you quickly found out that magic obeys some weird type of logic despite being magic, so you only ever fluctuate in age within the range you’ve already been,

ur kinda glad youre not seeing what you look like at 100 years old and getting stuck that way for weeks- only Sophie from Howl’s Moving Castle can be cursed to be old yet has so much rizz that she’s still badass and pulls a wizard boyfriend LMAO

so just bc idk what to make the max,

let’s put you at originally, also bc im not a minor, 20 yrs old

so what I mean by all the above is: you’ve lived 2 decades, 1-20 are the only ages you can be

-that being said,

you’re a menace.

so yeah you could’ve been a quiet kid, a well-behaved kid, a good kid even,

…but not in a magical world full of awesome flora and fauna, and magical creatures,

and gods, and vision users and-

you get the point.

plus, you hadn’t really learned English yet until u were a bit older so (who can blame you i hate this language ur so valid)

and for whatever reason English is the only one these guys speak, besides maybe some mythical creatures like the aranara or something

so its kinda absolute chaos trying to reign u in at times.

so needless to say the entirety of Inazuma is terrified for you.

like, even if you aren’t the “Creator” per say in this, they still know what the warmth of your power feels like

But more importantly-

You know who’s the first to spot a random wandering-non-Inazuman-child? And take you in? Especially one that radiates that same energy of presence they feel sometimes + makes them more powerful???

The Amazing, the All-Powerful, Awe-Inspiring Oni: Arataki Itto!

Not even his gang, or Kuki are the first to see you, nah it’s Itto himself,

he literally finds 12 yr old you just sneaking around in awe in Chinju Forest,

and needless to say ur pretty fascinated with the colors and the vibes, and it’s not like Genshin Impact existed when u were this young, ur poor younger self is just rlly paranoidly looking around

Itto is kinda a lot at first, and he was a little confused by ur constant rubbing your arms, or tapping ur fingers on stuff, (or all the stims u be doing when ur nervous) but he just took it all in stride

so Itto, after like an hour and a few well placed rocks at his face and groin by 12 yr old u who was ready to fight to the death at first, FINALLY convinced you by drawing a little picture of his house and his friends

and all that clear effort, despite the foreign world, foreign non-human guy, etc., made you warm up to him too, afterall, even 12 yr old you knew a himbo when they saw one 💪

at first he just thought you were another person who was getting powered up by that yokai he felt (he was convinced thats what you were when u weren’t physically here before, like some kind of powerful gift giving/deal making yokai)

but after he saw you shapeshift the next morning into 16 yr old you, (he lives with his grandma so ur younger self felt pretty safe staying with a himbo guy and an little grandma lady)

he was now more convinced than ever-

that you were some kind of god that’s been in hiding since the archon war (his granny has a lot of cool stories so what?! hes a very educated oni thank you very much!),

rather than a vision user, and he also thinks u being random ages is deffo a curse, and its to keep ur powerfulness limited!! - Arataki Itto, 202X

(bc younger u doesnt remember that u can upgrade ppl, or at least it takes em a learning curve bc they gotta relearn everytime)

okay but itd be so funny tho if nobody else believes that (esp the non-magical folk), bc to them, ur just like, a bunch of siblings (child, teen, adult you lmao) or a tanuki lol

he eventually gets Kuki to believe, after she also sees how you change/the aura is honestly more powerful too once she’s paying attention, like instead of like a blanket, ur like standing in front of a raging campfire

but she makes him keep it a secret

ur really vulnerable a lot of the time, so they’re both worried abt keeping u happy and safe, aw cuties <3

the gang become ur besties no matter the age, like they love mild pranks, and general chaos, u wanna explore no matter the age, and also love chaos, esp since it can be magical now (oh child you is having the time of their life when they’re around)

plus the more hands on deck, the easier it is to keep ur ass from running off as a kid (and an adult, bc omg a shiny?? a shiny crystal fly???!! lmao neurodivergent 🤝crow/raven = shiny solidarity)

honestly Itto has a blast with all versions of you, and he’s literally the best bc he’s a himbo:

so he’s fine with answering context or “obvious” questions all the time LMAO

and if he makes any conclusions abt ppl’s behavior u dont, he’ll explain pretty quick and simple and he never sees it as awkward or smth

its honestly kinda funny bc ur like 10, and just 🤨🤨🤨??? sometimes at ppl (u got better at reading ppl as u got older obv, and at english too, that doesnt help lol)

he’s super sweet abt it, just really quick which is great too,

like, u never misunderstand ANYBODY with this Oni around!! <3

(this is mainly bc Itto’s gotta know when to bail, joke, stand his ground, etc. from experience, and messing w/Kujou Sara so he’s actually really good at reading people, only when he’s paying attention tho)

so younger u just feels safe around Itto, and so while u do get taught english (mostly by his grandma/Kuki) u also dont rlly mask,

nor do u know how to mask as well as you do in the future

so ur just running around with the gang, living ur little neurodivergent life, and anytime someone points out smth u do that might be awkward, like repeating something over and over as a stim (esp with learning english phrases/new words at times) the gang and Itto, and Kuki, are all ready to protect 💪

but most of the time what happens is- whether unintentionally or not, Itto manages to make THEM feel awkward or like they’re the ones doing something socially weird all the time 😭

just, a parent is like “this kid can’t speak English, do they even know any other language? Because all I keep hearing is them repeating that sound over and over…”

Itto: “Damn you're right they do that a lot, just like how you peek out your window a lot, but we all got our quirks man, no need to be shy about it, the kid isn’t, so just open those curtains, and that window and look out at the world!”

which announces to the whole neighborhood, bc Itto is only ever not loud when you tap his arm as a signal, that the parent is the nosiest bitch ever, he just puts them on blast for everyone to hear lmao

Itto is actually very respectful about you, and while it would, almost be easy bc of the age switching, for him to infantilize you, he’s really good at treating you like an equal no matter how old you are :0 :D

like a giant teddy bear older brother at times, and the guys and Kuki are all pretty good at it too

(tho dw, Kuki is doing all the emotional distress heavy lifting for all of them over your safety, esp bc when u switch at first u are VERY out of your element/disoriented bc u dont always recognize Teyvat/know less English)

…and she’s shocked at first, but realizing how giggly and happy u two are, and then Itto explains its bc of her???

