a sly smirk. "Wouldn't you like to know."
You bantered back and forth the rest of the drive, and again, it felt like you were already something you were not. You found yourself lamenting your arrival as she pulled up to your building. Pushing aside your disappointment, you instead leaned over the middle console and gave Jessie a fleeting kiss on the cheek. She startled at the touch.
"Thanks for driving me. And for letting me spend the night. And for dinner," you frowned as you added things to the list. "I've gotta start pulling my weight here."
"No," she said in a strained voice, her cheeks flaring up as she glanced at you before her eyes darted away. She laughed nervously and scratched the back of her neck. "Don't mention it."
You gave her forearm a quick squeeze, a blush threatening to form on your own face at how firm the muscles were there, and stepped out of the car. You walked to your door, quickly strategizing if or when to turn back and wave when you heard her call out your name. You turned around with a puzzled look on your face.
"Uh, I could drive you to work? When you're ready?" She offered from the car through the now-open window. Her face burned impossibly brighter red. "It'll be faster than the bus."
You smiled openly at her.
"Oh, you're just spoiling me now." She smiled in return. "Well, who am I to say 'no'?"

Oracle!Reader Part 12
Masterlist - Part 1, Part 11, Part 13
Putting this early so y'all got something to read while waiting for Fontaine. Gl on wishing/saving!
Warning! This is SAGAU which is yandere, plus my story is imposter au which makes things even worse. You can expect detailed descriptions of sensitive topics like blood in this chapter.
The water is still as Mountain Shaper relays your claim to the other adepti. The cutting gaze they have is deflected by that calm expression you wear.
"Then before we deal with them, let's wrap up the situation with the children." Ganyu speaks softly as her eyes move past your form with wariness.
Xingqiu and Chongyun relax at the sight of Ganyu. With her around, the punishment from the adepti should be prevented.
"Thank you both for coming to save the children, and I'm sorry we weren't in time to help that poor boy. I'm afraid I'll have to burden you both with the task of bringing them back to the city. This would be quite a big deal, especially for you, Xingqiu, as the son of such a prestigious family."
Xingqiu freezes up at the mention of his family while Ganyu takes out a notepad. She writes something on it and hands it over to him.
"This is a brief report on what happened, your cover up is that I asked you to bring them back home. You and your friend will have to give a report to the Millelith and when I get back, I can finish the report. I can get the needed information from your... teammate."
The skepticism and slight disgust in her voice makes it perfectly clear what she thinks about you. She didn't even want to thank you for participating in saving the children.
Ganyu is an adepti, even if she is half human, and that is why she has some of that signature arrogance. She always did jump to conclusions; like how she attacked that Fatui skirmisher that was berry picking. Her arrogance only makes it harder for her to change her mind until it's nearly too late.
Xingqiu smiles politely but the twitch in his eyebrow as he accepts the note says it all. Chongyun's face visibly sours but he keeps quiet. They both turn to you, silently asking if it's okay for them to leave you here.
Your lips stretch into a cheery smile and you give them a thumbs up. "Don't worry about me, I'll be fine. Just make sure Yiran gets to her father and that the mother of that poor boy gets his body."
They leave with the children clinging to them, the children still have remnants of tears in their eyes. You can only silently command Teyvat to make their journey back to the city as safe as possible.
"One knows not why this interloper is not already decaying at our feet. Surely any being that claims such a frivolous thing deserves to be sacrificed to the glorious Creator."
Rude as always, Cloud Retainer is the first to ignite the hatred for you. In Genshin she was always comedic relief after the Archon quest but it's different with your current position.
"Don't be so quick to see to my death, Cloud Retainer. Surely Mountain Shaper has already told you what secret information I know about you all." You smoothly comment.
"The young herbalist is not impossible to hold information on, it's the scent of Teyvat on you that led me to not kick you off my mountain." Moon Carver interferes calmly. You get the sense that he's the most curious on who you are in contrast to the rest that just want you to die.
"Like I said, I'm an Oracle for the Creator themself. Surely you aren't going to doubt Teyvat in who it chooses to embrace."
"Mimicry is a common tactic among evildoers like yourself. Perhaps you're a demonic spirit from the old war hiding in human flesh. It would suffice as an explanation for the way you used that little girl to buy time for yourself."
Mountain Shaper pushes the agenda of some evil lurking within you. Honestly, it's starting to annoy you but becoming emotional would only fuel them further.
"I only spoke to Yiran so rashly due to your stupid rules. Who focuses on intruders that you clearly saw came for the children instead of the terrified young girl? She was scared from the massacre and felt responsible for that boy's death. That same dead boy’s mother that you proceeded to insult."
"And why should we concern ourselves with the folly of humans?"
"I'm not asking you to. I'm saying that you should at least allow the other humans to help those children, yet you treat adults and children like they have the same mental capacity. Not surprising as adepti couldn't possibly understand the complexity of humanity but it’s still quite disappointing that you cannot even see the logic."
Your words earn you a sharp amber tearing into the skin of your left arm.  A low curse escapes you as you yank the injured arm away from the crimson painted amber. Examining the wound with a grimace, you apply pressure to slow the bleeding. The puncture wound lets your blood stain the clothing and drip off.
It didn't go all the way through but in certain areas your vein and arteries can be seen. Not broken, just exposed and so very painful. Resisting the tears, you dig into your bag with your good hand for the medical kit.
As you clean and wrap up your wound, you can hear the adepti arguing.
"What are you doing you old coot? One was looking to expose their lies, not attack in such a haste. Now that filthy blood is staining my abode."
"Cloud Retainer is correct on this topic. As devoted worshippers of our caliber, having the ability to unravel the demonic lies is true proof of our strength."
It's so funny, you almost want to laugh in their faces. 'Filthy blood'? Your blood is the one that they worship like salvation. 'Demonic lies?' Isn't the Creator's word's law and truth no matter the message?
That haughtiness that leads them to try beating you at your own game will be their downfall. You'll enjoy this new act. After all...
They're only the stepping stones for the showdown between you and the Geo Archon.
With a bandaged arm that sends dull aches and electrifying pain at intervals, you smile and speak in a sweet tone.
"Finished conversing yet? If you're ready to try exposing my nonexistent lie then get rid of this amber cage and let me show you firsthand why I'm the Creator's Oracle."
Your serene smile is met with sharp glares, distrustful eyes and a timid gaze that speaks first.
"And what proof or action will you show us?"
"Well, I have multiple ways, but illuminated beings like yourself will not be satisfied with that. You'll see it as a trick, a prepared prop to convince you all. So instead, why don't you ask me to do something or relay something to the creator? Something that you're positive I can't complete."
Beisht's scale seems to make your bag heavier with the reminder of its existence. But it's not time for it yet. The adepti only see Beisht as an enemy, that gamble isn't one you're willing to risk just yet.
"One would never ask you to pray to the creator and sully their ears with your sinful voice. One has a better idea on what you can do as 'proof'. As much as One hates to let you get closer, it is necessary to enter my abode."
Mountain Shaper seems to grumble as the other adepti force him to release you. Chains made of Geo and Dendro wrap around your wrists and tug you forward.
Were you truly that untrustworthy in their eyes? Four adepti against one human, the outcome is obvious, but you keep a leisurely pace behind them.
Cloud Retainer's domain-like door opens and once you all step inside, the door shuts with a loud bang. It's just like how you remembered it in the game.
An absolute confusing mess.
Ganyu and Cloud Retainer cross the barely hanging rock bridge with ease, Meanwhile Moon Carver and Mountain Shaper throw remarks at her.
"What is the meaning of such a mess? It's in even worse condition than when we visited 300 years ago."
"One's abode is not of your concern. It is normal for one to keep it in the environment that suits one's needs."
Cloud Retainer and Mountain Shaper continue to bicker back and forth as you are led through the turning platforms and transparent golden bridges.
"Maybe if a certain mortal had just accepted death as their punishment, we wouldn't have to be going through this disorganization."
As adepti, they probably could have just flown to the top where Cloud Retainers' main ruins are but as you are clearly human, they had to take the long way. They don't bother to keep that fact quiet but Moon Carver constantly saying that only makes you walk slower in pettiness.
The main ruin finally comes into view and you remember the initial conversation with Cloud Retainer when you had to discuss Morax's fake death. The door behind that never let players in, is now open.
Entering you are greeted with long hallways with inventions in different stages of creation littering it. Texts, and murals of different time periods cover the walls. Morax, Guizong, the Yaksha and even other adepti you don't recognize are there.
A left turn at a three way intersection goes to a large room decorated beautifully with feathers and gemstones alike. The image of you forming an egg that has brown scales and gold accents is the main centerpiece.
This must be how they believe you created Morax. Then does that solve the question on whether the egg or the chicken comes first?
Cloud Retainer stops in the middle of the room and spreads her wings to point at the sides of the room that are inscribed with text.
"Ever since One took residence in this abode, One has never been able to decipher the text, nor has any other being that got One's permission to enter this sacred room been able to decipher it. If you are truly the Oracle then surely you must be able to decode such scriptures."
"Then let's see just what message this scripture contains." Your proud words are all the bravado you need to walk past their eyes and approach the closest words on the left wall.
As you move to walk past Cloud Retainer's form, she brings her wing down to cover your path.
"Death is the only ending for you in One's eyes. If you fail to translate, then you'll die. If you tarnish or destroy it, then you'll die. And if you refuse, then death will claim you before you can even finish your words."
"I understand full and well, Cloud Retainer. My life belongs to the Creator, no matter how difficult or painful."
Her wing cuts through your shackles with ease. Now free, you walk past with that confident posture you've held throughout this meeting. Your hands itch to run over the wall and pray that Teyvat will automatically translate it as it had done for everything else. Yet when you get close enough to make out the words, you smile widely. A sight so beautiful for your poor eyes.
'Elemental creatures of all kinds must continue to worship the maker of all things to maintain their loving and personal connection. Refusing or forgetting to do so is the same as rejecting or not caring for them. Consequences are dire and just like trust, it'll be much harder to restore.'
Your language is written on the wall in clear letters. Your luck seems to have turned around for now. You could do so much with this information.
"I can understand this perfectly. It's the language the Creator uses to communicate on the world they're resting in. The scripture describes elemental worship that is specific to only elemental beings."
You recite the first text with ease as the room goes quiet. Not a laugh, scoff nor grumble is heard in the room. Should you take this as a bad or good thing?
Pushing onward you begin to translate the rest of the text on both sides of the room. It gives a detailed explanation on how to sacrifice body parts, energy, blood, and lifeforce.
"Stop, we have heard enough." Moon Carver cuts in emotionlessly. You look back at them feigning a confused expression. Trouble is clear on their faces, the truth of your words is spreading guilt within them.
Inwardly your lips curve into a smile that seems to soothe the pain in your arm.
They aren't guilty from the approaching truth of your 'oracle' status being real. They're feeling guilt over the worship methods that they had forgotten.
But pompous beings like them will never accept their wrong-doings so easily.
"You speak of words that poison our minds and weigh our hearts with guilt. This may be but a sham that you wish to deceive us with. Us, illuminated beasts will not accept this method until it's been proven in our sights."
With a careless shrug and scoff, you speak to Mountain Shaper with an uncaring attitude. "I would happily do it to myself just to prove my words true, but I'm not an elemental being like you all were so happy to point out. It seems one of you will have to test it out or we'll never get anywhere."
"Or perhaps we can end this farce now and eliminate you from the beloved maker's gaze." His angry reaction has you covering your mouth in surprise.
"You would skip past the proper protocols in the case concerning the Creator? Where is your devotion? Your faith? Or are you just afraid to do so and see the honesty in my words? Maybe it's a mix of both..."
Mountain Shaper takes a clawed step forward that makes the ruins shake. Cloud Retainer blocks his path with her wing.
"One has had enough of this Shaper! Treat the eulogies and artwork of the creator with more respect."
"It is shameful that an illuminated being like yourself is being led by a mortal like that. Are we not the ones who survived this long despite the varying enemies and plots? Calm yourself before you sully the Creator's pride with your uncontrollable wrath."
Mountain Shaper looks pissed as his eyes glare at you with malice. The temptation to flip him off with a shit-eating grin is too strong and he turns away like a toddler at your crude actions.
"I can do the ritual for us to learn the truth on this matter." A timid voice steps in during the brief silence. All eyes turn to Ganyu as she keeps her hands close to her chest.
"All the work I do is for Liyue, Rex Lapis, and most importantly: the Creator. If this method is true then I can learn a more intimate way to worship them. And if not, then I can keep the creator's reputation pure by utterly destroying Y/N."
Her words are soft and gentle but turn dark near the end as she stares at you seriously. The adepti stay quiet seeming to respect her bold actions even if Cloud Retainer seems just a bit ruffled.
"You said that there are many different offerings to give, all with their own reward. Which one would give the best result?"
"The energy sacrifice would be the most convenient and easiest but it doesn't fit you well due to your lethargic nature. Your body is physically strong so a blood offering would be the best choice."
Ganyu's eyes seem to follow your form as you step closer to the section that contains the instructions for the blood offering. She's no doubt trying to figure out how you could know about that without considering the possibility of you being the Oracle true.
You read it out loud so that everyone is on the same page before looking back at them.
"So let's start with the main things. We'll need a clear area outside along with a ceremonial dagger and cup. I'll wait here and write down all the ritual instructions for future use."
In Genshin you always know a NPC is suspicious when they want to 'wait and write' something while you do the actual work. The distrustful looks they all send you feel the same way.
They leave Ganyu to watch over you while they all leave to prepare the ritual. Deciding to leave Ganyu alone, you go back to jotting down the text into your handbook.
It's quiet to the point of it being uncomfortable yet you diligently finish the notes and simply doodle on the free space. Ganyu's eyes never stop running down your body, you ask yourself if she's even blinking.
"Before I came here to visit, I heard of an incident at Liyue Harbor. About two geovishap hatchlings that went feral and caused a mess. The most interesting part was how the 'winner' displayed its trophy to a masked stranger."
Ah, Ganyu... 3,000 years old and counting half-qilin adeptus with a whole war as experience. Did you ever forget her knowledge? No, you just simply underestimated her resilience to erosion.
"Is there something you want to ask me about that incident? If so, just spit it out. Communication is important, a secretary like yourself should know that much."
"I have no doubt that you are the person in the incident. I'm conflicted over how you came to your... position. Someone tricking the people is normal and still saddening. But someone trying to trick the adepti? Foolish and stupid. I will stop you either way but just know that I will not stand for your evil actions."
A laugh slips past your lips as your gaze falls onto her firm stance. Gentle and quiet are the words to describe qilin yet the conflict avoiding nature seemed to have skipped Ganyu's genes.
"Then I hope you repent properly to the creator for refusing to believe their loyal servant for speaking the truth." You move to stand in front of her and stare deeply into her eyes with mirth. "It seems the adepti have already returned. Why don't we get going?"
Not a moment later, Cloud Retainer's voice rings out, calling for you both to come outside. Smiling cheerfully, you follow Ganyu out of Cloud Retainer's home.
The moon's glow tenderly caresses your skin and bandaged arm as the water laps at your legs. The adepti stand on the small patch of land as you and Ganyu trudge across the water. On the table is a clean dagger with intricate gold patterns and a gold chalice decorated with Noctilucous Jade.
Dagger and chalice in hand, you survey the area with a critical eye. Smiling, you point at an area of water.
"The water here is clean and clear so it fits the bill in what the ritual needs. Follow me Ganyu." Not bothering to look back you walk deeper into the water, even still the water only reaches above your knees.
"Words are not needed, only actions. Kneel and choose a place for me to cut you. Your blood has to fill the chalice to the brim."
She goes along with your words and kneels, letting the liquid soak her clothes without complaint. Grabbing ahold of her beautiful white sleeve, she pulls it off, exposing her arm.
"Cut my arm in a long shallow slit so it can be filled quickly without too much damage."
"Alright, let me go over the steps once more as your time is limited once it's filled." With practiced ease, you cut her arm and watch her blood flow into the chalice. Not even a peep escapes her from the pain.
"You'll hold the chalice with both hands raising it into the air to signify that you are offering. Keep your eyes closed and pray for what you wish to communicate to the creator. In this case, you want to pray for the creator to accept your blood offering as the first step to forgiveness. After that you'll just need to follow my lead."
Ganyu nods solemnly and you move the now filled chalice to her hands carefully to avoid spilling it. Her eyelids flutter shut as her hands hold the chalice high in the air. The air seems to still as her lips move to mouth a silent prayer.
The blood that drips down her arm and into the water seems hypnotizing. To think you’d really hurt someone to hide your lie. It's different then the case with Beisht; you hurt Beisht to prove your identity. What you have done to Ganyu is a line you may have to cross again in the future. What if you eventually kill someone to hide your lie? The thought seems ludicrous to you now but so did hurting someone before this moment...
Your thoughts seem to still when the blood dripping from her wound changes in color. No, not just color but in texture too. Those wine red drops shift to a mix of pink and blue. It solidifies into a small glittering object that clinks softly as it hits the water.
It flashes for a moment before dissolving into water like it never existed. Was that truly what a primogem looked like in real life?
An indescribable feeling swells up in your chest, soft whispers lead your body closer to Ganyu without a fight. Shakily your hands cover hers as that intangible feeling urges you to speak.
'I accept your offering' is nearly spoken but even in this haze of dopamine and serotonin, your self control is firm.
"The Creator accepts your offering." Your words are shaky with unknown emotions. Is this Ganyu's feelings towards you as the creator? It's gentle and rests on your soul like a weighted blanket feebly trying to pull you into a deep sleep.
Reminding yourself of the ritual at hand, you begin to tilt the chalice toward the ground. The scripture never specified what would happen but the sight you receive is beyond what you could expect.
What pours out of the chalice is not scarlet liquid, but thousands of primogems that clink and clank as it hits the water. Just like earlier, it dissolves leaving bubbles that cloud the starry sky that was reflected on the surface.
When the last primogem hits the water, you release Ganyu's hands and step back. You look up at the night sky that begins to glow with color as your voice cuts through the tense silence.
"Open your eyes Ganyu, it's time to see your wish revitalized. The Creator accepted your offering after all."
Coral and lavender eyes open slowly and go wide at the sight of the sky. The chalice is gripped in tightly on her lap as the night blooms with blue and purple wishes.
A single gold star begins to travel through the air at high speeds. Noticing its course you step farther away from Ganyu as she stays kneeling in amazement at the sight.
Before anyone can speak, the gold shooting star hits Ganyu and engulfs her spot with a beam of light. It's harsh on your eyes but the game screen that automatically opens in front of you soothes it.
Ganyu's splash art is the only thing you see before you click it off with a triumphant smile. Skipping through all the other wishes and four star constellations, the game screen and gold light disappear at the same time.
A shocked and confused Ganyu could be expected. A quietly happy and thankful Ganyu was expected. But the half qilin adeptus silently bawling her eyes out as she stays kneeling in the water was what greeted you instead.
The other adepti don't hesitate to move to your area with inhuman speed from where they were watching. You expected Mountain Shaper to be the first one to attack you as Moon Carver stands protectively in front of Ganyu but it seems the adepti didn't like to respond logically.
Sharp talons wrapped around your neck as the weight of the crane pushes you back onto the water. The unexpected submersion has you coughing uncontrollably underwater as your body seems to be weighed down by something invisible.
Fingers dig into your throat as blurry yells make your heart pound with panic.
"It's all your fault!"
"None of this would have happened if you didn't exist!"
"Should have just let me do what I want with you, you pathetic fuck!"
Sickle in hand your attacks are choppy as the electro sputters in and out of existence. The fingers turn into a bruising, clawed grip once more as your free hand grabs a fistful of feathers.
The crane is pulled away and by extension you're pulled out of the water too. The water droplets make your vision blur as you try to calm your hyperventilation into something less vulnerable.
