Qui-Gon finds her outside, late at night, the day before their plan will go into effect. He doesn't say anything like shouldn't you be sleeping or won't you be tired tomorrow morning because he's not a complete idiot, but he does have to ask – "What are you doing?"
Lady Searah hums. "Practicing. It's been over a decade since I could touch the Force well enough for something like this. The better a grip I can get tonight, the less I'll have to worry about tomorrow." Her eyes flash towards his, bright and burning in a way they hadn't been before he'd removed the binding keeping her from touching the Force. "Watch. You might find this interesting."
Oh, might I, Qui-Gon thinks, but holds his tongue. The Force has guided him here, to exactly the kind of teacher he'd wanted, and placed him in position to do her a favor. The message is clear enough.
Sand swirls around, carried by more than just the cold nighttime wind. It collects together, swirls and eddies, wrapping around the two of them like a netted kaleidoscope.
Because he can't help himself, Qui-Gon reaches out and touches–
And yanks his hand back, biting off a curse. Flecks of blood drip down from his fingers, before he grimaces and pulls out a cloth to wipe them on. "You could have warned me," he grumbles.
Lady Searah laughs. "I'd have to warn you every time you saw it, if I'd done that. But now you've learned a lesson, haven't you? Think before you touch. Anything can be deadly, if you use it right."
He glares at her. She's right, damn it. "And how will this be useful tomorrow? If we're robbing Gardulla's treasury, we'll want to be stealthy. Not leaving sandblasted corpses everywhere we go."
The sand in the air twists, reaches inwards, closer and closer to Qui-Gon. A small tendril curls its way towards his face, and he refuses to flinch away, feeds his rage and fury. He on the Dark Side and goes to push away the sand, but – there's nothing to push on, and the tiny particles escape his grasp, continue on, scratch the lightest brush against his cheek. Not even enough to draw blood.
"Fine control," Lady Searah says, and raises her eyebrows. "Which you'll need to practice quite a bit, before you can manage this trick. Tomorrow I'll be taking the lead on this infiltration. You will follow my orders, and if you feel the need to deviate from the plan, you'll explain your reasoning to me beforehand. Do you understand?"
Qui-Gon grits his teeth. He wants to protest, but the swirling sand around them... he wonders how she's doing it. She can't be managing each individual grain of sand, not with so many of them; yet the complexity of the patterns, the way it drifts together and apart, always in motion, has such strange elegance to it, like a flock of birds or a colliding galaxy.
"I understand," he says.
"Good," she says. "Now go get some sleep. You'll want to be well-rested for tomorrow, Apprentice."

Goddamn Raihan and his hoodie not having an actual uniform underneath it... His type logo is illegible on his shorts, and even his gym trainers' uniforms aren't super clear... but worst of all, there's no nice clean name on the back, and between his handwriting and the fact that his signature is in the shape of a dragon head, it's nearly impossible to tell which bits are letters, or where some of them start/end. His name in Japanese is Kibana[キバナ] from Kibanafuji[黄花藤]: "Yellow Wisteria" and also a pun on kiba[牙]: "Fang." Given the size and number of shapes in it, I assume his signature actually just says K I B A.
The logo reads D R A G O N because Dragon Type is Dragon type[ドラゴンタイプ]. Duh...
His jersey number is 241, read as TWO YO I, as in Tsuyoi[強い] meaning either "Strong/Powerful" or "Fierce/Intense."
MAKUROKOSUMOSU BAN'KU[マクロコスモス・バンク]: MacroCosmos Bank. Again, nothing to actually interpret or "translate" here. But it was clever to give the Dragon trainer a kind of "hoard of gold" to fit the type's theme, though.
Klara's name in Japanese is Kurara[クララ] And her signature is based on the hiragana for ku[く] and the katakana for ra[ラ] to make a cute face; ラくラ
The poison logo reads D O K U, from doku[毒] the japanese word for "poison," just like the pokemon typing. I like that they opted to use a character that looks like the Skorupi for the second character; two arms and an arched tail.
her jersey number 881 reads as, YA HA I, as in Yabai[やばい], meaning "risky/dangerous/hazardous."
ARUSEUSU seiyaku[アルセウス製薬] meaning "Arceus drug manufacture"/"Arceus pharmaceutical." The Galar seems to read, A R U S E U S S E I Y A K, or ...S E I Y A ku[く]
Avery's name is actually SEIBORI~[セイボリー] as in "Savory," like the satureja plant. His jersey appears to read S A Y V O R Y,(S A Y V O R I(?)) no idea why the odd number of letters...
Psychic in Japanese is ESUPA~[エスパー] as in ESPer. It's not clear if the logo is going with E S U P A or E S P E R, since they're the same number of letters.
his number 026 reads as O TWO MU, like otsumu[御頭] meaning "brains/intelligence." Like with Raihan's it relies on the Japanese phonetics for the English Two being "Tsu," rather than any Japanese word for 2.
TERESUKURI~N'[テレスクリーン], which got localized as Telescreen, which is correct, although I think the Galar is based on the katakana not the romaji... Since テレスクリーン is 7 characters, but Telescreen is 10.