Kujou Sara lets Arataki Itto go, for the first time, ever.

she doesnt explain, but she literally was so melted by cuteness, and a warm familiarity??, by u two she couldnt be mad anymore lmao

Itto is now legally obligated to bring you to any and all matters involving the government, regardless of age, according to Kuki Shinobu, his grandma, and himself

all for different reasons tho, Itto’s like, “My lucky charm! My bestie goes everywhere with me!”

General rules:

Nsfw is aloud but nothing crazy. (By that I’m not calling any of anyone’s kinks “crazy” what I mean like super, super intense bdsm, knife play, gun play, blood kinks, incest, stepcest, (let’s just say anything ending in ‘cest’ is a no.) and everything MUST be consensual.)

I’m a bit hesitant about writing human x na’vi nsfw and I probably won’t write human reader x na’vi fluff. It’s just I have a hard time visually imagining a human and a na’vi having sex without an avatar body. I am not against the idea in any way, but the general concept does throw me off a bit (I always imagine some type of detrimental injury occurring bc we are so smol compared to na’vi)

In all, I’m not the biggest fan of writing for a human reader, and will probably turn down requests for a human x Na’vi fic.

Hm... sure! He's a character I'm... unsure about but I will try my hand at writing him. Sorry if it's short, I wasn't sure what to do with him due to the dubious pairing.

Yandere! Ramón Salazar Concept

Pairing: Platonic/Romantic

Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Manipulation, Mentioned kidnapping, Jealousy, Violence, Forced companionship, Infection, Mind control.

Despite his stature, something he hates being mentioned, he still has the ability to be downright terrifying as a yandere.

The fact a man so much shorter than you can keep you in line is impressive.

You'd think you could leave him easily... yet that is not the case.

First of all, his castle is spacious.

The castle is rather isolated and it's easy to be lost in.

Not only that but Cultists roam about.

Then there's of course Ramón's guards, the Verdugo.

Being anywhere near him would surround you with monsters.

Now in terms of his behavior?

No Wiki gives me a specific personality for him so I'm going strictly based off interactions with Leon.

I imagine he would both be self-centered yet tries to be charming towards you.

He often calls you by Spanish names or outright says whole sentences to himself in Spanish.

This would benefit him if you don't speak Spanish (like me-).

Most Darlings would tower over him so the idea of dealing with a short yandere is interesting to me.

Yet he makes up for his size with the Verdugo always around him.

Maybe while you roam the castle Ramón gives you one of his Verdugo to watch you.

He definitely keeps you heavily monitored.

In terms of affection I imagine it would mostly consist of laying you down and him laying on top of you?

I also can see Ramón being an unstable yandere.

He wants you to be behaved and listen to him.

If you don't take him seriously he would most likely trap you in a cell.

Ramón could possibly be possessive or easily jealous.

The mere idea of someone else being around you sends him into a fit.

Ramón may also see your little "relationship/partnership" as something poetic or tries to make it seem like a play.

Due to his fascination with plays from what I've seen.

He really does try to make you come to him on your own.

But you're so put off by him it most likely won't happen.

Much to his frustration.

Honestly if you tried to fight him or run he'd just send Verdugo or Cultists to track you down.

Due to his loyalty towards Saddler I imagine he feels his darling will feel "more at home" if he infected you with Las Plagas.

So expect to be forcefully given the parasite.

He'd do it as a gift or a punishment, depends on his mood when he comes up with the idea.

Plus, if I'm correct, if you're infected with the parasite then you can be more docile and controlled.

Like it or not, the moment he feels he has to give you the parasite... you're his.

Ramón has the dominant species, giving you the lesser species forces you to listen.

He's one for obedience... so it gives him confidence/pride at the fact you now listen to his beck and call.

Be you just a companion he's close to, or a lover he happens to yearn for, he has you on a metaphorical leash.

That way he can act out whatever little theatrical he wishes with you.

You'll stay human for a little while when he has you...

But in the end you'll be infected just as the Cult wants you to be.

Then you'll truly be his... with no possibility of escape

❥ like, they’re from the 1500s originally and they were turned to stone for most of the years, so they didn’t get to see how things progressed

❥ like they’re accepting and they do try to understand, but it’s just new to them?

❥ neopronouns confuse them, partially because english isn’t their first language and partially bc they’re old

❥ but they’re supportive! as long as people are happy, they’re fine with it. they just may occasionally mess it up

❥ oh yeah, speaking of which, their first language was spanish

❥ and it’s old spanish

❥ they use he/they/she pronouns. the ones typically used are he/they, simply because they look androgynous-to-masculine leaning and because they haven’t come out (nor have they had “the realization” really)

❥ they used to play as “girl roles” when playing which led to the other kids subtly making fun of him

❥ subtly, but it still made him feel self-conscious

❥ they are literally the most supportive person out there, unsurprisingly

❥ very stressed and depressed though

Also, to answer your question...yes, I have headcanons to both POC (and non-POC) and queer headcanons!!

(Also, funny enough, but I have seen @/redisloser show THEIR version of hcs for the aliens--so I might as well show mine)

-XLR8 is of Asian descendant (specifically Korean, Thai, and Vietnamese), and he is gay, non-monogamous, and reciprosexual.

-Bullfrag is of Italian-American heritage (so white) and is from Boston and Philadelphia, and is bisexual; Attea is also from Italian heritage and is from Boston but is mostly New Jerseyian, she is a nonbinary lesbian.

-NRG and Diamondhead are also white, both of them are Russian (NRG canonically is, lol), but Diamondhead is also a mix of Czech, German, and has Alaskan blood in him and is from Arkansas--while NRG is a second-generation Russian immigrant; Diamondhead is gay, demiace, and demiboy while for NRG....eh, I'm still questioning, but is definitely queer in some way.

-All of Ben's Anur Transyl aliens canonically have European heritage in them--as it was proven in OV on Anur Transyl how the theme of the planet is mostly based on Europe. Not to mention Snare-Oh + any other Thep Khufans are also Egyptian. Though, I headcanon that Anur Transyl continents are different based on the European country they were inspired from. Plus I love how diverse and multicultural the planet is. Whampire--from his accent--is (canonically from the wiki) Romanian and gay/queer; Snare-Oh and Frankenstrike are both gay/queer with Snare-Oh being acespec and cupiosexual. Ghostfreak and Blitzwolfer are both queer-coded as well but just not decided on gender/sexuality (yet).