Cloud Retainer is held back by all three adepti as she squawks with indignation. The ringing in your ears prevents you from hearing anything more than, "One has not seen Ganyu cry in such a way since she was a child!"
Ganyu seems more than embarrassed as she repeatedly tells Cloud Retainer something you can't be bothered to make out. Your nails dig into the blood and feathers in your hand as you stare at the missing patch of feathers on Cloud Retainers body.
You're cold, wet, hungry, and so very tired but that bald patch you left on the noisy crane makes you feel happy in a vengeful way. If you weren't still reeling from the near death experience you would have loved to comment on her new preen.
The situation seems to calm down as Ganyu and the rest explain something thoroughly to Cloud Retainer. It's obvious that she had gone on a rampage due to Ganyu's reaction without bothering to view the situation in full. A rare mistake for someone as meticulous as her.
With care and concern only for the present, you move to the edge of the mountain and stare out across the sky. The view of Liyue is muddled yet enhanced by the starry sky. The grass under your shoes is welcome in comparison to the pond that nearly swallowed you whole.
Your fingers mindlessly pick at the healing scabs and bruises from the treasure hoarder fiasco. The grimace on your face is not from the pain of the jostled arm but the uncomfortable feeling of wet bandages. Carefully, your fingers trace the new talon marks on your neck that you gained from Cloud Retainer. Should you get hurt by Moon Carver too, to collect wounds from all three?
The grass crunches behind you and you already know what is about to happen. Your eyebrows pinch in worry and your gaze rarely leaves the floor as the adepti stand face to face with them.
"I'm so sorry for my reaction earlier. I was so surprised and overjoyed that the sacrifice convinced the Creator to awaken me that I reacted in such a shameful way. It's due to my failure to keep my emotions in check that you got hurt. Please forgive me."
Your mind is blank but your body is well versed in what to do, what lies to say. Softening eyes are steady with Ganyu's as your fingers gingerly touch the claw marks.
"I understand Ganyu, the creator's grace is an amazing thing. Be sure to serve them properly from now on." With a near patronizing tone you speak to the adepti as a whole.
"Don't you see what damage you had done to me? The creator is love, peace, justice and truth. I hope you don't think they'll let Cloud Retainer and Mountain Shaper off easy for harming me who has taken on such a heavy and dangerous burden."
Facades are only good if you know how to upkeep and keep track of them. If you act like some soft pushover now, they'll be suspicious. You slide into the control seat of the spider web of lies you've created as easily as breathing.
Rest? Mental breakdowns? Dissociative states? Hallucinations from past traumatic experiences? All of those things must be pushed into the crevice in your mind. The same crevice that seems to grow deeper and darker with each passing year since your birth. Those thoughts can consume you when you're safe, if that day ever comes.
They react exactly as you expected; haughty but thoroughly humbled with seeds of self doubt planted in their hearts. Breaking even a fraction of their pride in their fake-ass devotion brings a longing for them to crumble even more.
You go along with conversation while conserving as much energy as possible. Ganyu was the only one with enough sensibility to apologize to you so why should you care about the rest of them? If they had Ganyu carry and apologize in their stead then they should be just as fine with you only giving her actual attention.
Pointing out this fact seemed to stun them into a tense silence. Your body naturally goes on edge expecting some sort of attack but nothing comes. Instead they present you with a few apologies without using words.
"As a faithful servant of the Creator, you are welcomed anytime in Jueyun Karst, as well as any other areas that would be deemed off-limits within our authority."
"Why not stay in One's home for the night after the enlightening events that have occurred today? One is not a careless host and will be sure to provide all that you need during your stay."
It honestly wasn't a bad idea, your mind and body were not fit for teleporting to Liyue and setting up camp. You accepted the offer despite knowing that the sleep you will get will not be fulfilling.
The conversations they hold as you are fed and tended to flow in one ear and out the other. The most notable information you picked up was how they wanted to try the method themself and even spread it to Xiao in hopes of the creator lessening his karmic debt.
It's Ganyu that accompanies you to a guest room that Cloud Retainer somehow managed to not make messy. The other adepti seem to think that you like her in some way when little to their knowledge, you're simply fond of her.
Not in the way that you want to be near or interact with her. She apologized for being part of the reason you were attacked. She still hasn't apologized for all her previous rude actions. You liked her the same way as you did on Earth. Only as a character.
A voice whispers that it's better than how you refuse to associate with Ei in any way.
You lay down on a clean mattress in the comforting silence of the night. You're dry, warm, full, and comfortable yet still as on edge as before. The eyebags you wear are not from random all-nighters but from the never-ending cycle of lying for a living. Both on Earth and on Teyvat.
Sleep doesn't come easy, not with the constant fear of talons holding you down. Nor with the unease of amber cutting through your skin. Rest comes in spurts of deep sleep before hands are choking you again back into the waking world.
Sometimes you wish you could forget who your family was too.
Your internal clock is all sorts of confused as you wake up for the 50th time. Judging by the lack of discomfort in your body, you couldn't have slept more than an hour.
Pale green glows in the corner of your eyes making you speed into sitting position. You catch the faintest glimpse of a horned masked bearing large fangs and glowing teal eyes.
You blink at the spot as your breath is harsh even to your own ears. Was it real? Was he here? Why would he be?
For what reason would he watch you sleep if not to investigate?
The cool mask calms your clammy skin. If he had looked under it, you wouldn't be here anyway. It's that morbid thought that brings you peace.
How ironic.
Knowing that sleep will not come to you for a while, you get dressed and follow the vague memory of the path Ganyu took when bringing you to the guest room.
It leads to the domain doors to the outside and the brush of your fingertips on the stone doors has it moving smoothly. The early morning sun warms the stone walkway as you exit into the free space.
The sight of the pond trudges up memories of yesterday. With a bright smile and light footsteps, you hurry down the staircase and jump over the water with ease.
"-yet how could we possibly forget such a vital ritual?" "One suspects larger factors are at play." "The records in our abodes should show-"
Catching the near ending of such a serious conversation, you slow down as they all turn to look at you.
"Awake already Y/N? Would you like a light breakfast?" Ganyu is the first to speak, the other adepti are surely still examining you. Now far more lucid than last night you are positive that having another meal with them would be a true nightmare.
"I'm not hungry when it's so early so I'll pass for now. There are many private duties that the creator asks of me and it would be best that I get straight to it. Yet there's a slight problem."
The adepti seem to tense up in unison, not that they are wrong for doing so. You've been a consistent thorn in their side since you met Mountain Shaper.
"You see, my body has not fully recovered from the injuries that I received from fighting the treasure hoarders. And with the how rough I was handled by you all, my injuries were reopened."
The wind ruffles your hair as if highlighting the bruise and talon marks. Your left hand is pressed against your chest making the sun shine on the bandaged arm. The parts of damaged exposed skin are the icing on the cake.
"Then what is it that you desire oracle of the beloved? Do you wish to check on the children that were saved?" Mountain Shaper's voice is like ice. Sharp when cold like yesterday but smooth when controlled correctly.
It was a good thing you slept, even if it was sucky. You almost missed out on such a great bargaining chip!
"That is one thing I plan to do when I head to the city but there's a few things before that. Since you're already offering to take me then it would be a great help if you can take me to this location."
Shamelessly you hold out the map in your handbook with the only commission location left.
Increasing Danger - Hilichurls are building towers in the circled area. Destroy these towers for the safety of the people.
Mountain Shaper sighs tiredly and is about to respond when you cut him off on purpose.
"Oh and those ceremonial tools we used in the ritual yesterday? I need them. The creator is an all-loving deity that would never desire to push away the innocent and loyal beings in Teyvat unless they deserved it. The creator wishes to conduct more rituals if necessary."
Cloud Retainer seems to stare at you in shock at the forceful way you pushed for the items you desire. The dagger and chalice glint in the sunlight as she resists the urge to hide them from your greedy eyes.
"But before you drop me off for good at my commission site, I'll need you all to help me activate the teleport waypoints. There's no way I'm climbing those mountains again. Besides, the creator blessed you all with such power, how could you not use it to support a fellow devotee?"
Your smile widens to bare all your teeth as Moon Carver avoids looking directly at you. They may be reluctant but you always make sure to have your debts be paid with interest. The price for hurting, exhausting, and stressing you out is not one to sneeze at either.
Quite a few teleport waypoints were activated with the dagger and chalice safely in your bag. Adeptus powers really were useful in situations like these. Within half an hour you had activated enough to safely teleport around Jueyun Karst without fear of running into the adepti again.
As Mountain Shaper sets you down nearby the hilichurl camp and towers for your commission, his curiosity finally gets the best of him.
"For what reason did you discolor so many teleport waypoints?"
"I can teleport using them due to the creator's blessing. Now that I activated them, I can teleport to all of your mountains whenever I want to visit!"
Each word you say with a cheerful grin seems to send him deeper into agony. He nods tightlipped and flies away. The wind brings his muttered words to your words.
"A vacation is in order. A vacation for as long as possible."
Messing with the adepti was really fun. You just hoped that they would go on vacation permanently, your job would be much easier that way.
All you have left is to finish this commission, teleport to the waypoint near the harbor's entrance and get your money. Simple as that. Opening the game window from your safe viewing spot of the hilichurl camp, you begin to review all the books on hilichurls.
First and foremost, thank you to the editor of this chapter @serpent-benediction! He was a huge help even if he terrorized me the whole time </3
It gives me more time to add some fun stuff like italics and bold. Stories pack more of a punch with flair, in my eyes at least. All the improvements to the chapter are his work like capitalizing Oracle and Creator. We did debate on whether adepti was species or title. So yall are free to give your opinion on which it is and whether it should be capitalized. I'm glad to see that (almost) all the build-up to the adepti part is finished. Well for the adepti at least. I was like dead tired after the choking part so that's why it may be a bit wonky. Now that I'm not pressed for time (yet. Sep is coming soon) I wanted to thank everyone for staying this long in the series! I love reading and responding to comments. I love reading the notes and/or tags from reblogs. I don't know if I should respond to reblogs like I do to comments. Cause I see some really in-depth reblogs that I wanna respond to but I end up not doing that thanks to my thoughts of-'Is that weird, strange or uncomfortable?' I just don't wanna scare anyone off. And for those that might wonder why Y/N was choking here but not with Beisht, it's due to Retainer. Retainer was using her adeptus power to pressure the water against Y/N which caused the drowning and bruises. I hope that clears it up a lil!
I'm a dumbass, I forgot the taglist. That's why it looked so short in my eyes. Everyone is allowed to yell at me for this (except for my editor) Taglist: @vvyeislazzy, @nikqi, @the-dumber-scaramouche, @etherisy, @yourlocalstranger123, @ra404, @iruiji, @goldenglow149, @haru-tofuu, @lsleepysimpl, @bebobeboben, @yuyuzi-ling, @amidst-the-tempest, @resident-cryptid, @mxd1zzy, @mochicurls21, @nervouseaglelover, @thedevioussmirk, @yumuramma, @kwqsla, @undecidingfate, @ehjane, @game-savvy, @akiramirae, @sielt, @fluffy-koalala, @formacoon, @sxftiebee, @khxii-i, @ursinaw, @chuuya-brainrot, @sweetbills, @kazuchaos, @snowfoxnix, @bluebelony, @conspicuous-mayonnaise, @pencil-of-ashes, @ghostlyintervention, @taiformaifoe, @sielt, @goaudduck, @carminerin, @maddysflowers, @zenith-of-all-zeniths, @crazydreamcat, @leafanonsforest, @grimreapersscythe, @leylanx, @undecidingfate, @sapphireknown, @help-whatdoimakemyusername, @zhonglisfruityass, @fluffy-koalala, @mer0n37, @victoria1676, @mochinessss, @sinnful-darling, @emilymikado

hi!! could i request a leighton murray x reader where leighton and reader are friends and they’re at a party with the rest of leighton’s roommates but reader notices that leighton doesn’t seem really into it so she pulls her aside and it turns out that leighton isn’t feeling well (just like a stomach bug or smth) and reader takes her home and just fluff and stuff ensues? tysm!
I'm here for you
Tumblr media
The fact that Leighton didn't really drink anything while pregaming was what should have ticked you off. But you didn't really think about it as you just thought that she might want to get up early.
“Alright, let's go everybody?” you hyped the other four up when you wanted to leave. Everybody, except for Leighton jumped off the couch to grab their jackets and get out of the dorm.
“I just gotta get something from my room, you guys can already go. I'll catch up” she told you guys as she carefully stood up. You've never been a fan of leaving anyone behind so you gave the others a nod, sending them their way as you waited for the blonde.
“You didn't have to wait you know,” she told you as she came out of her room, a jacket wrapped around her. Her face was a bit paler than normal but nothing that really concerned you.
“I wanted to. Couldn't leave a pretty girl like you behind” you “joked” which made her giggle as you walked out of the building.
“So you would have left me alone if I wasn't that pretty?” she jabbed making you laugh this time. The moment you arrived at the party you were pulled apart, Leighton was summoned by her roommates while you were summoned to play beer pong. It was about an hour and a half later that you finally saw her again as she stormed past you towards the bathroom. There was something in you that told you to follow her, so you quickly brushed past the other guests to not lose sight of her, your cup long abandoned.
“Leigh, you alright?” You asked as you knocked on the bathroom door. You could already hear her throw up which made you just open the door to hold back her hair. “Shh, it’s alright” you mumbled as one hand held her hair while the other one rubbed over her back to sooth her as best as you could. Once she was done you grabbed some paper and handed it to her with a comforting smile on your face.
“How’d you know?” She just asked as she wanted to sit on the dirty ground. This alone was a big ass warning sign, normally she’d never touch that floor. So you were quick to pull her up and sit her on a towel, which you really hoped was washed.
“You barely drank anything, I saw you swallow a pill, your face is pale and you’ve been wrapping your arms around your stomach every now and then, plus I just know you” you explained as you brushed some hair out of her face. It felt like the blonde really needed comfort as she immediately leaned into you, her head resting on your shoulder as one of her arms wrapped around you. If she didn’t look so miserable this would be your dream. “Let’s get you home huh”
“No, it’s alright. Plus, I can’t go out like this, everybody will think that I drank too much and that would ruin my reputation” she gave you a tight lipped smile as she tried to move away from you but you were quick to pull her back.
“Would I ruin your reputation?”
“What?”
You shed off your signature jacket and wrapped it around Leightons shoulders after pulling out some gum for her. “We will just leave together and people will think we are up to other things” you explained as you ruffled your hair up a bit.
“Are you sure? I don’t wanna ruin your fun and your chances with everyone else” her heart fluttered at the thought that other people might think that you’re leaving together, but she knew that you don’t feel the same and she didn’t wanna ruin your chances. What she didn’t know was that your heart fluttered just the same and the thought.
“There’s nobody as important as you, so if you’re alright with it; I’d be happy to take you home” you extended your hand to her, before fixing her mascara for a bit. Once she looked half decent you opened the door and pulled her out. You wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her into you so she could hide her face in your neck.
After you said goodbye to her roommates you walked out of the house and a bit further before you loosened your arm around her waist. “Thanks” she mumbled as she pulled away a bit. You gave her a small smile and a nod as you made your way towards her dorm. “You don’t have to stay here you know? I don’t think that spending the night with an ill me is what you want” she said as she leaned against the doorframe, it was obvious that she was lacking her normal strength.
“Actually, it’s exactly how I want to spend my night” you told her as you brushed past her, pulling up your sleeves to get out a bucket and everything else the blonde might need while she still stood in the doorway and watched you. She knew that you knew where everything was, you were there often as you got along with all four of them but the way you cared for her was just something else. “Well, go on. How about you go brush your teeth while I get you some stuff and change and then we can watch a movie?” You suggested when you saw that she was still standing in the same spot.
She gave you a nod and walked off to brush her teeth with your jacket still wrapped around her while you quickly walked out to get the crackers.
15 minutes later you came back to find her sitting on her bed, a hand on her stomach. “Alright, I got some crackers, some ginger ale, pills for your stomach, water and I didn’t know if you had a hot water bottle so I thought I’d just bring mine. Here it’s already filled” you put everything except the hot water bottle down next to her. “If you need anything just tell me” you added and walked over to sit on Belas bed. The girl texted you and told you that she was sleeping over at Eric’s so you could take her bed if you wanted.
“Where are you going?” Leighton grumbled, her brows furrowed as you walked away from her.
“Bela said I could take her bed since I don’t wanna leave you alone” you explained while plugging your phone into her charger.
“You promised me a movie I believe” it wasn’t hard to figure out that she wasn’t cool with the fact that you walked away from her. So, with a small giggle you got up and gave her a sign to scoot over to make space for you.
“Well, here I am. What do you want to watch?” Her laptop was placed on your legs, Netflix already opened as you scrolled through the options you had while the blonde got settled into your side. Her head rested on your chest, one of her hands under her head while your arm was wrapped around her waist to stabilize the bottle that was pressed against her stomach.
Once you decided for a movie you could feel her starting to fall asleep, her face still pale but now adorned with dark rings under her eyes and a bit of a Fever .
It was around two to four hours later when you were awoken by a turning and tossing Leighton. The way she moved already gave you a clue of what was going to happen, so you quickly picked up the bucket and held it up, ready for her to use if she needed to. But it seemed as she woke up early enough as she jumped up and ran to the bathroom with you on her heels. “You don’t have to stay, this is disgusting”
“Shut up”
Again and again you sat on the floor next to her, caressing her back and holding her hair while she threw up. You’ve barely slept three hours the whole night, you spend more time on the bathroom floor than in the bed but as long as it helped her you were alright.
It was around 10 a.m. when you woke up again the next morning, the sound of her roommates could be heard through the wall. Leighton was still dead asleep with her body pressed against yours, but at least her fever went down over the night. Shortly after you woke up, there was a knock on the door, followed by Whitney and Kimberly opening the door. “Hey, we are going to the cafeteria, do you want us to bring you something?” They asked as they tried not to stare at the two of you too much, Leighton cuddling with someone wasn’t something they saw every day.
“Uhm” you thought for a moment, “no, thank you. I’ll let her sleep for as long as she needs to and then I’ll get something that is more stomach friendly than whatever the cafeteria is serving us” they laughed slightly before nodding and saying goodbye, leaving you and their roommate alone again. Without thinking you started to brush your fingers through her hair, trying to sooth her in her sleep. But it actually did the opposite as she slowly awoke from her slumber, her arm around you tightening a bit.
“How are you feeling?” You asked once she was kinda awake. She grumbled a bit as she sat up.
“Better, I think something from the cafeteria was bad” she explained and rubbed her eyes while still leaning against you.
“That’s great to hear. Do you wanna eat something different than crackers? I could get you something” you rubbed her back for a moment before worrying that you were overstepping any boundaries now that she wasn’t ill anymore and didnt need any comfort.
“No, thank you. I think I will stay at that” you gave her a nod and handed her a water bottle as a reminder to drink.
“If it’s alright I’ll get ready real quick. If you want, I can come back” she looked at you as you stood up and stretched a bit. She didn’t want to keep you here if you didn’t wanna be here, especially after you had to spend the whole night next to her who was throwing up.
“If you want we could finish that movie” you agreed that you’d come back after showering and getting dressed before you took off. You were happy that she wanted you to come back, it made you feel like she wanted to spend time with you.
While you were off to get ready Leightons roommates came back to find her on the couch in the common room. “Hey, it’s great to see that you’re better” Bela said as she fell onto the couch next to the blonde. But she didn’t answer or react to any of them as she just stared of into the air. “Leighton?” She asked again making the girl look at them.
“Am I Tiny Tim?” She suddenly asked confusing all of them. They were silent as they hoped that she’d explain it herself. Tiny Tim was something that they knew, especially after Kimberly and the dude next door, but they weren’t sure what she meant with it. “Am I tiny Tim to y/n now?” She clarified while playing with her hands.
“Why are you thinking that?” Kimberly asked, a comforting hand placed on her back.
