“Beautiful boys are the most dangerous ones. They get whatever they want. Even though they could destroy worlds with a smile and a hello.” {CAMBRIA COVELL}

The Devil
Spread on a cold bed a pale hand let slip a card
It was a cry of sorrow that broke the thread of enchanting thought
A spell woven heart once belonged somewhere
Now vengeful spite begotten desperate prayer
To unbind knotted bonds about the heart that caused despair
Melancholy sought sanctuary there, the glades which reach new pits in disrepair
Memory of a kiss which holds no substance, the prowess of a misty Illusion
Heavy lids, her eyes glazed as she retorts to darkness
The growl of menacing wolverine, resplendent,
He who sought to send her into screams, prowled about the walls that contained her
And when within she now wished she’d been without him
A wicked hunter and she his prey, onset nausea of faltered hope
The card which fell, The devil, whom had charmed her she now wished to dispel

i haven't seen you in two whole years (i probably won't see you tonight either)
and i haven't been sad today at all (not because of you, not because of me)
but i like to look back because we were the stereotypical clichéd 'almost' (at least that's how i remember it)
and it's not as if i stopped seeing in colours when i left
more like you were the black and white my world needed.
tonight i really miss you