-Four Arms is of Spanish heritage (mostly from Mexico, Venezuela, and Argentina) and is a bisexual demiboy; Looma Red Wind is the same but is more indigenous-mexico + has Mayan background in her blood, she is a pre-op top surgery transmasc lesbian.

-Ripjaws is Afro-Polynesian, part Hawaiian and Filipino, and is mostly Samoan; he is polyam, greyromantic/alloaro, a trans-enby (ftm), and gay.

-Swampfire is mixed POC--he is Melanesian, Indian, Afro-Hawaiian + Afro-Japanese, and is also part white (Irish + Dutch and Baltic); he is gay and demisexual.

-Heatblast, Grey Matter, and Cannonbolt are white: Heatblast is Coloradorian + Northeastern white, Grey Matter is from Baltimore + Northern states and is also a bit British, and Cannonbolt is mostly from the Western side of America; Heatblast is achillean/MLM and queer, both Cannonbolt and Grey Matter are aroace and Bolt is also pan.

-Stinkfly is agender and aroace as well; he is Northeastern white like Heatblast.

-Wildmutt is just, well, an alien dog so he doesn't have any concept of gender/sexuality--BUT, if he were an ACTUAL dog, then he would be a mixed breed of a Sheepdog (mostly), along with a bit of Airdale/Whippet Bull Terrier mix, Great Dane and some Cane Corso too (<- inspired off of my partner's HUGE ass black-colored dog, Buddha, who is also a Cane Corso lmao).

-Feedback is mostly African-American with bits of Japanese and Filipino (Blasian); and he is gay.

-Big Chill is Afro-Jewish, Afro-Asian, and Afro-Hawaiian, Icelandic, and Norse; they are canonically nonbinary, trans/ftm, on the aroace spectrum, and gay.

-Both Rath and Humungousaur are mostly white but with some POC--Rath is of Ukrainian, Irish, and Polish background with some Indian and Brazilian heritage and is from New Jersey + Philadelphia, and Humungousaur is from the Caribbean Islands with some Bulgaria, Slovakia, and Canada and is from Texas + Florida; both are gay.

-Wildvine is also African-American like Feedback, but he is also Afro-Latine, some Nigerian and a bit of Creole--he has a half older brother (my OC, Wallfire) who is Blasian because his late Pyronite mother is Asian (they both have the same dad); Wildvine is a transmasc ftm enby who is also gay--his brother is also gay but cis.

-Viktor is canonically German, and his human appearance in the Original Series is white, plus of his accent. Crüjo is Black like his voice actor in Omniverse--Bumper Robinson--and he is from Boston like Bullfrag. Kuphulu would be Black-adjacent, Egyptian, Afro-Asian, and also Jewish in heritage/background; all three of them are in a polycule with each other: Viktor is cis and gay, Crüjo is a libramasculine and gay, and Kuphulu is polyam, a trans-enby, gay and also on the aroace spectrum.

-Pax is multiracial: he is Black + European from his father and Spanish + Native-American from his mother; he is aroace, cupiosexual, and gay.

-And lastly, from my favorite out of the bunch: Psyphon. He is both French and Swedish (so mainly white as well) and he is multilingual in both languages; he is nonbinary, gay and also on the aroace spectrum.

💎I will give context of this version of yours. You and phos met by chance, when you were barely a baby, he found you in a seashell shell. It was the first time he saw someone of your kind, similar and different from each other.

💎Phos didn't know what to make of you at first, but something about you managed to catch his attention [something other than your looks and the species you belonged to].

💎At this facet of his life, his attitude is more childish and cheerful colors, he doesn't even know anything about of the reality. Nor does he begin to doubt about whether he lives in a lie nor does he seek or wish to discover the truth of this forgotten world.

💎Phos young is spontaneous, full of confidence and childlike enthusiasm. This is also a problem, he doesn't know how to take care of a human which leads his clumsiness to extreme dangers (lunarians)

💎The young gem is curious, enthusiastic. He has this desire to fight, their intentions are more than pure and innocent. When you came to him by sheer fate, he saw an opportunity and a purpose to serve. Being young and inexperienced, he will make many mistakes, although his crazy side or psychotic tendencies are not yet shown.

💎He tends to be playful, when sensei entrusted him with the task of taking care of you, phos just took it easy. As I have said and will repeat throughout this facet, he doesn't know much about the world around him, he has no awareness of danger as he has never witnessed the risks himself.

💎One of the many things phos would do when he tends to take care of you, is to be very talkative and energetic. This same childish energy is what makes you smile, he will start to notice this and love any attention from you. Phos also loves to play with you, showing you the vast grasslands of this forgotten world.

💎Over time and sere lazy [since you are only a baby of maximum 8 months, plus the author of the manga is lazy with the time that has passed], her own carelessness puts you both at risk. Another thing I forgot to mention is his stubbornness, his stubbornness and also the many times he loves to show off.

💎The events that are coming is what makes phos realize of his reality, which cannot always be unconcerned, now it is not only him, now you depend entirely on his care. When he meets cinnabar after a few days hanging out with you, it is his first encounter with danger and the impending insecurity that begins to grow inside him.

💎 On that day, Phos knows fear. When the Lunarians almost take him away with him, once again because of his carelessness. And in that event, they also almost took you, the last human in this world.

💎He was lucky that cinnabar reacted, although he did get a strong scolding from him. The harsh words of his red-haired companion sounded in his mind "Stop meddling in other people's business, you only put yourself at risk and you should also pay more attention to what belongs to you".

💎Phos wanted to refute, that if he could find a suitable job, cinnabar too and none of them would be alone, although he had you. Though in all honesty, he didn't know his either. It's not until these moments that he remembers you, and little by little an unknown feeling grows in him.

💎Although his intentions are good, Cinnabar did not accept his help, he was more than fine like that and he was afraid of hurting that human that phos had in his arms, he just wanted to go to the moon, be useful to someone. This brings a negative weight for the young aqua green gem.

💎Let's fast forward a few days, as I don't want to go into too many spoilers. Phos is swallowed by the admirabilis in his snail form. As he is descending into the ruler's stomach, many questions run through his mind ….. WHY?, why can't he stop being so useless and naively dumb? He remembered his inefficient job taking care of you, so when he was swallowed he put you first, protecting you as best he could.