“Cause last night she had to leave a party for me and then sat on the floor next to me while I threw up like six times” she explained, a frustrated look on her face.
“You threw up six times?” Bela asked disgusted, making Whitney throw her a glare.
“The way I see it, she was happy to take care of you. I mean she’d head over heels for you and I don’t think that you throwing up is going to destroy that” Whitney stated. She knew how Leighton felt about you and she could see the way you look at her, it was pure love and adoration. If the blonde throwing up was destroying all that than she didn’t believe in love anymore.
“She’s not head over heels for me” she argued, a small grin on her face as she hoped that what the football player said was true.
“Oh please, just think about the crackers” Bela argued, which confused Leighton.
“What about the crackers?”
“Dude, that girl ran or walked to the next 7/11 just to get you the crackers you liked. And that at like 1 am or whatever” Bela explained, slightly hitting her shoulder as a sign to start thinking.
Leighton was more than confused, she specifically remembered you saying that you had those at home. “No, she had them at home. She specifically told me” she said.
“Must be wrong. When Eric and I went home we met her and she came back with a bag filled with those things. She told me that they were for you” there was a moment of silence as everybody gave her a moment to Come to terms with what Bela just said.
“But why didn’t she tell me?” It didn’t make any sense to her, it was a nice thing to do. So why lie?
“Looks like you can ask her that yourself” Kimberly whispered to the blonde as she saw you enter the room again. You greeted all of them, before settling on the arm rest of the couch next to Leighton.
“How are you feeling Leigh?” You asked with a smile on your face, happy to see that she was feeling better.
“Good, thank you” she started and then looked around to get any kind of affirmation of her roomies. All of them nodded which made her take a deep breath before speaking again. “Can I talk to you real quick?” You followed her into hers and belas room.
“Why’d you lie to me?” She suddenly asked making you choke on your spot.
“What do you mean?”
“The crackers. You lied to me about them, you didn’t have them at home. Why?” She asked again, this time more serious.
“Leighton, come on” you tried to make her let it go but she was persistent which made you sigh. “You already felt bad about me staying and taking care of you, what would you have said if I told you that I ran to 7/11?” You explained, hoping that she’d now let it go but you knew Leighton to well for that.
“I would have said that you’re stupid and you shouldn’t have. I mean why would you do that?” She looked at you expectantly to make sure that you knew that she wanted an answer.
“Because I wanted to. I like taking care of you”
“Why?”
“Because I like you, you idiot, laying in bed with you, even when you’re ill and throwing up is better than any damn party. But you’re too stubborn to realize that Leighton” there was a moment of silence. You already saw yourself being kicked out of their dorm and having to change colleges so you’d never have to see them again.
But just before you were about to leave the room Leightons normal cocky smile returned. You sighed in relief, even if she didn’t feel the Same you guys would be okay.
“Take me out tomorrow and then you can lay in bed with me without me throwing up” she said making you giggle and nod.
“Can’t wait” you winked at her before opening the door causing three people to fall into the room. “I believe these belong to you” you laughed as Leighton hit her forehead with her hand.
“Can we watch the movie at yours?” She asked, a slight blush on her face just out of embarrassment. You nodded and extended your hand.
Ten minutes later you sat on the couch in your apartment, the tv playing Leightons favorite movie. You had your arm wrapped around her shoulders while she was leaning into your side. If Leighton had known that her throwing up was all it needed she would have done that forever ago.

Tumblr media
"You kicked her out?" you yelled as soon as you stepped in your dorm.
Min Ho frowned in confusion. "What are you talking about?"
"Kitty. I just walked her to her new dormitory. I thought we agreed you wouldn't call Campus Police."
He got up from the couch and approached you close enough so you had to look up at him. "We agreed I wouldn't call Campus Police on you, which I didn't do. You never said anything about Portland Stalker."
"I wouldn't have minded that much but since her new dorm mate is weird as hell, I am concerned."
He shrugged his shoulders. "Then don't be? I don't get why you all worked up on this."
You groaned and left to barricade yourself in your room. First day of school went on even worse than you expected. You were startled when you phone started to ring.
"Y/N! We just wanted to check on you. So, first day?"
The excitement in your aunt's voice made you feel bad for not enjoying as much as you should. They had been trying to get you the scholarship for a while to give you the best scholar environment and you couldn't be ungrateful to them. Especially not when it was all Principal Lim's doing for allowing you to stay there.
"Great. I met up with Yuri and made some friends. Classes seem fun and I like my roommates."
They smiled through the small screen of your phone. "We're happy to hear that. Tomorrow, you have a class with me. I can't wait to see you there." your uncle said excitedly.
"Me too. I'll go to sleep now. Good night!"
"Good night, Y/N! Take care."
After changing into your pyjamas – that were surely too revealing for some people but you didn't care at this point – you went to the bathroom for your night routine. Min Ho was already there, doing his own skin care. While he didn't talk to you, he still stepped aside to leave you some space. Him checking you out didn't go unnoticed by you but you decided to not say anything about it. You brushed your teeth quickly and then proceeded to apply your primer.
"That's mine." Min Ho pointed out.
"It's not, I just brought it with me."
He chuckled. "I don't think you did. This is worth $200 and my mom got it for me."
You observed him take it from you. "You do realize I have money too, right?"
"Because of Principal Lim and Yuri? Yeah." he attempted to mock.
You took the primer back. "Because my rich parents died five years ago."
Stunned, he didn't move for an instant. While satisfied with the reaction you got from him, you began to regret spilling out about your parents. You usually kept it to yourself that even Yuri didn't know what happened.
"I'm sorry, I didn't know." he said, his voice now much softer.
"It's fine."
You went back to your room immediately. You didn't want to discuss it any further, nor did you want Min Ho to be pitying you. You needed sleep, and fast.
Tumblr media
A week went by pretty quickly. Your uncle taught your history class and you both agreed to not act like family in class, although most of the students knew you were relatives. You bonded closely with Kitty over that week and rarely ever saw Yuri since she was so busy with everything going on in her life. Plus, Kitty was avoiding her as much as possible.
You, yourself, had avoided Min Ho successfully for most part. The only times you really interacted with him were in chemistry class or in the morning where he would always make you a cup of coffee.
You were walking to the library when Kitty intercepted you.
"Help. Me."
Analyzing her appearance, you took in the bags under her eyes and the hairdo that seemed have been done last minute. You held back a laugh and Kitty simply told you you could laugh at her.
"I'm so sorry, but what is this?" you sneered and gesture her whole figure.
"My roommate is the worst human being on this planet. She eats all day, screams at night, throws tissues at me – used tissues – and I have never smelled such a horrid odor. Get me out of there."
"Have you talked to the dormitory advisors?"
"Yes but they said the girls dorm is full."
You smiled apologetically. "Then there's not much you can do, I'm afraid."
She whined. "I hate this."
"You'll be fine, I'm sure of it."
"Says the one who seems to live the perfect life with the guys. How is that going for you?"
You let out a chuckle. "Q is the sweetest and Dae is pretty respectful of my privacy. But then there's freaking Min Ho who can't seem to give me a break."
She squealed. "Oh, Min Ho! I almost forgot about him." she wiggled her eyebrows at you.
"You're so annoying." you shook your head in despair.
"I know." she snickered. "Ah, by the way. Remember how Q and I found a baby bracelet?"
"Ah, that."
"I wonder how I can find my half-sibling. Do you think they would want to meet me? Do they know our mom has passed?"
You sighed loudly. "Kitty, I love talking to you but we went over the same questions yesterday."
"Sorry." she said in a small voice. "I'm just really excited."
"I know." you gave her a smile.
"We have a watch party tomorrow evening at your dorm, by the way, if you didn't know."
"I didn't know." you frowned.
"It's normal, I just planned it with Q. You can join us. Min Ho's going to participate."
You faked a smile and walked straight to the library. She really was determined when she had a plan in mind...
Tumblr media
Q had begged you to join the Outdoors club. While you weren't one for physical exercise, you did love enjoying nature. So you agreed to go to the first hike at least. When you considered having packed everything you needed, meaning sunscreen and a bottle of water, you went to the living area and just had to listen to Min Ho whine like a child.
"I really don't remember giving permission to Y/N to use my custom blend products. She doesn't even need to use them, she has her own stuff!"
Dae zipped up his bag and ran out the door in a second. "Sorry, man. Got to go." he said quickly before closing the door.
"Thanks, great talk!" he yelled back even though Dae couldn't hear him anymore.
He seemed to not have noticed you were in the living room as he slumped on a stool and took out his phone. He looked at it for a bit and then sighed.
"You're always busy, you're never around." he said out loud before dialing to call someone.
"My darling boy!" a female voice spoke.
"Hi, Mom! You're doing good?" he waved at the phone.
"Yeah, just about to head to set." she informed.
"I miss you."
Your heart warmed up from the cute interaction. You were happy to know he had a great relationship with his mother, which you wished you still had.
"But since you're more important, should I tell them to wait?"
He paused for an instant. "No, it's okay. Let's just talk next time."
"Okay, kisses."
He hummed as the call ended. His head down, he folded his phone and breathed out. He kept the same position and you noticed that his jaw clenched.
"Your mom seems sweet."
He turned to look at you and was suddenly alert of his surroundings. "You heard?"
"Not on purpose, I was getting ready for the hike."
"I see. Yeah, my mom's great."
"That's good." you awkwardly went to the front door and put on your shoes while he stood still at the counter, not having moved much. "See you later, Min Ho."
"See you."
When you joined the group outside, you were surprised to see Kitty already stretching out. You walked up to her and asked what she was doing there.
"Q suggested I joined the club so I can have some time with Dae without Yuri around." she explained. "As friends, you know?"
"That's a good idea, yeah." you nodded in agreement.
Q was quick to arrive and encouraged everyone present to do some stretching beforehand. Dae then arrived as well and was surprised to see Kitty there. He joined her the moment he laid eyes on her and she explained to him that she wanted to stay friends. But it was rapidly ruined when Yuri spawned out of nowhere like a character in a video game. She interrupted their conversation and led Dae away from Kitty.
"Do I really have to hear from Min Ho that you're hanging out with Kitty?" you overheard her say.
Just when you thought the man had some sort of feelings behind his pretty face, he had to pull a move like this. Kitty changed spots and, after sending a glare to Yuri's direction, you moved as well and positioned yourself next to Q.
"Alright, who's ready to go on a hike?"
And Min Ho spawned too, and just right next to you. You were about to question him on his presence but Dae was as perplexed as you were and asked him first.
"What? I can't hang out with my best friends?"
You rolled your eyes at his behaviour. If there wasn't anyone else around, you'd definitely be beating the shit out of him. And what annoyed you even more was Madison coming up to him with a flirtatious look on her face. Though he surprised you by not looking so thrilled with her advances. You were thankful that Q started the hike soon later and you stuck with Kitty to avoid having to witness Madison almost drooling over Min Ho. It also allowed Kitty herself to forget about Yuri's presence.
"You guys are making great time. Let's keep with the pace, people!" Q encouraged proudly as you were almost to the top.
Walking behind Yuri, you almost walked into her when she stopped so suddenly and let out a yell. She jumped around trying to get worms off her and Kitty took the opportunity to go see Dae.
"We're in nature, embrace it." Q tried to get some sense into her but she kept on yelling.
"They're just worms, Yuri." you said but in vain, she wasn't hearing you.
"Is it on me? I thought the worm followed me, where is it?" she talked to herself.
"I'm surprised you aren't the one screaming about bugs." Min Ho joked as he joined your side.
You moaned in annoyance. "I'm not talking to you."
"Why not?"
"I think you can answer that yourself." you spat out.
Not looking in front of you properly, you didn't see that Kitty had tripped. Luckily, Dae caught her but as for you, you halted your moves too fast and fell backwards. And again, Min Ho was the one who caught you in time.
"So clumsy." he tsked at you.
You quickly broke away from him and cleared your throat. Meanwhile, Yuri interrupted the duo in front of you and Q went on about safety before walking again. You definitely regretted coming here.
"You still haven't answered my question."
"What question?" you acted clueless.
Min Ho chuckled. "So we're being petty now?"
"I'm always petty with you." you argued.
"You weren't this morning."
You groaned, growing impatient with him. "Can't you leave me alone for a day?"
He didn't know what to respond and you took it as he understood the message. With that being said, you fastened your pace and arrived next to Dae.
"Hey." he smiled at you.
"Not in the mood, just walk."
The poor guy gulped but listened to you and didn't speak to you again. But your hike was halted once again when Kitty and Yuri started to run to the end.
"Just, make sure that you stick together!" Q yelled at them.
"I'm pretty sure they can't hear you." you smiled at him sadly.
"I know." he shrugged.
Min Ho then went to Dae causing you to walk away from them. You hated this, all of it.
"Why did you come?" Dae complained to his friend.
"Because I'm looking out for you, that's why I called Yuri."
"Let me deal with it on my own."
Dae came next to you again, visibly avoiding the man as much as you were.
"So much drama." you heard Madison from behind.
"No one asked." you said loudly for her to hear.
Tumblr media
With Kitty running away from the hike, you went on with the watch party without her. After Q set up everything, he sat next to Florian while you sat on the floor to let them have their moment. Focused on the screen, you were disappointed to get interrupted by Min Ho walking out of his room.
"Hey! My mom is in this. She plays the king's second daughter."
"Nice, now shut it." you said rudely but he dismissed your request as Florian asked him about her.
"Does she still act?"
"Oh, yeah. She's absolutely smashing it right now in LA. She's up for a role as a mermaid in the mafia."
"Great, can you go now?" you asked, insistent since you didn't want him to be ruining Q's moment just like he had done with Kitty.
He ignored you again and walked to the couch, asking Florian to scooch over to leave him space to sit.
"Oh, I could give you, guys, the behind-the-scenes dirt on this." he continued and you mentally cursed at him.
"Okay, I love dirt." Florian replied.
He finally shut it for a while and you thanked whoever for it. As per usual, it didn't last long.
"It took that guy twenty takes to nail that."
You threw your head back in disbelief. Was he that clueless to not get a hint? The thousands of glares he got from you and Q weren't enough?"
"Oh, hey, look! It's my mom."
"Oh, wow." Florian commented. "She's gorgeous."
"I know! Thank God I got her bone structure."
"Taking any opportunity to make it about yourself, uh?" you turned to look at him.
The infamous smirk was already there. "Always."
"Wait..." one of the other guys said. "Didn't your mom and dad have that messy divorce?"
"The whole mess was exaggerated to sell magazines." he said in defense right away. "But yeah, they did get divorced."
That part was said which a much calmer tone, it sounded almost sad to you. Determining that it was enough of him ruining Q's evening, you let out a long breath.
"Okay, we get the point." you announced as you got up. "Your mom's an actress, it's great and all but I need to talk with you."
You took him by the arm and forced him up. He tried to stay at his seat but you were stronger than he expected. So he let you forcefully get him off the couch and you dragged him back to his room, not forgetting to close the door.
"Is it the moment that we're supposed to kiss after you reveal you have a crush on me?"
You scoffed. "So you really do think about yourself all the time. I was saving your ass from talking any more about your parents and that's how you thank me?"
He smiled with a knowing look. "So you do care about me."
"I care more about Q. Tonight was for him to make a move on Florian but you couldn't shut it."
"Well, how was I supposed to know that?"
You deadpanned at him. "Really? Ah, you're killing me."
"Fine, maybe I did get the message but I'm looking out for my friend."
"Yeah, just like you're looking out for Dae when it's none of your business."
"Y/N, this isn't your business either."
You huffed. "You're damn right it isn't but for some reason, I get dumped with all of it and it's a hassle to carry so many drama when it doesn't even involve me."
"Just go away then!" he snapped at you. "If it's that hard to deal with."
Your jaw clenched as you stayed still, glaring at one another. You scoffed once more and left his room without adding anything else. It took you aback when you heard him follow you. The other guys had already left so only Q remained in the living room. That made arguing less embarrassing.
"Y/N." You stopped and waited for him to continue. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean that."
You went to hide in your room and you heard him sighed in defeat. You didn't know what was up with him today but it only confirmed to you that you wanted nothing to do with him.

anywhere || eddie munson x plus size!reader
cw: angst, talking about drug usage, eddie's in the hospital post-vecna, your mom kinda fuckin sucks, best friend!eddie who likes you more than you realize
a/n: that one line in the muppet babies theme song fucks me up every time. literally every time I hear it I tear up. so thanks for that jim henson.
-----
"When your world looks kinda weird and you wish you weren't there," Eddie's terrible Kermit impression makes you laugh so hard you almost spill the bowl of cereal you're pouring. You hit him back with your equally terrible baby Miss Piggy voice.
"Just close your eyes and make believe that you could be anywhere!"
Eddie snorts at the way your voice cracks trying to hit notes your voice was not made to hit.
"Shut up, that was flawless and you know it," you hand Eddie his bowl with a grin and plop down on the couch next to him. Were you watching cartoons made for children? Yes, but who didn't love Kermit the Frog and his adorable little muppet friends?
You missed this, being here with Eddie. A lot had changed since you started going to college last year while Eddie stayed behind to be a senior for a third time, but not this. Your friendship never changed. It was something you treasured coming home to, when you could. School was starting to pile up and these visits were becoming few and far between, but Eddie would always be your Eddie. You were sure of it.
"So you're leading up Hellfire now, huh?," you asked Eddie as you finished your cereal. He took your bowl and put it on the coffee table with his, not meeting your eyes. Maybe you shouldn't have brought it up. The two of you didn't talk about it much, him still being in school. Like you didn't want to break the spell that everything was normal. The two of you hanging out like normal, like you did since you were kids. It was comfortable, you didn't want to ruin that.
"Yeah the, uh...yeah. It's up to me now I guess. The guys know they can't compete with my campaigns."
He's smiling, all cocky because it's true, they're always amazing. But his smile doesn't quite reach his eyes.
Weren't your just saying nothing had changed? Maybe you a lot had changed and you just weren't paying attention.
"I miss adventuring with you," you sigh, snuggling into Eddie's side until he puts his arm over your shoulder. "And the guys."
"Yeah, they miss you too," Eddie's voice sounds strained. You try to move thinking you're laying on him in a weird way, but he just pulls you closer, tighter.
You spend the rest of the morning watching cartoons. Eventually you forget the weird tension, putting it aside to enjoy your day with your best friend before you have to leave again.
-----
It's a year before you see Eddie again.
School was tough, taking up so much of your free time you barely saw anyone besides the librarian and the two people you shared a dorm room with. You had tried to join a DnD club at school but your schedule didn't line up well with the rest of the group. And it wasn't the same. You missed Eddie's energy, his frantic dramatics. The guys were cool but sticklers for rules and, to put it nicely, boring.
You couldn't take being away from home any longer, you missed your friend.
So when your mom called one Friday afternoon and told you, in her own bizarre and nonchalant way, that Eddie had been in some trouble recently and, "I'm sure you saw the news about the earthquakes," you came straight home.
"You know, I always thought he was a nice boy. Did you know he was selling... grass," your mom whispered the last word like police officers would be knocking down her door if she spoke too loud.
"I didn't." You did. You also partook, but your mother didn't need to know that.
"Anyway, everyone got all upset when that little cheerleader died, but when they found him, like that, I guess they thought he was a victim too. Can't maul yourself like that, that's for sure."
"Oh my god, mom," you stand up, your chair harshly scraping against the linoleum. You can't sit here and listen to this any more.
"Where are you going? I have a pie in the oven."
Your mom follows you to the door, huffing like you're the one being ridiculous. She never liked Eddie much but the ease with which she talks about your childhood best friend being... mauled...
"I'll be back later."
You don't wait for her to respond, slamming the door as you go. You hop in the hand-me-down car your dad gave you before you left for school, peeling down the drive and heading straight for the hospital like you should've done when you got back. Tears cloud the edges of your vision until they spill over, you don't bother wiping them away.
-----
"Hey, you're Eddie's girl."
