From a second story perch, the wild bellows, surrounded
A precarious green way, reminiscent of old haunts and hideaways
A carcass protected for now,
stay away! I translated under the highways relentless ruckus
Closing in, the slow rumble, man and machinery
The mockery, the madness of it all

Himalayan Aves #52: Golden-breasted fulvetta

The Satara Countryside.
A visiting Person, Bee, or a Bird,
You are welcome
to see and to hear
the dances and the songs,
from not just any
but The Satara Countryside.
Into this melodious Evening,
To see A Green Carpet
with specks of flowers White and Yellow.
The sun is setting down,
but a Bee still flies
from one Rhamphicarpa to the other.
A Lark is singing and saying goodbye to the day.
The Yellow Smithias have closed their petals,
and already gone to the sleep.
A visiting Person, Bee, or a Bird,
Lucky you are to catch a glimpse
of an evening in this countryside;
to see and to hear
the dances and the songs,
from not just any
but The Satara Countryside.

The harder we looked for God
the closer we got to nature
But the city walls close in and traffic was terrible