💎I will omit his encounter with the ruler and his escape to the sea, the only remarkable thing about this situation would be his curiosity to know more about you. Humans, their past as well as where you come from and being that his sensei wouldn't tell him much about your species or your origin.

💎Availing himself of this, the ruler lures phos into the sea. When he himself is brought before the lunarians, he again realizes how neglected and weak he feels. And it is so, that in these moments he is grateful that sensei has taken you from his side, because he saw him very insecure to take care of you. Deep inside his mind grows those bitter thoughts, his self-esteem doubting.

💎When admirabilis asks her if she knows the feeling of wanting to protect and take something back, as well as asking why he doesn't hate her, he doesn't feel up to judging her. He admires the fact that she would sacrifice everything for someone she loves.

💎Phos doesn't recognize that feeling, and the only thing he could claim to such a thing would be how he feels about you. But since this is an early stage in your relationship, their love is merely platonic.

💎As he loses his legs, a part of him also leaves, his optimism begins to fade, though he remains the same. As he loses his memories too, strangely he hasn't forgotten you or the promise he made to cinnabar.

💎Phos turns fast, he is thrilled with this change and naively believes that now if he could fight and become stronger. With these legs, he finds a new motivation. In fact, when sensei revokes his punishment and you hang out together again, he loves running with you and seeing that cute baby smile. Love your happiness, I would give everything for that expression and the feelings that come with it.

💎His 2nd encounter with the lunarians wakes him up. He is determined to become strong, to not be useless. He wants to prove to everyone that he can do it, he wants to be able to protect you, not to depend on others to survive.

💎Now, if we talk about the phos who already lost his arms and Antarc, his tendencies start to come out.

💎He will be more overprotective, he will doubt everyone and himself. He is afraid of losing you, he has already put many in danger. He knows he's gotten stronger, but it's not enough, he still has holes in his fighting style.

💎At this point you are already a big girl, max 7 years old. [Let's be honest, we don't know how the fuck time works in manga or anime]. This is where little by little a new feeling arises, because with your growth, phos notices the brilliance you give off.

💎Your human condition worries him, anything could hurt you. For the convenience of the script, your body is immortal.

💎This phos has already suffered, he is traumatized by the carelessness of losing antarc. It needs affection, already in this mode, phos becomes an overprotective, insecure and needy yandere.

💎His mental health depends on you, please don't do things that scare him, like running away or not informing him where you are. Lunarians may appear and take you away.

💎One of the many activities he loves to do with you in winter [it's ironic, as it reminds him of that he lost his partner, someone besides you who cared for him] They usually make a lot of snowmen, your charismatic and affectionate attitude stains the face of phosphophyllite in a pale pink color. Since neither you nor he sleeps like other gems, plus this phos has already changed his physiological system and you're just a human who sleeps daily periods of 8 hours.

💎In order not to bore you, they play many games that they keep inventing, this is tender, he admires your childishness, he sees himself in you.

💎Phos swore to protect you, he will never lose another loved one [antarc]. When bort offers him help to improve his fighting style, you instantly want to give him a chance too and will fight his side, which is a resounding no from the paranoid gem.

💎In general, he just wants to be loved and appreciated, to feel useful. Therefore, do not throw it away or abandon it like others, want it as it is, with its defects and virtues. [Although in the end, this ends in a clinging and psychotic phosphophyllite, sick with love and desire for revenge]

Uhm, atleast in spanish (my mother tounge) the moon has a femenine gramatical gender. Its La Luna, not El Luna /nm

Also, is Artemis, a moon goddess (with a masculine sun counterpart in apollo) not something you are familiar with? Just to show that the concept that moon and femininity being associated is not something i made up, and has in fact been around since atleast ancient greece. (probably since before then, but im not familiar with every single culture out there)

Personality

Jas is an introvert. She spends lots of time with just a handful of people at once, disliking crowds due to her anxiety. Oddly enough, she loves modern rock music. Her favorite activities include reading, swimming, tai chi, rock climbing, watching action movies, collecting art prints & running her historical misconceptions/queer representations blog, The World Was Conquered by a Bisexual. Q: how old are you and where are you from?

well, i'm an 03 liner from puerto rico. this means my first language is spanish, so i apologize in advance for any and all grammar mistakes. i'm only human after all.

Q: who do you currently write for and whom have you written for?

i currently write for enhypen & tomorrow x together only.

i used to write for bts, seventeen, exo and a couple one shots for random groups here and there. they are all accessible through my archive. i have retired these groups from my blog and will not be writing for them anymore.

i still stan and enjoy these groups, however as inspiration comes and goes i would prefer to write about my current hyper fixations.

Q: what pronouns should we use for you?

gender is very weird and sometimes hard to understand but i use she/her primarily.

Q: who are your biases and the groups you stan?

i'm sunghoon's gf ... you can ask him he'll confirm. and i'm yeonjun's baby mama but tbh— i'm ot. 7 and ot. 5.

i stan lots of groups like p1h, ateez, skz, theboyz, new jeans, twice, seventeen, (g)idle, kep1er, le sserafim, and of course exo and bts. probably more that i can't think about right now.

i do not, i just write as inspo hits and as requests some in.

i don't have any hard triggers. i actually really like stories with harsher more dark topics. like i said earlier i love angst and slice of life fics and life isnt always sunshine and rainbows... and well that's perfectly okay!

sometimes i have requests about things i am not too extremely familiar with... if i do not know much about something i try to research before writing it. if even after research i don't understand it well i will not be writing it.

i will not write smut. this is not a smut account and i will not be making a side blog for smut. i just personally don't think i could write it. plus thats just not what i want this blog to be. there are lots of very good smut writers out there please check them out if thats what you're looking for.

i will also not be writing anything glorifying things like self harm, suicide, eating disorders, and other extremely serious mental health issues or health issues im general.

i will also not write anything i deem to be insensitive, offensive, or creepy.

Q: is there anything you wish to write more about?

i wish to write a lot more for enhypen in this upcoming year. and hopefully dive into some supernatural topics with them especially because of their vampire concept.

i want to write much longer fics, and further improve my fic/drabble/oneshot writing skills so lets see how it plays out!

what concepts would you recommend someone focus on if they’re in the process of learning Spanish and are going abroad in about a year?