"Excuse me?"
A short, curly haired boy in a baseball cap appears next to you when you ask the receptionist where Eddie's room is located.
"It's okay, Brenda. She's with me." You snort out a laugh when the boy tips his hat to the woman behind the desk. Her smile and the wave of her hand tells you she is in fact used to this.
"I'm Dustin," the kid explains as you follow him through the maze of hallways and elevators. "Eddie's told me a lot about you. Recognized you from the picture he thinks I don't know about in his glove box. Not my fault he just shoves stuff in there. If he didn't want everything to spill out he should organize. Not that I'm great at organizing either-"
"I'm sorry," you stop Dustin's rambling, your head spinning from all that information, narrowing in on the one that stuck. "He keeps my picture in his van?"
"Yeah a few in his room too. He's just down here. You just missed the guys, Jeff had to go to work and he was their ride so they left. Wayne will be in later. He usually stops by after work."
Dustin kept talking and you tried to keep up but the closer you got to Eddie's room the more your ears rang and your chest felt tight. You knew it was bad, he'd been in for a few days and was still heavily sedated after a number of surgeries. Wayne told you the day before you came back on the phone that he might not be awake when you got here. The old man might've been trying to spare you the trip, but you were coming to see him no matter what. You should've come back a long time ago.
Standing outside his room now, the year you were away felt like an eternity now. How had your Eddie changed? Was he your Eddie anymore? Was he ever yours?
"Hey, you comin' in? He's still sleeping."
Steeling yourself with one deep breath, you enter Eddie's room. With one look at Eddie and you're asking Dustin for a minute alone, pulling up a chair by his side.
"Sorry I'm late, Eddie. Traffic coming out of the city is crazy." You laugh at your stupid joke because you'll cry if you do anything else. You don't think about the air tube in his nose or the beeping heart monitor, the bandages on his arms or how hollow, how fragile he looks.
"My mom said you've been selling 'grass'," you chuckle as you twist one of his curls around your finger. "Should I tell her how many times I snuck out to smoke with you? She's already mad at me for taking time off from school to be here."
Eddie lays there as you talk, sleeping softly as you compliment the cards and flowers on the window sill. You tell him how the past two semesters of school have been, how miserable you've been without him, how guilty you've felt for "missing" his calls, not reading his letters because you've been too exhausted to do anything that wasn't surviving and work.
You're holding his weirdly ring-less fingers, contemplating leaving instead of holding out hope that he'll wake up while you're here, when you hear a familiar theme song on the television.
"When your world looks kind of weird,"
Your gaze falls from the TV to your friend in his hospital bed.
"And you wish you weren't there,"
Your eyes close wishing you were back in Eddie's house, stoned out of your mind doing muppet impressions.
A tear falls down your cheek as you close your eyes and sing along with Miss Piggy, not caring how ridiculous you sound.
"Just close your eyes and make believe and you can be anywhere."
You choke on a sob, suddenly angry at this stupid kids show for making you lose it when you were holding yourself together so well.
"Still sounds awful."
You open your eyes, wiping your tears away with your hand not in Eddie's at the groggy sound of his voice. He's holding the other one tight, almost too tight, like you'll run if he lets go.
"That was a perfect impression," the words stutter on a heaving breath but you're smiling through it.
"I'm on so many drugs."
"I'll go get the nurse," you laugh, trying to pull yourself together.
"No," Eddie just barely tugs on your hand, not yet strong enough to pull you close. "Don't leave."
"I'm not, I won't. I'm here, Eddie. I'm sorry."
Eddie's eyes flutter shut, too tired yet for a full conversation, but he won't let your hand go. You find the call button next to the bed to call the nurse and wait.
"I'm not going anywhere."

Step-sisters
Tumblr media
Y/N: 16 years old Nat: 18 years old Wanda: 16 years old Yelena: 16 years old Story: Y/N and Nat broke up when Y/N's dad and Natasha's mom announced their engagement… ——————————————————
Y/N'S POV When my dad announced me that he was getting married, I was shocked. If he's not at work, he's usually just home watching TV or something. So I have no idea where did he meet Melina.
I want only the best for my father and I would be really happy for him if Melina wasn't my girlfriend's mother. Natasha and I had only been dating for a month when my dad told me his soon to-be-wife will be moving in with us along with her daughters.
When I saw Natasha standing on our porch with a suitcase, my world fell apart. My feeling were… still are too strong for the redhead, but because faith decided to mess with us, we can't be together. We're step-sisters now.
It all would be somehow okay if Natasha wouldn't have her new girlfriend over every time our parents leave the house. I know I shouldn't have these feelings, but every time I see Maria near Natasha, jealousy takes over me and I better spend the rest of the day alone in my room.
Dad and Melina are out of the town for a few days, so right now I'm in the living room, cuddled up to my cousin and best friend Wanda on the couch while watching a movie. Wanda and I have always had such a strong relationship, we're more like sisters and we know everything about each other.
"You guys are so annoying" Yelena groans, flopping on the couch next to us. "If Natasha and her girlfriend aren't occupying the TV then you and your girlfriend occupy the TV. I want to watch TV too" Yelena complains with a sigh, crossing her arms over her chest.
"Wanda's not my-" I start, but Wanda cuts me off by covering my mouth with her hand so I couldn't speak.
"We're sorry, Yelena. How about Y/N/N and I go upstairs, so you can watch TV?" Wanda offers, her hand still covering my mouth. "Right, my love?" She asks, pressing a kiss to my forehead. I give her a confused look, not because her kissing my forehead, we do that all the time, but because her acting like we're dating. Wanda gives me a stern look which tells me to better agree with her.
"Mhm" I nod. "Sure, we can go upstairs" I smile, handing Yelena the remote, getting a 'thanks' from her in response.
Wanda interlocks our fingers while walking all the way from the living room to my bedroom upstairs. Of course we have to bump into Maria and Natasha on the stairs.
"Babe, we could go to the cinema tonight. How does that sound?" Wanda asks, looking at me.
"Hm. Sure" I answer, remaining confused, but Natasha's look was worth it.
As soon as I close the door of my room, I turn to Wanda who's comfortably sat on my bed by now.
"Okay. Wands, you know I love you, but we're cousins and it's just… gross" I tell her immediately, Wanda looking at me with an amused look.
"You're such an idiot sometimes, Y/N" She chuckles. "Natasha's looking daggers at me every time I come near you. She obviously still has feelings for you and the fact that they think we're dating will only make Natasha jealous and fight for you" Wanda explains.
"Wanda, how many times have I told you that Nat and I just can't be together. We're sisters and it's just weird" I sigh, flopping on the bed next to her.
"Step, you're step-sisters, Y/N. You're not related by blood, it's legal. Plus, I see how much you love her, so as your cousin AND your best friend, it's my duty to get you two back together" Wanda smiles.
"I really appreciate that, Wands, but-" I start, but she cuts me off.
"No buts, Y/N" She tilts her head which is my sign to shut up.
"Fine" I sigh.
———————————
Dad and Melina are coming home today which means Maria will finally leave and I won't have to spend days locked in my room.
"I'll see you at school" I smile at Wanda, walking her to the door. She stayed here over the entire weekend, playing on my girlfriend in front of Natasha, Maria and Yelena. I'm still not sure about this, but I've learnt to listen to Wanda, cause she's always right.
"See you tomorrow" She kisses my cheek as Natasha's with Maria behind us. "I love you"
"I love you too" I wave her goodbye and Wanda is gone, soon followed by Maria.
I make my way to the kitchen, taking a glass from the cupboard and filling it with water.
"So you're with Wanda now?" Natasha asks, also taking a glass and filling it with water.
"Yeah. Is anything wrong with that?" I ask before taking a sip of my water.
"… No. Not at all" Natasha clears her throat before answering. The way how tightly she's holding the glass tells me otherwise though, maybe Wanda was right and her plan is starting to work.
I place my glass on the counter, taking Natasha's from her hand as I really don't want it to break and cut her hands from how strong her grip over the glass is.
"Break up with her" Natasha blurts out. I knew how much jealous she can get and honestly I find it quite hot on her, but Wanda and I have only been playing on girlfriends for 2 days.
"What?" I laugh out, sitting on the kitchen counter.
"Break up with Wanda" She repeats, moving to stand right in front of me and putting her hands on the kitchen counter on each side of my thighs, trapping me there.
"And why would I do that?" I ask, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.
"Because I can't see you with her, Y/N" Natasha sighs, her gaze at me softening.
"At least you know how I feel about you and Maria" I sigh. "Natasha, I still have feelings for you" I admit, playing with the rings on my fingers. "It hurts me to see you with her"
"You were the one who broke up with me, Y/N" She sighs.
"Because we're sisters now, Nat" I sigh, now playing with Natasha's arrow necklace. "But I just can't help myself and think about you all the time" I rest my forehead on hers, hoping she won't push me away and will say the same thing.
"Fuck, who am I kidding? I have feelings for you too. I started dating Maria, because I was trying to get you jealous" Natasha sighs.
"Would you… maybe… want to try it again? And go on a date with me?" I ask, shutting my eyes close and hoping for a 'yes'. Natasha nods her head slowly, breathing out a 'yeah' and wrapping her arms around me, hiding her head in the crock of my neck. I smile, pressing my lips to her forehead before wrapping my arms around her neck, hugging my redhead tightly.
It's safe to say that Wanda's plan worked and I have to thank her for that. I don't know how Nat and I will tell our parents if we start dating again, but hopefully they'll take it well. Maybe Nat and I could ask Wanda for help once I tell Natasha Wanda's my cousin and not my girlfriend…

Slight MCU AU (Female Reader X Natasha Romanoff)
Summary: Your neighbor across the hall isn't anything like you thought she'd be.
Word Count: 3.5K
TW: Men, Guns, Violence, Bad Flirting
Tumblr media
Your life has always been a series of ups and downs.
After graduating from university, your life took a turn. Some would say for better. Some would say for worse.
You got the dream job you wanted! But it took you to a brand new country away from everyone you knew.
Your girlfriend, who you planned to propose to, was happy for you! But she wasn't happy enough to stay.
You got a cat! A pet you always wanted! But it turns out it wasn't a stray. It was your neighbor's cat who loved to wander the streets.
So yeah. These last six months haven't been your brightest time. But you tried to be a glass-half-empty person: greener pastures and all that jazz.
So when your neighbor with the whore of a cat moved out, you were determined to become friends with whoever moved in.
Oh yeah, you also needed friends...
So the day you were walking up the stairs to your apartment and, a redhead you've never seen before whizzed by you. You got excited! But before you could even open your mouth, they were gone.
Okay. They're speedy, you noted. You'll catch 'em next time.
Except you didn't. Because unbeknownst to you, the redhead didn't just get home late. They got back home past 4 in the morning. Hair flowing in different directions. Her leather jacket scuffed up as if she was in a bar fight. The bruises on her face would give that impression, too. Plus, she was quiet.
So quiet that you failed to notice that the redhead had been living in her new home for three days prior.
She would roll her eyes at that word. Home. Sure, the apartment was very nice. Had all the parts she needed. But she didn't care where she was stashed as long as she got the job done. Plus, home wasn't a word for her. It never existed in her eyes.
Well, maybe once, but.. never mind.
"Clint, I got the intel, but I'm gonna need a few more days." Your neighbor spoke into her flip phone with such conviction. "Look, the guys I'm tracking can lead to something bigger. Just give me a few more days. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. I'll be waiting for his call." She threw her phone down onto the round wooden dining room table before bending back into the uncomfortable chair.
She knew she should get up. Go take a hot shower. Bandage up her knuckles and tend to her bruises. But with each blink happening in rapid succession. The redhead fell asleep while sitting upright in a chair that her back would curse for years to come.
Across the hall, hours later, you had already gone on your Saturday walk, had your breakfast, showered, and not so subtly waited for any signs of life coming from the woman you saw once. Was it weird? Maybe. Maybe yes. But even you would admit you were desperate for a friend. Or anybody who wasn't stuck in a screen when you wanted to talk. Plus, she was pretty. Or so you think. She had a cap on and dark glasses when you saw her yesterday, but her jacket looked incredible, and she had cute pink lips.
Not that you noticed!!
So, with it creeping closer to early afternoon, you decided to take the initiative. Standing here in front of her door, you were about to knock when a voice stopped you. "Excuse me." Turning to your right, you were met with a tall, broad, shouldered man. Black hair. Dressed in black. The vibe you were feeling wasn't right. Back in the States, you would guess he worked for the mob. "Yes?" You asked, looking him up and down.
"Sorry to bother you. But I'm having trouble finding my friend. She says she lives in this building, but I can't seem to find her. About this tall." He raises his hands just past your head. "Red hair." Oh shit. "She has a if looks could kill kinda attitude as well." He forces out a chuckle you know to be fake. But you fake laugh with him. Afraid of what will happen if he knows you've seen her or if he finds her.
"Wow, she sounds like quite the character. But no, I'm sorry, I haven't seen anyone like that here." You lie through your teeth. Something you don't like to do, but you're just hoping he doesn't notice. "Oh really?" The man's face turns from a fake smile to a fake frown. "Yeah, I'm really sorry." You shrug. You think that'll be it too. Thinking the man will leave with a simple no, I don't know her. But he's a man. They take no for an answer.
"Are you sure? Because I thought maybe this was her place?" He points to the door you're both in front of. You look from his eyes to the door. Shit. Think! "Oh no." You shake your head. "I mean, unless your friend turned into an old woman with a tabby cat who has a knack for playing gin rummy every Tuesday night, then I don't think so. The woman plays cards, not that cat! Although maybe we could teach him-"
"Okay, sorry to bother you." Without another question or look from the man, he turns his back to you and starts walking down the stairs. Frustrated with the answer you gave. Quietly, you move closer to the banister as he descends, hoping he'll prove his real intentions for being here. To your surprise, he does when he reaches the bottom floor.
"Yeah, I checked. She's not here, but..." His voice fades out as you faintly hear the doors to your building open and close. Turning around now, you have a different mindset about the woman across the hall. Before, you were simply going to ask if they had any allergies you needed to know about. Because you planned on making them homemade bread. Banana, to be specific. Well, if she could eat it. But now that was the last thing on your mind. When you looked at the door now, you can't help but feel bad for how much trouble she seems to be in. Taking a few steps closer, you ready yourself to knock on it again. Hoping to find answers.
"Okay, knock in 3..2..." Before you can even process 1, the door opens, and you get pulled into the room with a force you've never felt. Firm hands grip themselves to your arm before turning your body around in a flash so they have a hold around your waist. Keeping your face away from seeing them. You feel her body against yours, quickly short-circuiting your brain before the loud slam of the front door snaps you out of your thoughts.
Scanning the room around as quickly as possible while your neighbor holds you tight from moving, you see things you've never seen before. Files spread across the room in another language—a sniper positioned in the window and lots and lots of spy stuff.
Shit. Shit! This woman was dangerous.
"кто ты?" (Who are you?) The same woman barks, making your eyes go wide at the foreign language used and how lovely her raspy voice sounds. "кто ты!?" She barks again before pushing the backs of your knees out from under you so you fall to the floor. Arms pinned behind you. Fuck that's really going to hurt tomorrow, you think. Wait, if there is a tomorrow!
You rack your brain, trying to think of what she could be saying and what proper response would be beneficial for this particular moment, but your mind keeps getting distracted as the roaming hands of the woman keep touching you.
The redhead above you didn't get a good look before pulling you in, or she would see that there is no way you could be a threat. "Šíření!" (Spread!) She tries a different language, Czech, to be exact. Yet you still don't know it. You don't know any other language aside from English and the little bit of Hungarian you've been learning since you moved.
So her order for you to spread goes right over your head. Maybe if she asked nicely in English, you've complied...
"Oh my god, what are you doing?" You ask as the grip tightens around your wrists and the feeling of her fingers slides along your thighs. But you get nothing in return, only frustrated grunts from the woman holding you down, finding nothing on your person.
"Please, I'm sorry. Just let me go, and I'll pretend I didn't see anything or that I didn't enjoy-"
"Shut up!" Finally! English! She speaks it! "Ow! Fuck! You speak English?!"
"Who are you? What do you want?" Her fingers run through your hair, digging into your scalp before she grabs hold and lifts your head up. "Answer me!"
Remember what I said? Ups and downs.
"I'm sorry. Shit. I- I'm just your neighbor from across the h-hall.. fuck.." The small moan that escaped your mouth could've been mistaken for a groan of pain caused by the redhead.
But Natasha Romanoff knew better.
She knew exactly what that noise that left your mouth meant. Which also confirmed what she was thinking. You weren't a threat.
She loosened her grip on your hair but kept tight around your wrists. "Name? Give me a name." Her tone is softer and not as harsh.
"Mine?" You asked, confused by the whole situation. "Obviously." The spy rolled her eyes but had to hide the smirk, forcing its way onto her mouth.
"Y/N Y/L/N!" You answered honestly. Natasha could tell it was honest, too. Your rapid pulse she had her fingers pressed against didn't waver anymore than it already had by the older woman being on top of you. "And no one sent you?"
She began to loosen the grip she had on you as a whole.
"What?! No one sent me to check up on my neighbor. But Goddamn, this is the last time I'll do that." Natasha thought for a minute as your breathing began to calm down. "KGB? Hydra? MI6? Ring any bells?"
"No, I swear." Natasha thinks again. "Okay." Her voice goes back to a normal volume. One you find delightful even in this particular situation. "I'm going to let you go. Don't do anything stupid." She warns with a smile.
"Okay. I'll try not to." You say knowing you were prone to have stupid things happen to you. "Just please don't hurt me." You mumbled, but Natasha doesn't respond. Instead, she lifts herself off your body, removes her hand from your hair, and lets go of your wrist, which will completely have bruises tomorrow.
Once you feel the air touch your skin again, you crawl a few feet away before turning over.
You like to think that the first thing you laid your eyes on was the redheads apologetic smile, but it wasn't. It was her green eyes. You swear you had never seen anything more beautiful until you looked down the rest of her body. "You're beautiful." You let slip. Surprising the woman staring back at you.
Except she wasn't stupid. Instead of opening her mouth, Natasha kept those those words on the inside.
You're beautiful.
"Oh my God, ignore that. I'm sorry! Does that count as a stupid thing?!" You panicked, only earning a tight smirk from the redhead. "I'll let that one slide." She gets up and walks past you. Leaving you on the floor. "Besides, you're not so bad yourself."
You're brain short circuits for the second time in the last five minutes. Pretty spy dangerous lady called me beautiful?! You couldn't muster any more thoughts, so instead, you turn your gaze to the woman, watching her as she starts packing up. "What are you doing?"
"Packing."
"Why you just got here? Plus, what was that whole thing? Attacking me? Hello?" Natasha stops packing and looks at you. "No one is supposed to know I'm here. Within three days, I've been comprised by my neighbor from across the hall. I can't take the risk." Natasha says point blank while effortlessly avoiding your other questions.
You're not sure how to respond to that. But you know that you should probably get up off the floor. So you do that as the woman goes back to packing. She starts with clothes before moving on to guns. Lots of guns. "Whoa."
You take in all that you're seeing. "Who are you..." You felt the need to ask the unaskable question. "A person you shouldn't try and fuck with." She answers without any sense that she's joking until she winks at you.
Oh, you wanted to moan all over again.
"Should I leave?" You say to disrupt her and the growing silence. "Not yet. I still need answers from you. And to make sure that if you're ever asked. You never saw me." You nod, following along to her words. "Okay." You take a step forward, thinking it'd be a stupid thing to take a step back towards the door.
"Good." She says before dialing someone with a phone, you haven't seen in years. "Go secure. I need a cross reference on the person occupying the apartment across the hall from me. Give me everything. Bank records. Death certificates. Occupation. Everything. You have five." She flips the phone closed and sets it down before her eyes lock on you.
