Homeric Hymn 9, "To Artemis"
Sing, Muse, of Artemis, full sister of the Far-shooter, The virgin Pourer-of-Arrows, nursed alongside Apollo, Who gives her horses to drink from the Meles deep with reeds, Then swiftly drives her chariot all of gold through Smyrna To vine-rich Klaros, where Apollo of the silver bow Sits awaiting the arrival of the far-shooting Arrow-Pourer. And thus may you rejoice, and all the goddesses, in my song: But I shall sing of you first, begin my song from you, And having begun from you I shall move on to another hymn.

People aren't always going to love you in the way that you want them to. Sometimes, they are going to love you in the only way that they know how and it is going to be up to you to decide whether or not that love would be enough.

I never wanted to lose you; I never wanted to cry while remembering you. Because when some relationships break, they change something within us. I am alive with a handful of memories, memories that my heart recalls and crying with a smile on my face while going down memory lane. I think and, I wish, if things were the same as they were earlier and if I never lost the people I loved so much, I wish I had so many things, I think about so many irrational things that will never happen. I am not lying; I never wanted to lose you, I never wanted to cry while remembering you, I purely wanted to grow old with you.

After the fairy tale, the world is hazy, blue. The roles and faces here are unrehearsed. The soldier sings the partisan's laments. The young girl plays her songs of mourning...

Homeric Hymn 21, "To Apollo"
Phoebus, the swan sings of you with clear voice As he beats his wings and alights on the bank Of that eddying river, Peneios; And the bard, sweet of utterance, holding his clear-voiced Lyre, sings of you both first and last. So then farewell, lord! -Nobody just leaves in one go.. We keep pieces of us, fragments of us, bits of us with other people. You lose a call every day. Until there's no more calls, until the communication ceases. I carry these fragments everywhere, and sometimes, that is enough.