It really depends on your level. I'm going to assume you're a beginner but you're really going to want to focus on conversational Spanish not just specific words.

Things like "how much" or "how many" or "where is it?" or "whose is it?"

So some things that might be helpful:

directions

colors

greetings/farewells

formality

agreement in nouns/gender and singular/plural

negatives and the use of no and nadie

the infinitives, -ar verbs, -er verbs, -ir verbs

personality traits, physical descriptions, moods and emotions

some basic idea of sentence structure

pronouns and when to include them or omit them

basic nouns for people, places, and assorted things [this really depends like is it a good thing to know different kinds of birds? yes but like it's better you know the words for hospital and hotel and school... unless you're becoming an ornithologist in which case idk bird stuff would make sense]

telling time and the calendar/seasons

polite requests

question words; who, what, where, when, why, how, how much, how many

weather expressions

present tense

some basic commands or just an understanding of commands and negative commands

really basic verbs

the -go verbs in particular [tener, decir, venir, hacer, poner, salir etc etc]

ser and estar; you don't need to know how to conjugate everything but you should know what the basic concepts are

definite and indefinite articles

saber and conocer especially present tense

clothes, at least some

possibly pero and sino

possibly preterite and imperfect; depends on your level, I would say the three most important tenses are present, preterite, and imperfect... just in general, but especially if you're in A-B levels

transportation vocab

asking for help vocab

some basic idea of what stem-changing verbs are, not that you need to know all of them, but just an idea

though I would say probably be aware of morir and dormir

poder also is very important

a basic understanding of gustar and words like gustar which will help you later with indirect objects

asking for someone's name, last name, numbers etc. and being able to introduce yourself and give information

numbers 1-100 [tbh it's basically 1-30, then understanding how numbers after 30 work and knowing 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, and 100]

ordinal numbers, but primarily 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th. Everything past that is a little confusing for basic students

cardinal directions; norte, sur, este, oeste but that's just 4 words

not all of por and para but just knowing that they exist and are weird and sometimes different

prepositions a, de, en, con, sin and a handful of others; also being aware of conmigo and contigo

demonstratives

possessives

comparison

mejor and peor

the use of bueno/a vs bien

ir + a + infinitive for short-term future

the use of jugar + a

the use of haber at least in terms of hay for "there is/are"

ordering food and basic food nouns

a handful of idiomatic expressions, but don't worry too much about it if you don't know many

being aware of y, ni, and o... there's some weirdness with y and o as far as spelling rules but don't worry too much if you're a beginner they will explain it to you if you're taking language courses

Like I'm not going to sit here and say you don't need to know subjunctive, but it's usually not your immediate concern unless you're doing polite requests

Plus subjunctive is more advanced so I'm mentioning the basic basic basics

This is also probably all the verbs you need to know if you're a beginner ...a lot to take in all at once, but they're probably some of the most common verbs in all of Spanish

I'd recommend also looking into some grammar lessons like at www.studyspanish.com/grammar which runs you through some of the basics

TERF is the acronym for “Trans exclusionary radical feminist”, in Spanish “Feminista Radical Transexcluyente”, promoting the idea that radical feminism is transphobic. It's being used as an insult, clearly misogynistic, and this concept is perpetuated mostly by people who are part of the queer movement and transactivism, but this is a totally wrong conception.

Within radical feminism we analyze gender as a social construction and as a mechanism to oppress women. We do not see it as an identity but as a tool of oppression based on our sex. This is why we are gender abolitionists, as this is the only solution to free ourselves from gender oppression and all that this entails. Queer theory aims to eliminate the category of sex and if this happens, then our oppression is invisible and denied, just as feminism would disappear.

This implies how important it is to consider biological sex, and to understand then that it is that we do not want trans-women in our movement: because they do not suffer oppression because they are women, because oppression is based on our material reality. A male person will grow up with male socialization and unborn privileges of the oppressive sex. No matter how much you transition, sex is a material and immutable reality.

To carry out this analysis, it is necessary to be clear about the definitions of sex and gender, and the difference between oppression and discrimination, since it is these confusions that cause misinformation.

It is also necessary to take into account that radical feminism already has an agenda and a defined political subject, which is the woman (adult human female, person of the female sex). We support separatist spaces to protect and prioritize ourselves. Claiming ourselves, talking about ourselves, about our bodies and experiences, defending what is ours and the few spaces that we have managed to conquer. It is not transphobia or hatred, it is to focus on women and fight for our liberation.

To sum it up, it is simple to understand the fact why we are trans-feminine separatists in the movement understanding that we are based on sex. It is contradictory to call us "transexclusive" when transmasculines are also part of the movement because they are biologically women and therefore belong to the political subject (it should be noted that this does not represent an obligation for transmasculines, that is, they are not obliged to be part of the movement if they don't want to), plus you can't exclude someone who was never part of it. The most important thing to understand all this is to have clear ideas and know how to separate things.

The fact that they want to silence women is nothing new, they have always treated us like the bad guys in history. TERF is an insult, and it is misogynistic because it seeks to silence us, invalidate us, violate us, misinform us, reduce feminism only to the criticism of gender and queer theory, since other issues are also being fought for. They look for a thousand ways and excuses in order to discredit us, they want to emotionally blackmail us by making us feel guilty for prioritizing us, they want to impose fear on us by insulting and verbally hurting us until they threaten, they twist words and invent things to make us look like the violent ones, and promote hate speech towards us.

Feminism is a movement by and for women, it must be a separatist space and where struggles are not mixed because that way the objective is lost. We must be very clear about what we are looking for and what we are fighting for, we cannot allow just anyone to come and tell us how we have to act in feminism and what we have to do... patriarchy conditions us our entire lives, let's not allow that too to break into our spaces.

Curious what you think of Chichos, name aside? Also Coatlmon?

And on a tangent, I once came up with a story idea where Ken visits Chichos and winds up staying during the Day of the Dead. And of course since Osamu is my Minor Character Obsession, he plays some role in the story. There’s also maybe a side plot of Osamu getting flirted with by one of Chichos’ relatives who died at a young age as a parallel to Chichos’ crush on Ken. Given that I am not Mexican, it is not a story I would feel comfortable fleshing out and actually writing, but I felt like sharing the concept.