"I need you to sit in this chair for me." She pulls out the chair directly in front of her and her belongings. You would typically agree what, given the situation and the sight of her left hand on the grip of a pistol. But instead: "No."
"What did I say about doing something stupid." The woman groans, making you smile. Just a little over the tiny amount of control you have at the moment. "I'm not sitting on the chair until you give me your name. And the reason."
"You do realize I'm the one holding the gun, right?" You nod. Terrified of guns, but you nod as she waves it in front of you. "I do. But you're not going to shoot me or anything because, from what I just heard. You're waiting on your friend to see if I'm telling the truth, but I have no reason to lie to you."
Natasha couldn't believe what she just heard out of the mouth of that sweet little face. Here's the kicker. You're right. Natasha honestly hates that you have the upper hand at the moment, but Natasha's the Black Widow. She can flip the script as easy as one.. two.. "Please. Be a good girl and get in the chair."
You've never sat in a chair so fast in your life.
In fact, the second your butt hit the wood, you were mentally cursing your legs for betraying you. "How did you do that?!" You looked to her green eyes for an answer, but you both knew. "Alright, fine. Can I at least get a name?" You huffed as she gently handcuffed your hand to hers.
"Natalie." She replied as if that was her real name. But you took it for face value, even throwing Natasha a "thank you."
"What's that?" You asked, pointing at a pile of small silver discs. "Oh, don't touch those." She quickly moves them away from your reach. "They'll electrically shock you and leave you incapacitated." Okay. Good to know. "No touch, got it." You dryly chuckled, earning one from the woman who had no issues being handcuffed to you.
"How many languages do you speak?" You figured if you're going to be waiting, you might as well get to know Natalie. "Do you want to guess?" She smirks at you as she puts away her laptop. "Ummm, five?" You look up for an answer but only receive a shake of the head. "More than five?"
"More than 10, dear."
10?! Dear!?!
"Wow." You mutter. "What about you?" Natasha feels the need to ask. Plus, she wants to know more about the young woman she's handcuffed to. "I'm sure you'll find out when your friend calls back."
"Yeah, but I want to hear it from you." You look up to see her already smiling at you, forcing a shade of pink to sneak onto your cheeks. "Umm, it's not nearly as impressive. But one." You meekly answer, earning a chuckle from Natalie. "You're right.. that's not nearly as impressive."
"Hey!" You groan and whine. "It's two on a good day if I can understand what the vendor down the street says. It's not easy learning Hungarian."
Natasha nods. "You're right. It's not easy. But you picked the perfect city to learn it." You have to agree with her.
"You're right. Budapest is wonderful."
"Budapesht." Natasha can't help but correct you. "Huh?" You look to her, who looks down on you like an English teacher. "Budapesht." She repeats. "That's how you should pronounce it." You shake your head "No. It's Budapest. Your way is wrong."
"No, my way is right. It's Budapesht. You just don't know any better." You scoff, which Natasha takes as a sign to go on the attack. "Oh really?!" She starts. "I'm sorry, but who in the room is the world-class spy, and who is the.. the.. the whatever it is you do!?" She looks at you, who stutters for a moment.
"That's what I thought."
You go to fight back. Which frankly is an unwise move, but you're thankfully interrupted by the sound of the flip phone ringing.
Natasha answers it with urgency. "Clint, you're on speaker; which is it, Budapest or Budapesht??"
"Oh God no. Please stop this. Take me off speaker."
You watch Natalie roll her eyes as she takes the man, Clint, off of speaker. "Okay, shoot your arrow. What have you got for me." Natasha yanks on the handcuff, pulling you to make you look up at her. She holds a finger to her lips with a look in her eyes that you read as "Don't be stupid."
You not as she sets the phone down in the middle of the table on speaker.
"Okay, so Y/N Y/L/N. Born in California. Yadda yadda. Excellent student. Blah, blah, blah. University. Bank is in the green. No sign of trouble. Oh. Is the daughter of two former shield scientists before they lost their lives in a fire. Not Ohio. No Hydra connections either."
Clint quickly adds, confusing you.
What's shield?
"Relationships, let's see... looks like her most recent ex is one Gewn Stacy, and before that it was... Kate Bishop. The second one sounds familiar... Anyways, occupation.. occupation.. Stark Industries. Relocated to where she currently is. Moved into the apartment across from you six months ago. Isn't one to cause trouble. No arrest records or complaints of any kind. I can't find anything else on her. She's clean. Looks like you got a golden retriever living across from you, Nat."
The man finishes up before Natalie or Nat picks the phone up. "Okay, thanks, Clint. Yeah, no, I'm sure she won't be any trouble." Nat looks at you with a smirk, making you shift in your seat.
"Yep. Uh-huh. No. Could you not mention it to Fury? I got it. Okay. No, it's Budapesht. Bye." She clicks the phone shut and looks at you with a smile before laughing. "What?" You ask as you start to smile. "Nothing." She says before she controls her laughter. "No, come on. What!" You plead as Natalie picks up the key to the handcuffs. "It's just... I attacked you earlier because I thought you were dangerous, and here I have handcuffed to me is the most prett- perfect, sweetest person ever, apparently." The pink hue on Nat's cheeks gets missed by you.
You laugh at Natalie's explanation as the cuff slips from your wrist. "Well, I must be scary a little bit. Plus, I think I'm really good at lying!" You fess up. "Not to me, you're not," Nat calls you out. "And you're not scary." She picks up her bag and moves it to the counter to pack her suit.
Now it's your turn to roll your eyes. "Well, I have to be good at one of those things." You say as you get up and follow her around the kitchen and into the living room. "Why is that?" Nat is curious as to what you're answer could be.
"Well, how else would I have gotten rid of that guy earlier?!"
Natasha wasn't expecting that. "What guy?" She turns to you with a stern, calculating look. "Th-the guy. Tall. He was outside your door. Asking about you. I sent him away." Natasha shakes her head and rubs to her bag, grabbing two pistols. "How long ago?"
"What?" You question. Nat runs past you. "How long ago was the guy here?"
"I-uh.." Since Nat's hands and sweet voice were all over and around your body, you truly lost any concept of time.
Nat ignored your non-answer as she looks out the window where her sniper is positioned before turning to you with a worried look.
"Y/N GET DOWN!"
Yeah, there will be a pt2 in the future.

"Hey"
"What?"
You were eating the bento you prepared this morning. You didn't have any class now so you decided to eat at the cafeteria with your new friend that you met a week ago.
"Those guys have been looking at your for few minutes now."
You looked to where she pointed and indeed they were still staring at you. Even though you already looking at them but they didn't budge instead they kept on staring at you.
"Do you know them, y/n?"
"No, I never see them."
You continue eating your meal. Your friend noticed your hands shaking a bit after you looked at the boys but she didn't say anything. After few minutes, the boys finally walked out from there. The nervous in your system finally went away.
-------
"Bye. I see you tomorrow, y/n."
"Alright. Take care."
Both of you bid goodbye to each other. You planned to have some studies at the library first so you asked your friend to go home without you.
You went to the washroom first to do some business. When you done and wanted to wash your hands, you looked up at the mirror and saw someone that you really didn't want to see now.
"Riki...."
"I miss you."
At this point, Riki already caged you in his arms. You were stuck between the sink and him. He went closer to kiss you but you dodged your face quickly made him scoffed. So, he just kissed your ear instead.
"Riki, I'm begging you please stop doing this."
"Y/n, I'm just a guy who wants to show my love towards you."
"By stalking and following me everywhere??! Riki, this is the five times I transfer school in two years. Can you just- just move on?"
"I'm not stalking, y/n. I'm just making sure you are safe."
"Yeah, sure. That's what you asked to your friends too, right? Making them watching me like a creep. I can't even eat peacefully."
"You can just pretend they are not there, baby. Plus, I asked them to do that so they will prevent you from any harm."
You pushed Riki's body so he can get off you but the male is stronger than you. He hold both of your hands and pulled you closer so he can hug you. He caressed your hair gently and whispered to your ear.
"I'm wondering what would your dumb boyfriend think when he saw us like this, in this place? I still remember his sad face when you wanted to leave."
"Please, Riki. Don't do anything to him."
"If you give me a kiss, I would think about it."
------
😲dang, i hope you guys enjoy this😆i just did this few hours ago so I dont know if its good or nah
Also can you guys believe 😭😭 I got 3.67 pointer for my exam😭😭 this is gonna be a bright future for me😵‍💫😵‍💫

could you write anything with plus size ted lasso x plus size reader 🥺👉👈
happy holidays 🎄
As a full-figured unicorn myself, I appreciate this ask! I think Ted would be so into it. He likes to be warm and snuggly and boy howdy is a curvy body good for snugglin'. Let's gooo!
---
Relationship: Ted Lasso x reader
Warnings: Cuddle, cute and smut - HAPPY NEW YEAR!
---
Ted couldn't help his eyes and where they went.
Whenever you walked in the room, or down the hallway, his eyes always roamed.
You dressed modestly at work. You saw how Rebecca carried her own curves and if you had the money (and time) you'd love to drape yourself in designer garments made for curves.
But your skirts and blouses did their job, keeping you professional at AFC Richmond.
And those were just fine for Ted Lasso.
"What are you lookin' at, Coach?" Beard asked, seeing Ted staring down the hallway where you were departing. Ted didn't answer for a second.
"Coach?"
"Huh?"
"I said what are you looking at?"
Ted watched you turn right and leave his field of vision. And oh God, to him, you were a vision.
"Uhhh..."
"Why don't you ask her out?" Beard asked with a smirk, knowing what Ted was gawking at.
"What? No. Don't be silly. She's just a friend."
"A friend you can't stop staring at. A friend who makes you speechless, even when I'm right in your ear?"
Ted nods and puts his hands in his pockets.
"Ask her out. You get along. She's fun. You clearly enjoy each other..."
Ted frowns and furrows his brow, nodding. "Mmmhm, let's go get Roy and talk strategy."
...
Ted finds you at the coffee machine humming a little tune, swaying your hips as you pour in your sugar.
Sugar. Oh, he'd love to call you 'sugar.'
Ted clears his throat. "Hey there, good mornin'."
You get startled by him behind you, and you smile brightly. "Oh, good morning, Ted! How's your day?"
"It's goin' OK. 'Scuse me," he says, opening a cabinet above you to grab a mug, his hand on the low curve of your back, making you shiver.
The tension could be cut with a knife.
Since starting at the club, Ted was... a dream. His smile. The way his eyes lit up and crinkled at the corner. His laugh. His voice. That deep Kansas drawl that made your back tingle, like his hand on your back...where it still is...unmoving.
Ted takes a breath and removes his hand.
You look at each other for a moment that feels like a lifetime.
"Say..." Ted starts, while you stir your coffee and smile. He stops, lost in your eyes.
"Yeah? What's up?"
"Would you...wanna grab dinner sometime?" Ted asks pensively, staring at the coffee in his cup, the steam rising, his own body temperature spiking in nervousness.
Your heart almost drops in your chest.
"Really?"
Ted quickly backtracks. "Y'know, just for fun. It doesn't have to be...y'know, a..."
"A date?"
"Yeah, that."
"What if... it's okay if it's a date?" you ask with a smile. Ted smiles, too.
"Then sure, it's a date."
...
And that's how you found yourself across a candlelit table at a small Italian restaurant in Richmond.
You opted for something more bold to wear. A cute red dress you bought at a boutique on a shopping excursion with Rebecca and Keeley. Higher price than you'd like to pay, but the girls said you looked like a bombshell.
You weren't sure about that. You couldn't help keeping your arms around your middle. Pulling and tucking where you felt self-conscious.
But Ted. The way he looked at you when he saw you outside.
"My, my, look at you," Ted said with a low, husky voice. Almost as if his thoughts escaped without censure. "I mean, you look lovely."
You blushed wildly and Ted opened the door and led you inside, his hand on your lower back again.
In Ted's mind, the curve of your ass, the way your hips moved, the way your hair flowed...
Down, boy.
He couldn't stop looking at your chest. The swell of your breasts in the dress. The way they bounced when you laughed.
The way your cheeks blushed.
The way your smile lit up his whole world.
Dinner was delightful. Sharing stories, sharing wine, giggling. You loved Ted's stories and anecdotes, and he seemed equally charmed by yours.
When he walked you home, he struggled to not want to hold your hand. But when you near your front step, he takes the chance.
His big hand grabs yours gently, his fingers dancing with yours. And at the front step...
"Thanks for the lovely evening, Ted. I hope we can...do it again sometime."
Ted smiled bright, happy that you enjoyed it as much as he did.
"I would...love that."
You wait a second and take a small breath, deciding to go for it.
"Would you...like to come inside?"
"Yes ma'am!"
...
Ted watched you pour a glass of wine for each of you. And he couldn't help the way his eyes glazed over as you walked back toward the couch, sat down, and crossed your legs.
Those thighs. He wants to kiss every inch of you...
Ted sets his wine glass down and looks at you.
"Listen, I wanna be honest..."
You take a breath.
"Lemme guess, you wanna be friends?"
Ted's stunned for a second. "What?"
You smile sadly. "I... know you're going through your divorce. And I know you've been dating Sassy. It's OK if this was..."
Ted stops you.
"I'm not dating Sassy," Ted corrects. "Sassy was..."
"Pretty?"
You're trying to swallow down your insecurities. You know Sassy. She's smart and witty but beautiful and...
"Sassy was a mistake."
Stunned. Silence.
"I really, really like you," Ted says, his voice low again, vulnerable but sexy.
"I really, really, really like you," you add, smiling, blushing wildly. Ted moves closer.
"Would it be alright if I kissed you?" he asks nervously, his eyes looking into your eyes, then at your lips.
"I'd like that."
His lips touch yours and your eyes flutter closed, your mouths moving in unison, his hand coming around your hip, the other cupping your face.
His tongue teases your lips and you open to him, and it deepens. The most incredible kiss of your life. Ted pulls away, his breath quick.
"I've wanted to do that for a long time," he whispers to your lips, which are now moving under your ear, down your neck.
His hands run down your body, your skin tight and tingling at the sensation. At the need. Your soft moan drives him wild, your body warm and hot and tender...
"God, and I've wanted to touch you..." Ted murmurs to your skin, kissing your collarbone, his hand running back up and over your breast.
"These curves drive me wild," Ted mumbles, his kisses getting more intense along your skin. "I...God, you're just..."
Your lips find each other's again, and Ted encourages you to his lap, your dress pushing up over your thighs, tight around your hips, and Ted moans, a deep, masculine sound from his chest.
The way your mouths move together, the way he nibbles your bottom lip. The way his mustache feels against your lips, the way your fingers feel in his hair...
Your hands roam down to his chest and you moan again, and you've never been so turned on.
"God, Ted..." you whisper, kissing his jaw, his neck...
"Bedroom?" you ask and Ted nods. "Please."
...
Ted Lasso knows what he's doing.
His lips are between your full thighs, his big hands wrapped around the soft skin, the way he moves them up your belly and sides. The way they knead your chest.
When he climbs back up to you, your chest heaving for air from an insane climax from his mouth, you pull his lips to yours and his body settles between your legs, which you wrap around him.
"I can't stop touchin' ya, sugar," he says, kissing down your neck again, his lips wrapping around your breast, your nipple.
He finally got to call you 'sugar' and it feels so right, your body so sweet...
When he slides into your body it's a feeling of fullness like no other. Ted Lasso...
His hips. Your hips. His breath. Your breath. His moans. Your moans.
"Ted...I'm..."
"Yeah, baby, come for me. I want to see your beautiful body come..."
It sends you over the edge quick and fast, hearing him say those things, his hands squeezing your plushy flesh at your hips and thighs, his head tucked near your breasts, and then your neck.
"That beautiful body is an instrument I wanna play over and over again," Ted murmurs, joining you in climax, your name on his lips, pet names he loves to say...
...
In the morning, Ted is wrapped behind you, his hand on your tummy, holding you close. You smile as the sun peeks through the curtains.
When you stir, he smiles, his lips brushing your shoulder.
"You awake, sugar?" he asks, peppering your skin with kisses.
"I am," you smile.
He snuggles up tighter to you, his cock hard behind you against your ass again, making him groan.
"You're so damn incredible," he whispers, nibbling your ear. "It's never felt so good."
You turn in his arms.
"Same for me. I'm... still... God, Ted. I never thought I'd get to be with you..."
Ted smirks and is curious. "Why? You're gorgeous and smart, and funny and bright. And don't get me started on this body..." he says, his eyes and hands roaming again.
"Well, because... I just thought you maybe had a type..."
Ted stops and looks at you. "Type?"
"I'm not Sassy. Or Michelle. I'm..." you say, your eyes drifting down your body.
"Better than that," he finishes, kissing your lips, his hand cupping your jaw again, gentle and warm.
"I know what you're gettin' at, darlin', but I ain't bitin'," he says, his deep hazel eyes looking into yours. His hair is flopped over his forehead adorably, and he's even more scrumptious like this.
"You know what I love about ya?" he asks sweetly. "I love how your hips sway when you walk. I love how your breasts bounce when you laugh. I love the way your cheeks blush when you smile. I love how warm you are to snuggle with, how soft your skin is... how you wrap those perfect curves around my body..."
Your eyes flutter closed as he kisses your neck, your chest against the hair of his, making you spark up again.
"But your brain and your humor and your kindness and gentle nature... I mean, you're the whole package, sugar. I'm the lucky fella that got to take you home."
You hum and smile.
"And I'm damn lucky," Ted says, rolling between your legs, nuzzling your neck with his perfect nose. "And I'd be a damn fool to not do it again and again and again..."
---
My writing is rusty, I apologize. I love romantic friends-to-lovers stories so that's where I went with this. I hope it checked the box? I'm trying to dust off my writing skills again. It's been a few weeks. I do think Ted would be just... enamored with a plus size partner. Thanks for the prompt, friend!

“Sarah, I need your opinion on something.” You said as you walked into her room. “Have you seen these like pheromone perfumes on Tiktok?”
“Oh my god yes! Been wanting to try it out.”
“Let's fucking do it.” You pulled up the website on your phone and quickly order 2 bottles.
“Wait… who are you gonna use it for?” You ask.
“I've been kinda seeing this guy at school for a while and I think it's serious. We've got our 5th date in about a week so you know what that means.”
“Ahhh I do. Well hopefully it'll get here before your date.”
Within 7 days you received a small box in your mailbox and quickly ran over to Joel's.
“Sarah!!” You squealed as you ran to her bedroom. “Look what's here!”
“Yes!!” She takes the box and quickly opens it pulling out 2 roller ball perfumes. She opened one and put it up to her nose. “I mean… it smells good but like, it smells the same as any other perfume.”
“Aww...” you pout. “Well that was a waste…”
“I'll still wear it on my date tonight. Maybe it affects men differently?”
“Fingers crossed I didn't just waste $40.” You said, making Sarah laugh.
“Whatcha got there girls?” Joel said making you and Sarah jump.
“I told Y/N about my date and she ordered me some perfume for tonight. Just got here in time.” Sarah said smiling innocently at Joel.
He laughed and rolled his eyes playfully at her. “Speaking of date… since Sarah's gonna be out why don't we go on a date?” Joel asked, looking at you.
“We'd have to go out of town honey.” You felt Sarah elbow you on the side making a light bulb go off in your head. Date out of town means getting a hotel room, and getting a hotel room means wild monkey sex.
“Sarah you can manage the house by yourself right?” Joel asked.
“Of course, dad. No worries here.”
**
Later that afternoon you walked out of your room with an overnight bag and grabbed your keys and purse.
“Where you off to?” Your dad asked.
“Couple of girlfriends are throwing a sleepover.”
“You never mentioned a sleepover.”
“Yeah but I wasn't sure if I was working this weekend and I'm not so I decided to join last minute.” What a good liar.
“Okay, just be safe.”
