I was never born. I came after. Falling through an ebony sky, observed by an ivory moon. A nameless, shapeless void then. Until I slipped into the first screaming mouth I happened upon and filled every space of it as water would. I am your soul. I am the universe inside of you. I am all of time swirled together and happening at once. I am everything you’ve ever felt and ever will feel and everyone you love and ever will. I am a star. A light that stays within you. At times you can glimpse me in your eyes or when you open your mouth. a celestial body. Everyone is.

and if we find ourselves at the end of the world know i have memorized the pathways that appear in your face whenever you smile.. or when you cry the way the light falls through your hair and the exact shade of your eyes and the way it changes with each passing mood and your face is just as lovely to me now as it was the first time i ever saw it i remember your voice and your favorite songs i remember the moments when there was only silence between us when it seemed you were on one side of the universe and i was on the other and i'll remember the warmth and explosion of energy when our hands clasped together again i have memorized all the little momentos you have saved in that old trunk.. or random drawer the details that were important to you fading pictures and notes and artwork the little bits that if pieced together just right would create a perfect summary of your life i have placed all the sweetest memories of you closest to my heart where they will stay eternally and all the darker ones i've hidden away so if we find ourselves at the end of the world that's the way i will remember you i hope you will remember me in the same way.