SSSsssssooooo we're actually not gonna go name aside for this one as her name got used a lot in this ask and I'm feeling not that okay with it

Chichos, in Spanish, means love handles. That's not an okay name to give a child, and like I KNOW rude nicknames are a thing mexican /latine cultures, but lord allmighty calling a 7-9(Im assuming age range) child Love Handles is just about the worst damn thing.

HERE'S WHAT I ASSUME HAPPENED:

Chicos in Spanish translates to young boys, OR/AND children (this word can be used as gender neutral)

She was MOST LIKELY supposed to be named Chicos, like one would name a random one-off character "lad" or "kid" (as she really is just A Random Kid)

Somewhere in translation, what should have probably chi.ko.su, was turned into chi.cho.su

It's the explanation I've found myself living with, don't like it, but it's been 20 years since and I have to learn to deal with it someday.

HER ENGLISH DUB NAME was changed to Rosa, or 'Pink'

its cute! its sweet its short it fits her, lovely.

BUT THEN HER LATAM SPANISH DUB NAME was changed to Guadalupe. Guadalupe is the Virgin Mary, this name is usually given to someone with lots of love and affection for the person. (My personal experience with the name was my cousin being named Guadalupe as thanks and in honor of the Virgin Mary after my aunt + cousin both nearly died during the birthing process)

Chichos as her name? I don't accept it. I refuse it. It's sexualized. I'm on all levels grossed out by it. Want nothing to do with this canon.

Rosa as her name? Yea sure! It's cute, I'll take it.

Guadalupe as her name? That's it, that's the one, 100% my one and only choice. We were given one (1) Mexican Digidestined, and that's the name that was lovingly given to her, Viva Mexico Cabrones. Plus!! It comes with a free nickname! Lupita! LOOK AT HER! SHE'S ABSOLUTELY A LUPITA!!!

SO, NOW WE CAN GO NAME ASIDE.

I've also been working on a day of the dead comic featuring Ken/Osamu/Daisuke/Guadalupe, actually!! (and also featuring some of my Mexican Digidestined OCs. I included some headcanons there for Guadalupe ALSO giving her a deceased brother actually, love that coincidence on both concepts lol)

It's extremely personal and I've pushed it off for years on how it's gotten me Very emotional while working on it, but it's been fun nontheless.

I'm a biiiiiit confused on how Osamu would be interacting with one of Guadalupes relatives ? Are you operating on land of the dead Coco rules? (nothing wrong w it ofc, do love that movie with all my heart, but how'd that lil guy get there🤔)

Do love the concept of Ken celebrating the holiday of course! Glad you see something there too!

OH I FORGOT ABOUT THE COATLMON PART OF THE ASK

Coatlmon is adorable, but I WISH the line had continued, there's so much mythology in many Digimon designs, I wish they could dive into Aztec influence a little more

But for Coatlmon and Mercurymon being the only two, it's a decent start

D&D Pantheons, Evaluated

Because you needed this. These are only groups of deities; if a deity has multiple religions in the same setting, I only evaluate it once.

Greyhawk Pantheons:

Core 3.5: Short, sweet, relatable in a vaguely Olympian way. Bonus points for bucking the trend and having an Apollo (Corellon) and an Artemis (Ehlonna). Missing a mythos and several roles, done in favor of having deities for each class by alignment and each race. Mildly Lawful. Sausage fest. C+

Extended Greyhawk (Complete Divine, 5e): Look, some of these (Beory, Tharizdun) are good additions, but this is getting unwieldy now. Note the absence of a Zeus/Hera (rulership) or Aphrodite (love). D

Baklunish: Attested as incomplete, but interesting in what it prioritizes. Without Al'Asran (Pelor) and Al'Zarad (Boccob), has no male deities of greater than Demigod status. C+

Flan (aka The Old Faith): The Druidic faith of the Flannaess. Majority of its major deities are commonly worshipped. Why do they have the only god(dess) of love in the setting (and why is her name dumb)? C

Oeridian: Trying to be Greco-Roman without actually being Greco-Roman. Kinda boring, really. C-

Olman: Aztec/Mayan/Olmec (mainly Aztec) pantheon imported. Like you do.

Suloise: There are good reasons why these gods aren't widely worshipped, but the best is that they have crappy names (like "Phaulkon" and "Osprem" and "Norebo"). D

Touv: Absolutely needs more use -- and not just because they're black in an otherwise mostly white setting. B

Pantheons of Toril

Main Faerûnian: There absolutely do not need to be this many gods of greater than Demigod status in a single pantheon. Doesn't follow its own rules: portfolio elements overlap (e.g., Akadi and Shaundakul), level of godhood does not correlate with prominence of worship (Akadi, Grumbar, and Istishia are all Greater deities despite barely having worship; Waukeen is Lesser while filling at least an Intermediate role). Too much deicide. At least it has gods of important concepts, like love. D

Celestial Bureaucracy (Kara-Tur): I know so little about various Chinese mythologies that I cannot compare these (the naming conventions alone scream Chinese even without obvious deities like you have Kwan Yin and "Mad Monkey" [Sun Wukong]).

Lords of Creation (Vedic Pantheon): I'm not surprised that there are basically no details here, as everyone skips Hinduism for some reason. (Don't want to offend because there are a billion+ living Hindus? Too similar to the Greek pantheon while being "exotic"?)

Maztican Gods: Aztec-ish gods with short, often Spanish names. Blargh? F

Mulhorandi (Faerûnian-Egyptian): Astonishingly close to the version presented in Deities & Demigods 3.0; drops Anubis, Apep, Imhotep, and Ptah, adds Anhur and Geb (wank gestures). Middling treatment of what in reality is an extensive pantheon. C+

Netherese Pantheon: Ah, a condensed pantheon of important Faerunian deities! Good. A few additions (e.g., Sune) would help. B+

Untheric (Mesopotamian) Pantheon: All but Hoar (Assuran) are dead, so who cares?

Zakharan Pantheon: I love that the main pantheon is about intellectual, emotional, social, and otherwise human qualities. (Too often, D&D pantheons end up making the only culture-y gods 1.) a paladin, 2.) maybe a bard, and 3.) maybe Hestia/a housewife.) That said, I know too little about this pantheon. A?