“Will do, dad.” You walked out of the house and saw Joel leaning on the hood of your car with his overnight bag and you tossed him the keys. You tossed both of your bags in the back and sat upfront. Joel got in and drove off. You felt your phone buzz and saw Sarah had texted you.
Sarah: wear a condom ;)
You: haha you too <3
About an hour later you ended up in San Antonio. Joel pulled into this beautiful hotel and opened the door for you.
“What a gentleman.” You teased. He wrapped his arm around your waist and walked you in. Not long after, you got into the elevator and went up to the room. Walking into the room it felt like a dream come to life. There was a beautiful king sized bed in the middle of the room that faced out across the city skyline.
“Jesus, Joel... you went all out.”
“Well, I realized we've never really been on an official date so I had to make it special.” He kissed your temple and pulled you close.
“What do you have planned first?” You asked.
“Dinner in about an hour? That enough time to get ready?”
“Plenty.” You pecked his lips and grabbed your bag, making your way to the bathroom.
You took a quick shower and tossed your hair up into a neat bun, leaving your neck exposed. You slipped on a short, dark red dress that accented your body beautifully. You applied mascara and lipstick and looked over yourself in the mirror and walked out of the bathroom, locking eyes with Joel. He was in a black button up shirt with his sleeves rolled up to his elbows. His shirt was tucked into a pair of khakis and dress shoes, with his gray curls slicked back. Not gonna lie, just looking at him dressed up made your panties get soaked.
“Must be a fancy place.” You hum.
“Only the best for you, darlin’...”
After a short drive Joel pulled in front of the restaurant. It was so damn fancy, the name of the restaurant was hard to pronounce.
“Let me go check and see if the table is ready, I'll be back.” He kissed your cheek and got out of the car, making his way inside. You pulled your phone out of your purse and heard something drop onto the floorboard of your car. You leaned down and saw it was the pheromone perfume.
“Forgot about you...” you muttered to yourself. “Here goes nothin’.” You rolled some on both sides of your neck right under your ears and a little on your wrists and your ankles, just ‘cause Joel tends to like your ankles around his head. Sarah wasn't wrong, it smelled good but just like any other perfume.
Joel walked back out and jumped into the car. “They said about another half hour.”
“Okay honey, we can wait.” He grabbed your hand and pulled it close to his nose. He started sniffing up your arm and right to the spot under your ear where you put the perfume on. You swore you could hear him groan.
“Fuck, you smell so fuckin good…” he muttered against your skin, making you giggle.
“Thank you, baby.” Thank you Tiktok.
You walked into the restaurant with Joel and sat at the table. You flipped through the menu and muttered.
“What was that darlin?”
“Don't even know what half of this stuff even is…” you said giggling.
“First time being wined and dined?” A woman said as she aproched the table. She was skinny… like the skinny every girl wants to be; no tummy, big boobs and big butt. She had long blonde hair and looked about Joel's age.
“Crystal?” He said as he stood up and pulled her into a hug.
“Joel Miller! Who would have thought I'd see you here on a date.” She said, laughing. Fuck… she had a perfect laugh and perfect teeth too. She turned to you and smiled, holding out her hand.
“Don't mean to be rude. I’m Crystal, an old friend of Joel's.”
“Y/N, I'm his girlfriend.”
“Girlfriend? Wow. Took me years to break him out of his shell and only once did I hear the L word. But don't worry you got yourself a good man sweetie.” She smiled and gave Joel one more hug before she walked away.
“Ex-girlfriend?” You asked, looking back down at the menu.
“We used to hook up. Years ago.”
“Ah. I see.” You said coldly. He grabbed your hand and placed a small kiss on your wrist.
“Nothing compared to you.” He said, making you smile. Couldn't stay mad at him forever. It was her loss.
After you both finished your meals you convinced Joel to order the one thing you've been looking forward to since you got here; chocolate covered strawberries.
“Don't understand the fuss of fruit dipped in chocolate.”
“Because you've never tried them. Here.” you grabbed a strawberry and held it up to his mouth. He took a bite causing strawberry juice to run down his lips and down your hand.
“Okay, that's pretty good…” he said as he ate what he had in his mouth.
“Told you. Gotta expand your taste palette.” You wiped his bottom lip with your thumb and unexpectedly he grabbed your wrist and took your thumb in his mouth. He ran his tongue down, licking up all the juice that was left behind, making you whimper.
“Taste and smell good.” he smirked
“Baby, you have no idea.” You winked at him.
After what felt like forever (well at least it did for Joel) you walked back into the hotel room and kicked off your heels and tossed your purse and phone on the small dresser under the TV. Joel quickly stripped down and picked you up and tossed you on the bed.
“Can't be smellin that damn good while we're out in public darlin… you know how many times I wanted to sit you on that table’n fuck you in front of everybody?”
“Why didn't you?” You teased.
“You woulda liked that wouldn't you?” He quickly unzipped your dress and tossed it to the corner of the room. He looped his fingers around your panties and slipped them off making you gasp at the cool air hitting your wet core.
“Look at that… already fuckin soaked...” he wasted no time and slid right into you making you ball the sheets into your fists. He always warmed you up but tonight he couldn't wait any longer. You felt his girth stretch you out blissfully, making both of you groan.
“Fucking hell, Joel.” You moaned out.
“That’a girl. Takin’ my cock so fuckin’ beautifully.” He fastened his pace as he grabbed your ankles and rested both of them on his shoulders.
You clenched around him, anxious to see what he would say when he would catch a whiff on your ankles. He turned his head and kissed the inside of your calf and made his way down to your ankle making him chuckle at the smell.
“Filthy fuckin’ girl. You know how much I like having you like this...” he grabbed your legs and pushed them far up to where you were the one with your ankles on each side of your head.
His thrusts got more brutal and in the new position he had you in made you feel everything.
You moaned out a string of curses only making Joel be even more brutal. He felt you tighten around him letting him know you were close. He quickly pulled out of you making you whine at the empty feeling.
“Joel!” you yelped.
He wrapped his hand around your neck and pulled you up close to his face. “Don't be a brat.” he spat out.
“I was close.” You whined again. He tightened his grip on your neck a little more and pulled you off the bed pushing you down to your knees.
“Open.” He said. You didn't want to give in, you were having way too much fun, so you shook your head “no” making his eyes turn dark.
“I said…” he lets go of your neck and grips onto your jaw tight, making you whimper. “Open your fuckin’ mouth.”
You looked up at him and opened your mouth, sticking your tongue out. His hand moved to the back of your head as he wrapped your hair around his fist. He leaned down and spit on your tongue. You quickly swallowed and opened your mouth back up again, just begging for more.
He tapped his tip on your tongue, making the precum drop in your mouth. He put his other hand on the back of your head and pushed you all the way down his length, making you gag. You tried pushing back a little to get some air but he was too strong.
“Breathe through your nose, girl. Don't act like you've never choked on my cock before.” He started moving your head up and down his length, each time his tip hitting the back of your throat, making you gag, making tears roll down your cheeks.
Joel pulled you off his dick by your hair with a string of saliva still connecting your lips with his tip. You looked up at him, breathing heavy with your eyes all puffy, mascara streaks on your cheeks and your lips swollen.
“You done being a brat?” He asked as he wiped the corner of your mouth. You take his thumb into your mouth and nod. He pulled his thumb out, making a small *pop* sound.
“Yes daddy… I'll be good.” You muttered, still trying to catch your breath and clearing the sticky precum that was stuck in the back of your throat.
“Good girl. Up.” He demanded. You quickly got up and he wrapped your legs around his waist. He walked over and opened the sliding door, walking both of you out on the balcony.
“Joel.” You breathe.
He pressed your back against the railing and wrapped his hand around your neck again. “Want you to be real good for me darlin’ and listen. I want you to be loud. Want the whole fuckin’ city to hear you screaming my name.”
“Y- Yes daddy…”
“Good girl...” he lined himself up to your entrance and slammed back into you, making you yelp. He wrapped his other arm around your lower back and started pounding into you. You dug your nails into his shoulders, trying to keep yourself up on him. He thrusted into you brutally, making you scream his name over and over and over… no doubt everyone in the rooms connected to yours heard you.
“Music to my fuckin’ ears.” He said as he gripped your neck tighter.
“Can't no one fuck this pussy like me, baby doll. Fucking remember that.” He grunted.
“Yes, Joel, fuck yes!!!” you cried out, tossing your head back with your eyes closed, making Joel start sucking on your neck like a damn vampire. You opened your eyes and felt tears stream down your face.
“Takin’ my cock so fucking well, doll...” Joel groans into your neck. You tried to respond but all that came out was mumbling nonsense.
“Look at you... so fucked out you can't even talk right.” He saw the tears drying on your cheeks and chuckles. “Cryin’ over daddy's cock aren't you?”
You tried responding again but the only thing that came out was his name. He moves both his hands to your ass and walks you back inside. He walked you over into the bathroom and sets you down, bending you over the sink. He grabs your hair and pulls your head up making you look in the mirror. He wasn't wrong. You looked so fucked out you didn't recognize yourself.
“Eyes on me the entire time. If you don't listen, you don't get to cum.” He slides back into you, making you groan, missing the feeling of him even though it was only a minute. You kept eye contact through the mirror but you couldn't help but glance at your own face. Eyes all puffy cheeks full of mascara stains and a red handprint on your neck along with a few hickeys. He wrapped his hand around your neck again and pulled you close so now your back was touching his chest, making the tip of his cock hit that beautiful sweet spot.
“God fuck, Joel, I’m gonna fucking cum!!” You screamed out.
“That's right baby doll… milk my fucking cock with that delicious pussy.” He groaned in your ear. You felt your eyes roll to the back of your head as you released your juices all over him. His thrusts became more sloppy the more tight you got around him.
“Good fucking girl. Gimmie one more.” he wrapped his hand around and rubbed your clit roughly making your vision blur.
“Sh- Shit!!” You felt your legs wobble as a stream of hot cum squirted out of your cunt, making Joel groan and fill you with his hot sticky seed. You felt your walls milking him, making sure every last drop was safe inside you. You rested your head on his shoulder, trying to regain feeling in your legs and trying to get your breathing back to normal.
“Fuck...” he groaned. “I swear to God your pussy is so fucking magical darlin’..”
You chuckled at him. He slowly slid out of you and sat you up on the counter. You wrapped your legs around him and pulled him into a kiss.
“I love you…” he muttered on your lips.
“I love you too Joel…”
**
The next morning you woke up and found yourself alone in bed. You grabbed your phone and texted Joel.
You: where are you baby?
Joel: downstairs grabbing breakfast. Get dressed and I’ll wait for you darlin.
You got dressed and made your way down to the lobby. You looked around and saw Joel sitting at a table with Crystal, the woman from last night. You got a little closer so you could hear what they were saying but not too close to where they could see you.
“Joel… I miss us.” She said.
“Crystal-” he began.
“I heard you and your little play toy last night fucking like rabbits on the balcony. Reminded me of how you used to fuck me. Tell you the truth no one's made me feel the way you did, Joel.” She said as she rubbed her hand up and down his bicep.
“What the fuck…” you muttered. You felt your heart drop to the pit of your stomach. You quickly went back up to the room and started packing your things. Not long after Joel walked in and found you sitting on the bed, staring out the window.
“Darlin’? I was waiting on you.”
“Oh… sorry I wasn't feeling good so I went back to sleep. Just woke up.” you stood up and grabbed your bag. “Ready to go?”
“Yeah… let's go.”
The entire car ride you stared out the window and didn't say a word. Joel tried starting a conversation but you just replied with either “Mhm” or “Yeah.”
He pulled into your drive way and noticed your dad wasn't home.
“Wanna come to my place? Maybe we can sleep some more.” he said
“No m’fine.” you took your keys from him and walked into your house locking the door behind you feeling tears roll down your cheeks.
**
It had been a few days since you spoke to Joel. You’d come home from work and would see him outside staring at you waiting for you to come over and kiss him but you just waved at him and went inside. You did that every day. Until he got sick of it.
You were sitting in the living room when your phone went off right next to you.
Joel: meet me at my house. Now.
You sighed and slipped your shoes on and made your way over. You only knocked on the door once and he opened it, pulling you in.
“What the hell, Joel? Let me go.”
“What's wrong with you?” He asked.
“I don't know what you mean…”
“You haven't said more than 2 words to me since last weekend. I thought we had a great time together.”
“We did Joel.”
“Then what's fucking going on with you??”
“You and fucking Crystal!” You yelled out, leaving Joel speechless. “I saw you talking to her in the lobby the morning we left. She was talking about how much she missed you and how no man can make her feel the same way you did.”
“Y/N…”
“I don't blame you, you know. She's pretty and skinny. She must be a good lay since you fucking hugged her. Oh and she's not 30 years younger than you, so there's that.”
“Y/N it was nothing! We used to hook up. Why are you getting so bent out of shape over this?”
“Because I love you, you fucking idiot!!” You sobbed. “When I said I love you it wasn't post sex I love you it was an I love you I love you.” You quickly wiped your tears and took a deep breath. “I never asked you to say it back… but the fact that you told her you did and all she was was a hook up buddy-”
“She was just my friend with benefits. I didn't love her like I love you…”
“Y-You do?”
“Christ girl, yes. Fuckin’ crazy about you. Can't get enough of you. You not know how bad I want you to just move in here with me? I wanna spend every moment with you. You’re the last thing I wanna see at night and the first thing I wanna see in the mornin’...” he grabbed your hands and pulled you closer to him. “I love you, Y/N…”
“I love you too, Joel…”

Be My Queen
Chapter 5
Eddie Munson x Reader x Steve Harrington
This is a repost since the old blog doesn't work anymore. 🥰
Chapter summary: well... more hanging out at the hospital... and nightmare.
Chapter warnings: trauma, non-con touching, blood, Vecna being a fucking creep.
Tumblr media
I can't breathe.
Something is wrapping itself around my neck, I try to push it away, but I can't move either.
I open my eyes and the once white ceiling of my hospital room is now red, dirty and... it's breaking.
I feel panic overcoming my senses, I try to move my head, but nothing. I look around with my eyes as much as I can until they land on a tall veiny figure.
No..
"I told you, my love"
No. No.
"I'll always find you"
"Let... let go.." I try to say, even though the thing around my neck makes it harder.
Vecna only shushes me, walking closer to me still laying on my back.
"Pl-... please" I plead with tears in my eyes.
"Ssh my sweetness, sh... I'm doing it for you, for us" he explains "I can't let you escape me, not again"
"You're dead...you..."
"I'll never be dead for you" he holds his hand out close to my face "I'll always be with you, my queen"
"No..."
"Just accept it." He puts his hand on my face "all I need to do, now, is killed those stupid friendsof yours. They'll regret touching what's mine."
"No!"
--------------
I sit up, in my hospital bed... in the hospital room... with white ceiling...
A nightmare.
"Hey, hey, you okay?"
Steve.
I turn my head to look at him and I let out a sigh of relief, I move my hand to hold his.
"Yes... I'm sorry... I-"
My explanation is interrupted by a nurse rushing in.
"Is everything okay here?" She asks.
"Yeah... just a nightmare" Steve explains quickly.
"Oh" the nurses smiles understanding "poor thing, I'm afraid being attacked by a bear could do that"
I look at Steve confused.
"Yeah..."
"I wonder how a bear got there and then disappeared, just like that... I hope they find it" the nurse sighs.
"So do we"
"Well.. if you two need anything, call" with that she walks back out and I turn to look at Steve.
"A bear?" I ask.
"Don't look at me, apparently that's what Jason told the police" Steve says "but.. are you okay? You were moving a lot and I couldn't wake you"
"Just a nightmare" I answer.
"Wanna talk about it?" He offers and he kisses my hand.
"I... I was here... but so was Vecna. He was again holding me down and just kept telling me he will always find me" I explain holding his hands tightly, purposely leaving out the 'I'll kill your friends part'.
"Hey, hey" he makes me look at him "he won't. He's dead, alright? Nancy made sure of it. Used all the bullets we got. He can't hurt you."
"I know... it.. it just felt so real" I say sadly.
"It's gonna be hard, but we're gonna get through this. Okay?" He kisses my hand once again.
"Okay." I squeeze his hand while I sit up. "But... isn't it too early? You too had to rest, you know"
"I couldn't leave you alone for too long" he smiles "plus, it seems I did the right thing"
"Yeah... gotta say you did. Thanks"
"No problem"
"You saw Eddie too?" I ask.
"Not yet. I basically just arrived."
"You think we can go together?" I ask, hoping he would finally let me out of this bed.
Steve scans me.
"Fine. But let me ask the nurse first" Steve says standing up and walking to the door catching a nurse attention probably.
I start to pull myself out if bed, not waiting for Steve.
"I told you I'd ask the nurse first" I hear Steve walking back with an exasperated laugh.
"Too slow" I answer.
"Lean on me at least, you stubborn girl" he holds his arm out for me to take, and I do.
"Thanks, love"
I follow Steve through the hallways of the hospital until we get to Eddie's room.
To open is not Eddie, nor any of the nurses, but it's Eddie's uncle, Wayne. He seems surprised, but smiles anyway.
"I heard you should be resting, young lady" he playfully scolds me putting his hands in his hips.
I don't respond, instead I laugh and hug him. He hugs me back, he's careful, he doesn't want to hurt me I think.
"Hey, she's my girlfriend, man" Eddie playfully complains.
When he pulls away he smiles at me.
"I believe I should thank you" he tells me.
"What for?" I ask.
"Are you kidding?" It's his time to be confused "Eddie told me you basically saved his life"
"Oh... I... no I mean, that was nothing. He too... he too saved my life. Well.. we all saved each other's lives... basically" I stutter out.
"Oh no, he's right. We all should thank you actually" Steve intervenes.
"There's no need" I simply say, smiling at Wayne and walking to Eddie who's sitting on the bed, he looks so much better thankfully.
"Yes there is" Eddie says grabbing my hand and helping me sit on his bed.
"I mean it, kid, thank you." Wayne insists with his comforting smile. "Whatever you might need... you can ask me"
"Just say 'welcome', you know him, you won't make him change his mind" Eddie slightly nudges my shoulder.
"Yeah, I can see where your stubbornness comes from" I joke then turn to Wayne "I still think you don't have to thank me, but... you're welcome"
"I'll leave you three be" he says.
"There's no need Mr Munson, we came to see how Eddie's doing" Steve tries to make him stay.
"Don't worry about me, I'll just go grab some snacks and a coffee. God knows I need it. You two gave me quite the scare. If you didn't come in here on your own, I'd be on my way to you by now" he smiles again.
"Sorry" I chuckle.
There was a whole month where Eddie's van couldn't start so I offered to drive him, along with the others of course, and since he was the last one to be dropped off he often offered to hang out, that's how we bonded and how Wayne became uncle Wayne for me too.
"I'm just glad you're all fine. Oh, and you" he points his finger at Steve who looks taken aback, almost worried "call me Wayne"
"Alright, sir... uh.. Wayne" Steve chuckles.
When Wayne walks out Steve joins Eddie and I.
"So? How are you doing?" I ask Eddie.
"I'm completely fine, actually." He answers. "I'm just a little worried about the whole 'wanted for murder' thing.."
"Dustin intercepted the police talking and apparently Jason and his other goons talked to them and... well... you're not wanted anymore. The cops might still want to talk to you, though." Steve explains.
"Really?" I'm surprised, Steve nods and Eddie just sighs, relieved. "That's great"
"Yeah... never expected them of all people... but hey... after all that happened I should not be surprised" Eddie jokes
"No, I think we should all be surprised by this" I laugh.
"How about you, love?" Eddie asks.
"I'm fine. It's still painful, but I got used to it" I shrug, my eyes fixed on our hands together, but once I look back up I gasp, panicking.
Henry's in the room and he's looking at Eddie and Steve with so much hate I'm surprised they're not dead on the spot.
"Hey" Eddie gently shakes my hands, regaining my attention "you okay?"
"Yeah... yeah, I'm.. I'm good. Sorry" I stutter out, I don't want him to worry because I'm having stupid hallucinations.