Golarion Pantheons

Inner Sea (Core): Mein Gott, these names are terrible. Very clearly an attempt at balancing genders in the 3.5 pantheon while importing Faerûnian gods (e.g., Mask, Selûne, Tempus). Points for having Aphrodite Urania and Pandemos, plus several other gods of love. No points for making Asmodeus (Satan) the Bane of the setting; he's been in every other main setting since 1e AD&D. D

Inner Sea (Lessers): These are interesting. Pirate Queen, Majora's Mask moon, Lady Liberty but without the blood washed away, an ascended construct, and Juliet. B

Osirian (Egyptian) Pantheon: A much more comprehensive approach to a pantheon which, if presented historically accurately, would be even more unwieldy than the Faerûnian one (because it's syncretic and covers several thousand years of cultural changes). Points for including Ma'at and not combining Horus and Ra. B

Tian Xia: Familiar deities abound, mostly Japanese with some Chinese names. Not terrible, but nothing profound. C

Vudran (~Hindu): Appropriately has a bajillion gods; consequently, I know next to nothing about it.

Other Official Human Pantheons

3.5 Splatbook Gods: Some of these names are okay; would have been nice if they'd been developed at all. D+

"Asgardian" (Norse) Pantheon (Deities & Demigods 3.0): The more I learn about Norse Mythology, the less I like this presentation. Why on Earth is Sif presented as a warrior goddess? Why do we have Odur treated as a separate god at all (and where's Sunna)? C

Birthright Gods: Erik and Sera? So lame! Eh. Just don't care. D

Dragonlance: HEAVILY Lawful -- the only sub-pantheon with more than one Chaotic deity is the evil pantheon, with two, and it still skews Lawful. Names are overly Biblical (to the point that some end up retrieving Bible materials when searched). Also a sausage fest (one good goddess, three neutral goddesses, and two evil ones). D-

Mystaran Immortals: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I know nothing about them.

Olympian Pantheon (Deities & Demigods 3.0): I feel like this could be better, but as far as interpretations go, it isn't horrible. B

"Pharaohnic" (Egyptian) Pantheon (Deities & Demigods 3.0): Not a terrible take on a ginormous pantheon, but too rooted in the Isis-Osiris-Horus mythos to present other important deities (like Amun or Ma'at). Points for Apep, though, who's kinda worse than Set. B-

Sovereign Host and Dark Six: Very clearly based on the Greek Gods without being too Greek (i.e., having much personality). Sovereign Host skews Lawful slightly (only one Chaotic deity -- the Barbarian deity/Kord-Hercules replacement/canonically Gruumsh). Dark Six is NE with the exception of the other two Chaotic deities (CN and CE); no LE god, implying Law = Good. May as well not exist. Just...bleh. D

Theros Gods: FOUR MILLION POINTS LOST FOR NOT HAVING AN APOLLO, GREEKEST OF GODS. Heliod is not Apollo; he is not a god of knowledge, truth, philosophy, art, and such. Apollo's important not for being a god of light, protection, and healing (there are zillions of gods like that), but for being a god of the Humanities. (Kruphix is the closest to this, but missed it.) Further points off for missing Aphrodite, Hera, and Hestia. Dear fuck, if you're doing a Greek setting, FUCKING DO GREECE! F-

Merla HCs for the soul

General Culture HCs ⭐ Her home planet is called Orulla ⭐ Ever seen that part where Zarkon says “no one knows where she’s from”? That’s because her and her people are from a place akin to VLD’s quantum abyss in terms of how the place functions. Trying to get in is a death wish so the place has yet to be discovered. ⭐ Her race is all one sex, and their secondary sex characteristics are more inline with that of a human female ⭐ But if you went there you might not notice bc gender expression is all over the place ⭐ Gendered pronouns are a wild concept to her bc “why is the gender of the person in question at all relevant, that’s like having a different pronoun for each hair color” ⭐ They do, however, use different pronouns depending on what they’re talking about. They have pronouns used for people, a word similar to “it” for inanimate objects, and another pronoun used for animals. ⭐ Like in Spanish, their language has formal and informal versions of the word “you” ⭐ The only reason they design their armor to overly highlight their bodies is because they realized it freaks other people out to fight an “all female” army and they get embarrassed as fuck when they get their asses beat by a bunch of ladies ⭐ Way more lax about nudity than a lot of other planets. The idea of modesty is more applied to one’s behavior, like their humility, rather than their clothes. ⭐ The most popular colors/materials for clothing is dark green and purple, red, silver, and gold. ⭐ Most of her people have darker hair, ranging from a black or purple color through magenta and dark pink to red. Eyes are typically the same color as the hair, and skin ranges from gray to a desaturated dark blue color. Most have a gray-blue complexion ⭐ Popular makeup trends are lipstick a similar shade to the skin, but darker or more vibrant, and killer eyeliner. ⭐ Her species is actually incapable of blushing, but after discovering it in other species they found it absolutely adorable and now blush is a popular makeup product. ⭐ Body mods are also very much A Thing in her culture. Piercings, tattoos, scarification, tongue splitting, all sorts of things, and they’re very popular. It’s sort of a right of passage, if an unofficial one. Once someone becomes an adult it’s sort of expected to get something done. ⭐ On that note, getting body mods are also seen as highly inappropriate if the individual who has them isn’t an adult. Something as simple as piercing your ears is jaw dropping to them if you’re a kid. ⭐ On her home planet, people aren’t considered adults until age 20 ⭐ Her people’s life expectancy is around 100-110 ⭐ Her people are also known for doing some funky fun hair stuff. Lots of elaborate braids, curling, and such. Shaving down parts of the head and even the whole head used to be really popular, and is now making a comeback in their mainstream culture. Shaving the entire head is seen as a sign of rebellion or mourning, depending on the context. ⭐ Animal motifs are The Thing in their fashion, particularly birds atm, as they are associated with power and royalty thanks to Merla’s affinity for them. So feathers, things shaped like wings, things with wing patterns on them, etc, are in. ⭐ The average adult of their species is about 6′1.5

Merla HCs ⭐ Age 23 at debut ⭐ 6′0 ⭐ Call her vulture ugly and she will fight you ⭐ Her bird is named Onyx ⭐ She raised that bird from the minute he hatched ⭐ Her telepathic abilities only extend to making people want to do things and getting a vague idea of what someone is thinking about at any given moment. She can’t truly force someone to do something and if she uses too much power she gets migraines. ⭐ She gets along better with animals than with people ⭐ Big Lesbian ⭐ Kala from Voltron Force is her older sister but Merla thinks she died a long time ago ⭐ Merla also has a sister 8 years younger than her named Dyla ⭐ Merla herself actually has a rare pigmentation issue. Her whole color palette is much paler than normal. She’s like an albino of her species in a way. ⭐ Merla has multiple piercings, including several in either ear, a septum piercing, and snake bites. She used to have a tongue piercing but then she got her tongue split and it’s kinda hard to have both ⭐ As for tattoos, she also has more than one, but some are more important than others. On her chest she has vulture wings around an “angel eater,” a flower that, in her culture, means “don’t get too cocky, ya lil shit, you’re still mortal.” On the inside of her right bicep she has an old proverb, “the river goes, and with it the stones.” It means that, yeah, people can make you promises, but ultimately as life goes on things could change and the only person you can really count on is yourself. ⭐ Heart breaker. She doesn’t like getting into actual relationships, she finds them... messy. So when she finds someone she actually likes she dips. And as a Queen needing to one day provide an heir, this is troublesome. ⭐ Merla had a good relationship with one mother and a bad relationship with the other. One, Arella, was a kind hearted woman, who died due to complications having her 3rd child. Merla calls her “mother.” Her other parent was a cold woman who was only interested in herself. Merla simply refers to her as “that woman” or by her first name, Zenaran. ⭐ Dyla was born prematurely, but even if she was carried to term she still would have been a sickly child. To this day she is a very delicate girl, who Merla will protect at all costs. She stands at 5′5, four inches shorter than what’s average for her age. ⭐ Merla herself had complications relating to her birth, but Dyla got everything she had, then some, and dialed up. ⭐ Unlike Dyla and Merla, Kala had no issues in regards to her health and birth. Not only that, but she hardly resembles her other two sisters. This has led to rumors that perhaps the three sisters don’t all share the same two parents, but that Kala is actually a half sibling to Dyla and Merla. ⭐ For several reasons, Merla refuses to acknowledge these rumors and has made no effort to look into them. ⭐ Dyla has not left the safety of their home palace in many years, and hasn’t been off-planet since her toddler years. ⭐ Kala and Merla were close. Kala expected the very best of her little sister, and always pushed her to succeed. ⭐ Mama Arella was a usually kind woman who lacked a backbone, but it’s rumored that she slept around outside her marriage and Merla, despite not really wanting to think about it, also has suspicions in regards to her mother’s faithfulness. ⭐ Arella was monochromatic, having black hair and grey skin. She looked like an old school cartoon character come to life. ⭐ Zenaran, much like her wife, wasn’t very faithful. However, she didn’t bother to hide it. As the one of royal blood, she was the one of higher status and could pretty much get away with whatever she wanted. Plus being an execution happy tyrant also helped. ⭐ Zenaran had long, dark red hair and blue-grey skin. ⭐ Kala is 2 years older than Merla and bore a striking resemblance to Zenaran, with dark red hair and blue-grey skin. ⭐ Dyla, age 15, is a bright and kind girl, despite her rough start to life. She has white hair and dark grey skin. ⭐ Dyla and Merla have an odd relationship. Merla is, on one hand, very much devoted to her little sister, but on the other, dismissive of the younger girl’s thoughts and wishes. She sees Dyla as fragile and incapable of taking care of herself, thus needing constant supervision and someone to make decisions for her. Dyla, though she understands where her sister is coming from, grows increasingly frustrated. ⭐ There is only one person alive who knows the origin of Merla’s powers, and it’s the woman who Arella had an affair with. ⭐ Dyla also has powers like Merla’s, but aside from the Muses teaching her how to rein them in, she doesn’t really know how to use them.

Muses HCs ⭐ The Muses of Norn weren’t kidnapped, they came with Merla willingly ⭐ She sought them out in hopes of learning to control her telepathy ⭐ Now it’s just. Merla and her squad of pretty girls. Sappho and her gal pals. ⭐ The Muses of Norn are named Thetis, Sura, Ceralean, Penelope, Era, Josephine, and Melody. ⭐ Thetis is 22 and the leader of the muses. She stands at 5′5 with blue hair and eyes, and a light brown complexion. She is associated with leadership and honorable conduct. ⭐ Sura is Thetis’s younger sister, age 21. She has redish-pink hair and blue eyes and is 5′6. Her complexion, like her sister’s, is light brown but dotted with freckles. She’s the muscle in their team. She is associated with sportsmanship, combat, and strength. ⭐ Ceralean, age 21, functions as second in command. She’s the analytical type. She’s ghostly pale, with dark blue eyes and hair, standing at 5′4. She is associated with academia. ⭐ Penelope is the oldest at 25 and is the mother hen of the team. Blonde, brown eyes, stands at 5′11, and has a lightly tanned complexion. She is associated with domestically, crops, and the changing of seasons. ⭐ Era, age 23. She has red-brown hair, dark pink eyes, dark brown skin, and stands at 5′7. She is associated with liberation, freewill, and is considered the protector of young women. ⭐ Josephine is the youngest at 17. She’s a little bratty, but they love her anyway. She has black hair, brown eyes, light brown skin, and stands at 5′2. She is associated with childhood, rebirth, joy, and is considered the protector of children. ⭐ Melody, age 19, is the quiet, soft one. Stands at 5′5 with blonde hair and green eyes, and a fair complexion. She is associated with the fine arts and humility. ⭐ Note that they haven’t aged since the became muses, so they’re all technically much older than their physical age. ⭐ The Muses were once mortal women, who ascended to a sort of deity-type status. ⭐ Although the Muses cannot age or die of old age, they can still be killed. ⭐ Thetis, Sura, and Ceralean have a strong, familial type bond, despite the fact that the 3rd isn’t actually blood related to the first two. Sura and Ceralean butt heads often, and Thetis has to play mediator. ⭐ Sura and Era tend to be a bit more loose canon than the other muses. They get into all kinds of trouble together. ⭐ Ceralean is rather protective of Melody and in turn, Melody has a bit of a crush on her.