"She had a nightmare" Steve blurts out.
"Steve!" I glare at him.
"You had a nightmare?" Eddie's concerned face turns to me, his hands caressing mine.
"Yeah..."
"Was... was it Vecna?" He carefully asks.
"Yeah... uh... can we talk about it later? I really don't feel like talking about it.. again" I say lowering my eye to our hands again.
"Sure... yeah, of course, sweetheart" Eddie says leaning down to find my eyes and smile at me.
"Thanks"
"So... what are we gonna do on our first date, uh?" Steve asks, changing the subject.
"I think... since she saved us all, Y/n should decide" Eddie proposes.
"No, no... it's our first date... ours, let's decide together. C'mon" I chuckle, they're so cute.
"Babe, do you realise what you've done?" Steve says, putting his hands on mine and Eddie's, I look at him confused.
"I... guys.. C'mon. I wasn't the only one doing something" I tell them.
"You're the one who risked her life the most."
"you ended up here too I see."
"That's because I'm stupid, love." Eddie jokes, earning a small laugh from me and a nod from Steve.
"You're not." I tell him "really. We all did our part, okay?"
"Love, listen" Eddie starts "Stop putting yourself down like this. Yes, we all did our part, but without you... without your courage we couldn't have done anything. He would've won. You put our lives before yours with no hesitation, we would be dead without you."
I shake my head, nervously smiling.
"You were the one at risk because he wanted you more." Steve continues "all his sick thoughts for you... his desires. You were risking so much more than any of us... and you still did it."
"How about..." I swallow "how about we each decide a part of the date? Like... uh... where to eat, what activity and when do it?"
I look at them, both of them smiling at me.
"Alright" Steve says squeezing my hand and kissing my cheek.
"That works, love" Eddie agrees.
"So... Eddie decides where to eat, Steve the activity and I decide when... since I'm still in pain... okay?" I ask.
"Perfect" they both say.
---------------
"I missed you, my Queen"
I open my eyes immediately at the sound of his voice. I quickly sit up straight, taking in the red surroundings too.
Vecna's mind.
No.
Shit.
Not again.
"I told you, you'll never escape me" he says.
I turn to where the voice comes from, noticing his closeness and I immediately move back.
"Stay away!" I scream and try to stand up but my legs fail and I fall back on the ground. When I look back up I once again see the blonde man from my visions. That somehow scares me even more and I crawl away as far as I can, but his hand grabs my ankle pulling me to him.
"Did you warn them? Did you tell them not to touch you again?" He asks, voice full of disgust.
"I said, stay away!" I move my hand to push his away, but it just makes him grab me harder "please... please... leave me alone.." I sob.
He gently, but firmly, grabs both my hands, moves them so I have no choice but to lay on the ground, his weight on top of me makes it harder to move as he pushes my hands to the ground.
"Go away... go.. go away" I keep muttering as he leans down so his face is mere inches from mine.
"Sshh... it's okay." He tries to calm me down "I'm here to help you, my queen"
"No... no... please, stop... Please stop"
"Don't you see? I'm doing it for you" he kisses my cheek and gets back at looking at me, "I want to help you, like you did for me" he moves one of my hand to his face, his cheek "You were what got me going all that time in that prison, I wanted you in my world... you would make it so much better, I just know it. You heal me, without even trying"
I try to retract my hand, but his grip tightens.
"No, I don't want... I don't... want this... please"
"Your simple touch" he continues, ignoring my pleads "your simple touch alone would heal the deepest of my wounds"
I again retract my hand, this time he lets me and stands up, so I take the chance and crawl as far as I can, until my eyes find some behind him.
Oh no...
Steve and Eddie are tied up with a vine around their necks.
"NO!" I scream again. "No... no please let them go.. please"
"I warned you" he says before the vines start to tighten around their neck.
"Stop! Please, Henry..."
At the mention of his name his features soften, but the grip on Eddie and Steve doesn't loosen.
"I'm doing it for you, my love" he says.
All I can do is scream at him.
-----------------
"She'll be so happy to see you." Steve says to Eleven, Mike, Will and Jonathan as he leads them to Y/n's room "She's probably taking a nap."
"She must me exhausted" Will guesses.
"Is she.. is she alright, though?" El asks.
"She is... she had a nightmare last night. I'm afraid he's gonna haunt her for some time still" Steve answers sadly "I.. I don't know what to do"
"Be there for her, man." Jonathan suggests "it's what we all can do at the moment"
Steve nods.
As they near Y/n's room, they hear noises coming from inside. Muffled screams, bed moving..
Steve immediately panics and rushes to the room, the other close behind.
"Y/n?" Steve enters, eyes immediately on her.
She's tossing and turning and screaming. Steve's heart breaks at the sight.
"Love? It's me... it's Steve... c-can you hear me?" He tries to call her. "You're safe... I'm here... we're all here. He can't hurt you"
"Steve?" Mike calls him.
Steve turns his head towards Mike and notices everyone are looking past him, worried. He turns to look down and see blood all over Y/n's chest.
"Call someone!" He screams at the others, will and Jonathan both run out to look for a doctor or a nurse.
Once the doctor and nurses arrive, they tell everyone to just wait out because they need to take Y/n immediately to surgery.
------------
"Missed me already? I was about to..." Eddie starts as he hears the door opening and sees Steve coming in, but stops talking as soon as he sees his face. "What... what's going on?"
"Y/n.."
Eddie's blood runs cold immediately.
"What happened to her?"
"I... I think she was having another nightmare..." Steve explains, breathing heavily from crying, "she was tossing and turning... I.. I tried to call her, let her know that we were there... El and the other arrived this morning and... she was screaming, Eddie... then she started to bleed, her wounds on her neck..."
Eddie doesn't know what to say, all kind of terrible thoughts floating in his head, he pulls Steve in a hug to help him calm down and to help himself calm down.
"The doctors took her to surgery... I.. I didn't know what to do. "
"She's strong... she's.. she's gonna get better... I know, I just know, " Eddie says, more to himself, actually, but he says it loud enough for Steve to hear too.
"She is.. I'm just scared, man, " Steve confesses."I don't know what to do without her. "
"Neither do I... but we won't have to find out... right? She... she'll be fine and she'll be here... in our arms sooner than we think... yeah?"
"Yeah, sooner than we think." Steve nods, still crying.
------------
My eyes snap open immediately, my breath heavy. I try to sit up. I want to rub my eyes but my hand are blocked somehow, I look down almost panicking, but as soon as I see Eddie and Steve holding gently my hands while sleeping with their heads on the bed my heart melts and I calm myself.
They must sense my movements because they jump up looking at me shocked.
"Oh my god, you're okay" Steve exclaims kissing me. That catches me off guard a little because it takes me a little to reciprocate and even when I'm about to he pulls away so Eddie could do the same.
"Holy shit... you scared the shit out of us, love" he says.
"What...why?" I ask, confused.
"You... you didn't realise what happened?" Eddie asks.
I only remember I was having a nightmare.
I shake my head no.
"I was coming to see you and when I arrive you were having another nightmare I think and you were tossing and turning and screaming and... you were bleeding so much they had to take you away." Steve quickly explain "I was so scared, love... so scared"
"How do you feel, though? Are you in pain? What.. what happened? Was that actually another nightmare?" Eddie keeps asking.
"I..."
"Let her breath, Munson" Steve chuckles.
"Sorry, sweetheart"
I move my hand to cup his cheek wiping away some tears.
"I'm okay... no worse or better than before, I think..." I look down" I was... I was having another nightmare, yes."
"Oh love" Steve leans down to kiss my hand. "Again?"
"Yes... uh... still Vecna... still couldn't move, but... but.. this time you were there and... you were dying" I say, my voice trembling.
"We're here... we're safe, and so are you, okay?" Eddie comforts me.
"Yes..." I say "yes, you're right... it just felt so real"
I hear a knock on the door and I flinch at the sound, Eddie reassuringly squeezes my hand.
" can we come in?" A familiar voice asks.
"I hope you're in the mood for a visit, love"
"Who is it?"
"Come in" Steve says and from the door I see El, Mike, Will ans Jonathan walking in. My eyes light up as I see them.
"Oh my god" I say opening my arms for El, who carefully hugs me tight.
"I'm so happy you're okay" she says.
"I'm happy you're okay too" I pull away to look at her "when I woke up I didn't know what happened to you and... I was so worried"
"I'm okay. He's dead now. Trust me" she says, she probably knows about the nightmares, maybe from Steve, so she says it firmly.
"Hey you guys" I greet the three boys.
"We missed you" Will come sit next to me.
"So did I"
"You're gonna have a cool scar there, when it's healed" Mike comments, making me laugh, he always had a weird way of reassuring people.
"One that matches her side's" Will agrees.
"On your side?" Eddie asks "what... what happened?"
"I'll tell you later, love" I smile at him noticing his worried look, that he tries to hide behind a chuckle.
"Alright"
El and I just stare at each other, I can't believe she's actually here, I should've expected it though.
"Okay guys, let's leave them alone a bit, uh?" Steve says standing up and leading everyone to the door.
"If you need anything..." Eddie starts.
"Call us, alright?" Steve finishes.
"Aaw look at you finishing each other sentences" I tease them, they roll their eyes at me and leave.
"Okay... now, I need you to tell me... what happened?" I turn to look at El, holding her hands in mine.
"It's a long story" she says.
"I don't care, I want to hear it" I chuckle.
"Dr. Owens told me about a threat to our world and that if I didn't stop it you all would've been in danger"
I nod in understanding as she keeps talking.
"He told me he could've helped me get my powers back. We got into this... uh... facility and he was there"
"Who was there?"
"Papa"
"Brenner is still alive?" I ask, pretty shocked.
"Not anymore. He helped me remember something from when I was at the lab... with other children and that helped me get my powers back." She explains.
"Your time at the lab?"
She nods.
"Do... do you remember anyone looking like... like me?" I ask, even though I'm scared of the answer. She looks at me, studies me then nods.
"Alright" I take a deep breath, to calm my nerves. "He... he said.. he said you sent me here... is that true?"
"No, I remember seeing her running away from him, but I don't know where she went then" she tells me. "I don't know... If I did it... I'm so sorry if I did... I'm so very sorry, Y/n"
I see her starting to cry so I immediately pull her in a hug and just rub her back.
"Hey, hey, it's okay, I'm sure it's not your fault, okay?" I sweetly tell her "we're okay, now. That's important"
She nods and pulls away to look at me. When I look at her I see her with a vine around her neck squeezing tightly.
I shake my head and she's back to normal, I close my eyes to regain some control.
"You're having nightmares." It's more of a statement than a question, so I nod.
"They all seem so real" I say "he's alive and he cages me. Everytime and I can't escape"
Eleven opens her mouth to answer but gets interrupted by the door opening.
"Hey" Jonathan shyly enters the room "I'm sorry to interrupt, but we have to go. It's getting dark and she's still wanted.."
"You're wanted? What?" I exclaimed.
"Another long story... I'll tell you next time" she says hugging me.
"You better." I scold her "Please be careful"
"Don't worry" she smile reassuringly "and the nightmares will stop... I promise"
I smile back at her and she leaves the room, at least smiling.
"Take care of her, please?" I ask Jonathan.
"She's safe, don't worry." He assures me "you, on the other hand, get better, uh? And stop being a hero"
"Yes, sir" I chuckle. "See you"he waves his hand and leaves too.
I take a deep breath, before Eddie and Steve walk back into the room.
"Hey."
"Hi, sweetheart"
"Hello, my boys" I hold my hands out for them to take and sit next to me. "What time is it?"
"It's almost 9" Steve answers.
"So late?"
"Why? You got a date we don't know about?" Steve jokes.
"I just don't want my boys to not get enough rest" I say.
"You're the one to talk" Eddie scoffs. "Look at her, Harrington, risks her life, gets attacked, almost dies, and she worries about us... unbelievable"
"I agree, Munson, unbelievable" Steve nods.
I laugh at their antics and just lean a bit back on the cushion.
"Want us to leave you rest, love?" Eddie's teasing tone is replaced by his sweet one. I shake my head, I don't want them to leave.
Hell... I don't really want to fall asleep at all.
"You need to get some sleep, love" Steve says, as is he could read my mind.
I just sigh, defeated.
"Hey" Eddie makes me look at him "Hey, I know you are scared, but don't let him win this. He lost. We've beaten him... he can't do anything to you, or to us. Okay?"
"You don't know how real they feel" I whisper, my voice breaks "even when I'm awake... and... it's too fucking real..."
"Love..."
"It's like he's inside my head. Like he said... he will always find me" I finish, tears threatening to spill.
"He won't have you. Alright." Steve firmly says.
"How can you be sure?"
"We saw the fucking body, dead. Unmoving." Steve looks intensely in my eyes. "We burned it, we shot him. We made sure the asshole was dead before running back. We made sure. I'll have Robin and Nancy tell you the same thing. Hell... I myself will tell you over and over again. Those are just nightmares, that's not real. We're here" he pulls my hand to his face kissing it "we're here, love." He says the last part with tears in his eyes.
"I'm sorry... I..." I start, bur Eddie's shaking head cuts me off.
"No, you have nothing to be sorry for, Y/n. We're here for you. Always." He says kissing my other hand.
"I'm just... when I see you... I see you dying... him killing you, I just... I just can't... I saw El too... I want it to stop" tears run free now, I can't stop them.
"Sweetheart," Eddie wipe away some of the tears on my face to make to look at him "it's gonna take a while before these nightmares stop, I'm not gonna say some way-too-optimistic bullshit you're not gonna believe anyway." He lightly chuckle seeing me nodding in agreement "but one thing I can say: we're here. All of us, all your family is here for you. You're not alone. It's gonna be hard, but this will stop"
I look at him, then at Steve studying his expression. He looks at me worried, but smiles to let me know he agrees with every word Eddie just said.
"Okay..." I say quietly.
"Yeah? Do you actually believe me or you just want ot shut me up?" Eddie asks trying to joke.
"Which, honestly, would be understandable" Steve comments with a teasing grin.
"Thanks, Harrington" Eddie sarcastically replies.
I laugh and they look at me with so much admiration it makes me melt and blush too.
"I do believe you... thank you. Both of you"
"You don't have to thank us, sweetheart" Eddie winks.
"No, if you have to thank me and I have to thank you for this, alright. It means a lot to me" I firmly say, almost glaring at them.
"Alright" Steve smile sweetly at me.
"You're welcome, my love" Eddie too smiles at me.
"And also... you'd never be his queen" Steve says confidently "you'll always be our queen"
"Shut it, Harrington" I playfully shove him, he gently grabs my hand and kiss it, once again.
"He's right, though" Eddie smirks "You're our queen"
"You guys are terrible"
"You love us" they both say.
I roll my eyes playfully.
"Now, try and get some sleep." Steve says.
I take a deep breath, anxiety starts to fill my mind.
"Hey," Eddie says" it's all good, love. I have to get back to my room tonight, but Stevie here will be with you all night. You're not alone"
"Okay... yeah... okay... thanks..." I take a deep breath and lay down on the bed.
"Everything will get better soon" Steve whispers to me as he kisses my head.
I close my eyes, they are still holding my hand, I breath deeply to calm my nerves and slowly I fall asleep.

3.89 Lose control
Tumblr media Tumblr media
During our conversation about pre-wedding activities, Sophia and I found the idea of having a party appealing, but we had reservations about the traditional bachelor and bachelorette party. I'd never been to one, but I'd heard stories about them. Getting wasted and dancing with other women didn't appeal to me at all. My party didn't have to follow that formula; we could spend the night however I wanted. But the real reason we were anxious was because we both we both had a small circle of friends. We loved kicking it with our respective squads, but a party with just one or two sims wouldn't be lit.
"What if we did a joint co-ed party?" she offered.
That was the most brilliant idea, and it relieved us both. I mean, the whole point of a bachelor/bachelorette party was just to hang out with friends and have a good time, right? Who's to say we couldn't do that together? Our friends and their plus ones were enough sims for a fun, intimate party.
Tumblr media
We tried to take Mama's advice and not show up early this time and walked in with the first wave. Heh, if Sophia had agreed to my offer earlier, we could have been super late, but let's not dwell on that. While getting a drink, I saw Alessia. I was low-key pissed, to be honest. Not enough to make a scene or even snub her all night, but we were definitely not okay.
Dub snuck up on me, and I almost dropped my drink.
"This is a nice place," he said. "The food selection is...interesting."
Tumblr media
"Yeah. I guess I should have been more specific when I requested light refreshments."
"It's all good. Nothing like a little natural sugar to get you pumped up!"
"That's right. I expect to see everyone dancing, Dubstep."
"Dubstep??"
"Yeah! I think it's about time I gave you a nickname."
"But Dubstep though? I can't stand that music! It's everywhere at home!"
"Sorry, dude. I'm not often this clever. It's sticking!"
"Ugh! You better be glad your name can only be shortened, or I'd come up with something annoying for you too!"
"HA! Thank you, granddad I never met, for a boring name."
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Oh, hi Dub," Sophia said. "Thanks for coming!"
"Of course I'd come. I gotta make sure my boy Luc stays out of trouble!"
Sophia laughed.
"That's kind of you, but totally unnecessary."
I loved she said that. We had several conversations about my female friends, and she always expressed her acceptance of them. I believed her, but part of me wondered if she was actually cool with it or just trying to avoid conflict. Those conversations triggered her sometimes, and I knew she was still dealing with scars her ex-trash man inflicted. I never gave her a reason to doubt me, and I intended to keep it that way. Even so, her display of trust touched me deeply.
Tumblr media
Less and Justin were chilling in the corner, probably relieved that I was busy. Did they keep in touch? Probably not. Regardless, I was happy they maintained a small connection, even though I still believed he was much too old for her. Once Rashidah and her husband showed up, Sophia hit the dance floor and got the party going. I sat down and watched her, mesmerized by the thought that tomorrow she would be my wife.
Tumblr media
Chi Chi latched onto Maia as soon as she arrived and did not let her go. When Dub noticed, he not-so-casually got closer and watched their every move. I don't know why I thought it was funny, but I laughed anyway. Seeing him transition through this relationship, going from uncertainty about pursuing it to worrying about someone encroaching on them, was fun to watch. I knew Chi Chi was harmless, but he didn't, so I didn't laugh too hard. Still, what was Maia thinking? She was so gracious to endure all that talking for two nights straight. I knew all too well how draining it could be, trying to keep up with all the words that flew out of her mouth.
I eventually finished my drink and got out there to shake it with everyone. Poor Dub didn't even take one step and spent the whole night watching Maia and Chi Chi. I made a mental note to talk to him about it before we left, so it didn't become a big deal later on.
The fruity drinks were lame, so I invited everyone to the bar downstairs and bought us a round. The thumping bass from the DJ downstairs reverberated through the walls, injecting a surge of energy into our group. Moving the party downstairs was a genius move. The room was buzzing with excitement. Lively conversations and laughter filled the air. In the midst of all the excitement, I spotted Less trying to slip away, but I quickly caught her eye and called her out.
"Where were you last night?"
"What?"
"The engagement dinner? You didn't show."
She shrugged.
"I didn't want to go."
Tumblr media
I needed a moment before replying, because her response struck a nerve. Her indifference was no stranger to me; I'd been dealing with it my whole life. It annoyed me then, and triple annoyed me now. I usually coped with it by ignoring her, but this was something I could not shrug off.
"You couldn't at least call and tell me you weren't coming?"
"I guess. Why are you so upset? You had the dinner and now this party. They're pretty much the same thing, so why do I have to come to both?"
I was teetering on the edge of losing my cool, and it caught me off guard. Despite all the challenges I faced in my life, I could never truly feel angry. I could've been mad at Dad taking us away from Mama, but I was just a little kid and more scared than anything. I couldn't bring myself to be angry with Mama for breaking up our family because my love for her was too strong. Less always got on my nerves, and I could've been mad at her countless times, but I felt pressured to always be in control as the oldest, especially since she always copied me. I just wanted to experience losing control for once, but was that the moment to waste my chance? In the grand scheme of things, it wasn't that serious. Less was just being Less, and as much as it pained me to overlook it again, I just took a few deep breaths and re-centered myself before responding.
"You're my sim of honor, Less. Does that even mean anything to you? We were doing toasts, and you weren't there. Dub did a toast for me, and we just met. Maybe I should have asked him or Maira to be my sim of honor."
Tumblr media
"I'm sorry, Luca! I thought it was just a casual dinner or something. I didn't think you'd be mad."
I sighed and shook my head at her.
"You never do, Less."
Speaking of Dub, I saw him stewing on the sidelines, so I let Less go and went to de-escalate him.
"Am I crazy?" he asked as I sat down. "Is she really that bold that she would try to take my girl in front of my face?"
I was glad to have something comical to take my mind off my annoying sister.
"She's harmless, man. A bit of a flirt, yes, and she talks a lot, but she would never do that to you. She's sweet."
"Brooo! The talking! I thought maybe she liked me too because she had me hemmed up all night last night. I barely escaped in time to make a toast!"
Tumblr media
I laughed.
"Believe me...I am aware. I feel like she has a word quota she has to reach every day or she'll explode or something."
"Yeah, and she's spending it all on us!"
"Seriously... But for real...I really appreciate you doing that last night. My sister should have been the one making that toast, but she wasn't there, and that really hurt my feelings."
"Oh, I'm sorry. I got you, bro. Whatever you need."
"I appreciate that, Dubstep."
"HEY!"

Hear me out, this probably isn't really too crazy to say but Step 2 would be a perfect fit for the Jerk Squad
Tumblr media
And considering how Frederick and Nichole are, tbh I can see them sending Tam to the boarding school in XOXO Droplets because of the prestige and wanting their daughter to have the best academics the US education system can offer (assuming they ended up taking her back when the originally planned)
Qiu would thrive but Tamarack would barely be swimming but damn now I'm out here trying to develop ships and shit. Are y'all seeing my vision here???
I can see Everett crushing on Qiu for sure honestly. He would like the way they carry themselves, one hot jerk to another.
Ngl I can see Nate and Tamarack becoming a thing once he gets over the emotional intimacy fear thing. I say this because in my head, I see NateTam being a childhood ??? to lovers type beat. Their parents all went to the same university and are all good friends, so they grew up knowing each other. He's known Tam since their elementary school days back when she was just an energetic wild child who got on his nerves and saw her transform into the shy, insecure person she is in Step 2. So he begrudgingly looks out for her, in his own Nate way, at their school. Part because his parents told him to and ask him about Tamarack incessantly and part because he kinda, sorta, lowkey, can quietly admit he cares about her. Kind of. You won't catch him admitting that shit out loud for a WHILE though
(JB calls Tamarack 'Candi with an I' because her eyes remind JB of candied apples)
And hear me out... Jeremy and Tamarack. Tamarack's autumn gold gamboge hair with its beautiful sparkles is what makes Jeremy stop hating the color orange. Like it would be rocky of course, especially since whether regardless Tam wouldn't be a Jerk Squad member, but I can see it still coming to fruition. Like I'm not sure what exactly the dynamic would be... but I still see it. She gets a job working at his parents' shop, he listens to her practice the cello and doesn't have much to complain about which is basically as much glaze as someone can get from the guy, so yeah. Pretty high praise. His parents would be all over setting him and Tamarack up because she's so sweet, they think she would be perfect for him.
Sweet as Tamarack is though, she's opinionated and is one to move forward even if someone else won't go with her. She's got some sass and spunk so she won't be so sweet that Jeremy wouldn't be able to stand being around her for long periods of time.
But I also think Jeremy and Qiu would be really good together too honestly. Not just aesthetically, but I think they'd get a kick out of each in their own way. Plus, Qiu knowing Pran already helps
Feed my delusions in the ask box. What's your OL/XOXO crossover thoughts?

All mine /Levi Ackerman X female reader/
Warning: age gap, cream pie, unprotected sex, 18+, Minors denied, possessive Levi, drunk sex, fingering, cum eating
"Levi, I want you to meet someone." It started as every other day, nothing out of the ordinary, that was until Erwin called Levi to his office, and now there he was, looking at some woman he's never seen before in his life. "This is my niece Y/N, she'll be joining us here in the survey corps, and will be a part of your squad, before transferring here she was part of the special operations squad." She smiled softly at Levi while the captain just observed her every move, she was small, even shorter than him. She also looked young, he couldn't help himself but feel drawn to her. "Nice to meet you sir, I heard a lot about you." She smiled at him again as she looked up at him with that innocent look. It was driving Levi crazy, he only knew her for a few minutes and he couldn't help himself but stare at her. "Levi, show her around." Erwin's words snapped him out of the little trance as he nodded and motioned for the girl to follow him, she did so without any hesitation.
After several minutes of walking and Levi speaking the bare required minimum he finally looked at her and spoke. "How old are you?" He was really curious about her, he felt the need to know everything, the way she looked at him made his knees weak, he wasn't used to feeling all of these feelings but with her he couldn't stop himself. "I'm twenty two sir." Levi nodded his head, and continued walking. He was definitely surprised she was really young, not to mention part of the special squad, she must have been really talented. "Why did you decide to transfer to the survey corps?" He broke the silence as he kept walking not daring to look at her. "I wanted to be closer to uncle Erwin plus on our last mission all of my friends died.... Nothing was keeping me there anymore so I came here." Levi stopped walking and turned to face her once again, he gave her a soft genuine smile, she seemed a little surprised but quickly returned the smile.
Levi was staring at her again, basically undressing her with his eyes, what was she doing to him? He couldn't have been thinking about these things?! He only knew her for barely a few hours. But the way she looked at him... It just made him want to fuck her right there. He never felt the need to do these things with anyone, but she was something different, he had to have her.
A few weeks passed, Y/N was getting along with everyone they all loved her, and Levi was only getting more and more interested in her, she was undoubtedly the most talented soldier here, they were all after a successful expedition so they decided to celebrate with a few drinks. This was his chance, sooner or later Hange would suggest playing some dumb game and he would make sure that he and Y/N would somehow end up together. And just as he thought a few minutes later Hange had the wonderful idea of playing truth or dare. However to Levi's surprise Y/N just rolled her eyes and walked away clearly having one too many drinks. Levi followed her outside softly laughing as she saw her stumble a few times, she was adorable even like this.
"What are you doing here? I thought you would love to play a game like that." He smiled at her as she turned around to face him, for some reason blushing. "Sir, I was just thinking about you~" She walked closer to him whispering in his ear. "The only thing I would love to play with is you". She kissed his neck making Levi let out a groan, without any hesitation he pulled her to the nearest empty building, slamming the door behind them and kissing her roughly as he pushed her against the wall. Levi usually wasn't the type to do something like this, maybe it was because he had one too many drinks himself or it was the sexual frustration he was feeling for the last few weeks, but he didn't care, he had to have her.
"fuck I wanted to do this since I first saw you." He kissed her neck, making her moan loudly as he was leaving small love marks all over her neck. He wanted to make her feel good, he wanted to do so many things to her. He couldn't hold back any longer, with one quick move he pulled her pants down along with her panties making her gasp as the cold air hit her sensitive spot. Levi softly touched her clit teasing her, he wanted to hear more of those sweet moans. "You're so wet for me already and I barely touched you." He kissed her neck again as he pushed two fingers inside of her without any warning making her moan loudly, she loved how he was stretching her and hitting every right spot and Levi loved it too, he loved seeing her melt because of his touch he loved making her moan.
Soon Levi felt her squeezing his fingers he smirked as he whispered in her ear. "You're gonna cum on my fingers like a good little whore you are and then I'm gonna fuck you." It was all she needed to hear as she came hard on his fingers, he slowly took them out and licked away every last drop of her sweet cum, he loved the taste of her. Before she could react he bent her over a desk making her feel his erection on her ass. "You want this don't you? Beg for me to fuck you." He grabbed her by the throat kissing her neck again as she begged. "Y-yes please sir fuck me I want you to fill me up with your cum I want you inside of me so badly please." She was begging with tears in her eyes she wanted him so badly and Levi loved every second of it, he loved seeing her be such a mess.
He took off his pants pulling out his hard cock and slapping it on her clit a few times before pushing the tip in. "Say that you're mine." He said slapping her ass leaving a nice handprint on her cheek making her moan loudly. "I-I'm all yours sir! Only yours!" She moaned out getting more and more frustrated, with every second. Levi smirked as he pushed his dick inside of her and started thrusting roughly without any warning making her moan loudly then before. "Fuck that's right you're fucking mine, now let everyone hear you." He said going even faster hitting all the right spots making her legs shake, she already felt herself getting close, Levi felt her squeezing his cock knowing she's about to cum. "Cum on my dick like a good girl you are." She instantly came moaning loudly, before her legs gave up, luckily Levi caught her and wrapped her legs around him as he continued to fuck her sweet pussy, now going even deeper than before.
"fuck you feel incredible you're fucking mine all mine." He said as he kissed her roughly, his thrust were getting sloppy, he was close he wanted to cum inside of her so badly. "Gonna cum inside you claim you as mine, you want that don't you, you want to be filled with my cum." Y/N moaned even louder nodding profusely not being able to form words from the overwhelming pleasure, she was gonna cum again even harder than before. With a few more thrusts both of them came moaning loudly, her legs were shaking as Levi's cum dripped out of her, he loved the sight.
He softly kissed her cheek as he cleaned her up, not wanting to leave any mess behind, he smiled softly at her and she returned the smiles looking away a little embarrassed. "D-does this mean I'm yours now?" She looks at him blushing and smiling with hopeful eyes, as he kisses her lips softly and whispers.
All mine.

The Basketball Coach Part 2 – Steve Harrington
Tumblr media
Part 1
Steve's POV
It's been about a month since Y/N and I found out the truth. When Y/N told me that I was Johnny's father, I had a lot of things I needed to figure out. I instantly knew that I wanted to be a part of his life; of both of their lives. The things I had to figure out was how I would support the two of them on my small salary.
After finding out I was a father, I went back to work for my dad. It sucked but it was worth it if it meant I could spoil the woman I loved and take care of my son. Every decision I've made has been to benefit my son and Y/N. All I think about is what I can do to make their lives better.
Tonight, Johnny was at his friend's house while Y/N and I were having a date night. We got back to her house after dinner and started watching a movie. I looked down to see Y/N watching the movie as she played with my hands. My arms were wrapped around her and she was leaning back against my chest.
"The school is having a clothing drive Saturday morning," I started. "I had to sign up, but I figured it would be fun if you and Johnny came with me. We could get lunch after."
I smirked when Y/N quickly moved so she was straddling my hips.
"That sounds like a wonderful idea," she smiled. I gently put my hand on the back of her neck and brought her lips to mine. She let out a soft moan as our lips started moving in sync. We were just about to get into it when the front door opened. I held back a laugh as she quickly got off my lap.
"Johnny?" She called out as she fixed her shirt. "Is that you?"
"Yep!" Johnny said from the other room. When he walked in and saw his mom and me on the couch, he smirked.
"What's up, sweetie?" Y/N asked as she stayed on the couch but turned so she was looking at him. "I thought you and some of the boys were hanging out at Tyler's house tonight."
"We are," he said, sending me one last look before turning back to his mom. "That's why I'm here. The guys wanted to stay late playing that new game. Tyler's mom suggested we sleep over so we didn't have to drive home at 3 in the morning. Is that okay?"
"Of course," Y/N smiled. "But make sure you're back here tomorrow morning. All three of us are helping with the high school clothing drive."
"What time do you want me home?" He asked.
I smiled when Y/N looked at me. "The clothing drive starts at 10. If we want to help set up we should be there around 9."
"Okay," he said simply. "I'll make sure I'm home before 8:30."
"Thanks, baby," Y/N gushed. "Have fun with the boys."
"Will do." Johnny walked over and kissed his mom's forehead. He sent me a look before saying, "You two have fun with your sleepover."
Before either one of us could respond, Johnny ran upstairs. Y/N turned to me with bright red cheeks.
"I think it's safe to say that our son is okay with us being together," I chuckled. It was hard to ignore the feeling I had when I said our son.
"I would say so too," Y/N smiled. She leaned over and gave me a soft kiss. I deepened the kiss by grabbing her face. We didn't think about how long we'd been making out until we heard Johnny running back downstairs.
"Have fun!" Y/N called out.
"You two!" Johnny teased. "Be careful."
Y/N sighed as the door shut behind him. I grabbed her chin and gently made her look at me.
"It's okay," I whispered. "I know it's a little weird, but he's okay with this."
"I think it helps that you're his father," she whispered. "Not sure if he'd be this okay with me having a sleepover of my own if it was some random guy I'd been dating, but. . ."
"We're a family," I shrugged. "It's a big adjustment for all of us."
* * * * *
Reader's POV
As Johnny and I drove to the school to meet Steve, my mind went back to the conversation Steve and I had last night. I couldn't help it. I needed to hear it from him.
"Are you sure you're okay with Steve and me?"
"Mom," he sighed. "We've talked about this. A lot. I liked Coach Harrington before I found out he was my dad. Plus, I'd have to be a complete idiot not to see how happy he makes you."
"It's not weird for you?" I asked.
"Of course, it is," Johnny shrugged. "It's a little adjustment but I like having him around, Mom. I'm not just saying that. When he's around, it feels like we're. . . It feels like we're a family."
"I know how long you've wanted that," I whispered, my voice breaking. Johnny let out a small chuckle as he reached over and grabbed my hand.
"I promise, Mom," he whispered. "I don't have an issue with him being around a lot. I want my dad in our life."
We pulled into the school parking lot and my eyes instantly landed on Steve. As I parked, Steve jogged over to my side. He opened the door and helped me out. He gently kissed my lips but froze when he pulled away and saw the look on my face.
"Everything okay?" He asked, looking over my shoulder at Johnny.
"She asked me for the millionth time if I was okay with my mother dating my father," Johnny sighed.
"Hey," Steve warned in his teasing voice. "Don't sass your mother, young man."
"Sorry, Dad," Johnny chuckled as he jogged over to a group of his friends. Steve grabbed me and pulled me into his chest.
"I love when he calls you that," I whispered.
"Me too," he whispered before leaning in and pressing his lips to mine. I broke the kiss with a teasing push. I laughed at his pout.
"Put that pouty face away," I giggled. "We've got canned goods to sort, donated clothes to fold, and toys to organize."
A few hours later, I was writing up tax receipts for people who donated when someone grabbed my waist. I looked over my shoulder to see Steve smirking at me.
"What?" I chuckled.
"Come with me."
He took the clipboard out of my hand and placed it on the table. He then took my hand and led me out of the gym.
"Where are we going?" I giggled as Steve led me down the hallway.
He stopped in front of a science lab and sent me a wink before pulling me into the empty classroom. The minute the door was closed, he pressed his lips to mine. I wrapped my arms around his neck and deepened the kiss.
I giggled against his lips as he picked me up and gently placed me on the edge of one of the tables, standing between my legs. We broke the kiss and pressed our foreheads together.
"You think Johnny's okay out there?" I asked.
"He's fine," Steve chuckled as he leaned back and gently grabbed my chin. "He and some of the other boys on the team are helping put food baskets together."
I grabbed his shoulders and pulled him closer to me. He wrapped his arms around my waist, smiling at me.
"I don't think I've ever been this happy," he said, his voice dropping.
"Me either," I smiled. "I mean, Johnny makes me incredibly happy but it's nice not having to do it alone."
"You don't have to do it alone anymore," he chuckled. "You and Johnny never have to be alone again."
I ignored the tears in my eyes as he pressed his lips to mine. I let out a small moan as our lips started moving in sync. Things started slow but slowly picked up. Before we could get too carried away, I broke the kiss.
"Everything okay?" He asked.
"There's actually something I wanted to talk to you about," I started off shaky.
"Oh?" Steve asked, tucking a piece of hair behind my ear, his hand lingering on my cheek. "What is it, baby?"
"I've been thinking. . . What if you moved in with Johnny and me? Now, I know there are a lot of logistics we need to figure out and everything but. . ."
Steve cut me off by grabbing my face with both hands and kissing me. I reached up and grabbed his wrists but didn't pull his hands away as I kissed him back. He broke the kiss with a small moan.
"I would love to move in with you and our son," he whispered, his face inches from mine. "It would make us feel even more like a family."
Steve's POV
As Y/N helped some of the other team moms organize the clothes by size, I looked for Johnny. If I was going to go through with my plan, I needed his help.
"Hey, Johnny," I said when I found him playing with some of the toy donations.
"Hey, Dad." I ignored the feeling in my stomach when he called me that. "What's up?"
"I need to talk to you about something." I couldn't help but look over my shoulder at Y/N.
"Please tell me you're finally going to ask Mom to marry you."
"Wait, what?" I stuttered. "You really. . . You want. . ."
"Yes," Johnny laughed. "Hurry up and marry Mom. I love you guys but I'm kinda tired of Mom worrying about me and your relationship. You make Mom happy. That's all that matters to me. Plus, you're my dad. We should be a family. Officially."
I was at a loss for words. If I'm being honest, I was worried when Y/N told Johnny the truth. I was worried that he would hate that I was dating his mom or that I was his biological father. But ever since the beginning, he's been supportive.
"Want to help me with it?"
* * * * *
"She's coming!" Johnny yelled as he ran into the family room. I moved in with them three weeks ago and Johnny and I have been planning this since then.
"I'll go to Drake's house so you guys can celebrate. I'll come home tomorrow and we can have a family celebration."
"Thanks, bud," I chuckled.
Johnny ran over and wrapped his arms around me. "I love you, Dad," he whispered.
"I love you, too."
I let out a shaky breath as Johnny ran out the kitchen door.
"Hello?" I heard Y/N call from the front hallway. "Is anyone home?"
"I am," I called back. "I'm in the family room."
"Where is everyone?" She giggled as her voice got closer. "For a second I thought I saw Johnny hoping the side fence. I was starting to worry that. . ."
Y/N cut herself off when she walked into the family room and saw me standing in the middle of the room. She looked around at the photos of us and the candles spread out around the room.
"What is going on?" She asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
"I think it's time we officially become a family," I started my speech. I walked over, grabbed her hand, and pulled her into the middle of the room. "I love you, Y/N. I've loved you since that night all those years ago when we got drunk and hooked up. I had no idea who you were, but I constantly thought about that amazing girl. Every day we've been together has been extremely wonderful. Before we reconnected, I felt like I had a giant hole in my life. But now? I have a woman I am madly in love with and a son. There is only one thing that could make my life better."
I grabbed the black velvet box out of my pocket and knelt down on one knee. I smiled when she gasped and covered her mouth with both hands.
"The only thing I'm missing is having my family be official. I need for my son to have both parents. I need the woman I love to officially be mine and marry me," I continued. "I love you so much, Y/N. I promise to do everything I can to take care of you and our son. Will you marry me?"
"Yes," Y/N said between tears. I slipped the ring on her finger and stood up. I laughed as she threw her arms around me and pressed her lips to mine.
"I love you, baby," Y/N whispered as she broke the kiss.
"I love you," I chuckled. "I can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together."
"Me too," Y/N said, her face turning pink. "But, baby, I have a small question."
"What is it, darling?"
"Where's Johnny?"
I couldn't help but laugh. "He's hanging with Drake tonight," I explained. "He wanted to make sure we had privacy to celebrate."
"That was sweet of him."
I leaned down and kissed her. Our kiss got heated as we fell back onto the couch. I hovered over her and heard her giggle as we didn't bother stopping from getting into the kiss.
"Steve," she gasped, breaking the kiss.
"Yes, baby?"
"Let's go celebrate upstairs."
